    I am a first-time surrogate from Alabama, and PFCLA made the entire process so easy! I was very nervous at first, but they guided me throughout, patiently explained every step, and made sure I fully understood. They were very honest and transparent. The support dog also helped me tremendously! I am now safely through my first trimester, all thanks to them!

    With the help of Dr. D and the team, I underwent three egg retrievals and successfully retrieved 26 eggs. Maria and Sarah were especially helpful throughout the process. Whenever I was confused about the process, they provided tremendous assistance. I am very pleased with the results.

    This is the worst clinic I have visited. They offered a $225 promotional consultation that was supposed to include a doctor's consultation and ultrasound. After I paid, however, they changed their position and said the ultrasound was not included and would cost an additional $300, or that I would need to pay the difference for a total of at least $350. It was a very disappointing and misleading experience.

    My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sepilian in Glendale and his outstanding team. I have never encountered professionals of such a high caliber! The ovarian stimulation process was flawless, and the medication doses were precisely managed. As a result, we obtained many healthy, high-quality embryos in our first cycle. Every procedure was performed to the highest standard under the doctor's close supervision. Most importantly, my first transfer of a single embryo resulted in pregnancy! By choosing Dr. Sepilian, you are choosing the safest, most professional medical team. I highly recommend him; he is truly the best choice!

    I highly recommend Dr. Catherine DeUgarte, a leading fertility specialist in Los Angeles, California. My husband and I had previously completed an IVF cycle in Beverly Hills without obtaining any normal embryos before seeing Dr. DeUgarte. We first saw a specialist in Orange County to rule out endometriosis, then went to Dr. DeUgarte. With her help, we used a different IVF protocol, retrieved many eggs, and obtained several normal embryos. We transferred one embryo, but it did not implant. We then decided to complete a mock cycle with additional testing and use a different transfer protocol. After addressing an issue found in the test results, we transferred another embryo. I am now over ten weeks pregnant and graduated from PFCLA a few weeks ago after two normal ultrasounds. Dr. DeUgarte was understanding and supportive throughout the process. She was open to adjustments after any setback and was a pleasure to work with. We felt reassured throughout. The PFCLA team is excellent and welcoming. We especially liked our patient care coordinator, Sarah. She always responded promptly to our needs and was extremely supportive. Dr. DeUgarte's dog Emma is adorable and accompanied us at every visit. If you are facing fertility challenges and looking for an excellent medical team, I highly recommend Dr. DeUgarte at PFCLA!

    Dr. Rodi gave us exceptional care during our most difficult time. I deeply appreciated her direct, thoughtful, and practical approach to developing our options.     I recently completed my second egg-freezing cycle with Pacific Fertility Center and wanted to share my experience. Dr. Sahakian is highly skilled, efficient, and clearly very experienced. Having worked with him twice, I felt comfortable and confident throughout both procedures. But the person who truly defined this experience for me was Sara. She is incredibly compassionate and empathetic, especially where those qualities are essential in this setting. Sara provides a rare and exceptional level of care, attention, and consistency. She takes time to explain everything, follows through, and is genuinely present for her patients, making you feel supported every step of the way. This process can be overwhelming and stressful, but she made it manageable and, at times, even grounding. Her professionalism, warmth, and responsiveness made a lasting impression on me. I am truly grateful for her. Overall, PFC has a strong and capable clinical team, with an exceptional patient experience because of Sara. I am especially grateful, thankful, and hopeful.     This is a top-tier clinic with dedicated, compassionate staff. Dr. Sahakian and the other clinicians work closely as a team to provide excellent, precise IVF treatment. We experienced many ups and downs throughout the process. As the saying goes, there are no guarantees in life, but nothing is absolute. This is a highly complex yet scientific process in which both success and failure occur. Dr. Sahakian and his team remained diligent and optimistic, closely monitoring every next step. Many reviews are based on successful outcomes, which cannot be guaranteed. But choosing this clinic and team is the right decision because they never compromise or give up hope.     I found every staff member at this clinic to be kind and helpful. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Semara Thomas. She was very approachable and patiently explained every step of the IVF process and answered all my questions.

