Going into our fertility journey, we were not sure what to expect, but from the very beginning, Dr. Fischer and her incredible care team (shoutout to Sam!) made us feel supported, informed, and truly cared for. Everyone we encountered was kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Our needs always felt like a priority, and we felt confident and cared for every step of the way. What can often be an overwhelming journey was made so much better because of the amazing people at Spring. We are now 11 weeks pregnant and closing this chapter with Spring, but we will forever be grateful for the role they played in helping us grow our family. We recently welcomed a healthy, beautiful baby boy, thanks to Dr. Fisher and the outstanding team at Spring Fertility. We worked with Dr. Fisher to develop a fertility plan that included intrauterine insemination (IUI) and one successful in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle. The entire care team was responsive, thoughtful, and consistently supportive. They even made time to help us on weekends, kept us informed about our options and next steps, and did everything possible to make the process as comfortable and hopeful as possible. I am from India, a country with a culture of warmth and hospitality. My experience at Spring Fertility surpassed every healthcare experience I have had before. Before choosing a doctor, I conducted extensive research and set very high standards for my final decision. I chose Dr. Klatsky because of his exceptional academic and research achievements, consistently excellent treatment outcomes, and personal qualities. He is a deeply dedicated physician who does everything possible to ensure that patients receive genuine care. I called him several times after hours, including during an emergency at two in the morning, and he responded calmly and patiently every time. On the day of my baseline ultrasound and blood tests, Dr. Klatsky gave me an honest assessment of my fertility indicators and the outcomes I could reasonably expect. He also took time to understand my values and priorities. When I told him I was very focused on the numbers and final outcome, he understood my goals and tailored the entire process accordingly. On the day of the procedure, his empathy and positive attitude put me at ease. We will recommend him to all our friends! Everyone at Spring Fertility, including the nurses and patient coordinators, is wonderful. They support you at every stage so that you feel cared for throughout the process. You can speak openly with them about everything, from symptoms to insurance and costs, which is especially important given the high cost of IVF treatment. The Salve app is continuously updated and highly informative; I hardly needed to search online for anything else. The medication instruction videos and MedTeach classes are detailed and easy to understand, making a complex process feel much more manageable. I firmly believe healthcare is about more than clinical expertise; empathy and the patient experience are equally important. Spring Fertility is an outstanding example of both. I initially had an excellent impression of the medical team, and they made me feel very well cared for. However, I am sharing this experience to help other patients better understand the process. After my initial egg-freezing consultation, we scheduled the process to begin in June, and I planned my entire year around that timing. I completed the preliminary blood tests, and the doctor told me I might need to take birth control pills in advance, depending on the results. I did not hear anything afterward and assumed everything was proceeding as planned, but I contacted them last week to confirm just in case. Today, they asked me to complete an urgent blood draw, then told me several hours later that the entire process had to be delayed because I first needed to take birth control pills. Because timing is so important in this process, this communication lapse means I have to postpone the entire process, which for me means waiting until next year. Although the clinical care appears excellent, this small oversight was extremely frustrating. I advise other patients to follow up proactively about test results and scheduling instead of waiting for the clinic to contact them.

I have to share that I have been at Spring for about two months. From the moment I walk in until the moment I leave, my experience is always wonderful. Overall, I could not have found a better team to care for me. My treatment is not yet complete, but I am very grateful to have such an excellent team. Keep up the outstanding work!

I highly recommend Spring Fertility. The staff is welcoming and compassionate. I had my first egg retrieval in early April. Dr. Hancock was amazing and made sure to answer any questions that I had. The communication with staff was easy and I always received a timely response. Spring Fertility made such a physical demanding process easier without me being stressed with the administrative side of things.

I highly recommend Spring Fertility's egg-freezing program. It was absolutely worth the cost. Every staff member was kind, professional, and efficient, including the receptionists, Dr. Hancock, nurses, coordinators, phlebotomists, anesthesiologists, and embryologists. Communication with my care team at Spring was seamless, which was essential to feeling supported and confident throughout. All my questions were answered the same day. Before each step, they uploaded materials for me to read/watch, preventing information overload. Monitoring appointments and blood draws—and there were many—were fast and efficient. Because appointments were scheduled early in the morning, I needed fewer days off work than expected. The egg retrieval was much more comfortable than I anticipated, despite my prior anxiety, because the staff were so attentive. I am very satisfied with the process and final results. They also called to explain the results.

