Dr. Evan Rosenbluth, United States
Evan Rosenbluth, MD, took an unconventional path to reproductive medicine. Combining a love of photography with a psychology degree, he worked as a photojournalist, meeting and documenting the lives of remarkable people worldwide. Seeking more tangible impact, he spent several years teaching adaptive sports to people with disabilities. While teaching on the slopes, he realized medicine was the right path. Within two weeks, he drove across the country to begin an intensive one-year postbaccalaureate program to meet medical school requirements.
He gained direct, accelerated admission to Tulane University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree and developed a passion for cooking, especially Cajun cuisine. He matched at one of the country’s busiest obstetrics and gynecology residencies, the University of Utah, where he delivered more than 1,200 babies. He received top surgical honors and research awards, leading to a patent for a new gynecologic device. At the University of Iowa’s leading reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship, he continued award-winning research and pioneered noninvasive methods of assessing embryo health. He helped launch the country’s first single-embryo transfer policy, brought the practice to RSC, and it is now a standard of care of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Today, he is a senior partner at RSC and values working with diverse patients from the Bay Area and beyond. He enjoys all aspects of reproductive care, particularly treating complex Müllerian anomalies requiring surgery and providing inclusive fertility care to people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
He uses his broad experience to connect with patients and combines evidence-based medicine with each patient’s concerns and goals. He values a team approach and develops individualized care plans to help patients achieve their goals.
Dr. Rosenbluth is RSC’s surgical director and ultrasound director. He is a senior partner and is dual board-certified in OB/GYN and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
He enjoys traveling the world with his family, meeting people, and documenting it with his camera. He practices at the San Ramon office, where his photographs hang on the walls.
