Our experience with Dr. Bou Nemer and the team at IVF Florida was wonderful. The nurses were an essential source of support throughout treatment and took exceptional care of their patients. Claudia, Noemi, Priscilla, and Melany gave us care and support at every step. Dr. Bou Nemer consistently developed highly effective treatment plans, and my treatment was ultimately successful! I would absolutely recommend IVF Florida ❤️

Today we graduated from IVF Florida! That is certainly a good thing, but it is very difficult to say goodbye to the wonderful team here, who have become such an important part of our lives!
From day one, Dr. Hoyos was there for us, patiently answering all our questions and developing a plan for our second IVF cycle that ultimately led to significant improvement. Johanna was warm, encouraging, and patient while we searched for a pharmacy, and she answered every question we asked with the same patience. We looked forward to chatting with Noemi at every ultrasound and with Priscilla and Melany at every blood draw. They always brought such positive, uplifting energy. Everyone there felt like a friend!
We are so glad we chose IVF Florida and will always be grateful for everything they did to help us build our family. We look forward to returning when we are ready for our second baby!

I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Hoyos’ office and left feeling like it was a complete waste of my co-pay. I never received a callback, follow-up information, or clear next steps after the appointment. The office has been very persistent about collecting payment, but I still have not been able to get the information or communication I was expecting as a patient. Overall, the experience has been disappointing and frustrating due to the lack of follow-through and customer service.

I want to share my experience with friends who, like my husband and me, are looking for a fertility clinic. We arrived full of doubts and anxiety, but after the first consultation, with the help of Dr. Hoyos, we left feeling hopeful and optimistic. Although we haven’t achieved our goal yet, for the first time we felt truly heard. All our questions were answered promptly. The staff is amazing; they recognize you as soon as you arrive at the clinic, and all the processes are surprisingly fast. Daniela is very attentive, listens carefully to all your concerns, and follows up on your progress. Melanie, Claudia, Noemi, and the rest of the team are warm and friendly. Thank you so much!

My experience at IVF Florida has been wonderful. The team has brought so much warmth and care to an emotionally challenging and difficult journey. Seeing their familiar faces at every appointment has been genuinely comforting. 🤍
Priscilla and Melany are both excellent at drawing blood. They are exceptionally gentle, patient, and reassuring, which matters so much when frequent monitoring is required. They even make those nerve-racking early morning appointments much easier.
My nurse Claudia has truly been my angel throughout this process. She is attentive, gentle, and compassionate, and she always remembers the specifics of my case, making me feel seen as a person rather than just a patient. She is always available to answer my questions, reassure me, and encourage me.
My ultrasound technician Noemi also deserves my heartfelt thanks. She is always courteous, gentle, and reassuring during scans, and her calm presence immediately puts me at ease. Even on the hardest days, she treats patients with warmth and positivity, and you can feel how genuinely she cares.
Dr. Bou Nemer has also helped me tremendously throughout this process. She is knowledgeable, science-based, thoughtful, and innovative in her approach. Because my case is complex, I greatly appreciate that she tailors my treatment rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. She is compassionate, practical, and consistently committed to finding the best option for my situation.
IVF is never easy, but having a team that truly cares and supports you makes all the difference. Although my fertility journey is not over, this outstanding group of women has given me hope. I am sincerely grateful for them and for all the care and support they have provided along the way. 🤍

I started my journey with IVF Florida last year after my OBGYN recommended them. The team has been so helpful and kind. Dr hoyos walked me through the process and has kept me updated.
I'm currently doing my first round of IVF. While overwhelming the team at the Gables and Margate location have been so efficient and happy to support.
Noemi at the Gables location has been primarily doing my ultrasounds. She is always smiling and ready to answers my questions.
Melany at Gables location has been primarily doing my blood draw. Another staff member that is always smiling and soothing. Not the biggest fan of needles so I appreciate the words of comfort.
So far my journey has been a great one. I definitely recommend IVF Florida and primary the Coral Gables location.

I am very satisfied with my time receiving treatment at this clinic. From the moment I entered reception, the professionalism, work ethic, and patient care shown by the laboratory technicians, nurses, ultrasound staff, financial staff, and Dr. Hoyos were impeccable. Dr. Hoyos is both professional and compassionate—a truly excellent physician. Thank you all so much. If I could give 10 stars, I would give 10. The website response times and communication were equally excellent.

