I am very surprised by some of the negative reviews here. I know individual experiences may vary, but ours was wonderful. This was our second fertility clinic. Since I was already 44 and had no normal embryos after our previous retrieval—we had one, but it did not pass PGT-A—we decided to use donor eggs. We chose PNW because of its streamlined donor egg program, which was one of the best I found in terms of cost and options. They were extremely helpful throughout the process, especially during the embryo transfer and preparation stages. Both the Bellevue team and the Seattle nursing team were responsible, supportive, considerate, and with us every step of the way. Our only concern was the lack of clarity about insurance coverage, but once that was resolved, the transfer team, doctors, and nurses were wonderful! We are now 9 weeks pregnant. It is still early, and we are praying everything goes well, but we are very pleased with both the outcome and the care. I would absolutely recommend this clinic.

After a terrible experience at Seattle Reproductive Medicine, I transferred to Pacific Northwest Fertility (PNWF), and the experience was completely different. My doctor and care team were compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about me. IVF is a challenging journey, and having a team that truly supports you is essential. Every doctor, nurse, and staff member I met treated me with kindness and respect. I am very grateful for their attentive care and highly recommend my doctor, Dr. Tsai, and this clinic to anyone undergoing fertility treatment.

The entire process was disorganized and frustrating. You must call to book, and no confirmation is sent afterward. I booked with one doctor, but a different doctor conducted the Zoom consultation.

We had a terrible experience with PNW Fertility and would not recommend it. I visited the Bellevue location for a repeat hysterosalpingogram (HSG), and I must say the staff were professional and friendly and the clinic was clean and comfortable. However, the HSG showed bilateral tubal blockage, and because we did not want IVF, our doctor seemed completely uninterested in helping us find other treatment options. She gave us a list of about 15 doctors who “might” treat blocked fallopian tubes. I spent considerable time calling them to confirm whether they could help. Most could not. I eventually found a doctor who could, but he was at another fertility clinic and was not on PNW's list. PNW then seemed to have great difficulty sending my medical records to the new clinic. I understand that PNW cannot treat every condition, but I expect its doctors to refer patients to a provider who can actually treat their condition. Sending patients on a frustrating and hopeless search for care is unacceptable.

The doctor and staff were kind. We felt valued and heard.

Without a doubt, working with PNWF was the worst experience. To them, you are nothing but money.

I had two egg retrievals. Dr. Cottrell and her team were very responsive and patiently explained everything, which put me at ease. I was pleased with my experience and would recommend this clinic.

Terrible experience. The staff were dismissive and unresponsive, and at one point even joked about the frightening symptoms/side effects I reported. With no acknowledgment or solutions offered, I had to advocate relentlessly for myself to be taken seriously and felt deceived. This reflects a broader problem: the clinic focuses so heavily on metrics such as egg count and treatment outcomes that it neglects patients' emotional, psychological, and physical well-being.

My wife recently graduated from PNWF, and we are looking forward to our first OB/GYN visit. Our journey has been long, spanning nearly two years, and we feel very fortunate to have chosen Dr. Massie and PNWF! Communication was efficient and warm. We usually received updates from the team on the day of our visits by email, phone, or voicemail. Special thanks to Anna, Megan, and Kim. All our questions received prompt, clear answers, usually within a few hours. Appointments were very convenient. One thing we appreciated about PNWF is that it is open almost every day, including weekends and holidays. Although my wife did not see Dr. Massie at every visit, all the doctors and nurse practitioners she met were professional and very friendly. We also knew that Dr. Massie reviewed and discussed results with the team, so we felt completely reassured. If you are considering donor eggs, note that PWNF accepts only fresh egg donors and does not accept frozen eggs from other egg banks, apart from its own. Scheduling a fresh egg donor usually takes longer, but it worked smoothly in our case.

Very modern and clean clinic and all the doctors and nurses and staff were super nice and experienced.

I am furious about this agency's disregard for intended parents. A friend agreed to donate her eggs because she did not plan to have children herself and was approaching the upper age limit for donation. She decided to forgo compensation because this was also her opportunity to have a biological child, we would cover all medical expenses, and our child could have a relationship with their biological mother. However, after communicating with PNWF, she said the PNWF staff encouraged her to request compensation. Considering all factors, including success rates and costs, our agency had recommended that we use their services. Three years later, our friend said she regretted not doing so. She said that during her communications with PNWF, they repeatedly told her she should not donate eggs without compensation, which clouded her judgment. I know private agencies pay donors. But this is our hard-earned money, and we want a child; this is not for entertainment. PNWF's blatant disregard for IPs is simply barbaric, inhumane, and selfish. If you are an intended parent, you should avoid them.