I know some people may be frustrated by short ultrasound appointments, but I also recognize how many patients they serve in this area and how professional and efficient they are. From the beginning, Dr. Yoder was very honest about expected outcomes and the reality that egg-freezing results vary by person, which made the entire process clear and reassuring. Their app, Salve, made it easy to ask the team medication questions and helped me take each dose correctly and on time. The medication packaging also made refills very easy! If I have the opportunity in the future, I will choose Spring again. They made this difficult journey feel less lonely and gave me peace of mind. Thank you to the entire team!

I recently completed my egg-freezing journey at Spring Fertility. The entire process was smooth from beginning to end, and I am incredibly grateful. I worked with Dr. Yoder and her excellent nurses and care team, who made every step easy and stress-free. At one point, Dr. Yoder was away for a week, and I did not even notice because the continuity of care was so seamless. She still personally reviewed all my medications and monitoring results. That level of dedication truly impressed me. From the outset, they created a detailed, personalized calendar so I always knew what to expect, and everything went according to plan. Registration and admission were fast and efficient, and I never felt lost or overwhelmed. Spring also has an app where you can view all your medication information and contact your care team directly, which is very helpful. What truly distinguishes them, however, is that I could always reach a real person—a nurse or physician—even after hours. This level of access is rare and greatly reduced my anxiety throughout the process. The staff were warm and friendly at every visit. Even during a New York blizzard, the clinic remained open, and monitoring and testing continued on weekends, which truly demonstrated their commitment to patients. I am very happy with my results and sincerely grateful for such a seamless experience from both the patient and physician perspectives. I highly recommend Spring Fertility to anyone considering fertility care!

I was preparing to begin my egg-freezing journey and researched, interviewed, and consulted with five leading clinics in the New York City area. Once I spoke with Spring Fertility, the answer was obvious. This is a deeply personal and emotional process, and you need a clinic that will support you in the way you want and need. I am afraid of needles and blood draws and have been known to faint just thinking about them. Because of this, I delayed freezing my eggs for more than two years because it meant giving myself injections. If I can do it, you can too, especially with the help of the Spring Fertility team. I chose Spring Fertility for its personalized care and a team genuinely dedicated to you, where you are not treated like a number. At my first introductory visit, Lauren was very kind, patient, and confident about everything. She took the time to answer all my questions and ease all my fears. During these discussions, I learned that: - You are assigned a care team that you can contact through the app. - You see your own physician at every appointment rather than whichever physician is on duty. - Their laboratory equipment mimics the uterine environment. - Hormone protocols are tailored to your individual needs for the best possible outcome. - Treatment can begin according to your schedule. I booked an initial consultation and was fortunate to meet Dr. Klatsky. During that consultation, he explained the science and possible outcomes in detail and patiently addressed all my questions and concerns. We then completed an ultrasound and bloodwork, and he even shared a preliminary treatment plan. What impressed me most about Dr. Klatsky was his expertise and warmth. He was honest and transparent in the most caring way. He prepared me for the entire treatment process, helped me understand what to expect, and closely monitored my condition to minimize risk. Once treatment began, it included bloodwork and ultrasounds every 2-3 days, with monitoring increasing as the procedure approached. The clinical team made medication management simple, explained how to administer the injections in detail, and provided tremendous care and support throughout. At every visit, they were attentive and ensured that I felt comfortable at each step. On the day of the procedure, I was surprised by how calm and relaxed I felt. Even my mother was surprised! At check-in, they gave me a warm gown and blanket and heated my chair. Everything was very well organized. These seemingly small gestures made me feel incredibly reassured and created the best possible experience. The nurse explained postoperative care, and the anesthesiologist and Dr. Klatsky checked on me before the procedure. These details gave both me and my care team confidence. After the procedure, they checked on me again, confirmed that I had achieved the expected goal, and explained the best next steps. I am very grateful to Dr. Klatsky and the Spring Fertility team. I am extremely happy with the outcome and glad that I chose Spring Fertility to help me. My only suggestions are to introduce the entire team, including the nurses, so patients know who everyone is, and to make clear who the primary nurse is and when she works. It does not make sense when the primary nurse is unavailable. More juice should also be available in the lobby, and the appointment calendar should integrate with Google Calendar. I ultimately had to add every appointment to my Google Calendar myself, but it would be helpful if the team provided this feature.

