Jason S. Griffith, M.D., is a dedicated, compassionate fertility specialist board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). After six years in the U.S. Army Medical Specialist Corps, he completed his OB/GYN residency and REI training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Griffith provides individualized, empathetic care to people building their families. 

An experienced Houston-area physician, Dr. Griffith continues helping patients meet their family-building goals. He serves on the board and Physician Council of RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association as part of his commitment to making fertility care more affordable and accessible. 

Inspired by his patients’ resilience, Dr. Griffith provides care at SGF Houston’s Spring location. Outside work, he enjoys time with friends and family, sporting events, fishing, and the outdoors.

We love Dr. Griffith and Shady Grove Fertility! After poor IVF results at another clinic, we switched to Shady Grove Fertility, and the experience was completely different—and excellent. Dr. Griffith is highly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about us and our surrogate, ensuring the best possible outcome. His support team is also wonderful. They were organized and responsive throughout the process. We are now expecting a daughter in December! 😊

I am so glad we chose Dr. Shah at Shady Grove. They treated us very kindly and assured us that we could become pregnant. I am very grateful to him and his team. Our first visit was in November, and by March I was pregnant! They were not only kind but also explained every step in detail. Appointments were prompt, and I rarely had to wait. I felt very well cared for throughout and highly recommend them.

I am thrilled to share that my first IVF cycle with Dr. Shah and his team at Shady Grove Fertility was successful!!! A few hours after my blood test, I received the call that I was pregnant and burst into tears of joy. From the moment I walked into their office, I knew I had made the right decision. Although this journey is emotional and deeply personal, SGF made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for at every step. Dr. Shah is simply wonderful. His knowledge and confidence about the entire process immediately put me at ease. He explained everything clearly and always made me feel heard and respected. His manner was both professional and compassionate, and from day one I felt I was receiving the best care. I also want to sincerely thank the other members of the SGF dream team: Aylin and Yvette at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Every time I entered the clinic, they greeted me with a smile and made me feel like family rather than just a patient. My patient care coordinator, Lucinda, was amazing. She was organized, kind, and highly responsive and always made sure I knew what would happen next. Her support gave me tremendous reassurance during this time. Elizabeth in finance was very helpful. She clearly explained all the options and helped me find the financial plan best suited to my circumstances. Her honesty and thoughtfulness made a complicated process manageable. Anne performed several of my ultrasounds and operated the machine quickly and gently. She made me feel calm and relaxed at every visit. Even when I found the ultrasound difficult, she was understanding and reassuring. Brenda was wonderful during my visits. She drew my blood and checked my blood pressure and temperature. She was very gentle and friendly and made me feel calm and comfortable. I am very grateful for her care and professionalism. Brenda, thank you for taking such good care of me! Special thanks also to Amanda and Rachel, who answered all my questions—and I had many! Whenever I called, they responded quickly and made me feel valued. I never felt like a burden, even with the smallest concern. They truly went above and beyond. This experience changed my life. I was nervous and uncertain about IVF, but it ultimately brought me an extraordinary blessing. After 7 years of a childless marriage with my loving, supportive, patient husband, I am finally pregnant. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Shah and the entire SGF team for helping me realize my dream. After years of infertility, my husband and I found SGF and Dr. Jaimin Shah. He was the fourth doctor we consulted while trying to conceive. From our first appointment, he understood our struggles while giving a realistic assessment of our options and chances of success. At every later visit, Dr. Shah was kind, supportive, thoughtful, and attentive to details about us and our lives. Every staff member we met showed the same dedication—from the two front desk staff chatting with me about the waiting-room movie, to Amanda checking my vital signs, Rachel coordinating all appointments and care, and Jackie answering our many financial questions. Everyone at SGF Spring-Woodlands considered our family's needs and minimized added stress during an already stressful treatment process. We are extremely grateful that Dr. Shah provided the right plan for us. We obtained several transferable embryos, transferred our highest-grade embryo, and are now expecting our rainbow baby. Wherever I am, I will return to Dr. Shah whenever we are ready to transfer our next embryo. I highly recommend him!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shah and his team at SGF. Our initial consultation was in late April 2024, and in June 2025 we welcomed our little miracle. Anxiety delayed this review, but I want others considering SGF to know about our experience. We had previously visited another Houston-area fertility clinic that seemed interested only in money, not outcomes. SGF felt much more personal. We submitted the online form on Wednesday and had a consultation two days later. From our first visit with Dr. Shah, we felt safe and comfortable and believed he truly listened. Dr. Shah wanted to give us the best chance of conception. During imaging, he found a uterine polyp and recommended removing it. During surgery he found another abnormality; biopsy showed cervical cancer. Dr. Shah connected me with several oncologists so treatment and surgery could begin and my health could be protected. Within a week, I had MRI and CAT scans. Despite the diagnosis, I underwent egg retrieval, then a cone biopsy to remove the cancer. Once I was cleared, we proceeded with embryo transfer. We transferred an embryo in September 2024 and had a positive pregnancy test. Dr. Shah checked on me throughout pregnancy. During treatment at SGF, Rachel answered every question and responded very quickly. I am glad we chose SGF, as we made no progress at other fertility clinics. Our only negative experience involved billing with Elizabeth. We asked about a military discount and were told we qualified, but she later withdrew that statement and said we were ineligible because we joined the shared-risk program. She also refused our request to bill insurance. Regardless, Dr. Shah had a tremendous impact on our lives, and we are very grateful to him and his team.

