Rebecca Chilvers, MD, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She earned her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Chilvers completed her residency and subspecialty training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she also earned a Master of Medical Science.

In addition to extensive experience with in vitro fertilization and fertility treatment, Rebecca Chilvers, MD, is one of the few female reproductive endocrinologists in North Texas with specialized training in the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. She uses this minimally invasive approach for complex procedures, including myomectomy and tubal reversal. During medical school, she received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award. During residency, she received research funding and numerous teaching awards. She has also been recognized as one of "America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists."

Dr. Chilvers has been named a Mom-Approved Doctor by DallasChild magazine, a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly, and a Best Doctor in Collin County by D Magazine, and has been selected for the Texas Monthly Super Doctors® Rising Stars list.     I have completed 6 transfers. All failed. For the last transfer on December 30, 2024, they updated the protocol and were finally able to transfer 2 eggs. If I could change clinics, I honestly would. Unfortunately, this is the only fertility clinic covered by my insurance. During retrieval, I had to take many very expensive medications. I had planned to pay for the original dose, but Dr. Patel increased it unexpectedly, so the final price doubled and tripled. It was extremely stressful. During my first two transfers, the written instructions were inaccurate. For example, I was told to take progesterone/sesame oil 100mg/ml, 2ml intramuscularly daily, for a total dose of 200mg. My prescription was 50mg/ml. For roughly my first 2-3 cycles, I was instructed to take too much. Only after I finally asked did Dr. Patel say this was incorrect. A manager then called and argued that this had nothing to do with the failure of my first few cycles. This meant thousands of dollars wasted and left me more worried than before. Another problem is their prior authorization team. They wait too long to submit PAs, causing you to miss several cycles. I was very fortunate and grateful that my insurer helped expedite my PA. I spent hours on the phone, but starting another cycle sooner was worth it. I should also mention that they have held about $1,500 since March 2024. They keep saying claims have not been processed, although I met my deductible in the first quarter of the year. They say they will send a check, but based on several other reviews, I am not holding my breath. Overall, I did not have a good experience here. I will not return or recommend them. Update 1/31/25: On January 13, 2025, Gracie from finance called me. She offered to mail a check to my home and verified my address. If she mailed it that day as stated, I should have received it by January 24. Then Gracie called on January 23, 2025, saying she wanted to send payment by ACH and that I would receive the direct deposit the next day. After she emailed requesting my banking information, I provided everything within minutes. Two days later, I followed up by email to tell Gracie I had not received payment. I received no response. Just after 4:30 p.m. on January 30, 2025, I called and left a message requesting a manager. Ms. Wilson called back, and I explained that I still had not received my funds. I forwarded the last email I had sent Gracie, explaining that the funds had not reached my account as promised. Now, over a week later, Gracie finally replied by email saying there was a problem issuing my payment...unacceptable. I told her to forget ACH and mail a check. Had she mailed it as planned on the 13th, I would have received it long ago. I hope I get my overpayment back. It has been held far too long... Update 2/6/25: I finally received the check by FedEx. However, the clinic is now charging me an egg storage fee even though I never agreed that they could keep my remaining eggs. I discussed this with the office manager on January 30, 2025. She was supposed to investigate and call me back. So far, I have heard nothing.

    These people basically completed an egg-freezing procedure and billed my insurance for services outside the program I enrolled in, including sperm separation, assisted hatching, and insemination. They never sent me a bill, but called and texted several times a day demanding payment for charges insurance did not cover. I requested the bill, then checked my insurer's website and found that they were committing insurance fraud by adding procedures I never had. Check your bill or request one. I plan to ignore their calls and report this to my insurer.

    My egg retrieval went smoothly! The women at reception were very friendly when I arrived. My nurse Lisa was wonderful! She explained everything and reassured me. Dr. Skora and my anesthesiologist were the best. I also appreciate everyone at the Rockwall center, especially Amber, FNP, and the phlebotomist. The women behind the scenes called and guided me through the entire process and next steps. They were very helpful and kind. They always listened and made the process very easy. Thank you so much!

    The worst company I have dealt with in a long time. If a doctor referred you, they cite HIPAA to refuse to release your own results, even though HIPAA does not prevent you from receiving them. They tell you that you are not their patient even after you complete paperwork, pay for testing, and submit a sample. Instead, you must obtain results from the referring doctor, but when I called that office, they said they did not have them, so the runaround continues. They also do not return calls as promised, and weeks pass without any results!

    I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. After seeing a TikTok recommendation from a woman who had experienced a failed IVF cycle, we decided to give this clinic a chance. Everything was terrible, from the nurses, testing, communication, and diagnosis to the finance department. I constantly had to chase them to ask what came next. The patient coordinator ordered duplicate tests, and because of incorrect codes I received a $1,032 bill for "experimental" testing. Dr. Goldstein ordered these tests as part of my diagnosis, and I have documentation proving it. I am still fighting my insurer over this. I flew to Dallas for a saline ultrasound because Dr. Goldstein insisted it had to be done at his facility. Along with my husband's semen analysis, flights, hotel, and car rental cost us an additional $1,000. This could have been done locally. I contacted finance eight times about insurance approval. Olga and her assistant repeatedly assured me it would be submitted, but nothing happened until my husband gave them an ultimatum that we would change clinics if they did not act. Only then was it finally submitted. Once approved in mid-October, the coordinator said my cycle had to be completed by December 15 because of laboratory maintenance. This critical information was not disclosed in advance, leaving no time to change clinics. Her response was, "Why don't you call the insurance company and ask for earlier approval?" This clearly showed their lack of support and compassion. After approval, I repeatedly requested a cycle calendar. They refused until we were "financially cleared." We did not receive this vital information until the day before injections began. After payment, we received a confusing, disorganized flowchart. We were told monitoring could be done in Las Vegas and that I only needed to travel to Dallas three days before retrieval. On the second day of monitoring, however, I was told I had to be in Dallas four days later. Because flights were so expensive, we drove 20 hours, making the trip extremely stressful. On the first day of stimulation, my medication had not been submitted. I used medication left from a previous cycle, but ran out by day three. Because the prescription was wrong, I did not know whether the remaining medication would arrive in time. I spent hours calling CVS and the clinic while they blamed each other. The stress was unbearable. This was one of the worst moments of the cycle. I still shake thinking about it. Katia's hostile attitude made me panic. With no medication for the next day and constant poor communication, I was ready to quit. My husband again escalated the problem to the clinic manager, who finally stepped in to correct the staff's errors. No one told us the trigger medication required refrigeration. The day before retrieval, I learned it had to be refrigerated and might need replacement. Another doctor performed the retrieval. I wish Dr. Ali had been my doctor from the beginning—he was the only person at that terrible clinic who treated us with kindness and honesty. A week before the PGTA results, Katia called to suggest a transfer and immediately asked whether I wanted another cycle. How can you suggest a transfer to a patient who has experienced failure, without knowing the PGTA results, risking another failed IVF cycle and miscarriage? And then immediately suggest another cycle? I never want to hear from these people again! It was irresponsible and greedy advice. We ultimately had two abnormal embryos. I believe the stress caused by this clinic contributed to the outcome, though of course they will blame my age. Dr. Goldstein claimed he wanted to be "more aggressive," but my dose was low. How is that aggressive? This experience was painful, and I still have PTSD when I think about how we were treated.