Like many people, I had previously received care at another clinic. Dr. Yoder and her team, along with the front-desk staff, nurses, and laboratory staff, were all very positive, welcoming, and supportive. Pros: If a doctor here had not recommended a saline sonogram, which found a polyp, I would not be pregnant with my son today! Every ultrasound had been 'normal.' Ladies, advocate for yourselves! I had never even heard of a saline sonogram. I have shared my story with many people here. Cons: They do not accept insurance, and I had to work with the financial team several times to get a few bills corrected.

I am deeply grateful and cannot fully express how positive my experience at Spring was or how well I was cared for throughout egg freezing. From the front desk to the nurses and, of course, Dr. Hancock, everyone made me feel supported, safe, and genuinely cared for. The experience exceeded every expectation I had for care and support. I cannot imagine a better or smoother experience.

As a Spring NYC patient since it opened in 2021, the care and attention I received during my infertility journey were remarkable during an inherently stressful experience. Thanks to Dr. Klatsky and his team, I had one of my best experiences with a physician. Dr. Klatsky took time to understand not only my medical needs but also my personal values, goals, concerns, and mindset. He listened with care and empathy, making me feel fully understood and respected. The team also treated me compassionately and provided genuine support and responsiveness. They were truly wonderful throughout the process. What impressed me most was how skillfully he balanced medical expertise with deep respect for my personal values regarding the procedure. Based on my values and concerns, I made an unusual request that required a more challenging approach. Dr. Klatsky never minimized or dismissed it. Instead, he worked with me to find a path that respected those values while prioritizing my safety and health and seeking the best fertility outcome. His willingness to undertake a more complex, less common procedure and complete it successfully speaks volumes about his expertise and dedication. He was patient, explained everything, kept me informed at every step, and ensured we remained aligned. Most importantly, he treated me with compassion and kindness. I knew I could trust him and felt at ease about the procedure. Afterward, I felt not only cared for but understood and satisfied with the result. I will always be grateful to Dr. Klatsky and his team for being part of this deeply personal and important process.

My overall experience was excellent. The only improvement I would suggest is a more thorough explanation of what may happen during injections. For example, I did not learn until later that an on-call doctor was available. Overall, everyone was friendly, efficient, and communicative. The nurses responded quickly, which I appreciated because I asked many questions. They were very accommodating even when I was late to several appointments. My results were excellent too: 54 eggs across two cycles. Recovery after retrieval was also smooth with little pain. You should at least consider them! I worked with Dr. Hancock, Emily, Hannah, and others.

Spring Fertility ruined one of the most sensitive and personal medical experiences in a woman's life. Please read below: Update February 21, 2025: We finally spoke with Spring Fertility's client experience team and head of finance. They were condescending on the call and implied that we did not know how to read a cost sheet, even though we both work in professional roles. They ultimately admitted that we were never given the appropriate cost sheet for thawing and fertilizing eggs to create embryos. They offered only a 10% discount on a bill exceeding $14,500, which we found insulting, especially after they admitted their mistake. Our embryos remain effectively in financial limbo because unexpected hidden costs were not disclosed despite our repeated questions. Update February 5, 2025: Management acknowledged that the cost sheet did not include the split-cycle "post-billing" costs and that the employee handling the financial process "changed" during our treatment. No solution was offered. Original review: In January 2024, I froze eggs and embryos at Spring Fertility. Initially, the experience was positive: the process went smoothly and I achieved the outcome I hoped for. However, it sometimes felt rushed, and I did not always receive the attention or clarity I needed. The real problem emerged afterward. When my partner and I contacted Spring Fertility about the next steps—thawing and fertilizing the eggs to create embryos and deciding how to proceed with the staged cycle we had initially chosen—we were shocked by the finance team's estimate. Thawing the eggs and creating embryos would cost nearly as much as the entire initial process, including retrieval and medication. This was frustrating because we had understood that costs would be low once the eggs were stored. Twice, we were charged storage fees far above the quoted amount. Spring Fertility's finance team eventually corrected them after we reached out, but their due diligence and communication need improvement. Unexpected quotes involving thousands of dollars cause needless stress and reflect poorly on their business practices. Spring Fertility seems to lack transparency and due diligence. Multiple conversations with the care management team never clearly conveyed that the next phase could cost so much. We felt misled and might have made different choices had we known the full financial picture in advance. If you are considering Spring Fertility, I strongly recommend advocating for yourself. Ask detailed questions about every charge, document everything, and insist on written confirmation. This is an emotional and sensitive journey that requires clarity and transparency, especially given the major financial investment. I expected better communication and consideration from a private clinic at this level. So before proceeding with Spring Fertility, be cautious, ask every question, and make sure you fully understand all current and future costs.