    This is by far the worst clinic I have encountered. High prices do not mean good service. It was poor from the start: after I paid more than $30, they forgot about me for a month. Their marketing is excellent and makes you feel special until they have your money. Every time I saw the doctor, he seemed busy and had to review my chart to remember me. He gave me incorrect information that wasted my time and money. The surrogate screening was also poor. My candidate was unsuitable, but it took them far too long to determine something so basic, causing me considerable stress and financial loss. They used top-quality materials but still did not produce high-quality embryos, and no pregnancy resulted. The embryology laboratory is rarely mentioned during fertility treatment. I believe their laboratory is terrible. I eventually packed up and went to another clinic, where the outcome was excellent. Another couple I know also needed several cycles with them, which again makes me question their laboratory. I felt as though I had to figure everything out myself. The coordinator responded quickly, but I often did not know what questions to ask, and they answered only what I specifically asked. Overall, I wasted more than $100,000 and gained nothing but stress and pain. I requested a refund for services not completed, which of course I did not receive, though I did not expect one. It would at least have been some form of compensation. There are many clinics—do not choose this one.

    I called for information. The listed number instructed me to press 0 for more details. I pressed 0, but no one answered. I called again the next day and finally reached someone. She said she would leave a message and someone would respond within 24–48 hours. A week passed with no contact. Today I repeated the entire process, hoping to learn about the program! I receive better service at the DMV. Is UCLA so overstaffed that patients cannot receive the service they deserve? It resembles some government departments and is very disappointing. I wonder why they always publish high patient-satisfaction scores. Are all patient complaints being hidden? Perhaps they should hire fewer people who actually work!

    We began our surrogacy journey from Melbourne, Australia, and visited the clinic at the end of August for our initial medical examination. We were pleasantly surprised by how efficiently the clinic operated—everything was well organized, and everyone was very friendly. Given the potential complexities, it was reassuring to have such a smooth experience. Dr. Sahakian was wonderful, and the nurses were very helpful. Highly recommended.

    My experience at Pacific Fertility Center Los Angeles was wonderful. Dr. Vicken Sahakian is highly experienced and very patient. His treatment plan suited me well. Because I wanted to collect enough high-quality embryos before transfer, I underwent several egg retrievals here. Each time, I obtained a substantial number of mature eggs and several euploid embryos. Dr. Vicken Sahakian's retrieval technique is excellent, and I never developed severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). This year, my first natural-cycle FET was very successful. I feel very fortunate to have chosen Dr. Vicken Sahakian. I also want to give special thanks to my coordinator, Stephanie Arroyo. Honestly, she is the best medical professional I have worked with. She patiently guided me in person through every injection step and made sure I was comfortable. She was always thoughtful. For example, when she called with my PGT-A results, she asked whether I wanted to know the sex so I could choose to keep it a surprise. She was always kind, responsive, and extremely supportive, even answering messages outside working hours when I had questions. I am deeply grateful for everything she did. Thank you to the entire Pacific Fertility Center Los Angeles team. I will always appreciate your support throughout this journey.

    My experience meeting Dr. Sahakian was deeply disappointing. For the initial consultation, I was charged $350 for a virtual visit, and he called me while driving. He was distracted, did not listen carefully, and made the entire conversation feel rushed and unprofessional. Later, I flew 4 hours from my hometown to Los Angeles for an in-person visit, but he spent less than 10 minutes walking in and out of my exam room between patients. He did not take time to review my surgical report carefully, and his diagnosis was completely wrong. Most disappointing of all, despite seeing how much pain I was in, he showed no compassion and left me feeling hopeless about my condition. The clinic also charged both me and my insurance company excessive fees that seemed unreasonable and nontransparent. Overall, I found Dr. Sahakian's conduct unprofessional, careless, and lacking in compassion. Patients deserve a doctor who listens, carefully reviews their history, and provides accurate medical advice. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite.

    The clinic was clean and the staff friendly. I consulted Dr. Sahakian, who was direct but pleasant.\n\nI gave two stars because the consultation wasted my time and money. I am 43 and asked beforehand whether the clinic had an age limit for IVF patients. I was told my age was not a problem.\n\nWithin 5 minutes, however, Dr. Sahakian said I was too old for IVF and should consider donor eggs. Their lobby was full of donor-egg brochures. He offered an additional-fee ultrasound to confirm but firmly said IVF would “waste my money,” so I declined the vaginal ultrasound.\n\nIf my age alone made me ineligible for the IVF care that drew me there, why accept the appointment and charge $350 for a 15-minute consultation?\n\nThis clinic may suit younger patients, but if you are 40 or older and not interested in donor eggs, I strongly recommend another clinic.

