Dr. Farah-Eways joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002. She is committed to providing excellent, compassionate care to help patients achieve their family-building goals. Her interests include polycystic ovary syndrome, recurrent pregnancy loss, in vitro fertilization, and preimplantation genetic testing.

Being a fertility specialist is one of the most rewarding and challenging careers imaginable, and I feel fortunate to practice in this field of medicine. I strive to care for patients with the same compassion and expertise I would expect from my own personal physician.

Dr. Farah-Eways earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida. She completed her reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

    We went to San Francisco. I believe the problems were poor laboratory quality and inadequate physician oversight. We completed 2 cycles with over 35 eggs each, but nothing seemed to work. The doctor blamed us. We investigated and found paperwork errors, including the wrong trigger date, physician errors involving poor communication, and apparent laboratory problems reflected in poor fertilization results. Dr. Erin Moy, who runs the clinic, became defensive and awful. We switched to a dedicated IVF clinic, and they had no problems. In one cycle, we obtained over 35 eggs and ultimately 11 viable embryos. The cost was about the same as Kaiser IVF. Nothing compares with going to a genuine IVF clinic with good doctors and a good laboratory! Even if Kaiser IVF is free for you, seriously consider paying extra and using a dedicated IVF clinic to save time and physical pain.

    I can say only positive things about the Aks facility. They know how to care for you. All the nurses are very patient and attentive. Everyone, from the receptionists to the nurses, is kind and helpful. They made my experience very smooth, and I am deeply grateful.

    I am shocked to see so many negative reviews. I had very positive experiences with dozens of people at this office—Dr. Farah-Elvis, Erica, Carla, the front desk staff, medical assistants, and everyone else. They were all kind, helpful, and understanding. I always felt cared for and heard. Infertility is awful, but I am grateful I received treatment from this staff at this clinic.

    The treatment was ineffective. I wish I had changed insurance providers instead of choosing Kaiser Permanente.

    I had an amazing experience at this clinic. The only thing to be mindful of is that if an appointment gets cancelled, they may not always notify you, so it’s good to double-check. My experience with IUI went very smoothly. The nurse practitioner tiffany was extremely experienced, kind, and guided me very well throughout the process. I felt well supported and in good hands. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this clinic. Just follow the instructions they provide carefully, and everything will go smoothly. You’ll feel supported and positive throughout your journey
