The website information is poor. I wanted to fax a patient referral for an appointment, but no one at the practice knew the rheumatology clinic’s fax number. They kept giving us phone numbers that were not fax numbers and belonged to other clinics. Completely unhelpful.

The second-floor desk provides terrible service. The older woman checking patients in failed to register me for my second appointment with the same doctor, and I waited in the waiting area for over an hour while patients who arrived after me came and went. I saw late patients told they were late but still seen. The third time I stood up to complain about the long wait, I learned they had marked me as a “no call, no show” and canceled my appointment because of the receptionist’s mistake. I had checked in 10 minutes before my infusion appointment, yet they only saw me after canceling it. During my entire infusion, a woman sat in the infusion area talking loudly on the phone and no nurse asked her to hang up. At my second appointment, an accident made me arrive beyond the stated 15-minute grace period by 12 minutes. I then had to wait in a long check-in line with only two receptionists. I reached the desk at 9:29, and when she called the infusion area they had marked me as a “no-show.” I acknowledge that I was late, but they offered no courtesy despite my prior history with them. I wanted a referral from this company, and members of my family also work for it. As a person of color, this was disappointing but expected. A white woman with the same 9 a.m. appointment arrived just as late or later and was given ample grace. Message received. I will take my insurance elsewhere and make sure this review has an impact.

I wish I could give zero stars! The second-floor front desk is terrible, especially Esteban! I have never received worse service. It takes months to schedule a new-patient visit, and because I waited 15 minutes before anyone came, they removed me from the schedule and said I had not shown up. This place needs better service and better staff.

Orthopedics at 3030 Westchester Avenue is terrible and has no regard for privacy. The nurses come into the waiting area and ask patients questions where everyone can hear. I asked to speak privately, and the woman was extremely rude. I have never been treated so poorly. HIPPA exists for a reason. I heard another patient say the same thing. I like Westmed, but this department needs improvement.

I waited nearly three months to see Dr. Ali. The appointment reminder listed 3030 Westchester Avenue, but entering that address in Google Maps leads to the wrong location (see screenshot!). I ended up at the wrong place, which was also a medical building, and realized the mistake only after 10 minutes. I called the office, drove to the correct location, and arrived 16 minutes late. Although this was caused by a known address error, the staff were rude and unpleasant. They made me wait 15 minutes before telling me the doctor would not see me that day and that I had to reschedule for another month and a half later. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had completed bloodwork days earlier, arranged childcare, and spent extra time in traffic because I do not live nearby. It is unacceptable for the practice to know about this address problem yet do nothing to correct it or provide accurate directions. I hope Summit Health resolves it so other patients’ time is not wasted.

I am surprised to see so many negative reviews. Everyone I encountered in the lobby and on the third floor was very friendly and welcoming. I waited only two minutes before my name was called and I was taken to an exam room. My only complaint was that the music in the waiting area was too loud, which is why I deducted one star.

Friendly, helpful staff.

Ample parking, easy access near I-287, bright lighting, no wait, plenty of seating, and specialists are always on time. The clinic, including the restrooms, is clean. There is a café serving food and drinks, and appointments are easy to schedule.

I had a very poor experience with the front desk at this physical therapy clinic. The staff member I encountered was dismissive and repeatedly interrupted me, making communication extremely difficult. Professionalism and basic respect should be expected in a medical setting. Instead, the interaction made me so uncomfortable that I ultimately left without receiving help. Management should seriously review front-desk conduct and customer-service standards. First impressions matter, and this experience alone was enough for me not to return.

Grace came here, but Dr. Yue in rheumatology did not see her.

I received and replied to the confirmation message. It took me 20 minutes to get there, and I had taken a day off for the appointment. On arrival, they said they did not accept my insurance. I offered to self-pay, as I had done many times before, but they refused me this year. The receptionist had no customer-service skills, and despite knowing I had a medical condition, no one was willing to help. I will never return and will tell others not to waste their time.

Everything was fine until the surgery part. There was a lot of nonsense, but I hope my surgery goes well 💯

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I have very low iron and need iron infusions, which I received 2 years ago. The doctor I saw then is no longer with the practice and I was forced to wait over 2 months to see Dr. Levin, who spent less than 5 minutes speaking to me. He clearly had not read my medical records and asked me questions that he would have known if he had taken 2 minutes to look through my records. He then proceeded to tell me that low iron was not causing my fatigue, despite the fact that this is not the first time I am dealing with this issue. On top of that, I walked out of the appointment without any appointment for an infusion. Dr. Levin is not able to write orders, so another doctor has to actually put in the order for the infusions, which will then be approved by my insurance, and then someone will call me to schedule the infusions. So I am no closer to getting this issue resolved than I was over 2 months ago when I first called. I have seen a lot of doctors over the years, but I have never felt so dismissed by a medical doctor. He had no interest in listening to anything I said and no interest in doing anything to resolve the issue. I have numerous doctors at Westmed/Summit Health and have generally been happy with them, but the hematology department in Purchase is horrible. Don't waste your time there.

I am very disappointed with this clinic. Its phone service is a complete waste of time and shows no respect for anyone's time. I had to call repeatedly about the same issue. Because I was transferred among different operators to “reach the right doctor,” I had to provide the same information three times. Even when the mistake was theirs, they lacked the courtesy to correct it. A patient's suffering does not matter to them. I was very satisfied with the doctors and nurses I saw. I am not surprised that many professionals leave because they are expected to prioritize quantity over quality. I also would not be surprised if many patients left, because this feels more like a fish market than a medical facility. Although they promised a same-day callback, 32 hours have passed and I still have not heard back, and now it is the weekend.

All the good doctors have left!!!! Orthopedics runs smoothly and efficiently, with wait times under 10 minutes. Physical therapy is very busy, but the team is excellent, attentive, and committed to helping every patient regain mobility. Communication with primary care physicians is almost nonexistent. My retired doctor used to call me with my test results and return my calls after I left a message, but now there are no calls or messages about bloodwork and routine test results. So I assume everything is fine.

The staff are rude, and the customer service center is a joke! Completely incompetent! The quality of care at West Med is declining rapidly! These changes are absolutely terrible. I am leaving this healthcare system. These changes seem to be telling me that I should seek care elsewhere.

The wait time was absolutely terrible. I went in for an infusion, and the nurse damaged my arm while trying to find a vein. When it was over, he yanked off the tape and pulled the catheter out with it. Now I understand why their reviews are so poor.

I am very grateful for the care I received. Dr. Alex Green consistently supported and cared for me and listened carefully to my concerns. During a stressful process like IVF, her compassion and clear communication were essential.

She is the kindest and most attentive doctor I have ever met. My husband and I struggled with miscarriages for several years. We tried everything to identify the cause, and Dr. Green always listened patiently and was willing to consider any request or suggestion I made. She is very thoughtful, always makes you feel comfortable, and never rushes through appointments. During our long IVF journey, she and her team became like family. I highly recommend her. This journey was extremely difficult, and having her as our doctor greatly reduced our stress. We recently graduated and returned to my OB-GYN, and I am sorry she can no longer be my doctor.
