Dr. Violet Klenov is a dual board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist with deep roots in St. Louis. She completed her degrees, residency, and REI fellowship training at respected institutions including the University of Wisconsin, Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Iowa. Before joining us, she had more than five years of private-practice experience in the area.


Throughout her career, Dr. Klenov has received numerous honors for groundbreaking research, teaching, and excellence in minimally invasive surgery. She is an active member of several leading medical associations and was elected by her peers to the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society board. She also serves as REI subspecialty faculty for the obstetrics and gynecology residency program at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.


Dr. Klenov is passionate about every aspect of reproductive health, with particular emphasis on shared decision-making, cost-effective treatment, and natural approaches whenever possible. She is especially committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ people and single parents by choice and to improving IVF success rates to help all families pursue their dreams.

Today I am taking my daughter and son-in-law to hear their baby's heartbeat, and it will be my first time hearing it. STL Fertility was originally my client. From the moment I met Dr. Schulte, I felt the clinic had a wonderful atmosphere. I never imagined that my daughter/son-in-law would eventually need their services. I immediately recommended Dr. Schulte. From the beginning, she took exceptional care of them both. She was their greatest advocate and helped them through the entire process. As a father, you always want the best for your children. It was difficult to watch them struggle with fertility, but being there today and hearing the baby's heartbeat made me realize how great our God is!! Where do I begin? We will always be grateful to everyone at STL Fertility. The moment I entered, I knew we had found wonderful people. We recently graduated and are almost nine weeks pregnant! Everyone at the clinic will always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you for giving my husband and me the chance to build a family. 10/10, absolutely recommended!

I will begin with waking up during my egg retrieval. I was severely overstimulated, with 42 eggs. A second dose of anesthesia was given during the procedure without anyone telling me. When I transferred my eggs to another clinic to start over, some of the tubes were completely empty. Words cannot describe the pain this clinic caused me. Please go elsewhere.

We are so thankful for Dr Schulte and crew. We had previously been w a different fertility clinic and experienced a lot of heartache and major errors, and thank goodness we made the switch because it could not have been a better experience. They truly care, and take their time making sure the situation is the best it could be versus being rushed through the process just to check a box. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They made our experience so enjoyable that they truly made us forget how upsetting infertility can be. I looked forward to every appointment because the staff were so wonderful. They explained everything in great detail and supported you at every step. You never feel alone, which is incredibly reassuring. On graduation day, when we had to begin seeing an OB-GYN, I was very sad because I truly did not want to leave these people or this place. If you are experiencing infertility or need any help building your family, this is absolutely the place to go.

The staff at every level of care were always friendly. I did develop a severe infection after my hysterosalpingogram, which caused permanent scarring in my fallopian tubes. The outcome might have been better if they had prescribed prophylactic doxycycline, as my new clinic does.

STL Fertility was there when I needed a fertility clinic. Because we live out of state, much of our care was remote, and STL Fertility helped at every step, from reviewing ultrasound results and sending prescriptions to calling regularly with updates. The women at the clinic made me feel so loved and cared for during an extremely stressful and sad time in my life. Without them, we would not have our beautiful daughter! I am very grateful that I chose STL Fertility and highly recommend them! Their care is filled with love, kindness, and patience. Their desire to help women have children is clear, and everything they do genuinely reflects empathy. STL Fertility is a blessing, and I look forward to returning to their care for our next baby!

