    I would never recommend this clinic or any Kindbody clinic. I had already been told that they operate more like a business center than a proper medical practice. Unfortunately, my insurance works only with Kindbody, so I had no choice. Dr. Sandhimer is kind but seems inexperienced. She follows the textbook rigidly without investigating potential problems, which led to a failed IVF cycle. Even after the failure, she repeated the same protocol without any adjustments. One of the clinic's biggest problems is that egg retrievals are performed only on designated dates. Instead of adapting to your natural cycle, they make your cycle fit their schedule. For example, injections normally begin on day 2 of the menstrual cycle, but here you may have to wait until day 10 solely to match their retrieval dates. By then, your body may be approaching ovulation around day 15, so they increase medication to suppress ovulation. This may negatively affect egg quality. I had two failed IVF cycles at this clinic. I later became pregnant with another doctor who prescribed completely different medication doses. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Patients feel more like numbers in a system than individuals receiving personalized care. The only positive is that the clinic staff and ultrasound technologists are friendly and helpful. That is the sole reason I gave one star; otherwise, I would have given zero.

    Everyone was kind, welcoming, and helpful during my egg retrieval. They were knowledgeable and always available to answer my questions. Overall, they made the entire process very smooth.

    We had a wonderful experience at Kindbody and are so grateful for the care we received. Dr. Sundheimer and the nurses we worked with were incredibly warm and supportive. The clinic itself was always clean, bright, and welcoming, which made every visit a positive experience. We highly recommend this clinic to anyone on their fertility journey.

    My husband and I are deeply grateful to Kindbody, especially Dr. Sundheimer, Dr. Kathiresan, and the wonderful teams at the Santa Monica, San Diego, and Newport Beach clinics. Our first IVF treatment succeeded with the first transfer, and we welcomed our wonderful baby boy. We recently completed a second embryo transfer and are now pregnant again, once more on the first attempt and without complications. The doctors are thorough and caring, and they make sure everything is ready before proceeding to the next step. When we began our IVF journey, the Santa Monica clinic was the closest location, although it was about a three-hour drive. We never regretted the trip because the care was absolutely worth it. This time, the excellent coordination among Kindbody locations made everything much easier—our embryo transfer took place in Santa Monica, while our laboratory testing and ultrasounds were conveniently completed near our home in San Diego. We also want to give special thanks to Julie and Gabby at the San Diego clinic and Natalie and Katie at the Newport Beach clinic. As our fertility journey neared its end, Julie and Gabby surprised us with a thoughtful gift, warm wishes, and a beautiful card filled with kind messages that we will always treasure. The entire team is professional, thoughtful, and responsive. Kindbody truly works miracles, and we highly recommend them to anyone considering IVF. They are amazing!

    My experience at Kindbody Newport Beach was excellent from start to finish. The clinic was welcoming, organized, and reassuring. The front desk made check-in and scheduling easy, while the medical assistants were consistently kind and attentive. I especially appreciated the ultrasound team’s care, professionalism, and clear explanations. The warm staff and easy digital platform made everything smoother than expected. I recommend Kindbody Newport Beach to anyone on a fertility journey.

    My infertility journey was not easy, but I am deeply grateful to Kindbody for giving my husband and me the chance to become parents. I underwent six egg retrievals and two frozen embryo transfers. When seeking infertility treatment, any clinic or doctor can only offer you a chance. Kindbody gave my husband and me that chance. IVF never comes with a guarantee of success, but Kindbody Newport was a steadfast source of support throughout our journey. From the receptionists, medical assistants Jo and Melissa, ultrasound technician Kiana, nurses Aphril and Katie, and physician assistant Natalie to Dr. Sundheimer, every staff member was warm, thoughtful, and attentive. Whether I received good news, bad news, or was simply there for bloodwork, they consistently showed that they cared. I cannot express how grateful I am. My years-long journey with Kindbody was not easy, but it made me stronger and grateful for every opportunity—the frozen embryos—that allowed my husband and me to become parents.

    Dr. Sundheimer and her team were very kind and informative throughout the egg-freezing process. The clinic keeps you updated through its portal and offers after-hours assistance if needed. Parking is convenient. The entire team is warm, welcoming, and helpful, ensuring you feel at ease.

    Working with Dr. Sundheimer and her team was an amazing experience. I felt discouraged after three failed IUIs. They helped me regain confidence and supported me throughout the process. IVF is physically and emotionally exhausting, and Dr. Sundheimer and her team were incredibly supportive at every stage. I will always be grateful for my son. With help from the NB office and San Diego, I achieved a dream I had held since childhood.

    The Kindbody team was very warm and friendly, communicated well, and gave us excellent support throughout the process. The doctors and nurses were professional and willing to answer any questions. Their portal was easy to use and well organized. The one problem I encountered was the billing department. They overcharged or duplicated charges several times. I asked them to review every bill carefully and checked all the contracts myself, which is how I found every error, so I strongly recommend that every patient do the same. Apart from billing, the staff and medical team were wonderful, and overall my experience at Kindbody was excellent.