    My experience with Texas Fertility Center was mixed. After a series of tests, they told me my chance of conceiving naturally was low and recommended IVF. To my surprise, I became pregnant before beginning IVF. I was delighted but unsure what to do next and whether the pregnancy was viable. I called to discuss my pregnancy and request bloodwork, and I was disappointed to learn that they would not see me because I had not completed a cycle with them and conceived on my own. Other clinics advised me to wait until 8 weeks, which I understand because they do not know my medical history. I felt unsupported at this critical time. I suppose they only care about money. I wish they provided continued support to all patients. If you are considering this clinic, be aware of its policies on continuing care. They also answer calls only to take a message and always have to call you back, which is never straightforward.

    We love you, FST!!!!!! After a heartbreaking experience at a previous clinic, I arrived at Fertility Specialists of Texas hesitant and discouraged. From the moment I entered, the clinic and especially its people felt different. The entire team—receptionists, nurses, embryologists, and doctors—treated us with care, respect, and genuine concern. They explained every step, answered all our many questions, and never made us feel like a number or paycheck. Dr. Goldstein is knowledgeable, compassionate, and honest. He understood our history and worked with us on a new plan tailored to our needs. For the first time, we felt heard and supported. He is kind and highly successful in every respect and knows how to help you build the family of your dreams. His nurses Michelle and Ashley are kind, patient, and exceptional. They were always available for every call, appointment, and question. This clinic helped us medically and emotionally. If you want a fertility clinic that truly cares and has excellent outcomes and statistics, I highly recommend Fertility Specialists of Texas (FST). FST is the only choice!     We love the care team at Fertility Specialists of Texas. Although we moved out of Texas last year, we returned for our second transfer because we trust them so much. They know our names and make us feel genuinely cared for. Dr. Skora is excellent, and I trust him completely. Our coordinator, Vicky Ramirez, communicates extremely well and is always available to answer questions or help. Fertility treatment can be difficult, and I cannot imagine it without the FST team's support. Thank you for giving us this family. We are deeply grateful.

    We are very disappointed by their conduct. After completing all the required tests and preparing to begin IVF, we sent a message a week ago asking about the next steps and received no response. Such unprofessional behavior from a fertility center is unacceptable. We are seriously considering switching providers.

    I do not usually write reviews. I am not doing this casually and have given it considerable thought. The only reason I did not give this clinic one star is that I truly want to believe the doctors wanted our journey to succeed. However, even if it had succeeded, we would never return. We invested an enormous amount—not just money, but years of our lives. Unfortunately, it never worked. After every failure, we were told, "Well, that is strange," but received no real answers. Perhaps sometimes that is simply how it is. Perhaps. I would like to believe the facility and doctors were not responsible, but I am not an expert. We saw Skora and Goldstein. Both doctors were pleasant, although we had very little time with them. We always felt rushed, more like we were being moved along an assembly line than receiving personalized care. The biggest problem was the staff. Scheduling errors were routine and sometimes cost us an entire treatment cycle. We frequently encountered indifference or poor attitudes, and not only at this location. Follow-up was promised but never delivered. Only a few staff members were good, and they were the exception rather than the rule. When we decided to try other fertility specialists—which we did not want and was not an easy decision—we were treated very poorly. Calls were ignored, we were misled, and it became clear that once they could no longer get more money from us, they stopped caring. The simple task of providing medical records took several weeks. They repeatedly promised it would be done "by the end of the day," but it was not. Every time we called again, it was like starting over; no one knew about previous conversations. Everyone knows time is critical in fertility care, and we could not proceed until this was completed. Once again, they caused further delays. Reaching a manager by phone felt impossible. I wish we had known then what we know now. There are many more affordable options. Even if we had still needed several cycles, our funds might not have run out so quickly, and we might have been able to try more rounds. For those who succeeded here, that is wonderful, and I am happy for you. But this is a business, and the financial incentive for failure is much greater than for success. Most tellingly, we still have business with them, and that is exactly why I was afraid to post this review. I feared subtle retaliation that could have a major impact on us. Despite my hesitation, I believe it is important to add an honest voice to the discussion—not every review is enthusiastic or full of praise.

    I am so upset with the Plano clinic I been calling since last month trying to get HSG done and have not heard back from them. This is so disappointing that you have to be constantly calling even to get lab results. I feel they don't care since my first visit with Dr. goldstein. All they care is about money and not helping their patients at all.

    Positive experience from FET transfer with Dr.Chilvers and team. (I had my IVF and 1st FET in other state) Discuss your protocol completely, if you have any concerns ask ahead. Don’t forget to mention all your health conditions and keep them on file. I had to do 2 cycles to get to FET. 1st cycle was void because of extra Lupron in protocol, 2nd cycle was success after removing Lupron from the protocol. Keep communication channel open between your Dr/team and you. Anything however small drop them a email and work around things. I would recommend this clinic.

