we did 5 egg retrievals and one transfer at this clinic. Dr. Hanson and Pink team were wonderful. We did have our ups and downs going through this emotional and physical process. We did have to wait long periods of time for doctor visits inbetween steps. But there is a highly organized method to the madness and we went through their process. We had success in our early 40's. You do have to know yourself and ask questions. Understand the statistics and different options in case plan A does not work. It's always helpful to have a plan B in the back of your mind so that you can deal with plan A disappointments better. You also have to do your own research regarding these drugs and how they work. You need to be your own medical advocate for example requesting vitamin suppliment lists and outside factors that you can try to support your fertility. Requesting or asking about different drugs you read about that might help your particular case. In the end we found the right protocol of meds that worked for my body together. It felt like we were a team trying to solve a puzzle through trial and error. We are so grateful to the expertise of CCRM Edina clinic and thrilled our plan A worked out for us.

Dr. Batcheller was excellent and made me feel very comfortable. I look forward to the next stage of treatment and am glad to begin this journey with CCRM.

This company is a complete rip-off. Communication has always been terrible. My wife and I drove six hours, only to learn they had not told us we needed lab work the next day, by which time we had already driven home. The process is exhausting enough, and their inability to handle basic scheduling or answer calls makes it even worse.

Everyone was very kind and thoughtful and patiently answered all my questions. They will let me know the procedure results as soon as possible.

The worst, the worst, WROST... I could explain, but simply put, it is the worst.
    Feb 11, 2026
Communication is extremely poor. They said they would call two days before my husband's sperm collection, but did not. They told us to arrive at 6:00 a.m. and said we could not come later. It is now 6:20 and we are still waiting because nobody has opened the clinic. After spending so much money here, this level of service is deeply disappointing. Someone needs to improve this place. If you can, avoid this clinic.

My husband and I first went to CCRM for infertility treatment. We felt like numbers rather than patients. When a nurse called to say treatment had not worked as expected, she showed no empathy and told us we would have to wait 3-4 weeks to see the doctor for clear answers. When we finally saw the doctor, she was equally unsympathetic and responded coldly when we shared feedback about the experience. Save yourself money and stress by going elsewhere.

I wish my husband and I had never gone to CCRM. If I could give zero stars, I would. Communication at the clinic was terrible, although the nurses were kind. We wasted our time and felt deceived. They never should have performed the embryo transfer. CCRM knew it would not work because sperm motility was too low. It is sickening to think that they care only about money. Our doctor also left after this happened, which I find suspicious. This should never happen at any fertility clinic. I recommend staying away from CCRM.

We had tried another clinic without success before transferring to CCRM, and I am very glad we made that decision. Every staff member was wonderful. The doctors and nurses were knowledgeable and closely monitored our laboratory results. We have had two successful surrogate pregnancies through CCRM. I recommend them to anyone struggling with infertility.

The online system allowed me to schedule successfully, and I waited more than a month for the appointment, only to discover that they had canceled it without ever contacting me. The nurse was cold and unhelpful and simply said it was not their fault and that I should have called instead of using their online scheduling system. After waiting more than a month and taking time off work, this was incredibly upsetting. Do not go here—they do not care. I wish I had seen the other reviews sooner and avoided wasting my time and energy. Clearly, I am not the only person who has experienced this.

