Dr. Kofinas is the reason I can hold my miracle baby today! I went to him for a more detailed workup after multiple IVF failures and years of heartache. He diagnosed problems that had been missed and recommended endometriosis surgery. Although I had no symptoms, I had severe abdominal endometriosis. He was exactly right, prescribed supplements to help prepare my body for pregnancy, and my next IVF cycle produced my best results: the best embryos from my fourth egg retrieval, followed by my first successful IVF pregnancy. I attribute my success to him, and words cannot express how grateful I am for his expertise. In addition, everyone in the office is warm and friendly. Jennifer and Irena, the sonographers, are absolutely amazing—you naturally form a bond with them over time, and they made every visit feel personal and reassuring. Shanira, the nurse, was consistently kind, patient, and always ready to answer any questions I had week after week with a smile. Shivonne at the front desk was equally wonderful—always helpful, responsive, and never once made me feel like a burden, no matter how often I reached out. During my pregnancy, I needed a cerclage, which Dr. Nguyen performed. He reassured me every step of the way, helping ease any fears I had going into the procedure. After months of close monitoring and care, I am beyond grateful to say I delivered a healthy baby boy. I truly credit this team for ensuring that every aspect of my pregnancy was carefully watched and managed. Their dedication gave me peace of mind during what was such a long and emotional journey. After I gave birth, they were the first people I reached out to. Not only did they respond—they personally called to check in on me. After losing my son at 34 weeks, I came for a consultation to find the maternal-fetal medicine specialist best suited to me. I only wanted to meet the doctor and see whether he was a good fit. They said they did not offer “interviews” and that I had to follow their consultation process, but there would be no charge because I had met my annual out-of-pocket maximum. I then received a $3,500 bill listing services I never received. When I called to ask why, they said the insurer had to pay first before those items could be removed. I later received a second bill that still charged for services I never received. They also never contacted me about my test results, even though I called two months ago. This is nothing but a money grab.

This is the best, most thorough, and most caring clinic and doctor I have ever encountered. They help you become pregnant and sustain the pregnancy. If any problem arises during pregnancy, they can see you the same day. Everyone knows you by name. No matter how minor your concern, they take it seriously. I love them!

My husband and I will always be grateful to Dr. Kofinas and his team. Because of them, we have our miracle daughter. A friend referred us to Dr. Kofinas after three miscarriages, repeated failures, and two different fertility doctors telling us that our only chance of having a child was in vitro fertilization (IVF). Appointments at this clinic are a joke. Arrive on time, then be prepared to wait two hours. The staff are extremely disrespectful. Do not confuse them with “Kofina.” Good or bad, this guy is in town.

After two second-trimester losses and one early miscarriage, I began researching Dr. Alexander Kofinas because many miscarriage support groups I joined on Facebook discussed him. His expertise was highly recommended. The difficulty was that I live in another state, whose healthcare system I no longer trust. I began reading Dr. Kofinas's book, The Working Womb. Before I even finished it, I realized he was the doctor I needed to see. The book is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and teaching those of us who are struggling how to advocate for ourselves. Sadly, in the United States in 2025, Dr. Kofinas's level of knowledge and care is not yet the standard. I also want to note that all proceeds from the book go directly to fertility-related research. That is wonderful. Although I am only beginning my journey with Dr. Alexander Kofinas, I look forward to working with him and his excellent team. Whether or not you have endured a long and difficult search for care like mine, this clinic deserves its praise.