    Choosing PFCLA Westwood was one of my best decisions. From the first consultation, Dr. DeUgarte stood out for exceptional professionalism, deep expertise, patience, empathy, and attentive listening. She made every step feel safe and personal and even shared private emergency contact details.\n\nMy excellent coordinator Sara answered questions promptly, often within minutes, always kindly and clearly.\n\nDr. Nefertiti provided the most professional and effective acupuncture I have experienced in the United States and recommended appropriate supplements that were crucial during ovarian stimulation.\n\nDr. Murad, an anesthesiologist with over 20 years of experience, gave me complete confidence. Nurses Rachel and Scarlet provided careful preoperative guidance, leaving me prepared and calm.\n\nThis is more than a medical team; they genuinely care for patients and support physical and emotional well-being. I deeply appreciate every one of them.

    Poor communication. At such a sensitive postoperative stage, we encountered a terrible attitude and reception. Patient care and bedside manner need a complete overhaul. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone I know or care about.

    My first surrogacy experience was absolutely wonderful and heartwarming. My case manager Julie and/or the team quickly answered every question and concern, making everything easy. Words cannot express how excellent Dr. Sahakian was with my treatment. He even called personally to ensure I understood every detail. My IVF transfer succeeded on the first attempt 💜💜, which says it all 😍 Trust the process—Dr. Sahakian and his team truly are a dream team.

    Our experience at PFC Glendale was extremely disappointing and emotionally exhausting. We arrived hopeful and ready to trust the process but left feeling ignored, unsupported, and completely let down. Despite multiple visits and spending thousands of dollars, communication was rarely clear. Genetic testing was performed without our knowledge, and each partner was charged $9000. Fertility treatment is already emotional. It is even worse when the doctor does not seem invested in your care. Sadly, that was our reality. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a compassionate, attentive, or proactive fertility specialist. We expected partnership and care but received more of the same. To make matters worse, they stopped accepting insurance.

    Dr. DeUgarte and her team made my egg-freezing journey genuinely positive and empowering. From the start, she created a safe environment where I could ask questions, voice concerns, and remain informed at every step. Her calm, positive, informative, and caring manner made the process far less stressful. Special thanks also to Maria and Sara on her team. They were proactive, responsive, and consistently reassuring. Whether handling insurance errors or urgent medication issues, they were always a message or call away, providing practical guidance and emotional support without judgment. What distinguishes this team is not only medical expertise, but deep emotional understanding. I never felt rushed or like an ‘ordinary patient.’ If you are considering fertility preservation, I highly recommend Dr. DeUgarte and her team; they provide heartfelt, excellent care.

    Deeply disappointed with this clinic. Our embryo shipment was delayed because of poor internal communication: they never sent an invoice or told us payment was needed. We only learned from the courier that the clinic was causing the delay. All consent forms had been signed in advance, but nothing moved until we pushed them. Worse, they have completely stopped accepting insurance and now accept cash only. I would not recommend them to anyone seeking reliable, patient-centered care.

    My doctor was Dr. Vicken Sahakian and my coordinator was Catalina Ontiveros. They are a dream team. Dr. Vick is knowledgeable and experienced, while Catalina offered comfort and helped me through the hardest moments of my fertility journey. From the beginning, Dr. Vick clearly explained what to expect, including the likely number of retrievals and transfers. Nothing was sugarcoated, and knowing what each step involved gave me reassurance, confidence, and peace. Every question or concern was addressed promptly. I am proud to say that I am nearly five months pregnant, and my husband and I will always be grateful to Dr. Vick and his team.

    In early 2024, my wife and I learned that we needed IVF to conceive. It was devastating. IVF is remarkable, but no couple would choose it if they did not need it. It is expensive, stressful, and a serious challenge for each person and the couple. We decided that if we were going through IVF, we needed to research carefully and find the best clinic. We soon realized that Pacific Fertility Center was among the best in the field. We had been UCLA patients, but in that large hospital system we felt like another couple on a conveyor belt. Pacific Fertility Center offered much more personalized, boutique-style care from doctors and staff who genuinely care and love their work. My wife is approaching 16 weeks pregnant, a dream we could not have achieved without Pacific Fertility Center. If IVF makes you equally afraid and anxious, I strongly recommend contacting them. Yes, IVF is expensive, but it is expensive everywhere, so choose the best. Our doctor, Catherine DeUgarte, was wonderful and always available. She even gave us her cell phone number for after-hours contact. We are very grateful to Dr. DeUgarte, Maria, and the rest of the Pacific Fertility Center staff.

