Nicole P. Doyle, MD, PhD, FACOG, earned her medical and doctoral degrees from the Technical University of Munich School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Doyle then completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Doyle has published peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, book chapters, and reviews in leading journals in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Her research focuses on the timing of embryo transfer, which she continues as part of the Shady Grove Fertility research team. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and belongs to numerous medical organizations.
Dr. Doyle's clinical interests include all aspects of female and male infertility, particularly optimizing outcomes for patients with diminished ovarian reserve or premature ovarian insufficiency, as well as advances in in vitro fertilization, oocyte donation, recurrent pregnancy loss, fertility preservation, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Dr. Doyle is married and enjoys outdoor activities, skiing, and visiting family in Europe. She is fluent in German and joined SGF in 2020.

My experience at SGF was excellent. Everyone on the team, especially Dr. Osborn and nurse Marylin, was professional, dedicated, and attentive. Marylin always answered my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. I felt supported and understood throughout the process.

Do not come here unless you want to be deceived.
Shady Grove has fallen extremely far. During fertility screening, my wife was exposed to latex despite her documented latex allergy. Apparently, the facility listed it in progress notes rather than in the allergy indicator.
Instead of admitting the error, they denied any latex exposure despite my wife’s reaction, meaning the provider, Dr. Nicole Doyle, lied. Worse, they had the audacity to bill us. At best, this conduct is unprofessional.

Dr. Doyle, nurse Helen, and the entire Shady Grove care team are wonderful. Helen, your kindness, attentiveness, and warmth gave me tremendous strength. Dr. Doyle, your expertise and reassuring presence gave us confidence at every step. Dr. Humm, nurse Susan, and all the other staff were wonderful. We just welcomed our first baby, and we could not have reached this point without them. They provided excellent communication and support throughout IVF. We always felt fully informed, respected, and confident that our decisions and wishes were honored. I highly recommend this team!

Ashley and Debbie are wonderful! I am very afraid of needles, but they always make me laugh during blood draws. I leave the Sibley office feeling happy and confident every time. The clinic has a very calm, peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend SGF Sibley.

We had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Doyle and her team. I truly appreciated her practical, straightforward communication style. From the beginning, she clearly explained the outlook for the different treatment options and helped us understand our progress throughout treatment. Everyone at SGF was very helpful, including my outstanding coordinator, Pam, who did so much for us and was always easy to reach. The newly renovated K Street office is also fantastic :)

After a difficult year of treatment at another fertility clinic, switching to Dr. Doyle was one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning, the entire process was smooth, well organized, and much less stressful. She was thoughtful and attentive, patiently listening to our concerns and answering our questions.
The entire team was wonderful and a pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent throughout, and we always felt fully informed and supported at every step. Special thanks to Helen, who was truly exceptional. Her responsiveness, kindness, and attention to detail made this challenging journey much easier.

My wife and I were undergoing fertility screening at Shady Grove. Although my wife has a latex allergy and documented it on the forms she completed at Shady Grove, it was apparently never entered in the allergy section. When she arrived for screening, the doctor, Nicole Doyle, had an instrument with a latex cover. Dr. Doyle never confirmed my wife's allergies, which is standard procedure, but my wife knew to ask whether it contained latex. Unfortunately, the exposure had already occurred, and my wife had a severe reaction.
At that point, we hoped the doctor would honestly explain what happened. Instead, Shady Grove denied any wrongdoing and told us Dr. Doyle claimed the instrument was never inserted, so there had been no latex exposure. Such appalling conduct from someone who should be trusted during fertility screening. Stay away from Shady Grove and Dr. Doyle.

Dr. Nicole Doyle is an absolutely amazing person! She is knowledgeable, thorough, focused, and compassionate, and she is excellent at what she does. She gives you hope through realistic goal-setting. She is in this field for the right reasons and has an exceptional bedside manner. She made our dream of building a family come true. Even when we thought it might not happen for us, she always made every possible effort. She seeks answers, thoughtfully develops action plans, and even calls simply to ask how you are doing. I can honestly say that my heart is full of love and gratitude for someone who was just another doctor to me a few years ago. She is an angel on earth! A special virtual hug to nurse Pam Collins, whose voice on the phone comforted me many times. These two are truly outstanding!

I have worked with Dr. Doyle for several years, and she is wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about her. She is attentive, caring, and compassionate. She genuinely cares about her patients and wants the best outcome for you. She speaks gently and prefers to deliver bad news herself when she can. I believe this is partly because she is invested in you and your outcome and wants to be there to answer every question. Although I have not yet achieved a successful pregnancy, she has shown compassion and understanding at every step and answered all my questions. I cannot adequately express how much she cares and wants the best for you.
Friends have told me horror stories about their experiences with other doctors, not necessarily at SGF, and I am always shocked. I am grateful to have a knowledgeable, attentive, compassionate specialist because that has not been my experience. I have referred several friends and colleagues to her, and they love her too! She is the best!

Words cannot express how amazing it was to work with Dr. Doyle. We had a long journey to pregnancy, including failed transfers, canceled cycles, and miscarriage. Throughout, she advised us based on our goals and did not hesitate to tell us how she would approach the situation in our position. We are so glad Dr. Doyle was our doctor and cannot imagine choosing anyone else to guide us through this journey.

My husband and I first met her during a consultation arranged by SGF. I still remember it clearly—it was raining that day. From the moment we met, we felt her warmth. She was highly professional and knowledgeable, and most importantly, she truly listened.
At that moment, we knew she was the person who could help us grow our family.
Although I was already seeing another doctor, I chose Dr. Doyle because speaking with her never felt like speaking with a stranger. She accompanied us through every high and low of this emotional journey. When we felt hopeless, she gave us hope and made every decision with care.
There were times when I wanted to give up, but she stayed with us and always found a way to support us.
