I had to send my referral here twice. I provided my insurance information by phone when scheduling, but when I arrived for the appointment, they said they did not have the information I had previously provided, so I had to pay in advance, which was fine. I never received a call to review the test results and had to request copies of the results several times. I still have not received an EOB, so I assume they never submitted the claim to my insurance. I will look for another facility for future needs.

I do not recommend Dr. Gustin. Her consultation price is far too high for what you receive, which is nothing. She does not listen to you or your concerns. Because of all my miscarriages, I asked her to test me for a clotting disorder, but she did not. I therefore had another provider perform the testing. I wasted so much money when my miscarriage might have been prevented. Instead of trying to resolve the issue with me, she charged me another fee to speak with her by phone. For her, everything is about money and nothing else. She caused me so much unnecessary harm and did not care at all.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Dr. Whitten and the nursing staff are wonderful. They went above and beyond for us. When we became pregnant and lost our first daughter, they helped us through the grief and held our hands during that difficult time. When we became pregnant with our younger daughter, who is now one year old, she remained with us throughout. She found us an excellent team of high-risk doctors and even helped me find an OB-GYN who truly listened to me. She checked on me and ensured that I received care throughout my pregnancy. All the nurses working here are also wonderful. They are well informed, and we never experienced a single problem.

First, I thank God, and second, I thank Dr. Constance and her team for their excellent work with IVF. We now have a happy family. Thank you, Heartland.

The doctors were kind, but they did not make enough effort to find answers. They only performed basic hormone testing, a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), and genetic testing before telling me I had unexplained infertility and that IVF was the best option. They did not even let me try intrauterine insemination (IUI) or fertility medication first. If you do not want IVF, I suggest seeing someone else, because they seem mainly focused on selling IVF services and getting as much money from you as possible.

They gave me my baby girl. Dr. Weddin, if I spelled that correctly, was very caring and understanding.

I can’t fully express how much Dr. Delaney means to our family. She is deeply committed to her work and always advocates for families. It took some time for us to find the right solution, but she never gave up on us! I am incredibly grateful for her and her amazing team! She will always have a special place in our hearts! We love you, Dr. Delaney!!!!

All the nurses have been super easy to work with and show that they truly care! Dr. Constance has been AMAZING! I can just tell she truly cares about her patients! I Amy beyond happy with my doctor and her team of nurses!

The staff was warm and friendly, early appointments before work were convenient, and communication through the portal and by phone was easy. The care I received was thorough and exactly what I needed. I am very grateful to Dr. Delaney and her entire staff, from the front desk and nurses to the operating room team. I highly recommend her and her colleagues, who also cared for me with equal compassion. If you want a gentle, welcoming practice that explains treatment options in clear language, this is the place.

The worst experience: I spoke with the doctor for five minutes and was charged $400, even though they said insurance would cover it.

I scheduled a 45-minute consultation costing nearly $500, but it lasted just over 20 minutes. Dr. Delaney only repeated results from our previous clinic and said I needed an HSG, telling us nothing new. I wanted to investigate the root cause of infertility, as I clearly stated when booking and again during the consultation, but she showed no interest. Everyone was kind, but that does not compensate for failing to investigate while taking people’s money. I requested comprehensive bloodwork, but they made me wait another month. The panel was minimal, although I wanted extensive testing beyond typical LH, FSH, estradiol, prolactin, TSH, AMH, testosterone, DHEA-S, HGB A1C, CMET, 17 OHP, fasting insulin, Natera, and a few disease tests. I expected more investigation. They seemed to repeat generic statements rather than assess whether hormone levels were truly optimal, saying only that “everything looks within normal range” except one or two items. I wanted normal levels, not merely “within range.” In about 20 minutes and with little effort, this consultation told me everything I needed to know about the clinic.

Everyone was wonderful. Dr. Constance helped me through every difficulty, answered every question, listened, and supported every emotional high and low. She stayed positive and made me feel cared for; she is an outstanding doctor. I cannot praise this clinic enough. They made my greatest dream come true. Thank you all.