I left CRM of Minneapolis because I had endured years of infertility, and their communication was severely lacking. I felt like nothing more than a file in a system. Unfortunately, my experience with CCRM has felt no different. If you have the ear of a nurse, support exists—but if you don’t advocate for yourself, nobody will. Here’s why I am so deeply disappointed and honestly heartbroken. Less than a week ago, I met with the Blue Team for my IVF consult. I had joined CCRM about three months earlier and chose to try IUI twice before moving into an IVF protocol. After that consult, the nurse told me to call on cycle day 1 to schedule my baseline ultrasound, bloodwork, and pre-op physical. She also reviewed my stim protocol and ordered our prescriptions. From that point on, our entire focus was on securing our medication for the upcoming cycle—just days away. When I arrived at the office today, I was told I needed to pay the full outstanding balance for the egg retrieval cycle—nearly $20,000—immediately. My insurance does not cover IVF, so no, I was not shocked by the cost. What I was shocked by was learning that full payment was due at the first appointment. Had someone from the business office contacted me—via message (app), task (app), or phone call—between my consult and today’s appointment, I would have been fully prepared. That single communication would have saved me a tremendous amount of time, stress, and heartbreak. Instead, I was offered my first-ever consult with the business office—where I was met with absolutely zero empathy. I was told that today’s appointment was “irrelevant” and that a nurse would not be calling me with next steps unless I paid the remaining balance before their office closed—just two hours later. To make matters worse, before my appointment, the front desk staff told me that if I could put something down today, I could pay the remainder by my next visit. I immediately paid $1,500 and had no issue paying the rest—I just needed a few days to move funds between accounts. Instead, I spent three hours driving, undergoing unnecessary ultrasounds and bloodwork, only to be told: Read the fine print. You should have known. Today, CCRM showed me exactly who they are. I feel incredibly stuck because I have already spent over $4,000 on IVF medications. Starting over feels impossible. But for anyone else going through this—I'm so sorry. This process is already hard enough. Emotional enough. CCRM is not it. And honestly, CRM isn’t either. These are the “leading” clinics in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, which makes this even more heartbreaking. CCRM describes themselves as offering “compassionate fertility care.” What I experienced today was anything but compassionate.

We have been CCRM patients for more than five years. Unfortunately, that relationship appears to be over. I am sorry for every infertility patient who has experienced something similar, and I sincerely hope future couples and individuals do not face the service-quality problems we encountered over the past year. There are too many communication and process failures to list, but these were among the worst: - Important legal documents were not completed promptly under FDA guidelines, and patients were asked to provide them years later. - We were not told our doctor had left until weeks afterward. - Our doctor did not tell us until the day before a scheduled embryo transfer that he would be absent. - Our surrogate was told she could proceed with another transfer, while we as intended parents were told we could not use our chosen surrogate. Our new doctor, Dr. Batchelor, told me she ‘did not have time to listen to our complaints about CCRM,’ despite our three consecutive miscarriages, one involving twins, and then hung up on me. This lack of empathy and profound disrespect toward someone facing fertility struggles was shocking. I urge everyone using CCRM to consider other fertility providers. Given the already limited choices for infertility patients, CCRM's situation is deeply disappointing. Writing this is difficult because CCRM helped us have a wonderful daughter three years ago. I had hoped management would act after each communication problem, improve service, and retain us as valued clients. That did not happen. Please seriously consider or reconsider seeking fertility care elsewhere.

The front desk staff is very professional. The clinic provides highly detailed information about the IVF treatment process.
    Nov 26, 2025
I hate to raise this, but it was so unprofessional that I must say something. I scheduled a new-patient appointment and received a confirmation email and calendar invitation. On the appointment day, I called the clinic to ask how to connect because no further information had arrived. I then learned they had automatically canceled my appointment because I had not created an account in their online portal. Even worse, they never warned me that the appointment could be canceled and never notified me afterward that it had been canceled!! My partner and I both took time off work, although that was not the worst part. We have been through a great deal, as anyone searching for a fertility center will understand. We scheduled in advance and overcame many mental and emotional barriers, only to be stopped by this. Needless to say, we will not use this clinic. Scheduling alone was so difficult that I am unsure whether we will even try elsewhere. This severely disrupted our treatment plans and extinguished our hope. Honestly, in a way I am glad this happened so early 🙄. Given such disregard for customers, I would never trust them with sensitive treatment. I am sure their employees are excellent, but this damages their reputation. I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience, or at least warns them how important it is to register an online account.

I previously worked with another clinic out of state before transferring to CCRM. Moving from the previous clinic to CCRM felt like upgrading from Spirit Airlines to Delta first class.

