Dr. Evelyn Mok-Lin, United States
Dr. Evelyn Mok-Lin is an obstetrician, gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist who cares for people with reproductive health concerns, including infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, irregular periods and endometriosis. She serves as medical director of the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health. She has special interests in fertility issues for newly diagnosed cancer patients and cancer survivors; LGBTQIA+ health concerns; and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including treatments for congenital pelvic abnormalities (those present since birth).
Mok-Lin is a professor in the department of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences. Her research interests include assisted reproductive technologies and optimizing fertility. She also studies how environmental and genetic factors affect fertility and may cause diminished ovarian reserve (a decrease in egg quantity or quality) or early menopause.
Mok-Lin earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Harvard Medical School, training at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at New York – Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
