This clinic is understaffed and poorly managed. The physicians, lab team, and financial team are all very kind and professional and deserve five stars. However, scheduling appointments or reaching the nursing team for help is extremely difficult. The nurses or care coordinators are either highly unprofessional or extremely busy, so never expect an immediate response. Even after waiting two days, I still have to keep calling the front desk for updates. If you do not call proactively, you will receive no help at all. Keep in mind that a “good doctor” means you are satisfied with your 15-minute meeting with the doctor, but in reality you must endure a long wait: first for the nurse to contact the doctor, then for the nurse to tell you when the doctor is available, then for the nurse to confirm, and finally for weeks or even months before you can see the doctor. On top of that, for the next several months, you must continually communicate with nurses or care coordinators about insurance, billing, lab appointments, or medical orders, which is extremely frustrating. I encountered many nursing-related problems, including incorrect prescriptions, incorrect procedure times, the wrong medication, and failure to tell us how to prepare for a procedure the next day. The five-star part accounts for only 5-10% of the entire process. I chose this clinic because of my insurance, so I do not know how other clinics compare. But if you have the opportunity, it is best to consult other clinics before deciding.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Tazuke. Before the appointment, I completed all the required questionnaires. I then received a call saying I needed to sign several agreements covering communication, data protection, and authorization to charge my credit card—a total of 11 agreements spanning 24 pages. As a lawyer, I read all the agreements carefully and concluded that there was no reason for me to sign them before my first conversation with the doctor. At that point, I did not know whether the doctor would accept me as a patient, and I had not decided whether to receive care at this clinic. After that, I received at least five text messages and at least four phone calls, all from the doctor's assistant. Her tone was very rude. The assistant could not explain why I had to sign all these agreements before deciding to receive care at the clinic. I said I would sign them after deciding to proceed with treatment from Dr. Tazuke. She told me either to sign them immediately, while on the phone, or she would cancel the appointment. I felt as if I were under attack, so I chose to cancel. The assistant's behavior was extremely strange and aggressive. I have never experienced anything like it when scheduling a doctor's appointment. I began reading reviews of CCRM and found many negative ones, which frightened me. It must also be noted that none of these agreements or materials included a price list, which may be one of the most important pieces of information. Furthermore, I had already provided my credit card number when scheduling in case I canceled close to the appointment date.

I have called several times (no calls returned) and been to the office just to get someone to attend to me. It has been several months and my bill situation is yet to be fixed. All you have to do is send a claim to my insurance so that my bill can be covered. What is going on?

I had a good egg retrieval experience at the clinic. The procedure went smoothly and the medical care was appropriate. After the retrieval, however, my experience deteriorated sharply. Communication was inconsistent, it was difficult to schedule a follow-up with the doctor, and it was hard to get information about the next treatment steps. I often felt stuck waiting without a clear timeline, which added anxiety to an already stressful process. I recommend choosing another clinic.

I had lab work done here before starting treatment. I went on a Saturday when it was quiet and I was one of only a few patients. I fainted during the blood draw. Once I felt better, I continued with my day. A few weeks later, a nurse called to say they had lost my lab order or never sent it. They still charged me $1,300 and said there was no record, even though it had clearly been submitted through my insurance. I contacted them repeatedly and never received a refund. Now I have another bill for $13...what a joke. This clinic is terrible. If they can mishandle a lab order, who knows what else might happen. Needless to say, we did not choose this clinic.

Disappointed with the service so far. I may revise this review if the service improves.

I strongly advise against CCRM SF. Their clinical and administrative teams will turn an already stressful IVF journey into a nightmare! At this clinic, you have to act as your own case manager just to catch their repeated mistakes. Because of their poor communication, missed calls, and unclear medical instructions, my partner and I experienced completely avoidable delays. Their negligence directly caused my partner to repeat a sample collection and make an extra trip. Worse, their contradictory instructions forced me to undergo a second painful and entirely unnecessary blood draw. To avoid the headaches, wasted time, and additional physical pain, choose a Bay Area clinic that knows how to communicate and respects your time. No one here cares about you!

