Dr. Syeda Nureena Zaidi

Dr. Syeda Nureena Zaidi graduated from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, in 2005 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). She completed foundation training in Scotland and worked at Vale of Leven Hospital before returning to Malaysia.

Dr. Syeda earned a master's degree in obstetrics and gynecology from the University of Malaya in 2013 and has since worked as a lecturer and clinical specialist. Her time at the University of Malaya strengthened her ability to manage obstetric and gynecological cases and complications with confidence and clarity.

Dr. Syeda has a special interest in reproductive medicine and infertility. She has attended fertility and laparoscopic workshops and is a member of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE). She also spent a year in Australia, completing subspecialty training in reproductive medicine and fertility at Pivet Medical Centre and Perth Day Surgery Centre in 2019.

Dr. Syeda hopes her experience and knowledge will help couples overcome the obstacles they face in building the family they have always wanted.

All the staff, including the doctors, nurses, and customer service team, provide first-class service. If I had one complaint, it would be the wait most of the time, but that is understandable. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

This was our first time coming here for IVF, but there is a lot that needs improvement. We came because we expected a large institution like Sunway to provide good service. First, we found a lack of communication between the doctor's clinic and the fertility center. Some of the misunderstandings involved medications and dosing instructions. Second, we were dissatisfied with the embryology service. After egg retrieval, they gave us no report or written documentation. We only received a phone call, and when we asked about embryo grading, they ignored us. Third, despite having a doctor's appointment, we still had to wait in a long line. I would not expect such a long wait even at a public hospital. These are the three main reasons we do not plan to return for treatment. We are disappointed because we paid a great deal here, yet the service fell far below expectations. I hope the center improves its service in the future. Thank you.
