Dr. Washburn graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1986. He completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1990. Before joining Lyndhurst Gynecologic Associates in 1995, he was an assistant professor of gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. His special interests include menopause, hormone replacement and alternative therapies, urinary incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. In 2002, the OB/GYN residents at Wake Forest University School of Medicine named Dr. Washburn Teacher of the Year.

Dr. Washburn and his wife, Karen, have three children. He is an active member of Hope Presbyterian Church and enjoys cooking, sailing, and traveling.

    Dr. Harold Pollard at Lyndhurst Gyn delivered my youngest son 31 years ago. He has performed my annual exam for 31 years and has always been kind, professional, and deeply concerned about my overall health. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a gynecologist. Kay in Winston-Salem

    Through my high-risk pregnancy and complicated postpartum period, I think I saw every doctor at Lyndhurst, and most were wonderful. However, I was fortunate to find the best doctor I have ever met, Dr. Arthur, who is now my primary OB-GYN. I cannot recommend him enough! He is compassionate, thorough, and personable. Mothers of multiples who want to feel understood should see him!

    Mary Sadler, DPT, is an outstanding physical therapist and unquestionably one of the best I have ever encountered. She not only has broad and deep knowledge of anatomy and function but also an exceptional ability to identify, target, and resolve physical problems. Dr. Sadler is also a gifted teacher who provides clear, thorough explanations and illustrations, enabling patients to understand the problem and begin managing their own bodies. Because of Dr. Sadler, I function far better than I thought possible and am pain-free. I highly recommend her. I am glad Lyndhurst Gynecologic Associates had the wisdom to hire Dr. Sadler and offer this valuable service.

    All the staff were kind and personable. Everyone took the time to listen, and their assessments and explanations were highly professional and thorough. The facility was very clean and comfortable. The waiting area was spacious and not crowded. The exam rooms were well equipped, and privacy was a top priority. I will always recommend them.

    Dr. Schoenbachler and his team provided exceptional care. I left feeling well cared for, with my concerns given full attention, and encouraged by their kindness and professionalism. Dr. Schoenbachler is a talented physician who genuinely cares about his patients' health. This was evident from the first moment of the visit to the last.     A complete waste of time! They are like every other gynecologist: they do not listen and do not perform any tests! My daughter waited six months to get into this clinic with numerous concerns, and they did not investigate anything! This place is a joke, just like all the others!

    Dr. Jennifer Cerny is absolutely the best! She is very knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients. I have been going to Lyndhurst in the Kernersville and Winston area since I moved here about five years ago, and Dr. Cerny will be my doctor from now on! My most recent visit was for health issues caused by an intrauterine device (IUD). They quickly identified the problem, addressed my concerns, and resolved it very professionally and gently. Afterward, we discussed a plan and put it into action immediately, without any intimidation or pressure from her or the nurse, unlike my experience at an out-of-state clinic. I love Lyndhurst and Dr. Cerny!

    Jennifer Cerny is amazing!! I have been her patient for about 10–12 years and have never experienced such attentive care. She personally calls about test results or questions and is direct while always remaining calm and caring. She is passionate about her work and her patients. I know this because, as a therapist, I refer my most ‘vulnerable’ patients to her, and they consistently speak extremely highly of Jennifer. I strongly recommend her!

    I have been highly satisfied with my doctor(s) at Lyndhurst since we landed here more than ten years ago yet every year somehow I feel MORE cared for and my physical and all-around health MORE understood.     NP Jessica was very professional and knowledgeable, and I would definitely see her again. She was very gentle during the procedure. I had an excellent experience. Dr. Goodrich was very kind and intelligent. The front desk staff were also very friendly, and the rest of the care team was attentive and considerate.

    Pros: Dr. Stacee Sheets Goodrich genuinely cares about her patients. She takes time to listen to their concerns and manages her time well. Cons: Their billing office will try to bill your insurance under incorrect codes, although that issue was resolved in the past. This year, during a gynecology visit, I asked to arrange an additional service for a future visit—in other words, I scheduled a future appointment. They charged me an extra office-visit fee during my annual exam simply because I asked to schedule it.

    If you are looking for an OB-GYN, do not go here! I have never encountered such rudeness in my life. I had an IUD inserted on June 4 this year and have been back five times since then. My symptoms keep getting worse. I have unbearable lower-right abdominal pain, and during one of my many visits they told me it was referred pain. I also have headaches, severe nausea, diarrhea, and dizziness. At the last visit, they told me they did not want to remove my IUD because they believed it was the best option for me. I felt pressured because when you sit there telling me you do not want to do it, obviously I am not going to force you to remove it. They referred me to my primary care doctor, whom I have been seeing since, and all my lab results have been normal so far. I am waiting for more results to see whether I have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). If not, I will have it removed. At all five follow-ups, they repeatedly told me I looked fine. At the last one, they also told me these symptoms had nothing to do with my IUD! This is ridiculous!! I just want to find out what is wrong because this is not normal at all!! I would never recommend them to anyone!!

    I had to change doctors because my previous doctor retired, and I am very glad I made the change. Dr. Johnson and the entire staff are professional, kind, and helpful. They made me feel important. Dr. Johnson is patient, thorough, knowledgeable, and provided much more information than my previous doctor. I am very happy I chose Dr. Johnson as my new doctor.

    I called Lyndhurst for help while I was having a miscarriage. I was sobbing and terrified, but they coldly said without hesitation, “You have an outstanding balance. I’m transferring you to billing.” Unbelievably heartless. They have lost me as a patient forever. I will never forget this.

    Drs Tristan Sanz took the time to explain everything in detail and made me feel like he would sit there as long as needed for me to get clarity and peace of mind about my situation. He took the time to answer all of my questions and help me and my husband make decisions that were best for us, never once making us feel like an inconvenience for taking so much of his time! I can’t express how thankful I am!

    Everyone was extremely kind, efficient, and professional. Dr. Hatch was not only compassionate and caring but also demonstrated exceptional expertise while placing my IUD. She repeatedly checked on me throughout the procedure and did everything possible to ensure my comfort. The staff were also very friendly and patiently answered all my questions. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice—10 out of 10!

    I have had good experiences here throughout my pregnancy. The staff are always kind, patient, and competent. Although everyone has a different personality, I have never been treated rudely or unprofessionally. All tests and procedures have been explained clearly, with respect for my decisions. I recommend this practice to any pregnant woman seeking good care for herself and her baby.

    I had been trying to be seen at this practice for weeks. At 36 weeks pregnant, my medical records finally arrived from Louisiana. Today Joanna called and said she “couldn't find my insurance information and I had no insurance at all.” She told me I could be seen if I prepaid $2,500. I said I would call back with my insurance number, which I did 15 minutes later. When I provided it, she said I was “not a good fit” and referred me elsewhere. This practice seems very suspicious, and I will report it through the proper channels.