When I transferred to Dr. Shah's clinic, I was at the lowest point in my fertility journey. After trying for two years, I had just miscarried my first pregnancy and was told IVF was essentially my only option if I wanted a child. This was devastating because I am a teacher without fertility coverage and would have to pay out of pocket, as would my husband. We transferred to Dr. Shah hoping for light at the end of the tunnel. We are so grateful we did, because he and his team went above and beyond to rekindle the little hope we had left. Dr. Shah never gave up on us. He was honest yet gentle and assured us there were other options. Thanks to Dr. Shah and IUI, I finally became pregnant. Today I graduated from the fertility clinic. I never imagined saying that. Although I am scared, I now feel more hopeful than at any point in the last two and a half years. I cannot say enough good things about his team! First are the excellent front desk staff. Aylin greeted me warmly as though she had known me for years. When I arrived, I was unsure whether my previous doctor had told them about my impending miscarriage, so I contacted Yvette. She was shocked because they had not been informed. Apart from my family, she was the first person to ask whether I was okay. She may not realize it, but that made me feel truly valued. Whenever I saw Aylin and Yvette, they greeted me by name and encouraged me at every step. I will never forget them. Next was Anne. I have had many ultrasounds, and she is the most professional sonographer I have met. She explained in detail what she saw and was honest throughout. I left every visit feeling I had learned something new, which is difficult when an ultrasound just looks like a cluster of shapes :). I am very grateful for everything she taught my husband and me. Rachel is an excellent nurse. Honestly, after my miscarriage, I told Rachel everything. Anyone who has experienced miscarriage knows how frightening it is. I know my questions may have been tiring, but Rachel never showed it. She answered every question and reassured me whenever I needed it. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and patience. I did not interact with Elizabeth for long because the IUI financial process was quick, but she was very kind. Every question was answered promptly and courteously. I may have missed others from this journey, but everyone at the clinic was wonderful. They helped my husband and me stay calm and were honest while remaining hopeful. I appreciate every one of them and truly believe we would not be here without them. If you are looking for a place to begin treatment, I promise this is it. If I could go back, I would choose this clinic from the start. Thank you again to the entire SGF-Woodlands team! We will miss you, but we are very grateful to be moving forward.

We are extremely happy with this clinic! My husband has a spinal cord injury, so we chose IVF, and Dr. Jaimin Shah is truly the best. Everything went very smoothly and was completely painless. Other reviews led us to Shady Grove Fertility and Dr. Jaimin Shah's team, so I want to share my own positive experience. Before finding Shady Grove, my partner and I considered other fertility clinics. We consulted doctors, completed initial diagnostic testing, and even discussed IUI versus IVF. Ultimately, we did not choose them because it did not feel right for many reasons. My instincts told me to seek another opinion, so I found Dr. Shah and scheduled our first appointment. From the first consultation, I knew we had made the best decision. Dr. Shah's team and the entire Shady Grove clinic in Spring-Woodlands, Texas, were compassionate, thoughtful, and, most importantly, openly communicative from the beginning. Our team—including Dr. Shah, Lucinda in client care, nurse Rachel, who returned every call the same day, Anne, who was meticulous with every ultrasound, and the receptionists—made me feel heard and reassured during such a vulnerable time. After a previous miscarriage, I was afraid to get my hopes up, so I waited until 34 weeks pregnant to write this review. Our IVF transfer in March was successful thanks to the attentive care of SGF and Dr. Shah. I admit that I was not the most patient or optimistic patient. Past heartbreak left me anxious, and I know I arrived at more than half my appointments looking worried and perhaps not very positive. Despite my impatience and anxiety, Dr. Shah and his team remained professional, warm, and exceptionally patient throughout. Before SGF, I went to another clinic, and the difference was remarkable. SGF's process was clearly more welcoming and patient-friendly. They handled every complication and emotional hurdle with grace. If you want a doctor and team who combine excellent clinical care, genuine compassion, and exceptional tolerance for even the most emotionally challenging patients, I highly recommend Dr. Shah and SGF. We will always be grateful.

