Dr. Yauger joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in July of 2021 as the Division Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She obtained a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Florida and her M.D. at Washington University School of Medicine. She completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, MD and then continued to a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She is dual board certified in REI and OBGYN. Dr. Yauger proudly served in the U. S. Army for 20 years and completed a deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. While active duty, she served as the Army OBGYN Consultant to the Office of the Surgeon General providing leadership in Military Women’s Health. She is currently both a specialty and an REI subspecialty certifying examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as an REI Division Member at ABOG. She is a past member of the Editorial Board for Obstetrics and Gynecology and helped to write practice guidelines for the ACOG Clinical Consensus Committee as well as the Practice Committee for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She also serves on the Quality Assurance Committee for the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART) as well as the Assessment Development Subcommittee for ABOG.