    I wish I could give zero stars. This is the worst clinic. They kept my husband's sperm for two years and then demanded money, even though we told them we did not consent to storage. We signed forms instructing them to discard it, but they kept it anyway. This was not the only incident during my IVF treatment. They had me sign a billing document, and after I later discovered a higher amount, my bank account was charged. When I asked the accountant, I learned that after I signed and left, he had written additional information on the paper and charged me. Beyond the original fees, they took a great deal of money. The accountant charged me twice for the same bill. I transferred my embryos to a better clinic. During the transfer, they demanded payment to release my embryos, required me to sign forms online, and charged document fees. Even 6 months after transferring my embryos, they continued charging me storage fees, and they still do. They are thieves. When I requested an embryo transfer, I could not schedule one because they had so many transfers, and many people left the clinic. Do not go there. You will lose a great deal of money, and they are not as good as other IVF clinics; I noticed the difference after moving. You will become trapped, and they will demand a great deal of money when you leave. I recommend staying away. Thank you.

    This review concerns my experience with Dr. DeUgarte during the egg-freezing process and procedure. This was my first cycle, and I cannot thank Dr. DeUgarte and the entire PFCLA staff enough, especially my clinical coordinator, Maria. My egg-freezing journey was emotionally and physically challenging, but they made the process as smooth as possible. Dr. DeUgarte is not only highly knowledgeable but also very compassionate. She patiently answered all my questions, and I felt her approach to patients was exceptional. Throughout the process, she made me feel heard and understood. My clinical coordinator, Maria, was also very patient and kind. She always took the time to address my questions and concerns and made me feel well cared for. On retrieval day, the nurses and anesthesiologist made me feel comfortable and at ease. I am very grateful for their care and expertise. I highly recommend Dr. DeUgarte to anyone considering egg freezing. She truly is the best!

    It was impossible to reach them by phone or receive a callback. Only one-third of my questions were answered through the patient portal. Otherwise, the average response time was one week, with simple questions taking up to three weeks. Some replies containing medical instructions were not even written in understandable English, so I could not follow them because I did not know what to do and do not understand Spanish. There was also no way to get someone to respond within a week to clarify what I should do. After losing my egg donor because of these communication failures and repeatedly having to work through my agency just to get this clinic to respond, I left this terrible place and went elsewhere. PFCLA has too many patients, and the lack of attention adds unnecessary problems and burdens to an already difficult IVF journey.     I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Ingrid Rodi and her coordinator Catalina, as well as the rest of the entire staff. I had already visited another clinic and did not have the best experience. It actually deterred me for a year and a half before I tried another clinic. I am so happy I found this clinic because everything was amazing. After trying to conceive for 3 years, I had already prepared myself for the IVF journey. I had read about IVF and watched videos of other women going through the same struggle, so I was mentally prepared, although a little scared by all the videos I had watched. When I met Dr. Rodi, she was so warm and welcoming that I immediately felt I was in good hands. During the consultation, she told me it could take up to 3 rounds of IVF. I appreciated that she informed me from the beginning so I could be more patient with the treatment. We completed our laboratory tests and began the egg-retrieval process. In preparation for retrieval, Catalina did a wonderful job showing me how to use all the medications correctly and also provided an excellent calendar. They were available at any time to answer questions throughout the IVF process. I can say my experience was 10 out of 10, and we are currently expecting our baby girl in August after just our first round of IVF. I was sad when I graduated from the clinic to my OB-GYN because they felt like family, and they were all so happy for us and our new baby. I will definitely return because we have another embryo ready for us. I also prepared for my IVF treatment by reading the book It Starts with the Egg by Rebecca Fett. The book taught me what I needed to eat more frequently and which vitamins to take to support my egg health. You will be in good hands if you choose this clinic!!

    The PFCLA coordinator provided good service. The failure of my first cycle at PFCLA had little to do with the clinic and more to do with my own stress factors at the time. However, the doctor did not explain the meaning behind the follicle data or what it specifically meant for retrieval success. In fact, the doctor sometimes seemed impatient. Simply telling us that the follicles were below standard when we asked was not very helpful. I did not fully understand the follicle data from my first cycle until another clinic reviewed it with me during my second cycle. This could be improved.

    I came to PFC as a surrogate for three different journeys. Each time I was treated with respect, and all my questions were answered. They were friendly and always available to answer questions. Highly recommended.