If I could give CCRM a zero I would. Its heartbreaking to see how my son and daughter in law were treated. This is such a tough process to go through, and then to be treated poorly on top of it is just a gut punch. The nurses are very hard to get a hold of, days can go by waiting for an answer. Once they are on the line its a very transactional conversation. The patients are viewed as a number and a source of revenue. Your questions seldom are answered and they push you off to call with the doctor. The call with the doctor after a failed blast was even worse. She had no plan for how we move forward. Please keep in mind she had over two weeks to look at my chart and develop a plan yet she came with nothing. She also said things such as "i can't make anymore eggs" completely out of touch with the human side of this process. No empathy whatsoever within that clinic. We were just a number. This clinic and its employees should be ashamed of how they treat patients.

The nurses and doctors at CCRM are excellent, helpful, and kind during examinations. Communication at CCRM is poor. Whenever I tried to schedule, I could not reach anyone and had to leave several messages before receiving a call back. If I missed the call, it could take days to hear from them again, which was very frustrating. Every time I visited, the front desk staff were chatting about what to eat for lunch instead of answering phones, so I understand why communication is so poor.

Before finding CCRM Minneapolis, I received advice that was unrealistic, inaccurate, and even discouraging. I cannot praise Dr. Kohlmeier and the CCRM team enough. Their explanations of treatment were very clear, and the instructional videos and resources were organized and informative. Throughout treatment, I felt valued and cared for. From the initial consultation through an extended and additional STIM cycle, egg retrieval, recovery, and follow-up treatment, I felt that Dr. Kohlmeier and the entire Pink Team were with me every step of the way. I am very grateful I found CCRM!

I did not even make it to our consultation. After I completed the online appointment request, the woman who called to help finish the “mandatory registration” was awful! She began with a pleasant customer-service voice, then asked to send a second email to my partner, who has no email address and does not use email. Her attitude changed immediately, becoming unpleasant and arrogant. If this is your first interaction with patients, I am not interested in what comes next.

I am writing to express deep concern and dissatisfaction with how our recent IVF transfer result was communicated. Yesterday, I missed your call and did not receive a return call until I responded to the voicemail. This was disappointing, especially with information so critical and sensitive. Important results related to our IVF journey were not communicated promptly or professionally, which is unacceptable. The lack of direct and clear communication added unnecessary stress for my fiancé and me during an already emotional time. I expect a higher standard of professionalism and care when such important matters are handled. Timely updates and ensuring that patients feel supported throughout are essential. I hope you understand the importance of clear, efficient communication in this situation. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of these concerns.

They cancel appointments at the last minute, reschedule without your consent, and then never return calls asking for a suitable date and time. Customer service here is terrible. If my insurance covered another clinic, I would go elsewhere.

The nurses are very kind and helpful. The doctors are also wonderful, understanding, and genuinely caring. The outcome is not always happy, but you never feel alone, forgotten, or uncared for. They truly do care. They changed my life and my family's life. It was not easy, but that is the nature of infertility. Healthcare is always frustrating. Remember the people who made our family's journey possible and helped us through the worst period of our lives. I would recommend them. Every doctor we worked with showed extraordinary compassion and was willing to do everything possible to help.

    Jun 15, 2025
Background: We only had a consultation and then began the intake process. The provider we met was wonderful, thorough, and kind. We decided not to use this clinic because their prices were outrageous. I do not understand how they can charge so much when many clinics across the United States provide the same services for less than half the cost. They also impose additional requirements on same-sex couples. Because we were using donor sperm, they required us to see a counselor, even though we already have a son conceived with sperm from the same donor. This felt like an unnecessary additional expense and use of time, and they would not make an exception.

My husband and I are extremely grateful for CCRM's attentive care and could not be happier! For context, we previously completed one IVF cycle at another clinic and had a terrible, traumatic experience. We were very afraid to begin this cycle, but the CCRM staff eased our fears, listened at every step, and made the experience 100 times better. Dr. Burgart listened to our previous story, modified our last protocol, and we ultimately obtained 9 healthy frozen embryos! The CCRM staff are highly intelligent, kind, empathetic, and very knowledgeable. During this cycle, I received education I had never received before. Every staff member was wonderful, including our attending physician Dr. Burgart; Dr. Hanson, the surgeon who performed my egg retrieval; the urologist who consulted for Dr. Milbank; the nurses, sonographers, laboratory staff, receptionists, and everyone else. I never felt poorly cared for during this cycle. The clinic is also beautiful and always makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend CCRM for all fertility care!

