This is not a good clinic, and the staff are poor. The doctor lacks professionalism, experience, and education. The more questions you ask, the more annoyed the staff and doctor become. They act as though they have many patients and schedule you far in advance, but that is not true. I never saw another patient in the waiting room. The doctor follows her own protocol, which she believes is always correct, and does not listen to or care about patients. Ask questions before committing. Ask how many times they will see you during stimulation, how they will monitor you, and so on. Once you pay and commit, they think they can control you, and insults become routine. After the egg retrieval, they did not let me rest or take my time. To them, you are treated like completed material. I was moved to the waiting room while barely conscious and unable to dress. They repeatedly told me to message my friend that I was ready, but I could not even type, and they stood watching me struggle. When my friend arrived, she dressed me. She saw that I could not even speak, but heard me say I was going to vomit and asked the staff for help. I believe an embryologist gave me a bucket. It was not Nurse Helen or Debbie. The doctor never appeared after the procedure to speak with me or explain the results. They fully understand how difficult this is for women yet lack basic empathy. The clinic is poorly run. You may think you can save money at this clinic, but unfortunately you will not. Their technology is very outdated, even though it is critical. Anesthesia is not included in the package, and they use their own questionable sedation practice. Every blood test carries a convenience fee that is also excluded from the package. They do not want to see you frequently for office ultrasounds, which are very important during stimulation. If you want to be treated like “livestock,” this is the place.

Everyone at First IVF is wonderful, especially Debbie. Thank you for being so excellent and helping me so much at every step. I love you all and hope to soon hold in my arms one of the embryos you have cared for. I would recommend you to everyone. Update: After two transfers, I have a beautiful, intelligent 10-month-old baby. I thank everyone at this clinic for making my dream come true and will always be grateful. I still have two embryos remaining that I plan to use in the future. I referred my best friend to the clinic, and she is now 19 weeks pregnant. If you are looking for a fertility clinic, call them now. If I could give 100 stars, I would.

Debbie at the front desk was extremely rude. Because of her, I will never return to this place.

Dr. Selub and her team are absolute superstars! 🙌 We are so glad we chose FIRST IVF. Debbie, Dr. Selub, Helen, James, and of course the laboratory were all highly professional. We became pregnant in only about 6 months. It was certainly a long journey, but if you follow their instructions, you will succeed! Thank you, FIRST IVF, for making our dream come true and helping us build our family. We will always be grateful to this outstanding clinic. May God bless Dr. Selub and her wonderful team. You are like family to us now 🙏💕🙏 - Yessie and Seldi

Dr. Selub is a true master of her craft! I highly recommend her as the best doctor in the field! She is kind, genuine, astute, and stays current with all the latest research. If you review contemporary medical journals, you will find that Dr. Selub's recommendations are consistently accurate and evidence-based. The office is always clean, tidy, and well maintained. It is never crowded, either! There is no long wait when you arrive, which is amazing, and there is plenty of parking. It is very clear that staff members Debbie, Helen, and James, along with the excellent embryologist Dr. Olu and his team, genuinely care about every patient and their outcome! The prices are the best in the area, and you will get results! We could not have chosen a better practice!

I am so glad I found FIRST IVF in Weston! They are by far the best and friendliest fertility clinic in South Florida. I remember my first phone call with Debbie. I was very frustrated with the process, and she was so calm and reassuring that her energy immediately made me feel well cared for. If building your family is taking longer than expected, I strongly recommend contacting them early! They run a small practice, which is exactly what I wanted. To them, you are more than a number. They truly listen, care, and treat you with the utmost kindness. A fertility journey is an emotional process, but thanks to Dr. Selub, Debbie, Helen, James, Dr. Olu, and Amanda, it was much easier and less painful than I expected. They run an extremely organized operation, and within three months I went from my first consultation to IVF and then a positive pregnancy test. My family will always be grateful for the care we received. We will always hold a special place for you in our hearts! Love, Karla and Josh

We absolutely love this clinic! Our experience has been wonderful from the beginning. Starting a fertility journey can be overwhelming and emotional, but this clinic made everything much easier. Dr. Selub is highly knowledgeable and reassuring, and Debbie is truly exceptional. She is very thoughtful and always patiently answers our questions and eases our concerns. We feel extremely fortunate to have found such attentive and highly skilled providers.

