Choosing a fertility clinic is such a personal and emotional decision, and we are so grateful we found Dr. Kaing and the team at Fertility Centers of Orange County. From our very first appointment, we felt genuinely cared for and welcomed. As a same-sex couple navigating the fertility process, it was important to us to find a clinic where we felt comfortable, supported, and respected, and that is exactly what we found. Dr. Kaing and her staff were always attentive, patient, and compassionate, taking the time to answer our questions and address our concerns every step of the way. Fertility treatment can feel overwhelming at times, but Dr. Kaing did an incredible job of explaining each stage of the process as we progressed, helping us feel informed, prepared, and confident in our decisions. I have visited other fertility clinics and undergone egg retrieval before, so I can compare experiences—and I can honestly say this clinic was excellent. It is only the second day after my procedure, but I already wanted to write this review because I felt exceptionally cared for and supported throughout. From the cleanliness of the clinic and operating room to the professionalism of anesthesiologist Michael, Dr. Lin, the nurses, and especially Lily, everything exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most was their care and attention. I never felt lost or alone. They patiently answered every question and gave clear postoperative guidance on what to do, eat, and drink and which symptoms to watch for. They genuinely cared about my well-being and did not let me leave until I felt better. As someone from Europe, I can say without exaggeration that the standard of medical care and service matched excellent European standards—the highest praise I can give. The staff were exceptionally considerate, attentive, and professional. They made a stressful and emotional process feel safer and more humane. I sincerely thank the entire team.

We are deeply grateful to the entire FCOC team, especially Dr. Amy Kaing, for helping us achieve our dream. From the beginning, we felt guided and cared for at every step. Dr. Kiang's expertise, kindness, and compassion gave me tremendous confidence even during the most uncertain moments. I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Wayne Lin（林廷俞） at the Fertility Center of Orange County. For those navigating the emotional and physical complexities of fertility treatment, we seek not only medical expertise but a basic level of professional courtesy and empathy—both of which were starkly absent in my interactions with Dr. Lin. After being referred to Dr. Lin (known in Taiwan as Lin Ting-Yu（林廷俞）, son of Lin Shih-Hsin（林士新）who operates a practice in Taichung), I initiated contact regarding egg freezing. Following an initial email from him inquiring about my clinical details, I provided a comprehensive response. Since then, I have been met with absolute silence. Despite multiple follow-ups, Dr. Lin has consistently "ghosted" my inquiries without a shred of explanation as to why a consultation could not be scheduled. Leaving a prospective patient in indefinite limbo is inexcusable. In this field, patients often reach out in a state of vulnerability and hope; to be met with repeated "read receipts" and zero communication is not only unprofessional—it is a glaring indictment of his medical ethics. This transactional and dismissive attitude appears to be a family trait, mirroring the reputation of his father’s aging and poorly-managed practice in Taiwan. It is clear that profit takes precedence over patient care at this clinic. If you are looking for a physician who respects your time and your journey, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. A doctor who lacks the decency to send a simple polite refusal or a scheduling update is not someone you should trust with your reproductive future.

This clinic's management is a complete mess. Fees rise without warning, billing details change depending on who answers the phone, and patients are often blindsided by large charges. This confusion, lack of transparency, and blatant incompetence are outrageous. For a clinic handling something as emotionally and financially significant as fertility treatment, this disorder is unacceptable and deeply disrespectful to patients.

My husband and I are incredibly grateful to have had Dr. Lin as our fertility doctor. Our baby girl was born in November 2025. Before visiting Dr. Lin, we had experienced two miscarriages and consulted two other fertility centers. After our first consultation with him, we knew that if we began an IVF journey, he was the doctor we trusted most to guide us through it. He was patient, considerate, and humorous, which put us at ease. He always explained everything clearly and set clear expectations at every stage. His clinic, FCOC, is clean and bright, and the staff are welcoming, attentive, and very supportive. We were not as fortunate as some people who succeed after one egg retrieval and embryo transfer. We underwent two egg retrievals and two embryo transfers before finally achieving our dream. Throughout the process, Dr. Lin consistently listened to us, communicated with us, and thoughtfully adjusted the treatment plan according to our needs and concerns, which gave us tremendous reassurance. He personally performed our ultrasound at every visit and even called us himself—sometimes after office hours—with important updates. He also replied to messages sent through the portal, even on weekends. The fertility journey was difficult and challenging, but we are incredibly grateful that Dr. Lin supported us through it.

Dr. Lin and his team are wonderful. This is definitely a place you can trust.

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Lin, who helped us retrieve many eggs and create healthy embryos, more than many friends I consulted at other clinics. He explained the entire process in detail and made us feel reassured. Our employer reimburses fertility care, and after consulting two clinics, choosing this one was an excellent decision.

Dr. Lin and his team are wonderful. They went above and beyond to help us and made the treatment process enjoyable. We are very grateful that they made our experience so positive, and we always felt well cared for.

We greatly enjoyed our first consultation with Dr. Kaing. She was knowledgeable, patient, and very reassuring, immediately putting us at ease. We look forward to continuing this journey with her.

This review is very late—my children are now 10 and 4. There is no better doctor or clinic. Dr. Lin is patient, kind, and gifted and remained honest and transparent throughout treatment. I was not an easy patient, but he listened, guided me, offered options, and never judged me. I always felt heard, supported, and valued. No matter how long the wait, it is worth waiting for him to be your doctor.