One star is for the laboratory and embryologists. Everything else is absurd: doctors making treatment decisions without reviewing patient history, clinical nurses making all kinds of errors and requiring repeated follow-up before responding, and a billing team mishandling insurance despite clear instructions. Worst of all are their phone lines: no one can be reached except through the new-patient scheduling line.

In short, for many of us the fertility process is a marathon lasting a year or more, filled with tests, appointments, and major expenses. CCRM claims to offer the best fertility outcomes, but instead of helping us reach the finish line, we felt they repeatedly obstructed and tripped us as we tried to complete the race. Our family trusted CCRM many times, but we now understand that we can no longer trust them. CCRM—and I mean not only the San Francisco location but other CCRM clinics we visited—is the worst-managed organization I have encountered. From poor patient handoffs between internal teams and weeks without communication to forgotten required tests that prevented other procedures from proceeding on time, we were left wondering how a fertility clinic could function so poorly. Avoidable CCRM errors delayed our referral. Because the referral ultimately occurred during a gap in insurance coverage, we were left with a bill exceeding $10,000. That was frustrating enough, but worst of all, our attempts to raise the issue with CCRM San Francisco and its executive team were completely ignored. No one responded. We were given email addresses and phone numbers, but apparently no one reads the messages or listens to voicemail. I could not even reach someone to pay the bill. Our experience is that trying to contact them is pointless because no one can be reached. Other reviews here show that we are not alone.

Unfair Treatment and No Response I first met Dr. Liu in person to discuss intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and egg freezing. I later had a video call and told her I planned to freeze my eggs. After waiting a month and a half, she scheduled what I thought was egg-freezing treatment. Instead, it was a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), which is not required for egg freezing. Is the clinic using this to make more money? I have called three times. Each time they promised a callback, but no one has responded. I may report this to the state medical board.

I had an excellent experience at CCRM with Dr. Jun, who is highly skilled, thoughtful, and caring. She does more than conduct IVF cycles; she works to understand the underlying problem. She helped diagnose my endometriosis and referred me to a leading surgeon for treatment. I am very glad she did, because an embryo transfer would likely have failed in my condition and wasted an embryo. After surgery, I conceived naturally and now have a lovely six-month-old baby boy ❤️ Before coming to CCRM, we spoke with many friends about their experiences and visited another clinic. Most fertility clinics operate like stores: you select from several services and try again if one does not work. The first clinic I visited was dismissive because I was younger and told me to "come back in a year." I ultimately chose CCRM because my obstetrician-gynecologist recommended it. Dr. Jun was very attentive and carefully reviewed my records. She performed many diagnostic tests and explained the results in detail. Although I was young and my AMH was "within the normal range," she suspected that I needed to begin egg retrieval immediately. The previous clinic had dismissed this, but she was completely correct. I underwent two egg retrievals with her, and she adjusted the second protocol based on the first result. After reviewing all the test results, she suspected endometriosis and referred me to a specialist surgeon because embryo transfer was not yet appropriate. I was found to have stage 4 endometriosis, and after surgery I conceived naturally! Even afterward, they arranged several tests to ensure that the pregnancy was progressing normally until I transferred to my obstetrician-gynecologist. I am endlessly grateful to Dr. Jun! The clinic itself is also very professional and clean. All the nurses were wonderful, and I felt comfortable throughout. One phlebotomist—I did not ask her name :(—was amazing. I am very afraid of blood draws, but she always helped me relax and was so skilled that I barely felt the needle. It took some time to get an initial appointment, perhaps because they were busy, but once my information was in the system, responses were very prompt. You mainly message nurses through Salve; after becoming an established patient, I never had a problem with delayed responses. At times, some information seemed not to reach the doctor, and given the stress of IVF, the staff could do a better job explaining why they ask patients to do certain things. During ovarian stimulation, I had ultrasounds almost daily. After each one, a nurse called to explain the next step in my treatment plan. After egg retrieval, they also followed up frequently and kept me informed about embryo development. The only staff member I was less satisfied with was my first coordinator, who now appears to have left, and some front desk staff were not very pleasant. Time. Overall, IVF is extremely stressful, and the causes of infertility are still not fully understood. However, Dr. Jun is highly skilled and genuinely wants her patients to receive the best care. She is one of the finest doctors in the field.

