Dr. Deng is an exceptionally kind and approachable person. She even calls me after work to inform me about medication dosage adjustments. She also helped me overcome my fear of ultrasound examinations (it took me a long time to learn to relax my anus). We tried several times, and she never rushed the process. To be honest, I once thought my surgery would fall through due to my anxiety and fear of ultrasounds. But Dr. Deng provided me with tremendous support throughout this process. She also patiently explained many things, such as egg retrieval, pregnancy, finding a sperm donor, and how to take care of my body as a woman. Dr. Deng is not only highly skilled in medicine but also has an excellent character. I am very fortunate to be her patient. Once, while handling some insurance documents, I happened to see Dr. Deng's detailed profile and discovered that she graduated from Stanford University and Yale School of Medicine! Additionally, Kelly from the billing office has been tirelessly helping me correct mistakes made by the insurance company. I am truly grateful for Kelly's assistance. Kelly's help went beyond her job responsibilities; it was because she worked with me and my insurance company to handle the claims that I was able to get full reimbursement from my employer. It was a long process, but it eventually got resolved, all thanks to Kelly.

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would... I waited a month and a half for a phone consultation, which was required before a formal appointment... I completed all the forms in advance, specifically noted that we wanted a gentle treatment approach, and clearly stated that we were not considering IVF. On the day of the phone consultation, they never called... I called them, was sent directly to voicemail, waited another 15 minutes, called again, and then decided to move on. When they finally called back, I was in the shower. They left a message saying my BMI was too high and they could not help us become pregnant. That was all. After losing two beloved angel babies and struggling with suicidal thoughts and an eating disorder, receiving a message like that was extremely dangerous for me. They later sent a text saying the same thing and added that they could not safely perform IVF for me. If they had reviewed the forms I submitted or actually attended the phone consultation I had waited a month and a half for, they could easily have seen that my husband and I had never considered IVF. Furthermore, BMI is not an accurate way to determine whether you can help someone become pregnant. You do not know my history or my current health, so making such a blanket judgment is very harmful, especially with something as sensitive and emotional as trying to conceive.

I had a wonderful experience at Think Fertility. Dr. Deng is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about her patients. The entire staff was friendly, responsive, and made me feel supported every step of the way. Fertility treatment can be stressful, but their professionalism and compassion made a big difference. My husband and I traveled from out of state specifically to consult with Dr. Deng about natural-cycle IVF or intrauterine insemination (IUI), both of which are prominently advertised on the Think Fertility website. We had been looking for treatment options that would minimize hormonal medication because I have a strong family history of breast cancer and estimate that my lifetime risk is increased by 25%. During the consultation, I made it clear that avoiding unnecessary hormone exposure was an important medical and personal consideration for me. However, I felt that these concerns were immediately dismissed. Instead of having an in-depth discussion about natural-cycle IVF or IUI, the conversation quickly shifted to conventional IVF. When I asked whether Dr. Deng recommended conventional or mini-stimulation IVF, she said our only viable option was fully medicated IVF while describing her standard IVF protocol as "mini-stimulation." Based on the consultation, my husband and I understood that the treatment plan would include one injectable medication and one daily oral medication. When we later received the actual protocol, however, it required four daily injections and three daily oral medications. This was completely different from what had been explained in person. Most frustratingly, we had traveled a long distance specifically to discuss natural-cycle treatments, but despite being advertised on the clinic's website, these options never seemed to be seriously considered. When we directly asked about natural-cycle IVF, the response was essentially that it was not feasible for almost anyone. The experience left us feeling misled and that the clinic's advertised services did not match what it offered. I also felt that important aspects of my medical and fertility history were not given appropriate consideration. I am a healthy 36-year-old woman who had previously conceived naturally without complications. There is no male-factor infertility, and our diagnosis is unexplained infertility. During the consultation, the ultrasound findings appeared reassuring, and Dr. Deng herself said she was confident that my fallopian tubes were not blocked. I understand that doctors may recommend aggressive treatment based on their professional judgment, and I respect that IVF is appropriate for many patients. However, I expected a consultation that seriously considered the treatments we had specifically sought and traveled for, along with a respectful discussion of my concerns about hormone exposure. Instead, it felt as though the doctor was trying to steer us toward conventional IVF regardless of our preferences or risk concerns.