Spring Fertility has three major problems, which is why I do not recommend it. 1) They do not clearly disclose pricing, so you receive unexpected bills. They have no process for personally explaining all costs clearly from the start. 2) They are much more expensive than other clinics. You could pay over $10,000 more for one cycle. 3) They do not ask initially about your insurance or whether they are in network, likely because they may not accept it. Important: other clinics in the city can bill some services to insurance, significantly reducing your costs. Insurance may cover parts of certain treatments even if fertility care is generally excluded.

An excellent, communicative care team.

Dr. Fischer and the entire Spring team are wonderful! Everyone is always kind and compassionate, scheduling is efficient, and they accommodated me well even when I was late. Dr. Fischer always takes time to listen, answer my questions, and make me feel comfortable throughout the process. I loved my experience and am very grateful I found Spring!

I had a very poor experience at Spring, and it's my biggest regret that I didn't go to NYU or Cornell like I was advised by many peers who have done egg freezing before. I committed to Spring for a specific doctor, only to discover on my own about 10 days into my process that the doctor I had chosen was actually on vacation (and it was very unclear who was looking after my care). My results were average to below average (the doctor himself described the results as "ok"), and it frustrates me that I'll have to do this again (to put my body through this again AND self pay again) vs doing this once with a doctor that would've monitored my care more closely. Please do NOT assume a smaller practice like Spring will treat you better - in fact, Spring's doctors rotate who is on call even every weekend, so there's no guarantee that your doctor will see you or even do your procedure. My communications from Spring have also been hilariously robotic, almost as if they want to reiterate that they see patients as numbers, not people (details below). In retrospect, the stability of an experienced institution like NYU/Cornell would've been a much better choice. It also would've been substantially cheaper (even if your insurance doesn't cover fertility/egg freezing, lots of related aspects like ultrasounds, blood work, etc might). I deeply deeply regret this decision and am sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision rather than a rash one like I did. // Additional detail: - I discovered the doctor I had chosen was on vacation only when I was about 10 days into the process - something that was never disclosed to me when I committed to Spring. I discovered this only from overhearing conversations between nurses, which then made sense why new people (nurses, doctors, admin) were seeing or contacting me every time with new and conflicting information at every turn. I have strong reason to believe my treatment wasn't taken as seriously and consistently as it should've, which likely created results that were (in my doctor's own words) only "ok." - When I brought this up as a concern to the Spring team on day 10, the situation was made much worse by their staff at every step. At first, I gave benefit of the doubt that it was an honest mistake. However now, the defensiveness and absurdity of the responses I've gotten make me think this was an active effort to conceal this from me. Some examples: a) A nurse who was completely uninformed robotically told me that I was told about the doctor's vacation at a meeting that I never even went to and directed me to a contract I had signed that had nothing to do with my concern. b) Another admin on their team called me, suggesting that I cancel my process. I was on *DAY 10* -- I had spent THOUSANDS of dollars on medications and had been injecting myself for 10 days. I was shocked that they proposed this as a serious suggestion, signaling just how out of touch and unsympathetic they are. c) The doctor himself called me from vacation and made me feel like crap. He kept emphasizing how I was taking time away from his "wife and kids" on his vacation because of my call (which I didn't even ask for). Ironically. this is literally exactly why I found it problematic the vacation wasn't disclosed. I didn't want to be in a situation where I was choosing between my health and imposing on someone's vacation, yet now, I was made to feel guilty about it even though it was a situation I had no choice in (and would've opted out of, had I known).