    My wife and I chose PFCLA-IVF, but our experience was poor. The initial consultation was awkward because the doctor wanted us to proceed directly to IVF without considering other options. We did not know what to expect and assumed they would provide more education. Everything declined after the first visit. We were assigned a coordinator who initially seemed very helpful, but then everything changed randomly several times. Scheduled appointments seemed disorganized, unprofessional, and impersonal. When my wife first needed injections, she spent a great deal of time driving back and forth to various pharmacies around the area just to obtain them. My wife and I are both professionals, and spending so much time completing tasks for them affected our personal and professional lives. The reception staff seemed more interested in their conversations than helping us. I arrived for an appointment, and they repeatedly said I had none and kept asking my name. They spent 10 minutes trying to find me even after I suggested it might be under my wife's name. They gave us a portal to track everything, but it was useless and difficult to navigate. No test results appeared when I clicked through it. When I asked for results, the person on the phone insisted they were in the portal. After about 15 minutes, he finally said he needed to request that the records be uploaded. They also asked us to obtain records I could not access. There was no call, email, or text informing me, as the husband, that I could view them. We left the clinic not because two IUI cycles failed, but because of the lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic care. The entire process was a waste of time in the dark. We eventually chose another facility that was organized, professional, educational, and kept the same assigned coordinator from the beginning. My wife and I felt PFCLA wasted our time. The staff were simply lazy. Use your judgment when considering this clinic. I am warning you that you may encounter difficulties. It was far from our home, and we did everything they told us, but they did not care. They did not even ask why we were discontinuing treatment. We had planned to pursue IVF after IUI, but with this level of service, it was not worth the additional stress. In my view, they simply move patients through like cattle.

    Hidden fees. They even charge for every signature, and you cannot choose your own notary; they force you to use theirs. It feels like extortion and is poor business practice.

    This place and the entire experience were an absolute disaster. From the start, it was an emotional and chaotic process, with countless errors, poor communication, and mishandling during one of life's most important journeys. Because this review is public, it took us months to decide whether to write it. We spent a small fortune that could have gone elsewhere. Last week, 10 months after our treatment, we received another email incorrectly charging us for eggs we had been told were not stored/viable. I believe the positive reviews and am happy for those patients. In our case, incorrect prescriptions were sent to our pharmacy, wrong information and schedules were shared, and after paying a large sum and dealing with all the unexpected headaches, we ultimately did not have a successful experience. After this disastrous experience, we were fortunate to conceive naturally. My advice is to stay away and keep trying elsewhere if necessary.

    After a difficult and unsuccessful experience at a clinic in our hometown, we came to PFCLA. We went through reciprocal IVF with Dr. Chavkin, and she and her nurse Stephanie supported us wonderfully throughout the process. They were both outstanding, compassionate, patient, and helpful. They provided personalized care and guidance for our specific needs. We greatly appreciated Dr. Chavkin's straightforward approach through egg retrieval, fluctuating thyroid levels, and a successful, beautiful frozen embryo transfer. Regardless of the results we received, our overall experience at PFCLA was excellent. We will always be grateful to Dr. Chavkin and the PFCLA staff for making our dream come true, and we look forward to returning to Dr. Chavkin when we are ready for baby number 2! Thank you for everything!

    Dr. Sahakian and Catalina played an essential role throughout my and my husband's IVF journey. The process can be exhausting on every level, but they truly made it worthwhile—especially because our miracle daughter was born in February 2023. She is the greatest blessing in our lives, and we cannot imagine life without her. Catalina is absolutely the best and was very approachable throughout the process. Whenever I had an issue late at night or on a weekend, she was always there and gave us tremendous support. Before choosing this clinic, my husband and I went to another IVF clinic that was an absolute disaster, but PFCLA is truly the best. We are so grateful to them and for our daughter. Thank you!!!!

    I completed the egg donation process with PFC. To be candid, at first I had some issues with communication—or the lack of it—behind the scenes, which made me uneasy. However, when I raised my concerns, they stepped up, and the rest of the process was coordinated and clear. I felt genuinely cared for. Overall, Dr. Rodi was very personable and positive at every visit. The procedure itself was a breeze. The nurses and staff were attentive, thorough, caring, and sensitive. I felt very safe and cared for and was able to truly relax. It was my first time, and I was a little overwhelmed and afraid, but they put me completely at ease. Dr. Sahakian performed the procedure and was gracious, calm, and kind when he entered the operating room. Afterward, the nurses were very kind and helpful. They made it a genuinely wonderful experience, and I would definitely do it again. Thank you, PFC, for an excellent experience.
