Dr. Koopersmith is one of the kindest, most caring doctors I have met. My mother has been her patient since I was born, and she is now my OB-GYN. She listens and advocates for you when problems arise. At an annual follow-up, she taught me a technique that helped me overcome deeply affecting childhood trauma. I have seen more than five therapists, but Dr. Koopersmith helped me more in that one hour than any of them.

Another doctor, who is also a family friend, highly recommended Dr. Koopersmith for my daughter’s reproductive health concerns. After several visits, I was impressed by how deeply Dr. Koop explored not only her current physical issues but her health as a whole. I had never seen a doctor get to know someone so thoroughly. Usually doctors say, “This is your condition, and this is your medication.” At every visit, she spends a great deal of time—about an hour—covering everything from current physical and digestive issues to stress reduction. I was so impressed with Dr. Koopersmith’s care that I decided to see her myself, and I am very satisfied with the depth of care she provides. She is highly knowledgeable about nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction, and in my view she is a lifelong learner who continually expands her knowledge with the latest scientific findings. I recently learned that Dr. Koopersmith is also certified in functional medicine, which trains doctors to look for the root causes of health problems. She spends considerable time getting to know her patients and gives them a range of tools to help them achieve their best health. I have made tremendous progress and continue to improve. I also love Dr. Koopersmith’s weekly Zoom class, “Flip Your Mindset.” It was exactly what I needed to complete my healing journey. I always leave with at least one new tool, and usually several, to support self-discovery and healing. I have enjoyed meeting the other women in the class and learning to view life’s challenges in a new, positive, healthier way. I value Dr. Koop as both a coach and a physician; she excels at both. I am deeply grateful to have Dr. Koopersmith in my life.

The $350 concierge fee, on top of insurance and out-of-pocket costs, makes necessary medical care outrageously expensive. It is disappointing to see this from an otherwise good doctor.

Dr. Copper Smith is a terrible doctor. She makes mistakes, speaks vaguely, is late for procedures, and communicates poorly. I would never recommend her.

I saw Dr. Copper Smith for four years and do not know why I put up with it for so long. She is experienced and generally pleasant, though occasionally rude, but her office staff are the worst I have encountered. During a serious, anxiety-provoking health crisis, I could not reach anyone at the office, including the doctor, for months. Another time, the doctor and a rude nurse argued loudly in front of me. My insurance claim was mishandled, my lab results were wrong, and once they gave me a cervical anesthetic injection—which was extremely painful—only to say the procedure machine was broken and I had to return another day. Today I arrived for my appointment and found the door locked. I waited in the hallway for half an hour and called their remote office representative (?) with no answer. I have had enough. Please spare yourself this experience—dealing with this office is exhausting.