I greatly appreciated my time at HCRM, especially working with Dr. Gustin and her team. Dr. Gustin went above and beyond to offer alternative treatment options that other local clinics could not provide. I had a wonderful experience. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and caring. The process was long, but I never gave up. Dr. Gustin is the best, and I love her. I also love nurse Ashley. Forever grateful for the care I received at Heartland! All of the staff at Heartland are so kind and always made me feel welcomed! A special thank you though to Dr. Delaney and her team! The front desk staff were welcoming. However, after the initial consultation with the doctor, I completely lost interest. My husband and I had tried to conceive for a year without success. We are in our late twenties to early thirties, very healthy, and health-conscious. I came with concerns about a possible hormonal imbalance because I had experienced symptoms since puberty. I shared these concerns and asked well-supported questions, but the doctor said I was “reading too much into it.” Without any labs or testing, a 30-minute conversation supposedly established that I did not have PCOS because I was not “full-figured” enough. They would not test for insulin resistance or even testosterone during my next hormone panel. I wanted the full picture before ruling anything out. The doctor also told us that only people in third-world countries need vitamins and supplements because most people get all necessary nutrients from food. She also said an anti-inflammatory diet—or any diet—would not affect fertility. These dismissive and deeply uninformed comments left me with no confidence in this clinic beyond initial testing. I cannot imagine how much money and pain we might have endured if I had not known what questions to ask. The experience motivated me to work harder to eliminate environmental toxins that disrupt hormones and to focus on gut health. Fortunately, we conceived naturally just as we expected to begin testing. When I called to report my positive pregnancy test, they were incredulous and did not even congratulate me. They told me to take folic acid, but I objected because a diagnosed MTHFR variant prevents my body from processing it properly. I said I would take folate, its natural counterpart, but they continued to insist strictly on folic acid. I trusted my instincts, took folate, and delivered a very healthy baby boy. It was the easiest pregnancy I could imagine. I know not every couple is as fortunate, but we almost immediately felt that natural conception had been treated as impossible. If you want to qualify quickly for IVF, this may be the place for you.

I feel very fortunate to have found these excellent healthcare professionals to help us on our fertility journey. I felt their care at every visit. That meant a great deal because providers elsewhere can make you feel like just another patient. Dr. Gustin is the most approachable doctor I have met. She not only provided comprehensive fertility care but also ensured I maintained my emotional well-being throughout the process!

They are so supportive and positive throughout your entire journey with them; from the moment you walk in the door to the day you graduate and even after. Sadly, unforeseen circumstances led to the loss of my baby. The grief was devastating, but I never gave up. With encouragement and continued support from HCRM, I took time to rebuild mentally, physically, and emotionally. In September 2025, I returned stronger and more hopeful. I am now healthy and 10 weeks and 4 days pregnant, all thanks to this remarkable team. They believed in me when I did not and encouraged me when the road felt hard. I am crying while writing this because, although overjoyed to be pregnant, I will truly miss them. Their compassion, professionalism, patience, and genuine care touched me at every visit. This is my second time receiving care from Heartland Center. The first time I received phenomenal care from Dr. Macklin and the whole crew at Heartland Center. I had surgery to remove a septum and Dr. Macklin was very personable and made sure I felt seen and heard. I was recommended to Heartland Center by my OB to have fibroid removal. I had a consultation with Dr. Gustin which went well. Dr. Gustin cared to get to know me and my spouse. Fast forward to the fibroid surgery in January this year, Dr. Gustin held my hand until I went under anesthesia which meant a lot. Dr. Gustin and her team were able to remove all my fibroids. I just had my saline ultrasound this week and no fibroids have grown back. I am very grateful to Dr. Gustin and the whole staff I came into contact with because I finally feel more like myself without pain than I have been in a long time.

This place was a nightmare for me. Why did a nurse, rather than a doctor, merely glance over and remind me to take ibuprofen before the tubal patency test? Other clinics use anesthesia for this test. My emotional support person was denied access to the room. Fine, it was an X-ray. We asked for someone to hold my hand during the procedure, but because my support person was not allowed in, no one helped. I have never been so frightened or in so much pain. Dr. Oates even said, ‘Haha, yes, we hear a lot of swearing here.’ It was not funny. You should not be comfortable subjecting emotionally distressed women to such severe physical pain. At the follow-up to discuss results, the doctor said, ‘Well, both tubes are open, which is good,’ but both were not open, and I had to remind her. Dr. Oates was the one who performed the procedure! I was extremely stressed at this appointment and simply wanted relief from severe menstrual pain. They prescribed birth control even though I wanted to become pregnant. They said I did not have to collect it, so I did not. A nurse called to arrange follow-up and asked how the birth control was working. I said I would not take it. She scheduled me, then canceled because I said I would not take the medication. A month later, when I thought the appointment was due, I received no Zoom link and called. I learned there was no appointment, and no one had told me what to do next. The nurse argued that I should have called when my period began because the doctor's note said so. The doctor had never mentioned this. I had no idea what the nurse meant because the doctor never told me any of it. I requested my records to see what lies they contained and was asked to sign a benefits statement to myself?! It was the most ridiculous thing I had heard. Reviewing the records, I found a note written the day before an appointment (???) claiming that a nurse had explained the surgical process, which she clearly had not, and that my husband was offered Viagra. My husband was not even there. I was furious and changed doctors. The new doctor seemed fine but refused to prescribe metformin for PCOS because I was not morbidly obese, despite it being a commonly used PCOS medication. He prescribed letrozole during my period, exactly what the first doctor wanted me to do but never explained. After taking letrozole, I had an ultrasound to determine whether I was ovulating. The ultrasound was scheduled only two days after my period ended, which I believe was solely to make money. It was intended to confirm ovulation, which usually occurs at least five days after menstruation ends. The appointment cost $400, and the sonographer coldly told me I had not ovulated and should return in a few days. Worse, on the day of my $400 examination, equipment used for other patients was still in the room. I panicked; it was disgusting. What were you thinking?! They offered the next ultrasound free, then said I had to pay another $200 because of their scheduling error. I had been bleeding since the previous ultrasound, and the medication clearly did not work, so I did not return. I have now been bleeding for almost a month. What did you do to me?! This clinic is sinister and heartless, and I will never return. I developed severe PTSD from coming here, and this place only worsened my problems. The stress this clinic caused was practically birth control, even though my goal was to have a child!