    If you want an approachable, compassionate, and caring fertility doctor, Dr. Chilvers is an excellent choice. IVF can be a difficult, isolating, and expensive journey, and FST ensured that I felt heard, supported, and cared for throughout. I can be a somewhat demanding patient. We had a stillbirth in June 2022 and struggled to conceive again. We began IVF in January 2025, and I became pregnant in July 2025. Our issue was male-factor infertility, and Dr. Chilvers explored every option. She even made time to remove a small polyp without affecting our transfer date. I will always be grateful to her. Her nurse Hadleigh is delightful. I had some moments of panic, and they handled them with great kindness. Their portal system is excellent: you can message your team and receive a quick reply. From the beginning, we had a complete team and portal access, making everything as transparent as possible and ensuring all questions were answered. An intake staff member assigned our financial adviser, carefully reviewed Dr. Chilvers’ recommendations, and helped us maximize our insurance benefits. The financial adviser spent about an hour on the phone explaining each step and its costs in detail. This journey was not easy, but organizations like Fertility Specialists of Texas make an extraordinary effort for patients.     This is for anyone who sees the word "fertility" and assumes it means reproductive assistance. After several blood draws and tests, it was clear that I was not preventing us from conceiving. However, when I requested a serum prolactin test for my husband, I was told, "We don't do that here." I was confused because the sign says fertility, but the woman who later called said, "We handle female fertility." The goal is pregnancy, which involves both of us. I was quoted thousands of dollars for these tests while my husband only had a testosterone test and sat on the sidelines. It is ridiculous, and no wonder so many people struggle to conceive. There is no treatment or diagnosis anymore, only talk. If you are concerned about fertility, save your money.

    Dealing with their finance department, especially Olga, was a nightmare. Although my insurance clearly showed that I had met my deductible and owed no out-of-pocket costs, they insisted on collecting payment at the time of service. Even after my insurance claim was approved and all charges were paid, they did not refund my money. Olga and the finance team never communicate. They take your money but will not return money you do not owe. Their unethical conduct and complete lack of communication added needless stress to a process meant to help patients. The finance team alone makes it not worth going here.

    I cannot say enough good things about Fertility Specialists of Texas. From my first call to schedule an appointment, through diagnostics, one IUI cycle, and ultimately a successful IVF transfer, my entire experience was exceptional. I worked with the Plano team, and every person truly made a difference. The front desk staff was always warm and welcoming, the laboratory team handling my bloodwork was professional and reassuring, and the coordinators were outstanding. They were patient, always took time to listen, and answered every one of my many questions without making me feel like a burden. Their consistent kindness, support, and thoughtfulness made me feel safe during an otherwise overwhelming process. I was treated by Dr. Chilvers, and I cannot praise her enough. She is brilliant and genuine—clearly intelligent, experienced, and trustworthy, while also warm, kind, and compassionate. I had complete confidence in her medical guidance and felt genuinely cared for and valued. Fertility treatment is not always easy or comfortable, but she brought humanity and compassion to every step. That balance meant everything to us and positively shaped our experience. Thanks to this team, I am now entering my second trimester, something I could not have achieved without their guidance and support. I am profoundly grateful. My only suggested improvement is the patient portal. It feels outdated and cumbersome, is not very user-friendly, and is definitely not mobile-friendly. Navigation is not always intuitive, and messaging can be frustrating because you cannot reply directly and must start a new thread each time. Once you learn its quirks, however, it works, and it did not diminish the quality of my care. Even if the portal never changes, I would still choose this team again every time. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I would recommend Fertility Specialists of Texas without hesitation to anyone beginning this journey.

We felt more at ease after meeting her because she guided us throughout, answered all our questions, and gave us plenty of time. She communicated directly and explained the entire treatment process.     I paid FTH $179, but its invoice showed only $129, saying a $50 copay had been deducted. It then deducted another $50 for the same copay. My insurer confirmed that it paid the full $179, meaning I should not have been charged at all. We contacted the clinic repeatedly and offered all supporting documents—insurance records, invoices, and the credit-card receipt—but it remained silent. It collects money remarkably quickly, then disappears when a refund is owed. Front-desk staff also seem poorly trained and careless; if a patient pays $179, the invoice should show that exact amount. This billing feels misleading and unprofessional. If the clinic does not respond or resolve the issue promptly, we will pursue formal legal channels. Patients deserve honesty, transparency, and proper communication—not silence when a refund is due.

    We were told by a previous fertility specialist that it was impossible for us. My husband did not take no for an answer and began researching the best Fertility Doctors in Texas. That is when we found Dr. Chilvers at Fertility Specialists of Texas. From the very beginning she was hopeful and explained our options to us clearly.     In 2019, we chose Dr. Chilvers as our reproductive endocrinologist, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. After three years of trying to conceive, we were diagnosed with infertility. Dr. Chilvers quickly identified the cause and created a personalized treatment plan. We underwent 5 IVF cycles and 1 IUI. I greatly appreciated Dr. Chilvers' honesty and flexible approach, but what moved me most were her thoughtful gestures. After my first miscarriage, she personally called to check on me. We often felt hopeless and thought we would never become pregnant, but we eventually succeeded! Dr. Chilvers is dedicated, kind, and resolute. During difficult moments, she stands beside you and communicates disappointing news constructively. She is not only highly skilled; her entire team is exceptional. Their expertise and the reassurance they gave me were unlike anything I experienced at other clinics. Infertility is difficult, but Dr. Chilvers and her team brought hope.

    I cannot praise this clinic enough. Dr. Goldstein and his team are amazing! I spent much of this year here and will never forget everyone I met. Dr. Goldstein is a miracle worker.     The entire process was terrible. 1. The insurance, billing, and finance teams operate separately and do not communicate. 2. Patients are left to navigate and resolve everything themselves. 3. It is difficult to reach anyone, especially finance, and they are incompetent and unhelpful. I wish I could go back and choose another provider.

    I wish I could give zero or negative stars. They care only about your money, not you! My IUI was supposed to be performed by Jerald Goldstein, M.D., but he never appeared at any point. Even after I filed a formal complaint, I have received no response or explanation from Dr. Goldstein. The entire clinic is unprofessional and highly unethical. They blamed the patient for the failed procedure instead of accepting responsibility for staff errors. I have reported them to the Texas Medical Board.