The initial consultation with the doctor was great. I was able to ask a lot of questions and get helpful answers, which gave me some clarity and reassurance. It made me feel hopeful at the start. Fertility treatment isn’t like catching a cold—it’s a long, emotional, and often overwhelming journey. While the staff were kind and gentle at first, the experience gradually felt more robotic. Care was based more on staff availability than a clear, consistent plan. It was difficult to reach nurses or doctors, and billing was often unclear—I usually found out about charges only after they were billed. I ended up spending a lot throughout the process, but the support and attention didn’t reflect that. I truly wish there had been more compassion, consistency, and personalized care along the way.

I was hoping this clinic would be a strong option for our IVF journey, but our experience was really disappointing. We waited nearly two months for our first virtual appointment. When the day finally came, we realized we never got a link or any instructions to join. I called the clinic to figure out what happened, and I was told the appointment had been canceled because I didn’t respond to texts or emails and never joined their portal. That didn’t make sense because I never got any messages from them. No texts, no emails, no voicemails. When I asked the woman on the phone to double-check, she just kept repeating that their records said someone named Dana called and that the link had been sent five times. But I never received anything. What made it worse was how unhelpful and cold the response was. I asked if we could reschedule sooner and was told the next available appointment wouldn’t be until the end of September. There was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to help us find a solution. Her tone was flat and dismissive, which only made the whole thing more frustrating. IVF is a stressful and emotional process, and it really matters how patients are treated, especially when something goes wrong. We felt like we didn’t matter at all. I hope someone in management sees this and takes it seriously. We were excited to work with this clinic, but after this experience, we are not so sure anymore.

So far, so good! The first appointment went smoothly. I will update after graduation if anything changes!

Dr. Lin is the best! We retrieved enough eggs and embryos in our first round! :) He is very patient, knowledgeable, and kind.

Dr. Lin and the entire FCOC team were wonderful to work with. He was thorough and transparent and always explained every step clearly, so we felt that we truly understood what was happening. He made a very stressful journey feel a little easier. Thanks to Dr. Lin and the entire FCOC team, we welcomed our son Augustus into the world last week. I scheduled an appointment with this clinic using my insurer's network search tool. The earliest available appointment was two months away, and during that time I completed all required paperwork and forms. On the appointment day, I never received the link for my telehealth visit. I called the clinic, and an employee named Michelle told me I was considered a cash-pay patient because my insurance apparently did not cover the visit. I was surprised and contacted my insurer directly. They confirmed that both the doctor and facility were in network. I called the clinic again, and another employee told me I had no insurance, so I had to cancel the appointment. Most frustratingly, the clinic had two full months to verify my coverage and notify me of any issue. Instead, they waited until the appointment day to say I was uninsured and automatically classify me as a cash-pay patient. This lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable. Fertility treatment is extremely time-consuming, and many people face emotional and physical challenges during the process. This clinic showed no regard for my health or fertility journey. If you plan to schedule here, be cautious and verify everything carefully.

I recently had a new-patient consultation with Dr. Kaing. She was very informative and thorough. She took time to answer every question and did not rush me. She is an amazing doctor, and her level of patient care is outstanding! Everyone I have encountered at FCOC has been wonderful, and I recommend them.

Dr. Kaing and her staff are absolutely the best in this field. The practice goes above and beyond for patient care and comfort. I am sure there are many good fertility doctors, but meet Dr. Kaing and you will understand why she is the best. A state-of-the-art facility, genuine and highly capable front-desk and nursing staff, and an excellent online platform and communication channels. The best!

This review is overdue. I am approaching 35 weeks of pregnancy. Last year, Dr. Lin, Dr. Kaing, and their organized, compassionate team succeeded with just one retrieval cycle and one implantation attempt. This team knows what it is doing. I did not expect it, but I cried when we said goodbye at our final appointment. I felt they respected and believed in our future child even more than we did. Until our last day, everything still felt theoretical to me—hello, 5AA embryo. Our goal in using IVF—despite normally recoiling from needles and medical visits—was genetic testing in embryo selection and carrier screening. In short, I admit that I was afraid of becoming a parent to a child with special needs; I had read Far from the Tree! Of course, we still could—even modern medicine cannot eliminate all risk, and certainly not all psychological epigenetics. But I feel the path we chose substantially reduced that possibility. After all, none of us can choose a life without challenges, growth, and room for faith. May you have a similar experience filled with care, expertise, and hope.

In terms of professionalism, expertise, and empathy, Dr. Lin is the best doctor I have ever worked with. We were fortunate to have him and his team support us through our IVF journey. I could tell that he truly cared about us and never treated patients like numbers. A few things I would like to mention about Dr. Lin: 1. He enabled us to make informed decisions and never left questions unanswered. 2. He always performed the ultrasounds and made the phone calls himself. 3. Excellent bedside manner. 4. He reassured us and made us feel well cared for, which we truly were. 5. Appointments started on time. It is amazing to see an embryo photograph become the baby in our arms. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lin and his team for their care and support!

I have to say Dr. Lin is amazing!!! My husband and I had three unsuccessful embryo transfers with a different doctor at another fertility clinic. We were under tremendous stress and had almost lost hope. We spoke with friends who had previously seen Dr. Lin and now have children. We decided to transfer all our embryos from the other fertility center to Dr. Lin's center. It worked after just one embryo transfer! My husband and I are so happy, and I am now 12 weeks pregnant. All the staff are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Lin! He is a miracle doctor!