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst clinics I have encountered. It does not respond to patient messages, provide clear instructions, or deliver timely and effective patient care. Although the staff and doctors are wonderful, the clinic's operations clearly have many shortcomings. I hope they have begun improving.

Overall, the doctors at CCRM are highly skilled. The phlebotomy team, ultrasound technicians, and front desk staff are professional and knowledgeable. The clinic is clean and comfortable, and the medical care itself is reliable. However, my nurse, Christine, was extremely unprofessional and seriously undermined my treatment experience. First, medication coordination was handled very poorly. The clinic sent my medications directly to a self-pay pharmacy instead of confirming a pharmacy that worked with my insurance. The medications required prior authorization from the doctor. The pharmacy could not reach the clinic, so I repeatedly had to contact both the pharmacy and my insurer myself. I asked Christine several times to send the doctor's prior authorization, but her responses were extremely slow—sometimes taking 48 hours, and sometimes she did not respond at all. I had to follow up repeatedly just to receive basic paperwork. Instead of helping, she repeatedly emphasized that "this is not my responsibility." She even asked me for the phone number of their partner pharmacy, CloudRx—information easily found on Google. I had already called the pharmacy many times myself. She never attempted to contact it, did not know its number, and was unwilling to look it up. By comparison, when I underwent IVF at RSC, I never experienced medication delays or similar urgent problems. Their nurses were professional and proactive. They planned ahead, placed orders early, and ensured that patients received medications in advance. Patients never had to make frantic calls or manage insurance and pharmacy issues themselves. Treatment plan updates were prompt and clear, and I never had to chase the clinic at the end of the day to ask which injections to take because the staff were "about to leave work." Second, during ovarian stimulation injections on day 4, Christine told me that my husband and I might carry the same genetic mutation and might need to stop the cycle. This caused severe anxiety and panic. I thought they had performed new genetic testing without my consent. In fact, I had already completed genetic testing and counseling at my previous IVF clinic, RSC, and the results showed no mutations that would cause a dominant inherited disorder in our children. Christine's statement was completely wrong, and she had not confirmed the information with the doctor before alarming me. The supposed mutation was actually in a pseudogene, which may resemble a disease-causing gene but is not itself a pathogenic mutation. She did not confirm until the next day that there was no issue and that we could continue the cycle, yet she still recommended repeat genetic counseling. When I reminded her that we had already completed counseling, she said we could skip it but still "recommended" it. Most concerning, genetic screening and counseling should occur before ovarian stimulation injections and before the treatment cycle begins as part of the initial evaluation of a new patient. Raising this only after treatment had begun reflected poor coordination and oversight. Although CCRM has excellent doctors and a strong clinical team, my care coordination—especially communication with Christine—was cold and disorganized, adding an unnecessary burden to an already stressful treatment process. I hope CCRM takes this feedback seriously, because infertility patients deserve proactive planning, timely communication, and accountability from their medical team.

The doctors here are highly skilled and take time to review each patient's case carefully to identify the underlying cause of infertility. However, my experience with the patient care team was disappointing. They were consistently slow to respond to questions, and follow-up lacked continuity. IVF treatment is stressful, and I believe patients should be able to expect a more proactive care team and more timely communication.

IVF is long and time-consuming, but CCRM’s professional team made my experience smooth and comfortable. Dr. Jun is knowledgeable, patient, and highly skilled. Her hysteroscopy, HSG, mock transfer, and final transfer were painless, and her treatment decisions were consistently sound. Dr. Liu also performed my egg retrieval skillfully, with minimal pain and bleeding. The nursing team was supportive and responsive, especially lead nurse Christine, who provided detailed instructions and reviewed every step by phone. CCRM did everything possible to reduce the burden and anxiety of treatment. I had an excellent experience.