Shady Groves does not live up to its name and is a scam. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. At our first visit, the doctor was rude and aggressive and did not want to explain the condition. He tried to push us into multiple treatments the following week without allowing time for discussion. When we asked for time to consider our options and plan financially, he still had the clinic call us several times daily to pressure us into scheduling. He cared only about money, not patients. After we decided against treatment at Shady Groves, they demanded $250 even though I had paid my copay and insurance had paid its share.

Dr. Griffith and his team are amazing! We chose them after hearing many positive things about Shady Grove and Dr. Griffith. We had tried to conceive for more than a year without success, and I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). I was very nervous and did not want to rush into IVF. Dr. Griffith supported me and offered several options. We began with medicated ovulation-induction cycles and trigger shots—special thanks to Sarah for giving me my first injection when I was anxious and afraid of needles. The entire team was patient through three medicated cycles. The third worked! I am now 17 weeks pregnant with twins and deeply grateful to Shady Grove for giving my husband and me the chance to become parents.

The entire medical team is committed to providing the highest standard of care. I appreciate their consistent communication and willingness to answer every question and concern. Dr. Shah worked with me to develop a treatment plan and provided research-based explanations for the approach we agreed on. The nurses and other medical staff were very considerate. Even the front desk paid close attention to detail and proactively helped if I was dissatisfied with anything. I just want to say that this team is truly amazing. I say that because I previously visited another fertility clinic in Houston, and the difference here is enormous. Calling every staff member a star would be an understatement. I have never encountered such a complete medical team in my life. From the moment you walk in, Jacqueline greets you with a smile, shares stories with you, and always remembers your name. Hannah makes every ultrasound feel comfortable and caring, while Chelsea and Brenda are always professional and reassuring. Maria makes laboratory testing easy and stress-free, and nurses Lauren and Morgan always answer my questions quickly and kindly. Everyone plays an essential role in making patients feel cared for. All of this is guided by Dr. Bruno's attentive care. I have never met a doctor as skilled and kind as she is. She is not only brilliant, but you can genuinely feel how much she cares about her patients. She takes the time to understand the root of the problem and never makes you feel like a number. I previously received care at another well-known fertility clinic in Houston, and I can confidently say SGF is the best choice. I cried when I realized my time with this wonderful team was ending so soon. I sincerely hope I can return to this amazing team one day.

After a year and a half of infertility and one miscarriage, we were referred to Dr. Shah, and it was undoubtedly the best step in our path to parenthood. From our first visit, Dr. Shah made my husband and me feel like family and fought alongside us. Before developing a treatment plan, he wanted to fully understand my medical history and conduct comprehensive testing for both my husband and me. After testing, he quickly identified a treatment plan, and he truly is an expert because it worked on the first try! I am very grateful that he tailored our treatment to our specific circumstances and health rather than immediately recommending intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF). Dr. Shah's entire team was wonderful at every visit, on phone calls, and through portal messages. The front desk staff recognized me every time and made me feel at home. Even after I had spoken with a nurse, Dr. Shah would personally call to check on my emotional well-being. He cares about both your physical and mental health and truly understands how emotionally exhausting the process can be. Dr. Shah's nurses Leah and Rachael were also wonderful! I worked most closely with Leah. No matter how many times I called or emailed, she was never dismissive, patiently answered every question, and gave me tremendous reassurance during the anxiety of early pregnancy. She is truly one of the best nurses I have ever met. Overall, we had an excellent experience, and I sincerely thank Dr. Shah and his team for helping my husband and me welcome our rainbow baby! After three miscarriages, I was referred to Aspire, where I met Dr. Griffith. From the beginning, he was professional, practical, and extremely supportive of our decisions. Under his care, we became pregnant and welcomed our son. We thought so highly of him that when we decided to try for another child, we returned to him without hesitation. We were delighted to see him again at Shady Grove, and I can honestly say he was as outstanding as ever. Dr. Shah is an excellent doctor. From the beginning to the end of our journey, he communicated with us patiently and thoroughly, explaining the entire treatment process and everything needed for success. Dr. Shah made sure all our questions were answered and never considered any question silly. Throughout treatment, he regularly checked on our physical and emotional well-being. Dr. Shah is not only highly skilled; his team is equally outstanding and helpful. Nurse Rachel in particular was very patient and caring. She always went above and beyond to help me, especially by ensuring I took all my prescribed medications. She carefully checked my oral and injection dosages and made sure I took them on time. Our fertility journey did not begin there. Before coming to Shady Grove, we had a difficult and frustrating experience at another clinic in The Woodlands. When we arrived, we were anxious, guarded, and honestly a little heartbroken. But from our first appointment, everything was completely different. Their compassion, clear explanations, and attentive care immediately made us feel more at ease than ever before. Dr. Griffiths was exceptional. He was not only highly skilled but also genuinely kind and patient, and his care for his patients was unmistakable. His team was equally warm and dedicated. Every nurse, coordinator, and staff member treated us with empathy, encouragement, and respect. We never felt like just another patient; we felt seen, heard, and supported at every step of our fertility journey. What impressed me most was the welcoming atmosphere they created. Fertility treatment can be extremely stressful and emotional, but they consistently fostered hope rather than fear. They patiently guided us through every step, answered every question, and helped restore our confidence in the process. Because of this team, a burden that once felt overwhelming now feels manageable again because we can carry it with hope. Today, we are expecting our miracle baby, due in December. Dr. Shah and his nurses are wonderful. My only headache was the financial department. Although they eventually sent a refund check, the process was quite a hassle. (Baby photo attached for tax purposes)

