Building a family can sometimes be complex, but it does not have to be confusing. Dr. Mazur is committed to helping patients make informed decisions by thoroughly explaining their options and offering the best plan for success while respecting each person's unique priorities.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Mazur completed his undergraduate studies in Ohio. He returned to Houston for medical school, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and a Master of Science degree. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI).
Dr. Mazur's research interests include progesterone receptor signaling and endometrial receptivity. He has a special interest in reproductive aging and fertility preservation options. Dr. Mazur has presented his work at international conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals, and recently authored a chapter on uterine function in Knobil and Neill's Physiology of Reproduction, an authoritative text on human reproductive physiology.
Dr. Mazur is married to pediatrician Dr. Angela Mazur, and they are busy raising three young children. He sees patients at the Tacoma location.
