Update: I finally reached a doctor. Scheduling is the most frustrating part of this clinic, but once you are established, the nurses and staff are good, and the overall experience is decent. I was previously a patient, but after both doctors left, I was somehow treated as a new patient and placed in the unbearable new-patient queue. You cannot speak to a doctor, only leave messages. For weeks, nobody contacted me despite my messages and several referrals from my OB-GYN. This is unacceptable. Previously, testing was scheduled incorrectly and delayed treatment another month. I returned only because my insurance covers this clinic.

The most caring, thoughtful nursing team! My monitoring appointments were convenient and quick, and I received exceptional care. Highly recommended.

My experience with Dr. Bakken-Sen has been excellent so far, and the front desk staff and phlebotomists are extremely friendly. They reassure me despite my anxiety about infertility and women's health. When my prescription had a problem, they helped immediately, which I greatly appreciated. They even helped me obtain supplements through food where possible, which matters greatly to me. Everything has gone well so far. The reviews below confuse me because my first visit was excellent and follow-up was prompt!

While I was traveling out of state for work, there was a problem with one of my ovarian stimulation injections. Nurse Dawn went above and beyond to help me, and I am very grateful for her kindness and assistance in resolving the issue. Thank you, Dawn!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I stayed with this clinic for seven years for family planning, but the overall experience was terrible. The nursing staff were cold and always called near the end of the workday while demanding an immediate response, and there were constant technical problems. During the transfer, I received no communication at all, including while I held a full bladder for two hours. Even worse, they tried to transfer my embryos in a container that Boston IVF would not accept. An absolutely terrible experience.

For more than ten years, I struggled with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) but received little help or few answers from other doctors. I recently met Dr. Jen Bakensen, and she has been a godsend! In just one visit, she showed tremendous compassion and patience, put me at ease, and gave me information I had never received in all these years. She took my concerns seriously, ordered comprehensive testing, and gave me hope of finding answers. For the first time in years, I feel reassured because I have finally found a doctor who truly listens and cares. I highly recommend her!

If this is the same woman from Topsham Family Medicine, run. She knew for months that I had leukemia but never told me; I learned from another doctor.
