Dr. Zitao Liu, Kyrgyzstan

Dr. Zitao Liu is an internationally recognized reproductive medicine specialist and founder of the North American Chinese Obstetricians and Gynecologists Association. He serves on the Faculty Committee at Tufts University School of Medicine and the Global Health and International Collaboration Committee at Tufts Medical Center. His honors include the Philip P. McGovern, Jr., MD Teaching Award from Tufts University School of Medicine and a medical student teaching award from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is also a member of the Minority Affairs Committee of the Society for the Study of Reproduction and received the Lalor Foundation Travel Award at its 36th annual meeting.

Dr. Liu advocates mild-stimulation IVF (Mild-Stim IVF) and has extensive expertise in assisted reproductive technology (ART). His clinical and research experience covers a range of IVF ovarian stimulation protocols, and he develops individualized treatment plans for each patient. He has performed a high volume of egg retrievals and embryo transfers compared with peers in the United States.