I actually really liked my doctor, Dr. Hoyos. However, administratively this office is a mess.
Initially, they asked me to keep a credit card on file so they could charge me automatically when there was a bill. I declined, which I’m glad I did.
Before my surgery, I specifically asked for the cost and was told: “Per my insurance, the cost of the procedure would be $331.41 (excluding anesthesia),” which I paid in full. A month later, I was billed hundreds more—and eventually told the total was nearly $1,000, almost 3x the original quote.
They then tried to retroactively call the quote an “estimate,” which is not how it was presented. They also claimed the number came from my insurance, but my insurance company confirmed IVF Florida never contacted them to verify costs.
I have since filed complaints with regulatory agencies. Instead of taking accountability, they have attempted to re-characterize what was clearly communicated after the fact.
If transparency, honesty, and accountability matter to you, be cautious. Dr. Hoyos was great, and I do not believe he is involved in the administrative side.

Last July, my OB-GYN referred me to Dr. Bou Nemer/IVF FL. Everyone I met, from the front desk and finance department to the clinical staff, was wonderful.
I have had countless blood draws in my life, and Melany and Priscilla are the only two phlebotomists I have ever liked. Priscilla is always smiling and talkative.
My nurses, Lauren and Claudia, were very helpful and responsive whenever I needed assistance, especially when I panicked after misreading the instructions.
Noemi, the ultrasound technician, is truly an angel. She is kind and warm and always encouraged me when I needed it most, whether I needed to vent or simply receive a hug.
Most importantly, Dr. Bou Nemer is amazing. She is meticulous and never makes an appointment feel rushed. She strikes the right balance between being direct and compassionate, and my husband and I trust her completely with helping us build our family.
I have spent a great deal of time here over the past nine months, and I am grateful to everyone who made the experience so positive.

Do not go here.
IVF is already one of the most physically and emotionally vulnerable experiences a woman can face. What should have been a physician-guided, supportive process became a nightmare of poor communication, administrative confusion, and lack of empathy.
My coordinator, Lauren Suarez, was consistently unreachable. Portal messages often went unanswered for days, and voicemails were not returned promptly. There was no reliable way to contact the team directly. Instructions from Lauren, the clinic nurses, and the portal also contradicted one another, creating unnecessary confusion when injections and medications had to be precisely timed. Instead of feeling guided, I felt abandoned and left to manage critical steps alone.
Beyond the communication problems, I often felt that I was treated coldly and condescendingly. Professionalism and empathy are essential during such a vulnerable time, but I did not experience them.
I raised concerns repeatedly, yet no meaningful solution was offered. During one phone conversation, I felt that Dr. Bou Nemer raised her voice at me, which made me very uncomfortable.
Administratively, the entire process felt disorganized. This was not only my impression—my husband shared the same concerns, and a close friend and her husband ultimately stopped treatment there because of similar administrative problems.
The only consistently positive part of my experience was the nursing staff at the Coral Gables clinic, especially Claudia. They were warm, friendly, and compassionate.
I hope the clinic makes significant improvements so that no woman undergoing IVF feels unsupported, unheard, or alone during such an important journey.

This company is a joke. The doctors are irresponsible, do not follow up, and seem indifferent. The billing system is a mess, and they are still sending bills more than a year later. There is no transparency. Do not choose them.

They considered the challenges of my living in the Florida Keys and coordinated appointments across offices so I could travel on my days off. My husband and I chose this clinic for IVF treatment. Special recognition goes to Noemí, who performs the ultrasounds. She is highly skilled, very considerate, and reassuring. Melany, who draws blood in the laboratory, is gentle, attentive, and very professional! Nurses Priscilla, Jhoana, and Claudia are also wonderful. I love coming to this office because they truly make you feel like family. Noemi the ultrasound tech is amazing, she truly takes the time to get to know you and makes you feel comfortable during the process and she’s the best and I love her for always making me so welcome when I come in for every visit. Claudia my nurse, she has been my angel through this whole process and has been my support system. She has taken the time to explain everything and ensure that every step of the way that I well supported. The whole office here in coral gables is just phenomenal. Hands down will always recommend and ensure that everyone I know comes here that’s located in Miami. But overall the whole IVF Florida is amazing and I can’t believe how the process has been with them, it’s been so smooth and easy. Not even a single stressful moment throughout the whole process.

I completed two egg retrievals there and have recommended them to many friends. The Margate staff were also very helpful on retrieval days. After my first scheduling call, I decided not even to make an appointment with the recommended doctor. The woman who answered was rude and cold, like a robot. She was abrupt and answered before I had finished asking questions. When they requested my husband’s insurance information simply to schedule an appointment, I knew something seemed suspicious, since I had my own insurance and member ID. I asked ChatGPT whether this was normal, and it said no: they might be checking which spouse had better coverage and trying to use that plan, and I might consider another clinic because this was unusual. When I told the woman I would have to call back because I did not have his wallet and insurance card available, she nearly hung up on me. Was she serious? Is Mikaela okay? That was her name! Perhaps someone more caring and considerate in their explanations should answer calls as the first point of contact for your company.

