Dr. Mark Trolice, United States
Mark P. Trolice, M.D., FACOG, FACS, FACE, is Director of The IVF CenterSM in Winter Park, Florida. He is Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist and a Professor, UCF-College of Medicine. He is also past President of the Florida Society of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) and past Division Director of REI at Winnie Palmer Hospital, part of Orlando Health.
He is double Board-certified in REI and OB/GYN, maintains annual recertification and has been awarded the American Medical Association’s “Physicians’ Recognition Award” annually. He holds the unique distinction of being a Fellow in all three American Colleges of OB/GYN, of Surgeons, and of Endocrinology. His colleagues selected him as Top Doctor in America® annually, one among the top 5% of doctors in the U.S. In 2018, he was awarded the “Social Responsibility Award” by the National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association. For ten years his foundation, Fertile Dreams, organized seminars to increase fertility awareness and granted national scholarships for those unable to afford in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
Dr. Trolice serves on committees for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology as well as the editorial advisory board of Ob.Gyn.News. He has conducted scientific studies with resultant numerous publications and been appointed a reviewer in many leading medical journals and textbooks. He has lectured at numerous physician and patient seminars around the country. In addition, he is interviewed regularly on TV news/talk shows, radio, podcasts, print/online magazines and newspapers on reproductive health topics. In early 2019, he launched a podcast entitled The Fertility Health Podcast featuring discussions with national experts on pertinent infertility and reproductive medicine topics. His first book on the infertility journey was published by Harvard Common Press in early 2020.
Dr. Trolice has been promoted to Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine effective January 1, 2020. For the past 12 years, Dr. Trolice has served as Associate Professor at UCF. He looks forward to continuing the significant contributions he has made to the field of obstetrics and gynecology and to the educational program at UCF College of Medicine. He is also a board member for the Winter Park Society for the Arts and Advisory Board member for Whole Person Health Ministry since 2008.

After a $400 consultation, we were told that someone would contact us about the next steps.
We waited two weeks but received no call.
We called the center and were given our contact person’s email address.
We emailed that person but received no reply.
No one contacted us. The way they treat prospective parents is very disappointing.

I was amazed by my wonderful experience as a new patient. Dr. Chen was very patient, listened carefully to all my concerns, explained everything in detail, and made sure I fully understood. I never felt rushed or ignored. Everyone was kind from the moment I entered until I left. Dr. Chen recommended the best treatment plan for my individual situation. The financial representative also explained every charge and what my insurance did and did not cover, and she was a pleasure to speak with. Every doctor I have met so far has been excellent. My experience at other clinics has never been as positive as it has been at the IVF Center.

I am very glad we chose this clinic for our fertility needs. From the first phone call through all our office appointments, everyone was very helpful. The clinic is brand new and beautifully designed inside. Sierra at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Tianna, our new-patient coordinator, was very helpful and ensured that we completed everything required. Dr. S is knowledgeable and never pushy. I highly recommend this clinic! Most appointments can be completed at the Lake Nona clinic, although some must take place at the Winter Park clinic. Winter Park also has many friendly and helpful staff members. Thank you to everyone at both clinics for all the help and support throughout the process. If you are considering beginning fertility care, I highly recommend this clinic!

First, I want to say that Dr. Patel was attentive, professional, and thorough during my visit. She carefully explained all possible treatment options, listened to my concerns, reviewed my condition, and made me feel at ease throughout the consultation. I greatly appreciate her care.
Unfortunately, everything began to go wrong after meeting Dr. Patel.
I was told a financial coordinator would contact me after the visit, but a month passed without a call. Someone else later contacted me to schedule tests, but I was never clearly told which tests I actually needed. Dr. Patel had explained that I might need only a few tests, yet the coordinator initially tried to schedule all of them. They ultimately had to check with the doctor again to determine what was truly necessary.
Most frustrating was the complete lack of cost transparency. No one could clearly explain the estimated total cost, which is essential before beginning a sensitive medical process involving substantial out-of-pocket expenses.
The billing process was also confusing and stressful. My initial visit should already have been paid for, which the doctor's office confirmed twice. Even so, I received four or five calls, texts, and messages from Prelude requesting payment. Just a few days ago, I received another call asking for twice the amount previously quoted.
Dr. Patel herself is excellent, but the partnership and coordination with Prelude unfortunately made the entire experience chaotic and complicated. Too many people seemed to be involved without effective communication or coordination. In such a sensitive and important medical process, patients need clarity, consistency, and confidence.
Sadly, the doctor's excellent care was overshadowed by confusion, misinformation, billing problems, and poor coordination elsewhere. Before making important medical decisions, patients have a right to fully understand what they need, why they need it, and what their financial responsibility will be.

