Dr. Ashley Chung Soo Bee

Dr. Ashley Chung Soo Bee graduated with honors in Russia and earned an MD. She then became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She worked for the Malaysian Ministry of Health at several tertiary hospitals across the country for ten years.

Dr. Ashley has a special interest in infertility and IVF and has trained in reproductive medicine and fertility treatment. She keeps current by attending courses and international conferences. She is also a member of ASPIRE (Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction) and MMA (Malaysian Medical Association).

In addition to helping organize courses and workshops for O&G trainees nationwide, she conducts research in her specialty. She contributes her expertise to training future obstetricians and gynecologists through OGSM (Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia).

Dr. Ashley provides comprehensive fertility consultation and treatment, antenatal follow-up through delivery, and management of gynecological conditions.

    All the staff, including the doctors, nurses, and customer service team, provide first-class service. If I had one complaint, it would be the wait most of the time, but that is understandable. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

    This was our first time coming here for IVF, but there is a lot that needs improvement. We came because we expected a large institution like Sunway to provide good service. First, we found a lack of communication between the doctor's clinic and the fertility center. Some of the misunderstandings involved medications and dosing instructions. Second, we were dissatisfied with the embryology service. After egg retrieval, they gave us no report or written documentation. We only received a phone call, and when we asked about embryo grading, they ignored us. Third, despite having a doctor's appointment, we still had to wait in a long line. I would not expect such a long wait even at a public hospital. These are the three main reasons we do not plan to return for treatment. We are disappointed because we paid a great deal here, yet the service fell far below expectations. I hope the center improves its service in the future. Thank you.