I recently graduated from the clinic at 10 weeks pregnant and wanted to share my positive experience as an IVF Florida patient.
The nurses and staff at the Coral Gables office and Margate clinic were friendly and helpful, making every visit positive.
Scheduling appointments at the local Coral Gables office was convenient, with availability within a reasonable time. This made the many tests and appointments smoother and less stressful.
My primary physician, Dr. Hoyos, was attentive and knowledgeable. He took time to explain everything thoroughly and ensured that we felt comfortable throughout treatment. Every other doctor involved in my care was equally professional and kind, creating a reassuring and positive experience.
The Margate clinic, where all procedures and weekend monitoring took place, was brand-new and spotless. Its modern facilities and attention to cleanliness further increased my confidence in the care I received.
I highly recommend IVF Florida to anyone seeking fertility treatment. Their dedication to patient care and their supportive staff truly make a difference.

Women deserve better: my experience at IVF FLORIDA’s Coral Gables location was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional.
Warning: IVF FLORIDA lacks compassion and professionalism. Do not waste your time! IVF FLORIDA shows women no care or respect.
IVF FLORIDA failed me deeply. My experience was defined by a lack of empathy, flexibility, and care.
If you seek support and respect, stay away from IVF FLORIDA.
I am writing to formally complain about the unprofessional conduct and lack of patient-centered care I experienced at IVF FLORIDA’s Coral Gables location, specifically involving a staff member named Heather and the front-desk team.
I scheduled an egg-freezing consultation three weeks in advance. As you know, this is not a minor medical matter. For many women, including me, it is a deeply meaningful and time-sensitive decision. Initially, the staff were polite and helpful with scheduling. However, after a small error occurred in the referral from my primary care physician, their tone and conduct changed dramatically.
Although I explained that my availability was limited to only four days off each month, they refused to offer any midday or afternoon appointment, despite initially seeming willing to do so. I was repeatedly turned away without any attempt to find a solution. I was even pressured to travel to a less convenient location in Pembroke Pines, although I had specifically scheduled care in Coral Gables. The dismissive tone and lack of effort to find a compassionate solution were both upsetting and unacceptable.
After weeks of coordinating with my primary care physician to meet their requirements, I was ultimately told they could not help me simply because my availability did not fit their rigid schedule. I was not offered a waitlist or any flexibility. The interaction made me feel punished for circumstances beyond my control, despite being an informed and cooperative patient.
The clinic’s lack of empathy, flexibility, and professionalism severely undermines its stated values. I am deeply disappointed that I wasted time, effort, and emotional peace while my medical needs and personal circumstances were disregarded.
I am submitting this complaint not only to describe my experience but also to protect other women considering this clinic for something as important and emotional as fertility preservation. Compassionate, patient-centered care should be central to every reproductive health practice. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Dr. Hoyos is an extremely skilled physician and a genuinely kind person. I told him that a recent Pap smear at an unaffiliated facility had been very painful, so I was understandably nervous about a more invasive examination. He listened compassionately, helped me relax, and made the entire process painless, quick, and gentle. His skill and bedside manner are remarkable!
Noemi was kind and reassuring, ensuring that my examination was smooth and comfortable from beginning to end.
And Priscilla is truly the ‘needle queen’! After a coma several years ago, my veins became extremely difficult to access. I have had needles placed at nearly every major hospital in South Florida, and she is unquestionably the best. She found my vein on the first attempt, with no pain or discomfort—pure skill and grace.
I highly recommend this team. They set a new standard for compassionate, professional care.

I thank God for placing these people in my path. I am extremely grateful to everyone involved in my great dream of becoming a mother, including Dr. Hoyos and his team, especially Johanna, the nurse who was part of my dream of motherhood. Claudia, the nurse, was always more than supportive, there whenever I needed her and present at important moments. Leydi is an incredible young woman who made me feel at home. This is an excellent clinic with outstanding nurses. Noemí, who performed my ultrasounds, was exceptionally kind and attentive. My doctor, Luis Hoyos, was very caring and attentive. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰

I had a very good experience, and the staff were highly professional. At the Coral Gables clinic, Nisha is the queen of veins. My veins are very difficult, but Nisha was able to draw my blood on the first attempt. She is incredibly good.

Thanks to my outstanding Coral Gables team, I had a wonderful experience at IVF Florida. Dr. Bou Nemer consistently guided my IVF treatment with care and expertise. My nurses Lauren and Claudia were attentive, patient, and caring throughout this unsettling process. Although injections are never enjoyable, Nisha and Priscilla made my daily blood work easy, quick, and painless. Noemi performed my ultrasounds carefully and helped me through the retrieval process. Berthine and Leidy were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making my visits more pleasant :)
