Dr. Jacquelyn Means, United States
A St. Louis native, Dr. Means completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at Washington University in St. Louis. She then moved to Dallas and completed her residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in 2016. She has worked at Plano Women’s Healthcare since then. She was selected as Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medical City Plano and served in hospital leadership from 2018 to 2022. Dr. Means is also proud to have been named one of D Magazine’s “Best Doctors” in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Known for her warmth and curiosity, Dr. Means focuses on patients’ quality of life and well-being. She is well regarded in the community for supporting vaginal delivery for first-time mothers, positive birth experiences, hormone balance and optimization, PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), and fertility. She is also a skilled surgeon in robotic surgery, hysteroscopy, and endometrial ablation.
Dr. Means recently became a mother as of July 2023 after experiencing infertility, gestational diabetes, and postpartum hemorrhage. Having “been through it all,” she brings empathy and practical insight to her patients.