    I am very happy with the care and treatment that I received from Dr. Chilvers and Fertility Specialists of Texas! Dr.Chilvers is very knowledgeable and treated us very well. We were able to become pregnant with our twin miracle babies after just about 6 months with FST. We are very happy and looking forward to a healthy pregnancy now that we’ve graduated from the clinic. Cynthia is also a very empathetic and skilled care coordinator! I always felt comfortable asking her questions, and she always called when she said she would. Everyone was so kind and supportive at the Plano office. Thank you to Dr. Chilvers and her team! The only issues we had were with some inconsistency with the financial department and insurance verification teams. Overall, I would still recommend FST!

    Do not go here! It was a nightmare that made an already physically and emotionally exhausting treatment process even worse. Their teams operate separately—insurance authorization, billing, finance, administration, and clinical—and the finance team is extremely difficult to reach. Alexis G and Sadie were assigned as my financial coordinators, but their negligence forced us to postpone our treatment cycle. Despite repeated emails and portal messages, they refused to respond or provide reasonable customer service to a patient paying thousands of dollars for a single cycle. I escalated the matter to a manager, but Kiana in billing also completely ignored us. Overall, it was an appalling experience, and I will change providers. Please choose a different provider.

    Bad patient service on everything I try to request the medical record online and they say it will take 24 hours to the processing. Nothing happened. I give a call. Someone say that there’s a lady responsible for that and he give her my phone number and I haven’t received no callback so it’s really bad patience service I wish whoever ever see this review just to teach the people who worked there how to take care of patients

    (Continued) While I was in the emergency room, the attending physician told me I needed to contact my fertility doctor as soon as possible. The physician also told me that the nurse performing the ultrasound had found a huge fibroid in my abdomen, and they were surprised that my fertility doctor had allowed me to complete the entire process without surgery. To clarify, the emergency physician did not tell me directly at the time, but based on the information on my discharge papers, I was most likely miscarrying. I did not understand this then, and the emergency physician believed my specialist was the best person to explain it. The day after the emergency visit, I called the clinic because of severe pain. The person who answered told me there was nothing they could do and that I could take Tylenol if the pain was unbearable. They said the doctor could not do anything in this situation either. I took Tylenol, but the pain worsened every hour. The abdominal pain was excruciating, and I could not walk or sleep. I was frightened and did not know whether Dr. Goldstein should examine me or whether I should return to the emergency room. Because the pain was so severe, we decided to go to the clinic for an urgent evaluation, but our doctor was not there that day. While waiting, I became dizzy and nauseated. I did not want to vomit in front of everyone, so I ran to the bathroom. In the bathroom, I began bleeding and used several sanitary pads. I was then told that another doctor on duty that day could see me. When I came out of the bathroom, that doctor examined me immediately. The doctor performed an ultrasound, confirmed there was no fetal heartbeat, and told me to go home and miscarry naturally. I went home, and the pain continued for two days until the bleeding would not stop and we decided to return to the emergency room. While waiting there again, I lost so much blood that I could not stand and could barely speak. I was finally taken to a room and given strong pain medication because the miscarriage was still ongoing. That night, I was fortunate to have the best nurse. She was like an angel, staying with me until I passed most of the remaining tissue and was no longer in pain. This was one of the worst things I have ever experienced. The clinic never contacted me afterward and only billed me $350 for the emergency visit, which I did not mind paying. The only reason I am writing this review is that my recovery took a very long time, and I believe the doctor was negligent in allowing us to begin this long journey when a myomectomy should have been the priority. I am not writing this to disparage the clinic. I genuinely want to remind everyone to ask more questions and not simply accept everything they are told. I know not everyone has a bad experience, but in our case, this truly says a great deal about the clinic.

When I called to schedule an appointment, new patient coordinator Miranda J. answered. She listened patiently to my concerns and reassured me, helping me feel better prepared to face the challenges of infertility. As many people know, this is an emotional journey! Miranda was very kind and made the entire call feel warm and welcoming. It is rare to feel that an employee cares so deeply about the patients they speak with.     Had an out-of-state provider order semen collection prior to chemotherapy— I also live in Dallas. Went and did the duty. Was told analysis takes 1-2 business days. 4+ weeks passed, no follow-up, no phone calls, and they claim they “faxed it over.” No portal access, refused to share results, and no information on whether I need follow-up collections prior to chemotherapy (which could cause permanent infertility) for a viable bank. Completely shut off during a very sensitive and emotional process. Every time I would call, I would reach a person named “Alex” who would deflect to the ordering physician. I even asked to see one of their physicians to streamline this process; I was refused. I have commercial PPO insurance coverage, and this is covered. They didn’t bother to ensure the fax was received. They only cited what I believe was a fax receipt. Unacceptable patient care. If you are undergoing chemotherapy or a fertility-affecting treatment, please seek collection and banking at another location.

    The worst place—do not go. Their service is terrible, and they do not explain the process at all. The staff had no patience. My wife had recurring infections for two months, but they showed no concern and offered no help. We finally had to ask to see our family doctor, who ultimately helped us. My wife was in severe pain during her HSG and other tests. Dr. Rebecca kept her waiting 30 minutes during the HSG. It felt like they were wasting patients’ health, emotions, and time. It was the first time I saw my wife cry. I cannot understand how a female doctor could treat a woman facing fertility issues this way.

