Dr. Turek posted a video on YouTube claiming to be an expert in testicular implants. In the video, he showcased a silicone testicular implant (which he said he helped develop). I was dissatisfied with my previous implant, so I found a local doctor and switched to the model he showed in the video. It felt terrible after the switch. As he said, they weren't good, so I switched again. It felt like a hard object the size of a golf ball stuffed into the scrotum. During sexual encounters (with two different people on different occasions), the person massaging my sensitive skin immediately noticed my testicle was fake. It ruined the mood, and I gave up on finding a partner for a while. The blow of losing my testicles was already painful enough, and this experience only made it worse. I wish I had never watched that video, because the implants he showcased felt completely wrong. I really wanted to like them. Dr. Turek deleted my YouTube comment. I also sent a message to his office wanting to talk to Dr. Turek, but they never replied. I wanted to discuss the product I was very satisfied with. Eventually, I found a product called Eurosilicone, manufactured by GC Aesthetics in France (in another country). I really like them. They are miniaturized, oval-shaped, gel-filled breast implants, the same type that received FDA approval in the US for women back in 2012. This product feels so natural that I almost forget I have prosthetic testicles. It comes in four different sizes. I regained my confidence in intimate situations, and no one has guessed that my scrotum contains fake testicles. The sample might feel a bit soft, but something very magical happens after implantation. The body/scrotum forms a tissue capsule around it, giving it the same firmness as a real testicle while still feeling soft to the touch like a real one. No one would guess they are fake (and it can even fool many doctors). Even the small tab used to secure the implant grows some tissue around it, feeling just like the epididymis. This product is sold in about 71 countries, has been on the market for over 10 years, and comes with a lifetime replacement warranty. I've seen videos of plastic surgeons driving over gel-filled breast implants without them rupturing. This product is very durable. But it is not available in the US because, given marketing and financial realities, this French company simply cannot compete with giants like Johnson & Johnson and Allergan in the US. Big companies make a fortune from women, so they see no need to launch a male-specific product. Urologists like Dr. Turek haven't requested it either. The US might not get this male-specific product for 20 years. Dr. Turek deleted my comment because he doesn't want you to know this product exists. He has been involved in developing testicular implants; perhaps he is not as knowledgeable as he claims. The implant technology he offers is outdated, and he should collaborate with major US medical device companies to seek approval for gel-filled products. To be fair, regarding male testicular implants, the entire country is at least a decade behind the rest of the world. Dr. Turek is unwilling to admit this. Maybe he doesn't even realize it himself. But deleting comments about products available in other countries doesn't solve anything.

An excellent experience. I recommend Dr. Turek to anyone needing a vasectomy. Here is an overview of my experience. First, I had a Zoom consultation with Molly. She answered all my questions and explained the procedure step by step, including what to expect on the day of surgery and during the following week. I then scheduled the procedure. On the day of surgery, I arrived and first met nurse Sophia, who checked my vital signs and performed a brief examination before I met Dr. Turek. Dr. Turek then entered the room, asked about my concerns, answered several questions, and performed a brief physical exam. Afterward, Sophia returned and took me to the operating room. Once I changed into a surgical gown, the interesting part began. I chose to inhale the laughing gas they offered (nitrous oxide), which I personally found very helpful during the procedure. It was my first time using laughing gas. It truly calmed me and relieved the pain of the anesthetic injection because I did not feel the needle at all. Once the gas took effect, Dr. Turek came in and explained that he would describe each step as he worked. I was lying down under a blanket, so I could not see. He then told me he was about to inject the anesthetic. As I said, I felt nothing, so either the laughing gas worked or his technique was excellent. He guided me through the anesthesia on both sides, and the entire procedure was finished in about ten minutes. I got dressed, and my wife drove me home. They prescribed pain medication. I took some as a precaution but stopped after only two tablets because I had no pain the next day. I also had no bruising the next day, only mild swelling that resolved by evening. I applied ice briefly the night of surgery and again the next day. Overall, this may have been the best vasectomy experience possible. I had no pain before, during, or after the procedure. Not everyone may have the same experience, but I would recommend Dr. Turek to anyone who asks about my procedure and where I had it done. Molly and Sophia were also wonderful and very helpful throughout the process.

The Turek Clinic was the best choice for my no-scalpel vasectomy. Dr. Turek clearly knows what he is doing, and compared with my nervous expectations, the procedure was easy. He has an excellent bedside manner and a good sense of humor, and his staff are friendly and professional. If you are considering a vasectomy, I cannot recommend this clinic and Dr. Turek's no-scalpel approach highly enough. I experienced very little pain—it never truly exceeded 3/10 with proper rest and icing—and recovery had almost no effect on my daily life. Three months later, my fertility results were completely clear, and the procedure appears to have been 100% successful! Thank you, Dr. Turek!