The care at HCRM Fertility is exceptional. Every doctor is excellent and fully invested in your treatment. I was primarily treated by Dr. Delaney, who is outstanding. She is knowledgeable, approachable, compassionate, and genuinely wants her patients to succeed. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Delaney and her team. Everyone at the clinic is excellent, but Ginny, Sarah, and Erin were especially wonderful. They were consistently compassionate, attentive, and reassuring. Sarai at the front desk always greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome whenever I entered the clinic. I am deeply grateful for the care I received and highly recommend HCRM Fertility to anyone seeking fertility treatment!

Dr. Delaney and her entire team are wonderful. They supported and cared for us through both good news and bad. Especially after our multiple miscarriages, Dr. Delaney was exceptionally thorough and thoughtful in her evaluation. She made sure nothing was overlooked and reviewed all the test results with us in detail. She also worked collaboratively with us, answering our questions about the reasons for certain treatment options and explaining the rationale behind each decision so that we could participate in the process. Even after our successful embryo transfer, her understanding and compassion for my anxiety and fears about pregnancy brought us great comfort. I highly recommend HCRM and Dr. Delaney, not only for their clinical expertise but also for the exceptional care and consideration they showed us throughout the difficult journey of infertility.

This is the worst hospital I have ever visited. They barely cared for me and did not even provide basic nursing care. There were no pillows or blankets. The doctor brought me a pillow, and when the nurse came in with a blanket, her attitude was so awful that I could not believe it. I am usually a very agreeable person, so I was completely stunned. They did not clean my wound. The only help I received was when the doctor came once before and once after I was admitted, and when the nurse brought me a blanket. They pushed me out even though I clearly needed longer treatment. Lakeside Hospital would never treat me this way, but they forced me to come here.

I absolutely love this clinic!!! I had been struggling with irregular periods and difficulty becoming pregnant! From my first appointment, Dr. Gustin made me feel that she truly cared about me and my health! She felt like the person I had needed years ago... She developed a treatment plan, and I trusted her completely... I ultimately had an abdominal myomectomy. I had watched many videos about recovery, so I was prepared to be bedridden for at least a week! Before surgery, I was told that she would advocate for me and make sure everything was arranged properly during my hospital stay... She did an amazing job!!! I was up and walking the night of surgery and able to get up normally every day afterward! My incision is perfect... She is an incredible doctor!!! Her team is just as wonderful!! I cannot wait to begin the next part of our journey!!

Their communication is terrible. They rarely contacted us about any tests or next steps. They also use what appears to be a scam testing service that charges $13,000 per test, knowing insurance will deny it, then offers you a "special price." More than a year later, we still have received no response about our $13,000-per-test charges.

I am extremely disappointed. I called several times and requested an appointment twice through their website but received no response. After trying for about a month, this was very frustrating.

We love Heartland! Our experience was wonderful, and we will always be grateful for the staff's attentive care and unwavering support. Special thanks to the Delaney team. My husband and I were impressed with everyone at this clinic. We met with Dr. Constance, and being able to complete all monitoring appointments in Lincoln saved a great deal of time.