    From the first day of my IVF journey at this clinic, I felt the team’s exceptional support. Their expertise and dedication helped us have the most perfect baby boy, and I could not be more grateful! I left another clinic because of insurance issues, and I am so glad we made that decision. Texas Fertility Specialists was better organized, and communication with the staff was seamless, which gave me great peace of mind throughout a time-sensitive process. Dr. Chilvers was very thorough and explained everything in detail to my husband and me. She was practical and direct. Although I was sometimes confused, she always listened carefully to my needs and allowed me to participate in a treatment plan I was comfortable with. She prayed for us after every transfer, which was incredibly warm and moving. I highly recommend her because she will do everything she can to help answer your prayers! Hadley was our nurse coordinator and truly the star of the clinic—I do not know what I would have done without her. No matter how small my question or complaint, she did everything she could to answer thoroughly and made me feel like more than just another patient. You can feel her passion for her patients and their individual journeys. Her compassion and attention made me feel truly understood and valued, and I am deeply grateful. Kristen performed most of my ultrasounds, and I will never forget her kindness and encouragement throughout the process. Even during my transfer and at other appointments without an ultrasound, she would stop by to comfort and encourage me. She helped me stay hopeful on the hardest days, and I am so grateful for her unfailing positivity and cheerful attitude. You will be very lucky if she performs your exam! I met several phlebotomists, but Bella, Tiffany, and Alex stood out because they made me feel like more than just a patient. I truly appreciate how they stayed positive through what seemed like endless lab work and cared for me when I felt low. They played an essential role throughout the process, and I felt fortunate to receive their kindness and professionalism. If you are considering a clinic and still have any doubts, I highly recommend Dr. Chilvers and her team. They provide exceptional medical care and make you feel that you are not alone. They made me feel cared for, supported, and understood, which meant so much to my husband and me. We would definitely choose them again if needed.     My care and the care of our embryos were mismanaged at every level, from Dr. Skora to finance, third-party coordination, and even embryology. Because of communication failures, a "segmental" graded embryo with strong survival potential was destroyed against my wishes, and there were many other errors in the care and treatment I received. I do not know why we were treated differently and had such a negative outcome. Be very cautious, and if you notice any warning signs, find another provider immediately. I should have.

    This review is long overdue. I look at my baby, who is now almost six months old, and still cannot believe how lucky I am to be her mother. Do yourself a favor and see Dr. Skora and his team now. I was so spoiled by the amazing care I received that I was genuinely sad to graduate. Dr. Skora is one of the most knowledgeable, compassionate, and effective doctors I have ever met. I researched extensively before choosing a clinic and doctor and came here specifically for Dr. Skora. He exceeded my expectations. His team also deserves praise for doing an excellent job coordinating your care and answering any and all questions during IVF.

    I am currently a patient of Dr. Patel and will soon begin IVF. I am now questioning whether I should continue at FST. I have already encountered many warning signs: staff do not provide enough information, return my calls, or answer my emails. I wish they would put themselves in our position and realize how stressful it is when we do not hear back. Taking 5 minutes to return a call or email is important. This is poor service. We patients are the reason they have jobs, and this is how they treat us? I am seriously considering finding another professional clinic that handles matters at a higher standard.

    We absolutely love Dr. Patel! The problem is that the financial team cannot submit a simple claim, so we will be going to Fertility Specialists of Dallas-Fort Worth. If they cannot submit a simple claim, you may have difficulty getting medications and other items requiring approval on time. We will advise our colleagues at Disney and General Motors to avoid this place. If you pay entirely out of pocket, this place should be fine. If you have any fertility coverage in addition to your primary medical insurance, such as WIN used by Disney, I recommend going elsewhere. They use a third-party answering service, which creates a barrier when you need answers under cycle-related time constraints. As a registered nurse, I feel responsible for advocating for others. My final advice is that if you need PGT-A, meaning embryo biopsy and testing, remember that your insurer requires prior authorization even if you must pay upfront, so you can be reimbursed if you have fertility coverage.     I have been a patient of Dr. Patel twice. During my first round four years ago, I had a wonderful experience with the staff and physician. I am now pregnant, and my issue is with billing. In early 2024, I received a laboratory bill for more than $1,000 for testing performed in 2023. I tried several times to contact them through the portal but received no response. I called to express concern about the lack of response and felt pushed aside because I was no longer a patient. Although the employee sounded concerned and asked me to forward the bill, I still received no reply. Someone emailed a day or two later to ask about it, and I said no one had contacted or responded to me. I just sent another email and am sure I will not receive a response, though I bet they will reply to this review. IVF is already expensive and stressful. Trying to resolve an unexpected bill during pregnancy makes it worse. Although I love my doctor and the care he provided, we will not return with the team they currently have.

    Although I do think Dr. Patel is knowledgeable, the office is nice, and the team is kind, this was an enormous waste of money for me. I conceived my first child in 2023 after adjusting my thyroid and prolactin levels. When I went to Dr. Patel to conceive my second child, I explained my history, what worked before, and that I only wanted to get those levels in range. He held the consultation without my previous laboratory results and tried to convince me that IVF was the only option. After testing, receiving my previous records, and meeting again, he told me I could not become pregnant without IVF. I was very skeptical because I had conceived successfully just over a year earlier, but I was cautious because everything he showed me indicated I needed IVF. It devastated me emotionally because IVF is difficult both financially and physically. In the second month, I found out I had conceived naturally. No IVF, IUI, ovulation induction, or anything else. My prolactin and thyroid levels had not even normalized because I had not yet taken medication. This place put me through an emotional ordeal, with everyone claiming I needed IVF and trying to make more money from me. I am now five months pregnant entirely naturally. Do not see Dr. Patel unless you are willing to write a check for thousands of dollars even when it is unnecessary. Extremely questionable medical practice.

