Center for Reproductive Health & Gynecology

Sam Najmabadi, MD

Here at the Center for Reproductive Health & Gynecology (CRH&G), we are committed to providing patients from throughout Los Angeles, California with comprehensive fertility treatments from our offices conveniently located in Beverly Hills, CA, and Punta Mita, Mexico. We have an onsite fertility laboratory, enabling us to provide a variety of fertility treatments and services including egg freezing, in vitro fertilization, low-tech reproductive treatments, fertility assessments, and preimplantation genetic diagnostics. In addition, we are available to help you pursue surrogacy or egg donor services. Our strength lies in our ability to provide both the simple and the most advanced treatments.

We believe that it is important for you to be informed about the available treatments, procedures, and alternatives. It’s easy to feel nervous and overwhelmed by the complex nature of fertility treatments, especially with medical terms you might be unfamiliar with. We want your experience with us to be as comfortable as possible. Remember, understanding your treatment is essential to helping you feel that you are in control, rather than that the fertility is controlling you.

It is our goal to help you understand your situation and treatment options in terms that make sense to you. Some of the things you might want to know could include the purpose of a test, how and where the test is done, how it will feel, how you will receive your test results, and how much the test costs. You may also have questions about medications and the impact of the treatment on your schedule.

Dr. Nagy is an exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled physician. I have seen doctors in four different countries, and I can honestly say that finding him after moving to the United States was a blessing. He provided the right treatment plan, and without him we might not have our miracle baby. Dr. Nagy was very dedicated throughout my high-risk pregnancy. He always answered my emergency calls and ensured I received prompt care. His team was also wonderful, especially Selena, who was always there for me and patiently responded to my countless messages during pregnancy. At his clinic, I received exceptional support and truly professional care. I always recommend Dr. Nagy to anyone seeking a highly skilled, compassionate fertility specialist. He is an excellent doctor, and I sincerely thank him for his expertise, dedication, and guidance throughout this life-changing journey. 🙏 Dr. Nagy, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🙏

My experience was extremely poor, and I felt my health was endangered by untrained staff and questionable practices. Fertility preservation and care at CRHG felt more like a business transaction than healthcare. I visited CRHG 3 times. There were many reasons I felt unsafe: 1) I had never had a transvaginal ultrasound. The physician and nurse did not ask whether I had experienced one or prepare me for what would happen. It was very painful for me; outside CRHG, I later learned that I had endometriosis. 2) Next were blood tests for my husband and me. I am immunocompromised and very familiar with having more than 40 vials drawn at once after years of testing, which normally takes no more than 5–10 minutes. Nearly all trained nurses have difficulty drawing from my veins and therefore usually draw from my hand. This blood draw at CRHG was the greatest warning sign I have ever experienced in healthcare. My husband and I were taken to a side room, where a new employee—it was literally her first week—began drawing my blood. She asked what I did, and while we talked, I learned that she had recently left a job at McDonald’s and received a medical assistant certificate. Her former job did not concern me, but her subsequent actions did. She did not wash her hands before drawing my blood. When the first needle did not produce blood, she moved it around inside my hand, trying to enter the vein. After several unsuccessful attempts, she sought help. More than 3 office employees surrounded me and tried to draw blood; none succeeded. Finally, a woman who appeared more qualified arrived. She noted that the former McDonald’s employee was holding the vial incorrectly for blood to flow—she held it too high, above my hand, preventing blood from entering it. With this experienced employee’s help, they removed the first incorrectly inserted needle and requested another. The former McDonald’s employee handed her a needle. The experienced woman reconsidered and pointed out that the needle had already been opened rather than removed from a sealed package, creating safety, hygiene, and cleanliness concerns. She firmly told the new employee to provide a completely new, unopened needle. Thank God for this woman, because I do not know what could have happened or what I might have contracted from an unsterile needle. After more than 40 minutes of attempted blood draws, they finally collected enough to fill the vials. I was pale and unwell, so much so that one employee stayed after working hours to ensure I did not faint. 3) After the failed blood draw, we went to check out. I used the restroom while my husband waited. As I left, they told him I would need a driver for an X-ray test, the HSG. Confused, he asked why. They said I would need Valium and assistance. Dr. Najmabadi had never mentioned the risk or need for sedation during the HSG. My husband declined to schedule it and considered this another warning sign. Later, during our follow-up and final meeting with Dr. Najmabadi, he asked when we would schedule the HSG. We responded that we did not want to proceed or undergo further testing. He replied sarcastically, ‘I bet you Googled how painful an HSG is and became afraid.’ 4) At our final meeting, the physician did not even provide all our test results. He was happy to take a phone call, however, and still charged us the full fee. I now work with another fertility provider at a highly reputable, top 5 hospital in the country. I reviewed my CRHG experience with them, and they were shocked, to say the least. My current physician specifically said that pushing an HSG was wrong and entirely inappropriate for my case.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Naj and his team from beginning to end. He cared deeply about me and took time to determine how to give me the best outcome. His team was kind and made me feel like family. I have seen many physicians, and I can honestly say Dr. Naj is superior in many ways. Thank you for everything! :)

