Dr. Scott A. Washburn, United States
Dr. Washburn graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1986. He completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1990. Before joining Lyndhurst Gynecologic Associates in 1995, he was an assistant professor of gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. His special interests include menopause, hormone replacement and alternative therapies, urinary incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. In 2002, the OB/GYN residents at Wake Forest University School of Medicine named Dr. Washburn Teacher of the Year.
Dr. Washburn and his wife, Karen, have three children. He is an active member of Hope Presbyterian Church and enjoys cooking, sailing, and traveling.