    Sep 28, 2024
My experiences with staff and communication varied greatly. Some employees were absolutely wonderful, while others left me frustrated, unheard, and feeling that my care was not a priority. Information was not readily volunteered during IVF. If you do not know what to ask, you may miss crucial information that directly affects the outcome. Research thoroughly and be prepared with every question you might have. I do not know how this clinic compares with others; perhaps all fertility clinics operate this way.

If I could give CCRM 0 stars, I certainly would. I do not usually post negative reviews, but I feel I should warn others about my experience at CCRM so they can save time, energy, and money. This has been the worst medical experience of my life. At CCRM, you truly are just a number. They do not care about you at all and are clearly in business only for the money. Here are some of the awful experiences I had: - I completed timed-intercourse cycles at CCRM, yet every time I spoke with a nurse, they discussed IUI. I asked about 5-6 times for a note to be placed in my chart saying I was not undergoing IUI but timed intercourse. Each time they apologized and said it would be changed, but it never was. Not once but twice, they actually scheduled dates for me to come to the clinic for an IUI procedure, which I never underwent, because despite my repeatedly telling them, they still had no idea I was not doing IUI. This is the first example of how you are just a number here and they do not care. - I cannot count how many times nurses failed to respond about my next steps. Everyone knows infertility treatment is time-sensitive; things must happen when needed or you lose everything invested in that cycle—medication and substantial money—and must wait until the next cycle to restart. During one cycle, my follicle measured 18, yet they never called to tell me how to proceed that night. I called minutes before closing, and they said they would order my trigger shot, which I needed that evening. I traveled 40 minutes to the specialty pharmacy, only to be told they had never ordered it. Their lack of care and organization was complete. I had to call the after-hours number and wait there for hours until it was actually ordered and available. If I had not been monitoring my own cycle, this would have cost thousands of dollars and wasted an entire month of time, energy, and appointments. - Another time, I messaged a nurse about medication I needed that day. I sent the message at 8 a.m., but when I went to collect it at 5 p.m., the pharmacy again said it had never been ordered. - Once, I went to the clinic for laboratory testing on a Sunday. About 10 people were waiting for appointments while only 1 laboratory technician was drawing blood. I was seen 50 minutes after my appointment time. She told me they had planned it this way because they did not want to schedule staff on Super Bowl Sunday, yet they scheduled many patients and did not care that they had to sit and wait for an hour. - Twice, I had virtual calls with Dr. Batcheller before 8 a.m., and both times she was more than 40 minutes late. I understand running behind, but not at 8 a.m. She did not apologize and acted as though nothing had happened. This showed complete disrespect for other people's time. These are only some of the poor experiences I had here. If you choose CCRM, make sure you stay on top of your own cycle or things will fail and you will lose substantial time and money. I recommend looking at other fertility clinics before considering CCRM.

I am a new patient of Dr. April. I am satisfied because the doctor is looking for ways to help with my irregular menstrual cycles. I am excited about this journey with Dr. April.
    Sep 8, 2024
So far, I am very disappointed with my experience at CCRM. I just completed an IVF transfer, which should have been a very happy experience, but the business office created great stress and kept sending us bills we had already paid. I felt the transfer was rushed, and we should not have had to deal with business-related pressure at the same time. No one in the CCRM office seems to communicate with anyone else.

This is the worst clinic I have experienced. When you come to a fertility clinic, you are already dealing with difficulties and need help and compassion, but I saw none here. All consultations and treatment-plan discussions are online, and the doctor rushes through meetings without giving you time to process or fully understand. Whenever you ask a question, they simply say, “My nurse will follow up with more information.” Most importantly, they rescheduled my appointment twice without notifying me. This is only a small part of my terrible experience.