I highly recommend STL Fertility! They provide a welcoming, affirming, and safe environment for LGBTQIA+ couples hoping to build or grow their families! My husband and I initially worried that we would not find a trans- and queer-friendly clinic, but from the start I knew we had chosen the right place. Everyone at the clinic was kind, positive, helpful, and reassuring. Whenever we had questions or concerns, we could call or leave a message in the app, and they responded as quickly as possible. After more than a year of TTC, I had almost given up, but Dr. Schulte believed we could find the right path. Now I am nearly 9 weeks pregnant. I am so happy we chose this clinic! If you are struggling with infertility and hoping for a baby, I highly recommend STL Fertility! I spent more than two years with another provider without success. After transferring to STL Fertility, they helped make my dream come true in just three months. I feel incredibly fortunate that the entire process was so special. The embryo transfer in particular was unforgettable. Compared with our first embryo transfer at SIU, this experience was amazing. Thank you so much. STL Fertility is amazing! My husband and I had struggled with infertility for a year and a half, and I had almost lost all hope of becoming a parent. After reading reviews of STL Fertility, I felt it was exactly the clinic we needed. At the clinic, I underwent various tests. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and received other testing to better understand why we could not conceive. During infertility, it is easy to blame yourself. I even left a job I loved in hopes of reducing stress. To protect myself, I stopped attending friends' baby showers. But it is important to remember that this is not your fault. I loved that STL Fertility reminded me of this every week. Everyone at STL Fertility was warm and welcoming, including reception, billing, the laboratory team, ultrasound nurses, and doctors. The painful experience of infertility drained my enthusiasm for life and left me feeling more alone than ever. Wow...where do I begin? My eyes filled with tears as I wrote this review. From day one, everyone at this clinic made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. From reception to every nurse and staff member who drew my blood, I never felt like just another patient or a number on a chart. I felt like a person whose dream truly mattered. I will always be grateful for the entire team's patience, kindness, and expertise. This clinic is different. I could feel that they wanted a good outcome as much as I did. They did not rush me through treatment; they walked beside me through one of the most vulnerable periods of my life. Dr. Dayal is truly an angel. She has a pure heart and has found exactly where she belongs. When infertility took away all my hope, she helped me find it again. Infertility can make you feel broken, as though something innate has been taken from you, causing you to question your worth and identity as a woman. Dr. Dayal never minimized my journey. She did not simply transfer an embryo and move on. She made sure everything was ready before proceeding, always with care, intention, and compassion. Her reassurance, honesty, and genuine concern meant more to me than words can express. My coordinator, Jessie, was equally exceptional. She is kind and communicates clearly, making a potentially overwhelming process feel manageable and safe. In fact, every doctor and staff member I met was outstanding: knowledgeable, approachable, and fully invested in my outcome. At times, I had completely accepted that I might never become a mother again. I had been trying for seven years. Still, I trusted the process because this time felt different. This time felt right. Now, every time I hear my baby's heartbeat and see her moving on the ultrasound screen, I remember that none of this would have been possible without this clinic. I recommend Dr. Schulte, Jessie, and the entire STL Fertility team 1,000%! We previously underwent intrauterine insemination (IUI) at another clinic closer to home, but the experience was not ideal. As we continued treatment for secondary infertility, we began looking for new options. STL Fertility’s positive reviews and success stories drew us in. Although the drive was nearly four hours, we immediately knew we had chosen the right place! Everyone supported us, communicated closely, and patiently answered every question. Our first IVF transfer resulted in pregnancy, and we now have a beautiful one-month-old daughter! We are incredibly grateful to this team!

I would highly recommend Dr. Violet Klenov and this practice as a whole for any and all fertility needs for your family. To start off, a highlight that I feel is huge is their timeliness. Fertility treatment is a multi step and multi appointment process, with having to make it in there several times a week and the fact that I never had to wait past my appointment time and the efficiency within the visits were huge for me making it so easy to work scheduling in and out of my work days. Of course, the best thing they did for me and my husband was give us a pregnancy. We had past losses that left us feeling hopeless on ever starting a family of our own. Not once did I ever doubt them as providers or question wether this was going to work or “is it worth it or not” from our first initial consultation and every point of contact with any team member I put my full trust in all of them. The plan was thorough and effective and all my questions were addressed before I even had to ask them. I was very nervous when I began IVF, but everyone there was kind and patient. They knew I had a long commute, so they tried to schedule everything during a single visit whenever possible, saving us from another long trip for one test. They also emailed prescriptions for me to print and take to a hospital closer to home, so I did not need to travel to St. Louis for certain laboratory tests. I greatly appreciated this. If you are looking for an IVF clinic, they are the best. Highly recommended 👌🏼 I know every situation is different, but our first IVF transfer was successful, and I now have a perfect little angel. He is nearly one year old, and this has been the best year of our lives, all thanks to the StL.F team 🩵 Do not hesitate to contact them! We will definitely return as soon as possible for our second transfer.

Amazing!!!! We previously went to another clinic but never became pregnant. A friend later transferred to STL Fertility, so we decided to try it too. It was the best decision we ever made. Although Dr. Klenov was our physician, we worked with every doctor at the clinic and loved them all. They treated us as people, not patients. The clinic has a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere, which is very important because no one truly wants to visit a clinic, but we no longer dreaded appointments as we had before. The doctors tailor treatment to your circumstances and focus on what is best for you. A friend was also undergoing IVF there at the time, but our treatment plans were completely different. For example, my friend needed ovarian stimulation injections, while I did not need injections before transfer day or during early pregnancy because the doctor knew I responded well to medication and did not want to risk overstimulation. I am now almost 14 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. I cannot say enough good things about everyone at this clinic. From the financial staff and coordinators to the doctors and nurses, you can truly trust them with your future child.

Currently 17 weeks pregnant. This is the third clinic my husband and I have visited. The first two, better-known clinics were fine, but they do not compare to STL Fertility. We had an excellent experience throughout our treatment, with nothing unpleasant at all. I highly recommend this clinic to all women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and to queer and transgender couples. The team is not only knowledgeable, but also highly respectful of patients.