    I never write reviews, but if you are new to this process as I was, I feel I need to warn people. Every step was terrible. Dr. Patel was kind during my first phone consultation, but even after I explained why I wanted IUI, he aggressively pushed IVF as though it were the only option, which was not true for my situation. No one could answer questions, although as a first-time patient I needed guidance. They rarely answered the phone; when they did, they promised a callback, but 9 out of 10 times it never came. The office was completely disorganized. I made several trips of more than an hour only to learn they had scheduled the wrong procedure, that it could not be performed, or that I was there only for bloodwork. Over three months, repeated blood tests were all this office did, no information came from them, and I never even met the doctor. They seemed interested only in money. They scheduled and charged me, then I heard nothing. My last straw was taking time off work for a procedure that my new fertility clinic says was unnecessary, although this office insisted I had to do it. Because earlier trips had been wasted, I called that morning to confirm. They assured me it would happen, but after I arrived they again told me to return later—after taking $354 that they said could not be refunded that day, less than 5 minutes after payment. Two months later, I am still waiting for the refund and cannot get a callback. They repeatedly tell me to wait 30 days for approval and repayment. The place seems suspicious and like a scam. The only positive thing I can say is that the front-desk staff I spoke with were very kind. Please be cautious and look elsewhere, especially if this is your first experience and you do not know what you need, because they will charge you without giving proper guidance. I wasted hundreds of dollars and months at this clinic. My new fertility doctor completed insemination within one month, without unnecessary appointments, and provided excellent care and guidance. They communicated clearly, supported me throughout the process, and answered my questions. When I had an emergency, he responded promptly with timely, effective, and professional medical care and gave me tremendous encouragement. He also provided scientific statistics on the treatment options appropriate for me.     Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Patel for supporting me while I struggled to convince doctors. My former OB-GYN wanted to perform a hysterectomy for my fibroids and did not support my wish to have children. After I shared this with Dr. Patel, he connected me with a specialist in Dallas. Dr. Choi performed a successful myomectomy. He recommended acupuncture and supplements to prepare for pregnancy and created a protocol alongside the main IVF treatment. The Southlake team is the best. They were kind and always asked whether I had questions before each visit ended. Katie, thank you for your help and support. Thank you Lauren, Kenzie, Jessica, Jasi, and every staff member I could not name. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and I was fortunate that it also took a village to create mine.     I am completely fed up with this clinic. After we told the doctor we would not pursue IVF there because it was too expensive, they essentially abandoned us. I called to schedule a test ordered by an out-of-state clinic, CNY Fertility, which they also offer, but they refused because CNY ordered it. Now Quest says I owe nearly $1,000 for laboratory work because the doctor failed to provide a referral/authorization, so insurance will not cover it. I have called more than ten times seeking help, but every transfer goes unanswered. I left voicemails and emailed the address customer service provided, with no response. Today I called to ask whether they offer sperm fragmentation testing. The representative did not know and tried calling someone. Nobody answered—as usual—so he said he would request a callback. During the call, he also messaged finance about my laboratory bill, and again, nobody responded! The representative was kind and tried to help; that is the only positive thing I can say. I asked about DNA fragmentation testing because we have been patients here and wanted it done quickly. Now I believe we should go elsewhere even if they offer the service we need.

    Although I cannot say enough good things about the doctor I met—she was knowledgeable, professional, and deeply impressive—the overall clinic experience was unfortunately very disappointing. I spent more than three weeks trying to obtain basic information, including IVF pricing and procedures, but never received clear answers. Communication was inconsistent throughout, and sometimes nonexistent. The clinic relies heavily on a third-party call center, which made scheduling and obtaining information extremely difficult. I scheduled several meetings with the financial team, but no one attended. These meetings were later rescheduled without confirming my availability, only for the same issue to occur again. Phone communication was also very difficult. Calls frequently disconnected, no one called back, and it was hard to reach anyone who could provide accurate information. The online portal was no better. My questions were either unanswered or ignored; although they replied, they clearly avoided simple questions such as, 'Is the financial meeting by phone or Zoom?' or 'Has your team received my medical records?' They made no proactive effort to help me. This was very concerning because I was looking for a new provider, and I expected them to want to make a good impression. I encountered similar issues during my clinic visit. No one greeted me when I arrived, and the front desk staff seemed distracted, creating a very unwelcoming first impression. This is a significant emotional investment, and patients deserve clear communication and a thoughtful, organized care experience. Although I greatly appreciated the doctor, the staff's lack of responsiveness and coordination ultimately led me to choose another provider.

    The worst-run clinic I have ever seen. The front desk has no idea what it is doing. The finance team will not even provide itemized receipts. They refuse to obtain laboratory results. It takes days and repeated calls to reach someone. Terrible customer service. The only good thing about this place is access to medication and monitoring. Absolutely terrible business!

    If you want a caring team that treats you like family... go elsewhere. If you want a team that communicates regularly... go elsewhere. If you want quality information about IVF finances... go elsewhere. I specifically followed my IVF doctor, Dr. Phy, to this clinic so I could work with her. My experience with FST left me unimpressed and increasingly discouraged, and ultimately caused us to stop pursuing IVF. I was supposed to begin a cycle on April 1, but poor communication, FST's failure to take responsibility, and rudeness prevented us from starting as planned. Knowing April 1 was the expected date, I began contacting them in November 2023 to ensure everything was ready. My husband's employer provided $20,000 in IVF coverage, which we knew was a blessing. In late November, I worked to transfer all records to FST and repeatedly asked about next steps. They either did not respond or said, ‘That is in April; we will worry about it then.’ In late January 2024, we submitted an authorization form to insurance to determine our out-of-pocket cost. From January through March, when I reported the start of my period, I heard nothing. They gave me an IVF schedule, then I received a frantic call from finance. The authorization had never been submitted and would take 15 to 20 business days. I would not know my cost until approval, leaving only days to raise the $2,000 to $4,000 due by April 1 or lose the cycle. Producing $4,000 within days was impossible for us. I immediately requested a payment plan; they do not offer one. I obtained substantial CareCredit approval; they do not accept it. I did everything possible, but despite their failures there was no flexibility. The financial manager I spoke with in January emailed an ‘approximate’ amount, accused me of being financially unprepared, and claimed I had always known they would not submit the authorization form. In mid-March, their office called to say we could not proceed because they lacked my records. After actually checking, they found the 300 pages I had sent on November 29. I repeatedly asked to speak with a director and never heard from anyone. One employee promised to investigate immediately and respond; that was three weeks ago, and I heard nothing. It was a nightmare from day one. Only Nikki and one other person showed compassion. Otherwise, I made countless calls, waited 20 or 30 minutes, and was transferred to voicemail, sometimes without even being able to leave a message. I wish I could warn more people to avoid FST. It was one of my worst experiences with a medical office/clinic that should care for and support patients already facing the difficult path of infertility. I did not want to post a review, but their severe lack of care and attention left me no choice.

    I had to visit this office for a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) ordered by my reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Phy, whom I really like. Dr. Dorsett was kind and explained everything she was doing during the procedure. Some staff members, however, were very rude. I arrived with my daughter and mother, unaware that children were not allowed. Instead of politely explaining the rule, they spoke rudely, and a nurse said with a slight smirk, ‘There is a sign on the door.’ I admit I saw something posted but did not read it, so that was my mistake, but the situation could have been handled differently. The same rude nurse took my vital signs without any warmth. Given their field, I would expect the clinic to be more considerate toward patients. I would rather drive to Dallas than return and deal with staff like this. I am glad this is not my fertility clinic.