This produced the worst results of my three IVF egg retrievals. My insurance does not cover IVF, so I paid out of pocket, and this retrieval yielded nothing. I had two virtual appointments with Dr. Lamb to ensure she understood the problems with my previous two retrievals and to discuss different approaches. I explained our previous cycle problems in great detail. She insisted that I needed a specific protocol and said I should “advocate” for it whether I chose her clinic or another. She even criticized my previous clinic for triggering too early and told us not to use another clinic we were considering because her laboratory was the best. Yet she did exactly what my previous clinic had done, using only half their trigger-shot dose. She retrieved half as many eggs, and I ended up with no embryos. At least my other clinic produced one euploid embryo with each retrieval. At our follow-up, she had no answer when asked what she would do differently. She wanted us to repeat the same protocol and expect a different result. That is absurd. I trusted her because during those two consultations she confidently said we would obtain a different result and strongly urged us to choose her clinic over the others we were considering. I deeply regret trusting her. We are no closer to having a child, spent a large amount out of pocket, and wasted what may have been our last chance to become parents. During the consultation, she repeatedly said donor eggs were unnecessary because this was a medical issue that the protocol could resolve. At the follow-up, she reversed her position and said the exact opposite, even though she had already seen data from two retrievals. As others have mentioned, this clinic has excellent salespeople, and I feel she is one of them. She never told us that clinic policy limits the amount of injectable gonadotropins used. I also learned from other patients that they have a policy against using higher doses of stimulation medication. None of this was disclosed. Had we known, we never would have chosen this clinic. When we raised these concerns and noted their poor communication during my cycle, they gaslighted us and said we needed counseling. I deeply regret trusting Dr. Lamb and this clinic. Edit: I requested my medical records from PNWF and found numerous errors, including conditions my child does not have, medications I have never taken, and many false statements attributed to me by Dr. Lamb, while none of her own statements were documented. I completed their process for correcting the record, but it was a farce. Rather than correcting or fully removing the errors, they simply cut them from one section and pasted them together at the bottom of the page. Despite my request for complete removal, the errors remain. I regret any involvement with them and would never recommend them because of their lack of professionalism.

This was absolutely the worst experience at this clinic. The nurses were completely incompetent and unhelpful and seemed entirely uninterested in patients. We had to constantly press them for answers, remind them to check things, and follow up ourselves because they did nothing. Their lack of basic professionalism and compassion made an already stressful process much worse. Without the doctors, this place would be a complete disaster. The nurses are useless and disorganized and cannot provide the level of care expected from a fertility clinic.

The process of trying to become a new patient was very disappointing. Whenever I called, I was sent to voicemail. The online patient forms made every field mandatory but offered no option for a different response when the available fields did not fit my needs. When they returned my first voicemail, I asked them to call me back at 3 p.m. They agreed but did not call. I left another voicemail at 3:45 p.m. and received a callback around 4 p.m. They did not seem concerned that the paperwork system failed to reflect my reason for seeking care. When I said I wanted bloodwork because it was cycle day 1, I was told cycle-related testing would not be performed until after a consultation, which would occur after I completed the paperwork. I completed the paperwork inaccurately simply to submit it through their system and waited for a callback. A few days later, I received a voicemail asking me to schedule a consultation on cycle day 2 or call for testing. Because of this poor experience as a prospective patient, I am seeking care elsewhere.

We had an amazing experience here! Every interaction with the nurses and doctors was positive, respectful, and informative. We saw Dr. Rosenberg and absolutely loved her. She is highly knowledgeable and helped us develop a plan to address our fertility issues. They were always very responsive to any questions. We became pregnant after our first fertility treatment and now have a baby! I will always recommend PNWF to anyone struggling with fertility issues, and I will return when we are ready to try for another child!

We underwent three medicated cycles and two IUIs at PNWF. During that time, about 5 months, we never saw a doctor in person. Every procedure and all education were handled by nurses. Without exaggeration, about 70% of the time I called the clinic, no one answered. There was no callback or any other option, only voicemail. This is incredibly frustrating when you have a medical question! The billing team was also very rude to me. My insurer, Kaiser, asked the billing team to contact them directly by phone, but PNWF's billing team refused, saying they were too busy and it was not part of their job. Finally, when I requested a second opinion, the doctor asked whether we could speak during a 15-minute phone call, for which they charged $200. I later transferred to and graduated from another clinic, where I not only received better treatment but developed a close relationship with my doctor and felt supported and cared for by the team. PNWF does not make enough effort to help every patient feel cared for, and I am glad I did not undergo the emotionally exhausting IVF process with their team. The front desk staff were friendly, however. PNWF also does not validate parking, adding another cost on top of an already very expensive clinic. I would not recommend PNWF to anyone.

As a patient going through IVF for the first time, I received positive encouragement throughout the process. The entire team was very friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Because it was my first time, I asked many relevant and irrelevant questions, and they never dismissed me. Another wonderful aspect is that they work as a team, so you receive the same care regardless of which doctor you are assigned. I was terrified of daily injections, but you can barely feel the needle. Egg retrieval was my favorite part 😋. Thank you to PNWF for accompanying me on this journey, comforting me, and helping whenever I needed extra support, even on weekends. I highly recommend this facility to anyone.