I am sharing this because the experience was unbelievable and many others report the same problems. Three years ago, this clinic was efficient, organized, and responsive, so I continued storing my eggs there despite annual fee increases and having insurance elsewhere. When I returned to thaw them, everything was different. Since July, the process has involved errors, unnecessary tests, wasted money, delays, conflicting information, and no clear plan or timeline. Staff repeatedly promised follow-up that never came. One nurse said the laboratory would confirm next week; another later said it would not open until next year. I cannot speak directly with Dr. Tazuke about serious concerns without paying hundreds for another consultation. Billing is equally disorganized. Months have passed with no progress, plan, timeline, or consistent contact. I cannot recommend this extremely expensive clinic for ongoing care; it is not worth the stress, time, or money.

This clinic has serious management problems. Although the physicians are skilled and the technology is advanced, the physicians appear unwilling to manage staff. Employees are slow, unresponsive, may refuse patients, and delay appointments. Of three fertility clinics I have used, this administrative and nursing team is the least professional and accountable—even UCSF is more responsive and efficient. They also use bait-and-switch marketing: calls from new patients are answered immediately, but established patients cannot reach anyone.

The doctor is very kind and patient.

Dr. Liu is wonderful! She is knowledgeable and down-to-earth. She made us feel comfortable and confident that she would do everything possible to guide us through each step.

The IVF journey is often long and complex. The steps can seem endless, new obstacles appear without warning, and the results often feel as though they come from a black box with no reasonable explanation. Even so, at CCRM, under the guidance of Dr. Jun and my nurse Nareh, I felt I received the best possible care. I had previously gone to another well-known Bay Area clinic but strongly disliked the experience—it felt like being pushed through standardized processes, with few opportunities to see a doctor or receive treatment tailored to my age and circumstances. The difference became even clearer after I switched to CCRM because their care was so comprehensive. From intake through every stage, this often meant additional testing, which they always explained in detail to ensure we chose only the options most likely to succeed and avoided failed retrievals, embryo loss, and additional cycles. It may seem tedious and time-consuming at first, but it is worth it. After several unsuccessful treatments at the first clinic, I switched to CCRM and immediately felt the difference. My nurse was knowledgeable and had an excellent bedside manner—she knew when to text and when to call. She was responsive and kind. Dr. Jun was knowledgeable, decisive, confident, and treated each of my precious embryos with great care. I was 41, and although the process was long, it was straightforward and every step worked. With supplements and acupuncture, both of my retrievals produced better-quality embryos. Before transfer, CCRM required endometriosis testing. I had never heard of it, but it turned out I had it. I underwent laparoscopic surgery for diagnosis and removal of endometrial tissue, then quickly moved to transfer, which was successful. Other clinics would not test for endometriosis—they would allow multiple failed transfers and then recommend another retrieval, which would have been impossible at my age. Overall, CCRM is thorough, comprehensive, and data-driven, and the results speak for themselves.

CCRM-SF's medical expertise is outstanding, but the clinic's operations and staff communication fall far below expectations—especially considering the high fees patients pay for this level of care. Our assigned nurse consistently seemed out of context and slow to respond. We often felt that we were managing the entire process alone, repeatedly following up for updates, clarification, or results that should have been shared proactively. IVF is already stressful, and the lack of coordination and accountability made it even harder. There are clearly serious issues with staffing, organization, and management oversight. Patients should not have to chase their care team or worry about missing critical steps. For such an expensive clinic, the experience was disappointing and frustrating. Unless CCRM-SF improves its communication, staffing, and patient-support systems, I would not recommend this clinic.

I found the clinic's communication inconsistent. The written guidelines said one thing, but the nurses gave different instructions. After I followed the written guidelines, a nurse told me it was unnecessary, which was confusing. I also found that not every interaction with staff was friendly.

I am a surrogate and must work with CCRM San Francisco because my intended parents had their embryo implanted there. CCRM's communication is extremely poor. They recently posted on the portal that third-party patients should expect longer communication wait times. A 2–3-day wait would be acceptable, but I have waited more than two weeks for a response. They called on a Thursday and said I would receive a response the following week. It has now been two weeks with no news. I have contacted them several times through the portal and left a voicemail, and my coordinator has emailed them, but we still have heard nothing. I was excited to start IVF medication with my next cycle, but now it appears we must wait another month or two. I would like to know why such a reputable company cannot communicate properly with its clients.