    I worked with this clinic in 2022–2023. Poor management repeatedly lost track of treatment progress, causing delays and omissions. They kept performing pointless procedures such as IUI despite male-factor infertility with a count of only 3 million, making success nearly impossible. The doctors and staff were not trustworthy.

    Communication is poor, and the price increases with every appointment. Quotes are always wrong, and if treatment fails, they tell you to pay and try again without considering whether you can afford their expensive care. Worse, the staff act like amateurs during procedures and make only their best guess based on your answers. You should try elsewhere instead of wasting money here.

We drove two hours, and despite the distance, Dr. Dorsett and her team made the trip completely worthwhile, even though I could have had surgery closer to home. I have so much love and gratitude for everyone there. From the moment my husband and I entered, we strongly felt, “This is where we are meant to be” and “This is really happening.” The uplifting music at the entrance reinforced that belief.     For God's sake, do not go to this clinic. Fertility is a sensitive subject, but this clinic only cares about money. We left disappointed every time. They charged a $900 physician fee simply because she was there... God willing, we will never return. They also do not review medical records. Allergic reactions and incorrect treatment items left us paying for nothing. It was outrageous.

    I just want to share the wonderful experience I had this morning. I went in for a minor procedure, but because it was my first time under anesthesia, I was extremely nervous despite my age. I previously encountered another doctor who made me feel ashamed of my anxiety about anesthesia. But this morning, I nearly ran into the anesthesiologist, and I must sincerely thank Brooke, Emily, who administered my anesthesia, and Ashley in the operating room. The three of you gave me tremendous strength through your kindness and support. As a patient, I could not ask for more, and I believe I will be able to manage any future procedures.     Stay away. I mean, do not use this company under any circumstances. I had cancer and wanted to preserve semen. I arrived on time, but no one was in the office for more than an hour. They were busy in the back for over an hour without even checking the crowded lobby. Then they led me through an abandoned room full of clutter to a dirty bathroom and told me to collect urine in a cup. What happened next was the worst part. After collecting the urine, no one took it. They had me walk around holding the urine cup in one hand and the semen cup in the other, then took me into a closed laboratory containing other patients' samples. No one told me what to do or how to handle my urine and semen samples. I could not believe it. If I ever used my sample, I could not be certain it was mine, and the situation made me deeply uncomfortable about every previous patient. I paid for one year of storage on the spot. That was all. When I asked about ongoing storage, they said they would destroy the sample if I did not pay, which was exactly what I wanted. I did not need the sample and did not use their services for three years. They suddenly sent more than $1,000 in charges to collections, even though they had said they would terminate the service. Instead, they manipulated the situation, kept rather than destroyed the sample, forced charges on me, and put me in debt. They cannot be trusted. If you have used their services, you may want to have your child undergo DNA testing.

    I graduated from FST today. Although I am very excited, I have to admit that I will really miss Dr. Dorsett and all the wonderful women here. I began treatment at FST in October 2025. I already had a plan because I knew IVF was the best option for our situation. Dr. Dorsett listened carefully to all my concerns and gave me a great deal of reassurance. We were completely on the same page. She and her team are incredibly kind and excellent. My husband also appreciated and genuinely liked them.     I was referred by my doctor because I have ovaries of a 55 year old woman and I'm only 33. My doctor sent me because they are great at knowing a womans body and she said they would help me get my body on track to conceive. They called me saying they won't be taking me or helping me because I want to conceive the natural way and I am not doing their program. How sad, I thought this was a place to help woman have babies but this is just a scam place that just wants your money. They don't really care about woman here! I would never recommend going!

    First, I would normally never leave a negative review, but I hope this will finally get someone to call me back. I have experienced nothing but frustration with this place. I had one appointment and will never return. To begin with, nothing during the scheduling or confirmation process indicated that they were inside a building marked “Dermatology.” When I called for directions, the person who answered dismissively said that she did not know and had never been there because she worked at another location. She also said she could not transfer me to anyone at the location I was trying to find. After I found their suite, the doctor rushed in and out after my procedure, showed no clinical manner, did not introduce himself, and did not answer any questions before or after the procedure. He was not gentle at all. Since then, I have received numerous text messages about the patient portal and an outstanding balance with their office. I tried to pay by phone and online. The patient portal requires a username I do not have because I never received an email from them. I tried registering on their website and received a message that the office would confirm it. When I clicked to request my username, the form was blank. The phone number included in the text reminders belongs to a private individual, who told me they were not associated with the office. This means I left my name, phone number, and details with a stranger. Their limited hours and days mean I must leave a voicemail while at work and wait for a return call to resolve this so I can finish dealing with them. This was a terrible experience for someone going through a sensitive situation.

    It took us more than ten years to conceive, but three years ago we decided to take a chance and consult Dr. Skora. His expertise and reassuring manner gave me hope and confidence that I was receiving good care. My son is now two years old, happy and healthy—all thanks to him. Recently, we began one final attempt to have another child through IVF. I am now in my second trimester with my daughter, proof that God's miracles can work through devoted doctors like Dr. Skora. If I have one regret about the entire process, it is waiting so long to seek answers from a specialist like him.