I was previously a patient at Dr. Griffiths' former clinic, where I underwent my first egg retrieval and frozen embryo transfer (FET), ultimately giving birth in the year 2024. I then followed Dr. Griffiths to this clinic, where I transferred an embryo and underwent my second frozen embryo transfer at Shady Grove. This experience was just as wonderful as the first. My body had some reactions to the medications, but the doctor kept adjusting them until we found the optimal regimen. I am now 9 weeks pregnant and deeply grateful to Dr. Griffiths and the entire team. Communication was excellent, and the nurses always responded promptly. I never waited more than 5 minutes for any blood test or ultrasound. The frozen embryo transfer was smooth and quick. Everything was well organized. The doctor always discussed test results with patients. Every member of the team was exceptional, without exception. I have also heard that Dr. Shah is wonderful.

My experience at Shady Grove was truly exceptional. The fertility journey was not easy, but Dr. Shah and his team made us feel genuinely cared for and valued at every step. During treatment, I also underwent procedures with Dr. Griffiths and Dr. Bruno-Gaston, and both experiences were excellent. Every doctor and team member we encountered showed tremendous compassion and professionalism. Dr. Shah always patiently answered every question, and whenever we faced a challenge, he had already developed a thoughtful plan. I was fortunate not to need too many treatment cycles, but even during the most heartbreaking moments, Dr. Shah and his team listened to our concerns with empathy and care. I never felt like just a number. Honestly, I was a little sad to leave the clinic because everyone—from the front desk and financial team to the nurses and medical staff—was so kind and supportive. I will truly miss seeing them regularly. I am incredibly grateful to share that we are pregnant, all thanks to Dr. Shah and the entire Shady Grove medical team. We look forward to meeting our baby in October.

We love Dr. Griffiths! I was very sad to leave the clinic, but we are incredibly grateful for our experience at SGF. From our first visit, Dr. Griffiths showed tremendous compassion and patience. He carefully explained every step of treatment and made us feel reassured and supported. IVF can be overwhelming, but he never rushed our questions and always made sure we truly understood every option. Communication between the nurses and doctors was excellent. Five stars are not enough to express my gratitude. It is hard to put into words how strongly I recommend Dr. Griffiths to anyone going through IVF, but I will try. My wife and I spent three years undergoing six egg retrievals without success, and our doctor told us there was nothing more they could do—until we met Dr. Griffiths. After just one retrieval, we now have a two-year-old and are currently in the second trimester with our second baby. If you are reading this because you need a doctor to help with IVF, congratulations—you are incredibly lucky!

Dr. Griffiths has a positive attitude and does everything possible to help you achieve a healthy pregnancy. He analyzes the data in great detail to help you decide how to build the family of your dreams. We now have three children, including healthy twin girls from our most recent pregnancy. The process was difficult, but Dr. Griffiths made it easier and worthwhile because he truly delivers positive results!

My husband and I have an amazing experience every time we go. Everyone, from the front desk to the rest of the staff, is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I have had blood drawn there several times, and I hate blood draws—but the women there are always very fast, it never hurts, and they take excellent care of me. The wait is always under 5 minutes (which is also why my husband likes the place so much, haha). Dr. Griffiths is wonderful, caring, and reassuring! His expertise in diagnosing and treating infertility is unmatched, and he made me feel heard and understood. What impressed me most, however, was his strong sense of ethics. I went through two cycles with him and do not think he made enough effort for me. The results were disappointing. He always talks as though everything is going well. You will keep undergoing more rounds and waste your time and money.

He is an amazing doctor. He was patient and answered all my questions, and believe me, I had a list. He takes the time to make sure you are comfortable. I never felt pressured or rushed. I went through two rounds of IVF and miscarried during the first. Dr. G was determined to identify the problem and correct it the next time, and I ended up with a beautiful baby boy. He always went above and beyond. Sometimes he called me at 6 or 7 p.m. with test results, explained them, and proposed a plan I was comfortable with. I will always be grateful to this man for helping me build my family.