My experience trying to schedule an initial egg-freezing consultation was extremely disappointing. The scheduling process was handled so poorly that I never even got to see a doctor. When I called, the scheduler immediately challenged me about why I wanted IVF. I clearly explained that I was not seeking IVF and was simply interested in egg freezing as a proactive option for future fertility. Instead of listening, they spent about ten minutes arguing that egg freezing and IVF were the same thing, which was frustrating and unhelpful. As a prospective patient, I expected basic professionalism, respect, and accurate information. This experience alone was enough for me to cancel the consultation.

I had an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with this clinic's front desk that left me feeling disrespected and dismissed—and honestly, shocked. What should have been a routine phone consultation became a humiliating interaction. I was repeatedly interrupted, spoken to condescendingly, and even told to ‘be quiet’ when I tried to explain. Although I apologized for delays in handling paperwork caused by major life changes—moving, changing jobs, and settling into a new home—I was treated with no empathy or professionalism. No patient should be treated this way. The clinic needs to seriously reconsider how its front-desk staff communicate with and treat patients. If patients are treated this way by phone, the prospect of an in-person visit is even more concerning.

I’m currently undergoing IVF at this clinic due to secondary infertility. My experience thus far has been positive. Dr. Selub is the crème de la crème of fertility doctors in the area with her education and decades of experience! She’s very knowledgeable and keeps abreast of new research in her field. She also has a trustworthy and compassionate aura. You’ll know what I mean when you meet her. Dr.Selub is a rare person with a heart of gold. During our initial meeting, she was clear on our low chance of success, given my bloodwork results and other factors. However, we still wished to move forward. My husband and I first completed genetic testing. She then created an IVF protocol specifically tailored to me. I had 8 follicles in my left ovary and three in my right. I had frequent transvaginal ultrasounds throughout stimming to determine the growth of my follicles and whether additional medication was warranted to support additional growth. Once enough follicles had grown to a size deemed satisfactory to the doctor, I was advised to take the trigger shot. I had my egg retrieval 36 hours after the trigger shot. I was treated with compassion throughout the egg retrieval process. The sedation process felt very safe. They informed my husband that four eggs were retrieved. Debbie called me the following day (on her Saturday!) and informed me that three eggs were fertilized. About four days later, I was notified that I had two blastocysts. These were biopsied for PGT-A testing. About 2.5 weeks later, I was notified that both were chromosomally normal. My husband and I were elated! I’m 40 and will turn 41 in a few months, so I wasn't expecting these results! We originally planned on going straight to donor eggs if the first cycle did not yield good embryos. The doctor also performed a biopsy during the retrieval, and I tested positive for endometritis. I am so glad she checked because endometritis is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage. She was able to treat it with antibiotics, and I am now negative. Given my age, they suggested we bank more embryos. This clinic is far more affordable than other clinics in the area, and the doctor is the best of the best—she attended one of the best medical schools in the country, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC! She successfully competed and went through immense rigor before getting into a school of that rank. She also completed a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Duke University after specializing in OB/GYN at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. More importantly, she has decades of experience, so if things don’t go my way, I will not regret selecting this clinic. We agreed that it would be best to bank more now to improve our probability of having a baby. I start another cycle in June 2026. I hope I get more embryos that are PGT-A normal, and I pray that at least one becomes a baby. Dr. Selub and her staff have been beyond amazing thus far, and I feel immense gratitude for the care they’ve provided. Nurse Brianna is very gentle with my tiny veins and always so kind. The embryologist is highly skilled, and Amanda and Debbie are pleasant. The doctor relies on up-to-date technology, laboratory practices, and research methodology to run her practice. I feel I am getting the best at the lowest price- the only explanation is Dr. Selub’s big heart. She is providing a service to her community by providing affordable fertility treatment options. Her prices are less than half that of large-scale IVF clinics in this area! She is good at something that many need, and she makes it less burdensome and more feasible for the average person to have a baby. I am so thankful.

DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE! The office commits credit card fraud and misleads patients with unauthorized charges. The Dr will also not help you if you are over a certain age. You will be pushed into using weight loss drugs if you are slightly overweight. And you will be called out on your weight which is completely irrelevant. Your eggs will be harvested in a group collectively and banked to sell to other patients if they are not used. This office will immediately give you the creeps and I should have walked out the second I felt uncomfortable. Save yourself a trip and find another place!