    I am writing this review on behalf of my wife. My wife chose this center for egg freezing because of her employer's benefits program. From the beginning, it was clear to us that this was not the right place for such a delicate and critical procedure. This center prioritizes profit over patient care. These were the problems we faced: 1. Very little physician involvement—Dr. Lauren met with us only twice, for about 15 minutes each time. The first meeting was at the start of the freezing process, when she was supposed to create a protocol based on my wife's history of migraines and medication use. After that, she was largely unavailable. Even the nurses could not clearly answer key questions, such as whether certain medications should be continued. The second brief meeting occurred after the freezing process, when she did not meaningfully explain why the egg freezing rate was far below normal or why the outcome was so poor. 2. Inadequate monitoring—Egg freezing requires careful monitoring, usually every one to two days. During the cycle arranged by this center, my spouse had only three examinations in ten days, but we were charged the full amount. 3. Premature procedure—The retrieval proceeded even though the doctor knew not all the eggs were mature. This caused many eggs to be wasted. Why? Because the center values money over results. The proper approach would have been to wait for the eggs to mature before scheduling retrieval. However, rescheduling would have cost them money, so they proceeded anyway. 4. Financial misconduct—At first, the financial team told us we had to choose between employer benefits and insurance rather than use both. We agreed to use the benefits. However, they appear to have charged both the benefits plan and our insurance company. Because there was no phone number and communication was only through online chat, it took weeks to receive a response. When they finally replied, the answer was essentially, ‘That is how the process works.’ Yet their own website clearly describes the financial coverage as including all tests and procedures. We repeatedly requested an itemized bill but never received one. Recommendation: Stay away from this center. They do not care about patients, only maximizing revenue.

    Extremely disappointing experience! My experience with Dr. Lauren and her team was profoundly frustrating and physically and emotionally exhausting. The warning signs were clear from the beginning, and I regret not heeding them. The initial consultation lasted less than 15 minutes, and Dr. Lauren focused almost entirely on selling me an egg-freezing package. Instead of taking time to evaluate my situation, she promoted their “multi-cycle” plan. I should have left, but I did not, and unfortunately I fell into their trap. During the actual procedure, only 50% of my eggs were retrieved. During a 15-minute follow-up call, she returned to sales mode and tried to convince me to undergo another cycle. When I questioned the poor outcome, she said the other eggs were “not mature.” If they were immature, why not give them an opportunity to mature in vitro, as some qualified clinics do? Worse, nearly 60% of the retrieved eggs were lost, leaving me with only 3 frozen eggs from 19 follicles. By any standard, this outcome is completely unacceptable. A competent embryology team would handle every egg carefully, try to rescue immature eggs when possible, and work to support the patient. That clearly did not happen in my case. Even worse, their financial team contacted me again after the cycle ended and tried to sell me another round of treatment. This was upsetting and felt entirely transactional, as though I were merely a source of revenue rather than a patient undergoing an emotional and medical journey. Dr. Lauren's clinic schedules everything around its calendar, not yours. They perform procedures only two days each month, so your cycle must be adjusted to their limited availability. In my case, I was forced to have the procedure the next day solely to fit their schedule rather than my biological response or ideal timing. Reproductive medicine should not work this way. Frankly, I do not understand how this clinic wins awards!

    Dr. Sundheimer, Natalie, and their team are amazing! They are kind, responsive, and extremely efficient. My husband and I are now expecting! Whenever we had questions, the clinical team was happy to answer them all and put us at ease. They were patient and thorough, making us feel fully supported. The pharmacy they use was also very friendly, with fast and convenient medication delivery. I am so glad we chose Dr. Sundheimer and the Newport team!

    My experience freezing my eggs at this clinic was extremely frustrating. From the beginning, the doctor appeared only for the initial consultation. After that, I never saw or heard from the doctor again. Whenever I had a question or concern, I was passed to a different nurse who seemed unfamiliar with my case and where I was in the process. I was repeatedly told, ‘We will ask the doctor and get back to you,’ but over two months I never received any follow-up. Communication was chaotic and completely disorganized. This clinic performs egg retrievals only two days each month. It was obvious that they squeeze everyone into this short window to maximize profit, regardless of whether a patient’s body is ready. That is not patient care; it is exploitation. What happened during my retrieval was even more unacceptable. From 24 follicles, they froze only 4 eggs. Every specialist I consulted afterward said this clearly reflected a clinic error. Whether it was poor timing, a flawed protocol, or simple negligence, the result was devastating. Worse still, they scheduled a post-retrieval phone consultation one week later, but the doctor never appeared. The explanations I received were inconsistent, vague, and frankly made no sense. For many people, this is a major life decision, yet the clinic handled my case carelessly, hastily, and as though profit came first. We spent nearly $20,000 on a poorly managed process with no accountability. I initially chose this clinic because of its positive reviews, but now I question whether they are genuine because my experience was a disaster. Think carefully before choosing this clinic. If you want thoughtful, personalized, accountable care, this clinic is not for you. The doctor disappears after the first visit, leaving you confused and unsupported and, in my case, heartbroken.

    Although my husband and I have experienced many ups and downs on our fertility journey, Kindbody has been by far the best support system and the best at identifying the underlying cause needed to begin a healthy pregnancy. I cannot wait to continue this journey with Kindbody Newport Beach ❤️

    I highly recommend this clinic. Every staff member is truly invested in your care. Dr. Sundheimer, Natalie, Katie, and everyone at the clinic are wonderful. I froze embryos here, and they talked me through the entire process, communicated clearly during the injections, and put us at ease during the retrieval. I am very grateful for their care and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

    Honestly, if my employer had not provided coverage through Kindbody, I would never have walked into this clinic. I am so grateful to everyone at KB Newport Beach for helping my husband and me achieve our dream of becoming parents. We are now twenty weeks along and cannot wait to meet our daughter! Dr. Sundheimer and her team are amazing, compassionate, and caring people. They are with you at every step, and the staff are always there when you need them. We had to undergo several embryo transfers before succeeding, but I am glad we persisted because Dr. S listens to your concerns and provides the best treatment. I highly recommend them if you are growing your family!