My husband and I recently concluded our treatment journey at Heartland. Although our infertility treatment did not produce the outcome we hoped for, I want to share our experience in the hope that it helps others navigate this difficult path. First, I am grateful that Nebraska has a resource like Heartland. Infertility is extremely challenging, and I do not take access to specialized care close to home for granted. Dr. Gustin was very kind and compassionate, and the nursing staff consistently provided supportive, professional guidance throughout treatment. However, some aspects of our experience could be improved. Our greatest challenge was communication with the finance and billing office. Responses were often delayed or absent, adding unnecessary stress to an already emotionally, physically, and financially draining process. I understand the complexity of managing billing for multiple medical facilities, but timely and clear communication is essential, especially when many patients pay out of pocket or have limited insurance coverage. I often needed the nurses' help to obtain a response from billing, and even then, if I missed a call and returned it promptly, I received no response. Emails and portal messages also frequently went unanswered. Another area for improvement is the availability of the in-house therapist. Evening appointments would be very helpful because many patients must balance work with frequent daytime appointments. Mental health support is an important part of fertility treatment, and more flexible scheduling could make a major difference. When financial pressure led us to make the difficult decision to stop treatment, I sent the clinic a message. Unfortunately, I never received a response, not even a simple acknowledgment. At such a painful moment, a kind word or encouraging note would have meant a great deal. Despite these issues, I do not want to discourage others from seeking treatment at Heartland. I know many families have succeeded here, and I am genuinely happy for them. This was simply our personal experience, and I hope sharing it helps the clinic continue improving and support future patients more effectively.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Heartland! Fertility treatment was one of the most vulnerable and emotional periods of my life, and every nurse, receptionist, and doctor we encountered showed extraordinary kindness. We interacted mainly with Dr. Weedin, Dr. Delaney, and Dr. Gustin. I especially appreciated how they handled difficult conversations with honesty and empathy while offering reasonable next steps and a clear path forward. During every ultrasound, tubal examination, biopsy, and other procedure, the clinician was completely transparent about what they saw and what it meant. We were never told something like, “The doctor will call you in a week.” When we successfully became pregnant, all the staff knew who we were, and Dr. Weedin even called to wish us well on the next stage of our journey. After nearly a year at Heartland, returning to a “routine” prenatal visit, where patients are moved in and out as quickly as possible, felt quite uncomfortable. Our baby girl was born about a week ago, and we are incredibly grateful to all the staff and doctors at Heartland for making this dream possible!

Dr. Oakes' team is wonderful. Hope is always caring and warm, especially during blood draws, which can be very uncomfortable. Stephanie is a master at drawing blood. The front-desk receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. My entire experience here was brief, pleasant, and excellent.

From day one, when my husband and I sought help building our family, I felt that Heartland was on our side. Everyone was wonderful, guiding and supporting us through the highs and lows of our journey. Special thanks to Dr. Weedin! She not only helped us start and grow our family, but also identified factors critical to my treatment and long-term care that other doctors had missed. She unquestionably goes above and beyond and genuinely advocates for her patients. We are now expecting our *second* baby—can you believe it?—and could not be more grateful for Heartland’s care and support.

The $400 visit ended with a cold ultrasound technician telling me I had not ovulated and should return in a few days. Worse, the room still contained instruments used for another patient, which was alarming and disgusting. They first offered the next ultrasound free, then said I would owe another $200 because of their scheduling error. I had continued bleeding since the prior ultrasound, and the medication clearly had not worked, so I did not return. I have now bled for nearly a month and do not know what they did to me. This clinic is cruel and unethical, and I will never return. The experience caused severe PTSD and worsened my problems. The stress this clinic caused felt like contraception, even though my goal was to have a child.

Dr. Abby Delaney is one of the most outstanding physicians I have ever worked with. I cannot say enough about her knowledge as a reproductive specialist or the care and compassion she brings to every patient. She is professional yet kind and caring, with an incredible bedside manner. She goes above and beyond for her patients, and you can feel her passion for helping women. My husband and I had difficulty with fertility, and Abby worked alongside us throughout our IVF journey. Infertility can be a long, sad, and heartbreaking road. You need a doctor by your side who listens, someone who accompanies you through every storm, every high and low, and every joy and tear. Abby is that person. With her knowledge, expertise, and passion for helping women, she gave us our miracle baby. We will always be grateful for everything she did to bring us little Margaret. We are now working with her again in hopes of having a second baby. I cannot praise Abby enough and highly recommend her! She truly was a light during a very dark journey.

When I reflect on infertility and look back on my five-year journey, I cannot help but feel grateful to Dr. Delaney. She showed that doctors can still go above and beyond, build connections, and create a collaborative environment. She gave very sound medical advice during our discussions and connected with me as a person, making me feel that my journey was important and unique. She is busy and highly respected because of the work she does to create a safe and positive environment for patients. I have referred many loved ones, family members, and friends to her because I believe 100% that she and her team are the very best.

Without Dr. Delaney, I would not have my son. After two years of trying to conceive, we found Dr. Delaney. Because of my age, she took an aggressive treatment approach, which resulted in pregnancy on my first attempt. She truly is an asset, valuing both your experience as a woman and your desire to grow your family. We need more doctors like Dr. Delaney in this world. ❤️

Dr. Delaney is the kindest and most dedicated doctor I have ever met. My experience with her was incredible. She listens carefully, explains every procedure and process in detail, and genuinely celebrates every patient. She stays up late researching rare issues and sincerely works to help each patient have the child they want. I had 3 IUIs with Dr. Delaney, the third resulting in pregnancy, as well as surgery.