Dr. Jun performed my procedure, and Dr. Tazuke was my attending physician. They were both amazing!

Their services were useless—just statistics—and their administration and billing were terrible. Their carelessness damaged my credit score, and for months they even sent my bills to their own address.

To CCRM-SF headquarters/PE leadership: Dr. Jun and Dr. Tazuke are outstanding and among the best in their fields. However, the office administrator/clinic manager and certain staff members should not be there. They are unresponsive and seem completely unaware that they work in a fertility clinic, where every minute, hour, and day matters to every patient. You charge high fees for your services, but I should not experience continual unreasonable delays and missing lab results that make me question the accuracy of the outcome. I should not have to wait two weeks for a review because the clinic’s only nurse who can perform it is on vacation. Nor should I have to wait another two weeks because that nurse resigned. The office administrator/clinic manager, who does not know how to run a fertility clinic, is not being held accountable. This clinic is understaffed, or the staff clearly do not want to be there. I should not constantly have to correct misstatements, ensure records are reviewed, track down results, or make sure processes have been initiated and completed correctly. The way CCRM-SF currently operates is a disservice to Dr. Jun and Dr. Tazuke.

Words cannot express how grateful and delighted I am with my experience at CCRM. Every person we met during this journey was truly extraordinary. Dr. Jun—where do I begin? She is more than a physician; she is a precious gift. Her expertise, compassion, and unwavering support were exactly what we needed. Thanks to her attentive care, we are finally on the path we dreamed of. We could not have reached this point without her. My nurse Nareh is like an angel on earth. During the most emotional moments of treatment, her gentle voice brought me immense calm. She was always there for me, genuinely present and attentive, and remembered every detail of our journey. Her kindness made me feel valued, safe, and supported beyond words. Our phlebotomist Anat was another unsung hero. Her touch was always so gentle, and somehow she made every blood draw feel easy and reassuring. I always felt at ease in her care, which meant everything to me. Even the ultrasound nurses I saw regularly were incredibly kind and compassionate. Every visit and every moment with them made me feel deeply cared for. Our experience at CCRM was more than medical care—it was a journey filled with empathy, love, and hope. We are now expecting our miracle baby, and I sincerely thank every CCRM staff member. You gave us more than care—you gave us our dream. I would choose you again a thousand times.

CCRM is the best fertility clinic in the Bay Area. When I underwent IVF in 2023, 6 eggs were expected, but only 4 were retrieved and just 2 fertilized. Now I am 40, and Dr. Liu designed a strong protocol that produced 15 eggs! Dr. Tazuke retrieved 11, and 6 fertilized successfully. They are truly wonderful!

I am not especially upset about the poor IVF outcome itself. What disappointed me most was Dr. Tazuke’s lack of concern for her patients. She recommended various supplements, surgeries, and acupuncture through her affiliates, which directly led to diminished ovarian reserve, and she did not take time to understand the patient’s IVF history. She is a successful business operator. If you are young and have few infertility problems, go ahead.

CCRM has been a vital part of our fertility journey. Dr. Tazuke, her nursing team, and all the staff were very supportive and worked a miracle for us. We could not have built our family without them!

She noticed that I might have endometriosis and referred me to a specialist so I could address it before transfer. She is busy, but her team answered my questions promptly whenever I sent a message. My experience at CCRM San Francisco was heartbreaking. The clinic felt more like a money-making machine than a place people visit for hope and care. The lack of communication between doctors and nurses was shocking—it was as if they operated as two completely separate organizations under one roof. For a journey as overwhelming as fertility treatment, the staff's complete lack of empathy was devastating. I was referred to Dr. Sunny Jun, but I can confidently say that was a mistake. On the day of my embryo transfer, she did not even know my medical history. After my miscarriage, I was distressed to discover that their approach was entirely generic—nothing was tailored to my specific issues or previous struggles. How can a clinic claiming to be world-class get away with such neglect? My assigned nurse, Lisa, made the experience worse. When I began bleeding, I was frightened and desperate and called her for help. Her response? No doctor was available, and I should “hold on” until my next scan. Are you serious? I was in crisis, and that was the extent of their care. I have undergone five IVF cycles, but this was by far the worst—not only because I lost the pregnancy, but because I felt completely abandoned by the people who were supposed to support me. Even after my miscarriage, when I needed simple work paperwork completed to approve leave and process my grief, they could not be bothered. It was as though I no longer mattered because I was not a potential success story from which they could profit. I trusted CCRM San Francisco during one of the most vulnerable and difficult journeys of my life, but they failed me in every way. I wasted money, time, and emotional energy at a clinic that does not care about its patients. If you are considering this clinic, think twice. It is not what it claims to be, and I would not wish my experience here on anyone.