Dr. Najmabadi and his staff are wonderful. I immediately felt supported and cared for and knew this was the right clinic for me. All my questions were answered, and Dr. Najmabadi was always available. His calm, professional manner immediately put me at ease. His staff are also exceptional, and I developed a close relationship with Diana Garcia. I was nervous about needles, and she immediately helped me relax. Thank you again!

I absolutely love Dr. Najmabadi. I underwent two rounds of IVF at age 37, resulting in a set of triplets. Dr. Najmabadi has a great sense of humor and is very knowledgeable. Thank you for changing my life.

Dr. Najmabadi and his team are the best. They are reliable, communicative, punctual, and friendly. Most importantly, he and his team are trusted experts in the field. Spencer Wells, the ultrasound technician, was extremely thoughtful and helpful in assisting me with imaging files that had previously been provided to me on CD. I highly recommend this all-star medical practice to anyone.

Terrible experience - unprofessional and financially driven My experience with Dr. Najmabadi was one of the worst and most painful experiences of my life. About two or three years ago, I went to him for IVF treatment because my husband had a low sperm count. He initially gave us hope because I had many healthy eggs. Despite retrieving about 30 eggs, he gave us only one embryo after genetic testing. He claimed that 18 eggs were of the best quality, yet somehow they produced only one embryo, which seemed suspicious. Worse still, this single embryo resulted in a blighted ovum with no baby inside. Throughout the process, Dr. Najmabadi pushed additional treatments, such as PRP treatment for my uterus and unnecessary IV infusions for my husband. This felt like nothing more than an attempt to make more money from us. After the IVF failed, he suggested donor sperm, even though he had previously assured us that my husband's sperm was not a major issue. The entire experience was painful. After the egg retrieval, I was in extreme pain. Instead of providing appropriate care, they sent me home with a weak pain reliever that did nothing to ease my suffering. When I sought help, they told me to go to the emergency room during the height of the pandemic, leaving me feeling abandoned and afraid. After taking a year to recover from this terrible experience, I sought a second opinion. My new doctor was shocked by how the case had been handled. He questioned why Dr. Najmabadi had produced only one embryo from 18 healthy eggs and was concerned that they had not released all my laboratory records. My new doctor successfully performed IVF on the first attempt. The egg retrieval was not painful; they first made sure I was comfortable before sending me home. I now have a healthy one-year-old son. Dr. Najmabadi's approach is entirely financially driven. He seems more concerned with maintaining a lavish lifestyle than providing appropriate care. If you are considering IVF, I strongly recommend finding a doctor who genuinely cares about your health rather than trying to profit from your struggle. My experience with Dr. Najmabadi was a nightmare, and I regret ever trusting him.