I cannot say enough good things about the IVF Center. Fertility challenges are an emotional and difficult journey, but every member of their team treated us with compassion, understanding, and genuine care. They are knowledgeable and collaborative and always took the time to ensure that we felt supported and heard. They never seemed cold or distant; you can truly feel that they care about every patient.
My IVF coordinator Christina was my lifeline throughout the process. She patiently and kindly responded to countless emails and questions. Her encouragement gave me the strength to continue even during the most difficult moments! I am extremely grateful for her support and for the entire team’s dedication to helping families like ours through such a meaningful journey. Highly recommended.

I had the best experience as an egg donor at this clinic. Katrina was very helpful and kind and stayed with me throughout the process. Dr. Mark Trolice and the anesthesiologist were both very kind and made me feel extremely comfortable on the day of the egg retrieval! This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had!

The IVF journey is a roller coaster, but our easiest decision was choosing the IVF Center. They stayed with us throughout, answered our questions, supported us through the pain of miscarriage, and made sure we were ready to try again. We had two successful pregnancies, first with a beautiful baby boy and more recently with a beautiful baby girl. I want to give special thanks to the entire team, especially Christina, Dr. Trollice, and the office staff, who consistently treated us with exceptional care and warmth. We recommend choosing them for this journey. From our experience, it is absolutely worthwhile, and they will take excellent care of you!

My experience at the IVF Center was wonderful! The staff were knowledgeable and provided exceptional care and support throughout this emotional process. This is my second IVF baby, and I previously visited two other clinics. The IVF Center provided the best experience by far, and I highly recommend Dr. Statmaur ♥️. She is approachable, easy to communicate with, and highly experienced in assisted reproductive medicine. The clinic staff were also excellent, including reception, the embryologists, phlebotomists, and even the interns. I had thought my chances of becoming pregnant again were low, but the staff's encouragement made the entire process much easier. At this clinic, I never felt like a number; I felt seen and understood. 🥰 I am very glad I chose this clinic to help bring my daughter into the world.

I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and referred to the IVF Center in Winter Park, where I was assigned to Dr. Statmaur and her team. With their help, we tried several medicated cycles with timed intercourse without success. The doctor then told me I was a suitable candidate for IVF. After one round of medication, egg retrieval, and freezing, we completed an embryo transfer and became pregnant. The process was difficult, but I trusted the IVF Center team to do everything possible to help me achieve the desired outcome. Appointments were generally prompt and efficient. Only once was I delayed because the doctor next door was performing a procedure, but I did not mind because I hoped the woman receiving treatment was being properly cared for rather than rushed. I am very grateful for everything the IVF Center team and staff did, including every blood draw, every ultrasound, and every warm word of encouragement.

I visited this location twice and felt that both visits were a waste of time and money. I paid both times but received no satisfactory outcome. If your weight or skin color does not meet certain standards, good luck.

We had an amazing experience with Dr. Tolice, our coordinator, Christina and the rest of the nursing staff. Our little boy arrived safe and sound the end of January after a successful IVF journey. If we decide on a 2nd, we will be back!

Dr. Trolice and his team gave me tremendous support throughout my fertility journey. My husband and I came here a year ago to explore infertility treatment options. Dr. Trolice always patiently explained each step and asked how we felt before moving forward. Everyone, from the front desk and financial office to the nurses, made me feel very comfortable. Today I graduated from the clinic, and leaving was bittersweet, but I can say with certainty that I am leaving after a successful IVF cycle. 💛💛

My wife and I have been through a long journey with the IVF center. Lots of ups and downs but they were always welcoming, attentive, nice and available whenever we needed them. The one person that was with us pretty much the whole time and was really a highlight because she was so caring, so patient and just made journey a lot easier was Christina. She truly is the best! Thank you Christina, Dr. Stadmauer, and the whole team in office and in the lab!!