CCRM is wonderful, and I highly recommend them! Dr. Tazuke is the best doctor. She is knowledgeable, attentive to every detail, and very kind. The nurses and phlebotomists are friendly and excellent at their jobs! I was always in and out of the clinic quickly, so I could manage my long fertility journey around a demanding corporate work schedule. Thank you for everything you did!

**$30,000 bill and valuable fertility time wasted** CCRM assured me more than five times that my insurance would cover 80% and gave me diagnosis and CPT codes to verify. Months later, the doctor used different codes in the treatment plan, resulting in no coverage. I discovered this only because I insisted on checking three times before treatment. If I had not caught their mistake, I would have been stuck with a $30,000 bill. Their financial department is careless and incompetent. Do not trust their statements or the codes they provide. Clinic director Michael made matters worse. Even after I showed him screenshots of the diagnosis codes they originally quoted, he did not apologize. He was the worst of them. I doubt he will correct this for future patients. Run. I am relieved I lost only $2,000 rather than $30,000.

Beware of scams. A very dishonest organization that only wants to make more money from your frustration. There is no accountability. A doctor I had never met put me on a pill that could reduce my follicle count. The nurses ignored my messages for days, and when I finally saw the doctor, she said it was too late and I would have to wait another cycle after taking all those hormones. She assured me I would not be charged extra, but she lied. They later sent me a large bill for a service I never requested and was forced to receive. They pass you from one department to another without resolving anything. Save your valuable time, money, and frustration and go elsewhere.

Dr. Sunny Jun, nurse Louise, and the rest of the nursing team pay close attention to detail. Like others, I did not focus on Dr. Jun's punctuality because there are many patients, and the nature of this specialty means timing egg retrievals and embryo transfers takes priority. I will always be grateful that Dr. Jun immediately documented my endometriosis. This greatly affected my successful egg retrieval and first embryo transfer. There is little hand-holding here, and that is fine. Fertility treatment is challenging but well worth it.

I always have a great experience with them!

I came to CCRM after two unsuccessful transfers of healthy embryos at another clinic, where no further testing was suggested to investigate possible problems. Dr. Tazuke has been amazing since I first met her. She ordered additional testing, discovered that I had adenomyosis, and said it needed treatment before another embryo transfer. I am now 10 weeks pregnant from my first transfer with Dr. Tazuke and have 2 healthy embryos remaining. I also appreciated the acupuncture offered before and after the embryo transfer. I am delighted to have reached this point and highly recommend Dr. Tazuke.

I refuse to give them any credit, especially Dr. Sunny Jun. She has zero respect for patients' time, is frequently late, leaves you waiting more than 30 minutes, and her team is unreachable. The lack of professionalism is infuriating. Avoid this clinic at all costs if you do not want a nightmarish experience.

We chose this clinic because it was in our insurance network. Although we were satisfied with the medical care, the clinic fell short in handling prior authorization and billing. Specifically, they incorrectly required me to prepay a visit fee that should have been billed to my secondary insurance. This caused about $2,000 in unnecessary out-of-pocket costs and required considerable time resolving matters with our insurers. These errors could have been avoided with proper financial and prior-authorization processes.

She, Dr.Jun, is not good at keeping to scheduled times because she is extremely busy. But I think she is responsible. I saw reviews saying she seems like AI, but she does not. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sunny Jun is kind and a very capable doctor, so I will do a second IVF cycle with her. The ccrm nurses are also extremely kind. I am grateful 🙏🏻
