Without a doubt, my husband and I believe Central Iowa Fertility is the best fertility clinic we have ever worked with. After years of struggling with infertility, six egg retrievals, and seven embryo transfers at other clinics, we had nearly lost hope. Everything changed when we found Central Iowa Fertility and Dr. Place. With the help of Dr. Place and his exceptional team, we welcomed our miracle baby after just one IVF cycle. From our first visit, we felt heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Place patiently answered our questions, explained every step of treatment, and developed a plan that gave us confidence and hope. What truly sets this clinic apart is its staff. Everyone we met was kind, compassionate, and fully invested in our fertility journey. They celebrated every milestone with us, from the positive pregnancy test and ultrasounds to finally bringing our baby home. During a process that is often intensely stressful and emotional, they made us feel like family, not just patients. Words cannot fully express how grateful we are to Central Iowa Fertility for helping us build our family. Today was our first visit, and words cannot express my gratitude. The front desk and administrative staff were welcoming and attentive. The nurse was kind and efficient, Dr. Cooper was knowledgeable and thorough and truly listened and explained everything, and the blood-draw nurse was gentle. Appointments can be emotional and stressful, but we left hopeful, supported, and genuinely cared for. Everyone was outstanding. We deeply appreciate this clinic, Dr. Cooper, and his team.

Dr. Place is highly skilled. After four specialists, a urologist referred us here. No other doctor provided so much detailed information at the first visit. He also arranged a laboratory test immediately so we did not have to return another day. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone frustrated by doctors who do not do enough.

The front desk staff were extremely rude and put me on hold before I had finished speaking. They were also careless and missed the ultrasound order. It was a terrible experience. Do not waste your time or money at this awful clinic.

Excellent communication and medical care. We drove three hours to this clinic. They tried various approaches and medications. After multiple failures, caused more by my health than their methods or techniques, their embryo transfer program ultimately helped us achieve pregnancy.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Poor communication, no accountability, and no flexibility. If you want to waste time and receive inconsistent care, this is the perfect place!

Central Iowa Fertility has a highly dedicated professional team. From the front desk to the doctors, the entire experience was excellent. I had a wonderful conversation with Dr. Young. He is very humble and listens well. I would recommend this clinic anytime.

I want to encourage anyone who may receive bad news at this clinic. After my first visit with Dr. Cooper, I felt hopeful, but at the second visit I was told nothing could be done and my chance of conceiving naturally was under 6%. The doctor delivered this coldly. I received no help or support and barely understood what was happening because I was shocked. I felt he wanted me to leave because I would not succeed. His energy after the first visit and coldness after the second surprised me. I sought a second opinion at another local fertility clinic. They treated me for several months without success, but I appreciated that they tried different approaches, since Dr. Cooper had offered no alternatives. I later conceived naturally and now have a beautiful 4-month-old boy. I hope this offers hope to someone, because I wish I had seen more stories like mine during that difficult time.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone is kind and helpful. After my eighth intrauterine insemination, two miscarriages, and one chemical pregnancy, I was ready to give up. Dr. Yang encouraged me to try once more. Almost a year later, I did. Dr. Yang performed that procedure, and now I have a healthy 5-year-old son and a 23-month-old daughter. Thank you all. Did I mention that I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)? Six months before my first IUI, my PCP prescribed Tri-Sprin-Tec, a birth-control pill, to reduce the size of my ovaries.

We are so grateful we started seeing Dr. Place at MIF! At our first visit, we completed tests my regular OB-GYN had not recommended or offered, and developed a plan for unexplained secondary infertility. Our first intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycle was successful, and we cannot wait to welcome our baby!

We had an excellent experience at Mid Iowa Fertility. My husband and I both felt greatly supported and cared for by Dr. Place and the staff. When I had concerns over a holiday weekend, Dr. Place responded quickly and moved my appointment earlier to reassure me.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have found Mid Iowa Fertility. For years, even before trying to have children, I searched for the cause of my symptoms so they would not create problems when we wanted a baby. During my consultation, Dr. Young identified within five minutes a likely cause of our two previous miscarriages and my other problems. He had a suspicion, and routine diagnostic procedures confirmed he was right. I could not believe he found the answer so quickly after I had searched for so long. We scheduled surgery to correct my septate uterus and remove a uterine polyp. Soon afterward, we began trying, and after only two attempts, we conceived our lovely daughter, Everly Mae. Mid Iowa Fertility cared for me attentively throughout. Whenever a symptom frightened me, they arranged an ultrasound. They truly understood how difficult that uncertain period was and made me feel cared for and reassured. At 8–9 weeks pregnant, I had my final ultrasound at the clinic. When I walked out, the women at the front desk cheered and congratulated me on graduating, bringing tears to my eyes. I am writing this now while holding my beautiful miracle baby as she sleeps. Thank you, Mid Iowa Fertility, for making our dream come true. And thank you, Dr. Young, for taking the time to listen. It truly changed our lives. I thank God that I came to this clinic and met Dr. Cooper. He is an excellent doctor who helped me conceive 2 pregnancies. Unfortunately, my body did not retain my first baby, but the second time, thank God, I now have my baby in my arms. I am very grateful to everyone. My wife and I had been trying to have a child for a very long time, more than 13 years. We spent the longest time at the University of Iowa. It was the biggest mistake of our lives. My wife had an ectopic pregnancy, and they believed her fallopian tubes were the cause. They removed her tubes, so IVF became the only option. We still had no success at the University of Iowa. We decided to drive to Central Iowa Fertility Center for a second option. We met Dr. Cooper, who was wonderful. The staff there is first-rate, and they do not make you feel unimportant as the university clinic did. We tried several times at Central Iowa Fertility Center and conceived, but miscarried. Our insurance benefits were exhausted, so we could not continue. Some people are simply unlucky, but I highly recommend them because the staff showed us care and compassion at our lowest point. Thank you to Central Iowa Fertility Center for everything, especially Dr. Cooper.

This is not an enjoyable place to have to visit as a patient, but our experience with the medical team and staff was very positive. Dr. Place and all the nurses were very kind and encouraging through every high and low, and we felt supported by all of them!