I highly recommend the IVF Center, especially Dr. Stadmauer, for providing the best care throughout this long and difficult process. We came to this clinic after a terrible experience at another fertility clinic in Orlando. We initially consulted Dr. Trolice, but during a procedure we met Dr. Stadmauer, who was only overseeing my care that day. After meeting her, however, we decided to have her treat us personally. It was the best decision we had made in a long time.
Dr. Stadmauer is warm, highly skilled, professional, and deeply understanding. Being treated by her feels like being cared for by a mother. She has a special way of delivering both good and bad news with thoughtfulness and compassion.
The entire clinic team is highly professional and does everything possible to ensure the best treatment conditions before an embryo transfer or any other procedure. Compared with the clinic I previously attended, which felt like a fast-food restaurant, the difference was remarkable. Everyone is different: some may succeed quickly, while others, like me, may need much longer. Throughout the process, I was treated with respect and never felt like just a number.
We are now awaiting our miracle and will always be grateful for the opportunity to receive care at the IVF Center. First, we thank Dr. Stadmauer and, of course, every member of her team—Christina, Katrina, Carlos, Olga, Oli, and others—for accompanying us on this journey.
We will always appreciate their professionalism and feel incredibly fortunate.

Dr. Trolice explained everything in great detail, so we fully understood the process before beginning treatment, and his team was always kind and compassionate. I wish I could give an even lower rating.
Dr. Mark Trolice is rude and arrogant and does not listen to his patients' concerns. He seems focused only on numbers rather than taking the time to understand each patient.
He was highly recommended to me during my IVF journey. At the initial consultation, he asked about my menstrual cycle, including whether it was regular and when my last period began. When I opened my period tracker to answer, he rudely interrupted me and said, “Your period tracker is useless to me right now.”
I left the clinic feeling small, ignored, and hurt.
I was not ready to continue treatment with this clinic and Dr. Trolice, so I paused my fertility treatment. When I later decided to continue, I became pregnant naturally (yes, I was shocked too). However, when I returned to Dr. Trolice, he told me my chances of conceiving naturally were “impossible.” He said this after I miscarried in my bathroom at home at 6-7 weeks pregnant. Even worse, he could not even locate my gestational sac on the ultrasound.
Although I cannot detail everything I experienced in this review, I do not recommend Dr. Mark Trolice. I believe his reputation is undeserved.
Before deciding, be sure to check with your insurance company to see whether there are other in-network doctors.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to the IVF Center for changing our lives. After years of waiting, praying, heartbreak, setbacks, and tears, we finally welcomed our beautiful twins, and none of it would have been possible without Dr. Mark Trolice, Christina, and the entire team.
IVF is one of life's most emotional journeys. It tests your courage, patience, and faith. At times, I felt hopeless and wondered whether our dream of becoming parents would ever come true. But this team never gave up hope. They continued to give us hope and treated us with exceptional compassion, consideration, and genuine care at every step.
Dr. Trolice is not only highly knowledgeable and skilled but also deeply caring. Christina, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your empathy, comfort, and constant presence through every high and low meant more than words can say. You made me feel understood and cared for and ensured I was not alone on this journey.
People often say IVF is not for the faint of heart, and honestly, I did not think I was strong enough. But I was fortunate to have a strong support system and a team that carried me through the hardest days.
Now, every laugh, hug, sleepless night, and milestone with our twins reminds us of the miracle you helped create. Thank you for making our family possible. We will carry this gratitude forever. 🤍👶👶✨

After several years of trying to conceive naturally, we decided to begin IVF. We initially tried other clinics without success, which left us deeply discouraged. After researching our options, we found Dr. Trolice and his IVF team. They were supportive, honest, and empathetic about our situation. Dr. Trolice patiently explained every step and always answered our questions honestly. The clinic staff, including the front desk, phlebotomists, nursing team, and especially IVF coordinator Christina, were thoughtful and understanding, making every visit easier. The IVF Center's patient portal, Fertine, made it very convenient to track appointments and test results and greatly reduced my stress throughout treatment. Overall, my husband and I felt well supported and confident in our care. After several attempts, we are thrilled to announce that we became parents to a beautiful baby boy born in March 2026. I recommend Dr. Trolice and the entire IVF Center team to anyone ready to begin IVF and pursue their dream of building a family.

Dr. Trollis took excellent care of me. What I appreciated most was that he gave me several options so I could choose the treatment best suited to my circumstances. Did I want to begin with the most aggressive approach, or try something less intensive first? He understood the important role emotions play and that the process is deeply personal. I now have two children and could not be happier!

Good evening. First, I want to say how good my God is. My wife and I initially began our IVF journey under Dr. Trolice. At first, everything went well. We learned that the issue was with me, and I received prescription medication to address it. We continued under his care, but during one meeting he loudly and rudely told us it would never happen. When I asked questions, he became aggressive. We left and never returned. We were shocked and disappointed by how he spoke to and treated us. Nevertheless, we continued with another fertility clinic, and as I write this I am holding my newborn daughter. I am sharing this so anyone facing a difficult infertility journey will not give up, regardless of what one person or even twelve people say. God is in control, so continue your journey. No one can deny what He has for you.
