Dr. Brad Miller, United States
Dr. Miller is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist. Before founding RMA of Michigan, he was a partner at RMA of New Jersey, where he worked closely with its director, Dr. Richard Scott. There, he gained extensive experience by performing more than 35,000 ultrasounds, 2,000 egg retrievals, and 4,000 embryo transfers and overseeing more than 6,000 IVF stimulation cycles. Dr. Miller’s patients alone have delivered more than 1,500 babies. Of these births, 70% were singletons, 26% twins, 4% triplets, and fewer than 0.1% quadruplets.
During his service in the U.S. Navy, he directed assisted reproductive technology programs at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the National Naval Medical Center, and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Under his leadership, the assisted reproductive technology (“ART”) program was consistently among the most successful in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Dr. Miller also supervised the training of assisted reproduction fellows in the NIH Combined Federal Fellowship Program in Reproductive Endocrinology.
Dr. Miller completed his undergraduate studies and earned his medical degree with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his OB/GYN residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, followed by a reproductive endocrinology fellowship under Dr. Richard T. Scott through the Combined Federal Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda.
Dr. Miller has authored more than 20 scientific articles and received several honors, including U.S. Army and Navy Achievement Medals. He is an ad hoc reviewer for the international journal Fertility and Sterility. His scientific and clinical interests include extended embryo culture and elective single-blastocyst transfer to reduce higher-order multiple pregnancies in IVF. Dr. Miller serves on the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) selection committee at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He also volunteers monthly at the Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic in Pontiac, which provides free medical care to uninsured and underinsured families.
