Dr. Erin M. Masaba, United States
Erin Masaba, MD, joined the Strong Fertility Center at the University of Rochester School of Medicine after completing a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, one of the leading IVF centers in the United States. Dr. Masaba completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Masaba is medical director of the Strong Fertility Center IVF laboratory.
Dr. Masaba has received several notable awards and honors, including the Circle of Innovators Research Award, Eleanor Dixon White Manuscript Award, Dean’s Letter of Commendation for Outstanding Academic Achievement, Student-Faculty Association Scholarship, and Reed Scholarship.
Dr. Masaba is a member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SCE), New York Reproductive Society (NYRS), a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASC).
Dr. Masaba brings extensive experience to Strong Fertility Center and focuses on helping couples with recurrent pregnancy loss and failed IVF implantation. She currently serves as vice chair of the ASC Early Pregnancy Loss Special Interest Group.