    I have been with FST and Dr. Skora for about a year. This is the best FST office and location! Because we live in the Lake Ray Hubbard area, the commute is very convenient, especially when I have early-morning injections. Dr. Skora is a doctor we can trust completely, and he addresses all our questions. At the first consultation, he walked us through the entire process very clearly and answered all our questions. I understand that people have different opinions, but even after our first transfer failed, we were glad to discuss the next steps at the follow-up. I never even considered changing doctors. We had 3 egg retrievals with him, and we are happy that we can move on to the transfer stage. I am so glad I trusted Dr. Skora 😀 Hayley is always at the front desk, and I can feel her warmth. She works very quickly and answered all my questions. I am glad I never had any issues with payment or insurance 😀 I am not someone who likes blood draws. With IVF treatment, you have to deal with them...MA Alondra is a professional. I trust her 120%, so I have no stress or anxiety about it. She is also very attentive when I ask her about other requirements before an ultrasound. Nurse Amber is the best nurse I have had in my 10 years in the United States. She is very gentle, and because she has experience with egg donation, she is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Talking with her brought me relief while dealing with the emotional roller coaster! She is also one reason I like going to the Rockwall location. The Rockwall office feels different from other FST locations. They are like your family and cheerleaders ★ Everyone's IVF journey is unique. Some people are fortunate to become pregnant after 1 treatment, while others, like me, need more time. Wherever you are in your journey, they are always there for you and take care of you.     We are so grateful to Dr. Skora and his team for making our dream come true. For 10 years, we prayed and hoped for a family. After one egg retrieval and one transfer, we became pregnant. The entire process went smoothly. Amber was so kind during my ultrasounds, and the Rockwall clinical and front-desk staff were encouraging and supportive. My coordinator, Vicky, was a blessing. Her organization, patience, and reassuring words eased my anxiety, and she always responded quickly. The surgical-center nurses were angels. When only 10 eggs were retrieved, I cried in disappointment, and they supported and encouraged me. Ultimately, 8 fertilized and survived to day 5, far exceeding the statistics. The embryologists gave our embryos tremendous care and attention, and we appreciate their attention to detail.     ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I went to Fertility Specialists of Texas in Rockwall, and from the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel welcome, especially Halie, who always greeted me with a smile. Medical assistant Alondra was warm and reassuring; nurse practitioner Amber was like a sister at the clinic, supporting and encouraging me and always being there when I needed her. My coordinator Madison also kept everything organized and stress-free. The financial department was equally excellent. Whenever I had a billing question or was unsure about a cost, they promptly returned my calls and took time to explain the pricing, process, and payment details so I always felt informed. My journey at FST began with a few difficulties due to early communication issues, but once everything was clarified, things improved quickly, and I am glad I chose them. Dr. Skora is amazing: knowledgeable, patient, and precise with his medical advice. Cynthia and Vicky worked closely with me throughout treatment. They were kind and compassionate and made me feel genuinely supported at every step. What I appreciated most was that they selected the right treatment plan and medications for me. Communication was always open, and they encouraged me to share my thoughts and concerns, working with me to find the best plan. Even when deciding on embryo transfer, Dr. Skora recommended a frozen rather than fresh embryo transfer. I was hesitant at first, but I trusted his medical judgment, and he was completely right that a frozen embryo transfer was best for me. I began my journey in January, worked toward the weight-loss goal they set for me, completed my egg retrieval in June, and had my embryo transfer on July 8. Today, I am thrilled to announce that I am pregnant, we heard the heartbeat, and I have officially graduated from the clinic to prenatal care.     This was absolutely the best experience of my life. From the beginning, everyone at Fertility Specialists of Texas gave me constant support, encouragement, and positivity. My excellent coordinator, Vicki, helped me immensely. She patiently explained every step and answered all my questions. She always replied promptly to my online messages and followed up proactively. Vicki was very warm and friendly. Everyone at the Rockwall clinic was wonderful. I have never met a team that was so supportive and happy for me.     I truly love the Rockwall clinic, entirely because of its exceptional team. Hallie at the front desk is warm and friendly. She always remembers my name and greets me warmly, which truly matters during a difficult time. Medical assistant Alondra is very kind and thoughtful, and nurse Amber is wonderful. They always ask how I am feeling, which means so much to a woman undergoing IVF. This is not easy for women, and having compassionate, courteous, attentive care professionals makes everything much easier to manage. I am very grateful and highly recommend this clinic to anyone receiving fertility care. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism!

    Communication here is not very good, and I felt even more confused. However, many nurses were very kind. Despite being sent back and forth, I still hope they can communicate better with patients.

    We love Dr. Chilvers! She is absolutely wonderful. Given all the medical precautions we had previously taken, she and her team cared for us exceptionally well. Everyone at the clinic is outstanding. They genuinely care about you and remember you. I would recommend this clinic and team without hesitation. Brooke, the egg retrieval coordinator, is also one of the kindest and most wonderful people we have met. She was willing to go above and beyond for us at any hour. Her care and thoughtfulness are truly first-rate. If we could give this clinic 100 stars, they would deserve every one.     I initially went to FST to prepare for IVF but became pregnant naturally. Although I ultimately did not undergo IVF, Dr. Chilvers still provided exceptional care during early pregnancy. She performed all necessary tests and closely monitored my progress until I graduated at 8 weeks. I greatly appreciate her thorough, attentive care and support. She also patiently explained the possible treatment options in detail. The clinic was efficient, and all recommended tests were scheduled quickly to keep everything on track. I am very grateful for the care I received and highly recommend Dr. Chilvers and the FST team.

    Do not go to this place. Their billing department deeply disappointed me. They billed my insurance incorrectly, and the issue remained unresolved for almost a year. They would not respond to any inquiry. I tried email, phone calls, and their internal messaging platform but received no response. Eventually, they sent the balance to collections, yet there was still no follow-up or accountability. I even contacted their billing supervisor, Garcie, several times without success.

    I will always be grateful to Dr. Chilvers and her team! God worked through her to help us conceive our miracle baby, Promise! She prayed for me after surgery and always does everything possible to help women become pregnant. Amazing!!

    I was fortunate to find Fertility Specialists of Texas for my infertility treatment. My husband and I chose Dr. Rebecca Chilvers, who was always positive and helpful. She guided us through every necessary process and procedure. Although we faced some setbacks, we did not give up. We later froze embryos and prepared to start our family. We welcomed our first child in 2022 and our second in 2025. Her help, support, and encouragement early in treatment ultimately led to our success.

    She did an excellent job on my tubal ligation reversal. I became pregnant on my first attempt after surgery and now have a 7-month-old child. She and her staff are wonderful people. If you need a tubal ligation reversal, I highly recommend them.

    Dr. Chilvers and my IVF coordinator Hadley are absolutely the best! Everyone at the clinic is always so kind and creates a wonderful experience. I received frequent calls with updates, and Hadley always answered all my questions without judgment, even when they seemed silly.
