Do not go to this clinic. Billing is a nightmare, and communication is terrible. This is the worst place for IVF treatment. They only want to squeeze every last cent out of you while providing dreadful service. Our problems began on day one. Our first in-person appointment was suddenly changed to telehealth because the doctor supposedly had an emergency to handle. However, when we logged in, the doctor was clearly sitting in the office. Meanwhile, the clinic manager, Ashley, aggressively demanded payment before the telehealth consultation began. Their inefficiency is shocking. It took the doctor a full four weeks to review the medical records we uploaded on the first day. Communication between the clinical and billing departments is severely disjointed; the billing team did not know when our procedure would begin, which delayed our prior authorization. I spent two full weeks calling and emailing them. They claimed a system error had prevented notifications from being sent and that my messages had been “missed,” even though they had clearly seen my earlier emails. Even worse, our insurer contacted RMA five times to request our medical records, but Ashley completely ignored them. I believe this clinic violated California medical billing law. They force you to pay the full amount in advance and then hold your money until the insurance company eventually pays. Save yourself the unnecessary trouble and go elsewhere.

Dr. Randi and her entire staff are outstanding. At every appointment and in every interaction, I felt their genuine care and warmth. Dr. Randi is kind, attentive, and professional, and her concern for her patients is clear. I am very grateful for their attentive, compassionate care and highly recommend them.

This review is long overdue, but I want to express my gratitude to RMA Southern California. After struggling with unexplained infertility, we began our journey at RMA in June 2023 and started IVF in January 2024 under the care of Dr. Kim and nurse Katia. Their compassion, clear explanations, and support made this emotional journey manageable and even hopeful. They always answered my questions patiently and made me feel genuinely cared for at every step. We now have our daughter, and I truly could not have reached this point without them. I am deeply grateful to the entire team and recommend them to anyone facing fertility challenges.

I just completed an egg-retrieval cycle with Dr. Randi at RMA Los Angeles and was very satisfied with the entire process. From the initial consultation, Dr. Randi spent at least 45 minutes, possibly longer, explaining female fertility, relevant statistics, and the egg-freezing process. I decided to proceed and am now very glad I did. RMA made the process easy, and I felt I received excellent care. By carefully following the detailed protocol, I had a very successful retrieval cycle. Dr. Randi was excellent, as was my phlebotomist Jacqueline, whom I saw at every appointment. She was professional and always made me feel comfortable and cared for. She brought a human touch to an intimidating and demanding process. My nurse on retrieval day, Elizabeth, was also wonderful and made me feel very relaxed. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering egg freezing.

Unfortunately, my experience at RMA SoCal started very poorly. I was directed to administrative manager Ashley with questions about my informed consent form. She quickly became impatient, spoke to me condescendingly, and repeatedly interrupted me. When I asked her to let me finish, she replied, ‘No,’ and said she had other patients to attend to. She then told me that because I would not sign the documents before my questions were answered, my appointment would be canceled and their legal team would contact me. This felt like a missed opportunity to build trust at the start of care. The informed consent form explicitly encourages patients to ask questions, yet when I did, I was met with arrogant and dismissive treatment. Being pressured to sign documents without adequate discussion and then encountering hostility when I asked questions made me very uncomfortable and unheard. Even if their legal team eventually contacts me, this experience alone has made me question whether the clinic truly respects patient concerns. I am sharing this so others understand how questions about consent may be handled before deciding whether to proceed.

I am incredibly grateful for the attentive care and professional service I received at RMA. From check-in and scheduling to treatment, the entire team was proactive, responsive, and genuinely kind, making what could have been an overwhelming process feel easy to navigate. My nurses stayed in touch, returned calls promptly, and answered my questions by phone or through the app. I always felt supported and well informed. Dr. Randi and her team were outstanding, and I sincerely appreciate their guidance throughout the egg-freezing process.

Dr. Seidhoff and his team deserve every compliment. He listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and reassured me during my most frightening moments. His team showed empathy and patience, making me feel truly understood and accepted. I highly recommend him.

I previously froze my eggs at RMA SoCal and received good care from Dr. Landay. I am now preparing for IVF and, because my insurance is about to expire, I tried to find out when I could schedule an appointment. Dr. Landay was fully booked, so I scheduled a telehealth consultation with Dr. Kim. Because time was limited, they told me they would call back in advance so I could make other arrangements if no appointment was available. I never received a callback. When I called on the day of my appointment with Dr. Kim, they said there was no record of it. They not only failed to call back but also lost my appointment, something I have never experienced at any clinic. They did not even schedule the wrong date; there was simply no record of the appointment. The receptionist said she would contact Dr. Kim to see whether he could still see me at the scheduled time, since his calendar appeared to have an opening, and would call me back as soon as possible. Twenty minutes after the appointment time, I still had heard nothing. I then called several times, but every call went to voicemail. Thinking they might be intentionally ignoring my number, I called from another number, and they answered. As soon as I identified myself, the person said she was receiving another call and placed me on hold. After 7 minutes, she transferred me back to voicemail. I called again, and someone briefly answered, there was a rustling sound, and I was sent back to voicemail. They clearly did not want to speak with me. I hope this appointment is the only thing they have mishandled. This was a frightening experience with a clinic storing my frozen eggs. I have never encountered such unprofessional service at any medical facility. If Dr. Kim or Dr. Landay sees this, please call me. I am clearly getting nowhere with the front desk.

