Dr. Zalman Levine, United States
Dr. Zalman Levine, co-director of our institute, is board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). His clinical expertise covers all areas of assisted reproduction, including ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic testing (PGD and PGS), and oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing) for fertility preservation. The Fertility Institute recruited Dr. Levine in 2002 to provide patients with state-of-the-art reproductive technologies. Before joining our team, he was a clinical and research fellow at Harvard, working with distinguished REI leaders and teaching reproductive medicine and surgery at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He conducted pioneering research, presented at national conferences, published in the medical literature, and received numerous academic awards for his research, teaching, and surgical skills. Before beginning his medical career, Dr. Levine studied at the rabbinical seminary of Yeshiva University and was ordained as a rabbi. He has lectured extensively on the relationship between assisted reproduction and religion. Patients and colleagues recognize Dr. Levine for his warmth and compassion, clinical innovation, attention to detail, ability to explain and communicate medical concepts clearly and sensitively, and success in helping people become parents.
