At NYU Langone Fertility Center, we understand the challenges of building a family. Since 1992, we have helped tens of thousands of individuals and couples have children on their own timeline using the latest, most advanced fertility treatments. Our main areas of expertise include in vitro fertilization, also known as IVF, and egg freezing, also known as oocyte cryopreservation.
The Fertility Center partners with Prelude Fertility to provide comprehensive, patient-centered fertility care. Our team, including board-certified reproductive endocrinologists and infertility specialists, nurses, and laboratory professionals, focuses exclusively on the needs of people with fertility-related concerns or questions.
Egg Freezing
For more than 10 years, NYU Langone Fertility Center has helped women preserve fertility by freezing their eggs.
Pregnancy rates achieved through established fertility treatments such as IVF are only one measure of our success. We are also a world leader in egg freezing, with more than 3,000 freezing procedures and 300 thaw procedures performed to date, resulting in more than 200 live births. For more information about our pregnancy rates, visit the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART).
Our physicians pioneered techniques used in preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), tests that can reduce miscarriage risk. We help people undergoing cancer treatment and cancer survivors preserve fertility whenever possible, and offer options including gestational carriers, donor eggs, and donor sperm. The Fertility Center received the Hope Award for Achievement from RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.
We are committed to developing innovative approaches to achieving pregnancy and preserving fertility, and we welcome a diverse patient population, including members of the LGBTQ+ community. Wherever you are in your family-building journey, the Fertility Center's physicians and staff want to help you pursue your goals.