I began working with Jie and her team in April 2025. I first tried intrauterine insemination (IUI), but it was unsuccessful. After several miscarriages, during which they stayed by my side and made sure I was okay, I decided to try in vitro fertilization (IVF). I am so glad I chose them to help me through my IVF cycle. Jie and her entire team, including the medical assistants, are very professional and kind and feel like family to me. My second IVF transfer was successful, and I am now 8 weeks pregnant with my miracle baby, all thanks to their help. I would not have this blessing without them, and I will always be grateful. For thirteen years, my husband and I dreamed of becoming parents. As time passed, we gradually lost hope and began accepting that we might never have a child of our own. Then one day, after a wonderful time with someone else's children, a voice deep inside told me to try one last time before giving up completely. That decision led me to seek infertility treatment. My insurance company initially recommended a clinic in Seattle, but my sister strongly recommended Dr. Deng's clinic because of its success rates and reputation. The process was not easy. I underwent two courses of medication that were physically and emotionally difficult. We lost three large, mature eggs, which was heartbreaking, but Dr. Deng still successfully retrieved 12 medium-sized eggs. Ultimately, only three developed into embryos. With hope, we used the best embryo for an insemination and prayed for a miracle. A year later, the miracle truly arrived. Today, I am holding my wonderful seven-week-old son and celebrating my first Mother's Day in 2026. Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Deng and her outstanding team for helping us achieve our dream. When we had nearly lost hope, they gave it back to us, and because of them, we finally became parents. I will always be grateful and highly recommend their clinic to anyone on a fertility journey. I waited more than nine months after my son was born through IVF to write this full review. I was nearly 40 and had been trying to conceive for almost 8 years. We first tried naturally, then medication while living in California, but neither letrozole nor Clomid worked. We then tried traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture for several years without success. After moving to Bellevue, we tried naturally again and used ovulation-stimulation injections at home, but even an insemination performed by my OB-GYN did not work. She recommended that I consult Dr. Deng, which began our journey together. I was fortunate to meet Dr. Deng when she first practiced on the Eastside. At the time, she shared space with other OB-GYNs, and only she and her assistant Edyta handled everything. My first egg retrieval took place at another clinic in Kirkland because Dr. Deng did not yet have her own clinic. Dr. Deng scheduled appointments, contacted my insurance company, and handled all the difficult administrative work behind the scenes without ever compromising patient care. I quickly saw her extensive expertise in the field—she is also a Stanford graduate—and her warm manner reassured us that we would receive individualized treatment. This was completely different from my care at SRM and RCM in the Bay Area, where patients felt more like numbers. We had hesitated to try IVF until we found the right physician, Dr. Deng. I completed nearly three IVF cycles. During the second retrieval, I did not respond well for some reason and could not proceed with embryo transfer. I was devastated, but Dr. Deng encouraged us to try again when we were ready. During the third cycle, I tried acupuncture, which I believe helped. The cycle was very successful, and the embryo implanted in 2025/5. Dr. Deng now has a thriving new clinic at Overlake, where transfers and retrievals are performed onsite. Every time I visited the new Think Fertility clinic, it was busy. I was not surprised because Dr. Deng is an exceptional physician and may be the best reproductive endocrinologist in the Northwest. Her team has also grown from the original two people. She now has excellent staff who schedule appointments, follow up with patients, and answer portal messages. Everyone strongly supports Dr. Deng’s care. Edyta, Allie, and Dr. Shaw are all wonderful. When my husband traveled, Allie helped administer my injections because I could not do them myself. When I told Dr. Shaw and Dr. Deng that I had vaginismus, they were both extremely patient. They performed examinations gently, gave me sufficient time and space during every ultrasound, and encouraged me. This care far exceeded my expectations. Although my insurance did not cover infertility treatment, Dr. Deng personally contacted the insurer to obtain prior authorization for medication, saving me thousands of dollars. She did everything possible to reduce my costs, and every dollar I spent on infertility treatment at Think Fertility was worthwhile. On 2026/1/15, I gave birth to our miracle baby, all because of Dr. Deng and her team’s dedication to patients. Words cannot express my gratitude. Our son’s middle name is Jie, in honor of Dr. Jie Deng. Her name means “victory” or “triumph” in Chinese. Becoming pregnant after an eight-year journey was an enormous victory for us. The road was difficult, but Think Fertility gave us extraordinary support, and it was all worth it. She made me a mother! I am now enjoying the second week after my baby’s birth. Dr. Deng and her team are wonderful—compassionate, personable, and consistently respectful toward my husband and me. Her approach was individualized, and we never felt like we were receiving a one-size-fits-all protocol. She patiently addressed every question and took time to answer each one thoroughly. Dr. Tosha Shah, another physician at Think Fertility, accompanied me at nearly every visit and was also my main contact at the clinic. She answered every question in detail and always took time to explain each visit, ultrasound, or planned procedure. She responded promptly through the portal, even on weekends. My care felt highly personalized, and I left every appointment feeling positive. The nursing staff were also warm and friendly. They always asked how my day was going and encouraged me. Appointments were easy to arrange because the front desk staff were very efficient. Even the billing department was excellent and patiently helped us understand our fertility insurance coverage. Dr. Deng and her team created an atmosphere of hope and positivity, exactly what we needed during this journey.

Dr. Deng and the medical team at Think Fertility are excellent. We decided to pursue IVF in month 12 last year and had a very positive experience. We retrieved two normal embryos, which are now frozen. The process was smooth, every step was clearly explained, and expectations were realistic. They also paid special attention to my thyroid medication, which I greatly appreciated. Before egg retrieval, Dr. Deng adjusted my stimulation medication dosage to improve the chances of obtaining high-quality embryos. She creates an individualized treatment plan for each patient and never pressures anyone to make a rushed, uninformed decision. Overall, we were very satisfied with their service and care.