They only want your money!! I was immediately diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) without hormonal laboratory testing or health screening. When I was shocked by this sudden diagnosis, Dr. Ghazal said I was "lucky" and had me meet her financial coordinator to discuss paying tens of thousands of dollars for IUI and IVF. Her bloodwork included only CBC and T4, with no day-21 testing, testosterone testing, or other hormone testing. I sought a second opinion from an OB-GYN and was told I definitely did not have PCOS and was actually very healthy. I worried about my fertility for months for no reason, and I believe this practice exploits healthy women for financial gain.

An unexpected bill suddenly appeared on my account without warning, and they have not corrected it for a year. Ridiculous.

This place is absolutely the worst. I scheduled an appointment and called the day before to confirm, then later that day they called to cancel at the last minute even though I had booked a month ahead. This was only the first appointment, and I cannot imagine how disorganized they are when I would be paying so much for these services.

With Dr. Kim's guidance and the staff's warm support, my husband and I completed our infertility journey with hope and confidence. Our experience at RMA was beautiful, meaningful, and precious, and we will always remember it.

I tried to schedule my first visit but had to cancel because I was ill. Even though I called to cancel, they still charged me a $50 cancellation fee. I have repeatedly tried to contact billing but cannot reach anyone, and no one has returned my calls. I am leaving this review to warn others seeking fertility treatment. Infertility is difficult enough, but dealing with a clinic that lacks understanding and responsiveness makes the process even more stressful. Patients seeking fertility treatment already face a significant emotional and financial burden. Being charged despite giving proper notice, with no way to resolve the issue, feels unfair. A clinic that truly cares about its patients should prioritize clear communication and compassion, not just policies that increase their stress.

Where do I begin describing the most incredible egg-freezing experience with Dr. Melanie Landay... First, I interviewed/consulted with 5 or 6 doctors in total, all recommended by friends. They were all incredible, well regarded, and had excellent results, as did Dr. Landay. But none of the others felt right for me, and meeting Dr. Landay confirmed that. Our consultation lasted over an hour. She answered every question I asked while remaining warm, genuinely kind, and empathetic. I left feeling that I was in the best possible hands—a feeling I did not have with the other doctors. At every step, Dr. Landay and her team (shout-out to my nurse, Katia) communicated thoroughly and gave me extensive guidance, both by video and in person. They made me comfortable in vulnerable situations, whether discussing my health, having ultrasounds, learning to inject myself, reviewing the schedule and procedure, or anything in between. My initial ultrasound numbers were not very encouraging, but Dr. Landay assured me she knew the right protocol for me. I trusted her completely. Once I began the injections, my numbers rose sharply, and by the time of my procedure I also had a high maturity rate. I was understandably very nervous on the day of the procedure, but the moment I saw Dr. Landay, I immediately felt calm. She has a natural ability to make you feel safe in her care. I could not have asked for a better doctor, outcome, or experience. Dr. Landay will give you the best possible care. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dr. Kim and his team at RMA Los Angeles are amazing! Before finding RMA, my husband and I sought fertility support at another clinic, where we felt like just “a number.” When we met Dr. Kim, he sat with us for over an hour and truly wanted to get to know us and understand our journey. He gave us recommendations and options best suited to our needs and guided us through difficult decisions and the emotional ups and downs of IVF. He made us feel like family and treated us with the utmost care and respect. His nursing staff, front desk team, office management/billing staff, and everyone else are incredible! Although we were happy to “graduate” to a regular OB-GYN, we miss the entire RMA team. The level of support they provide throughout the journey is unmatched in healthcare. They even give you an after-hours number to reach a nurse with urgent, potentially time-sensitive questions about medications, injections, and more. Even after I “graduated” from RMA and began seeing a regular OB-GYN, I would still email my RMA nurse Merrissa—the greatest!—with an occasional question, and she always responded generously. We are so grateful to Dr. Kim and his team for helping us conceive through IVF. I was afraid to begin the process, but their support and care made it much better than expected.

The RMA network, doctors, and nursing staff are outstanding. Everyone is very friendly, and the facility is exceptionally clean and pristine. I highly recommend this fertility clinic! Dr. Landay went above and beyond to listen to my concerns and even addressed personal matters to ensure that all my questions were resolved. From the 1st appointment, she made sure I felt completely comfortable as a patient. Her care coordination team is excellent and very diligent about follow-up. The IVF process can be confusing, with many steps to remember, but that is not an issue when working with this team. Their consistent outreach and reminders help you stay on top of the process and schedule. I am very grateful to the nursing staff and Quiana for their continued follow-up and communication.

Saying that I will always be grateful to Dr. Kim and the rest of the RMA team for helping me achieve a healthy pregnancy so quickly would be an understatement. After a natural, easy first pregnancy, I was shocked and devastated to experience not one but two miscarriages within a year while trying to conceive my second child naturally at age 31. I decided I could not endure any more losses and would proceed with IVF. I had planned to begin at another clinic, but after my initial Zoom consultation with Dr. Kim, I was so impressed by him both as a physician and as a compassionate person that I switched to RMA. Exactly 1.5 months passed from my first appointment at the clinic to my embryo transfer. I had only one egg retrieval, which resulted in 6 PGT-A embryos. I had one transfer, and it stuck. I cannot imagine a better or more efficient outcome. I was happy to graduate from the clinic because Dr. Kim is an exceptional doctor who genuinely cares about his patients, and the clinic is highly organized with appointments, medication instruction, insurance/billing, and everything else. I would recommend RMA 11/10 to anyone experiencing infertility or pregnancy loss.

RMA SoCal helped us finally grow our family, and we are so grateful! After seeing other fertility doctors and struggling for years, I am now happily and healthily 13 weeks pregnant. Dr. Kim is the perfect combination of intelligence, kindness, scientific rigor, and compassion. Nurse Emily was extremely supportive, patient, and helpful at every step of the process.
