    整个团队都棒极了。焦虑感爆棚的时候,能有这么体贴的人照顾你真的非常重要。我非常幸运能在CCRM接受治疗。

I recently had an initial consultation with Dr. Ryniec and had an excellent experience. It restored my hope, and I am very grateful for that alone. Dr. Ryniec was approachable and patiently answered all my questions. She explained things in an easy-to-understand way while providing a great deal of useful information, which made me feel comfortable. The patient care coordinator and front desk staff were also outstanding and very warm and attentive on the phone. So far, this has been an excellent experience!

This clinic is severely understaffed. Appointments running nearly an hour late is unacceptable, especially with poor communication to patients. They always cite being “short-staffed,” but if that is true, they should perhaps reduce patient volume until they can manage care properly. Unfortunately, it feels as though money and appointment volume matter more to them than patients.

I will review this clinic in detail later, as we are currently in an extremely stressful and disappointing situation with CCRM. For now, all I can say is: do not go to this clinic. They do not care about your health. This is not a medical facility; it is a business. The doctors are not professionals but salespeople. Find a clinic that treats you as a patient rather than a customer—or even an easy target.

The best clinic everrrr!! I’m so grateful and beyond thankful for this clinic. Dr. Ryniec and her team are the best! The way they care about each patient that walks into that clinic is so amazing. Also shout out to the front desk lady that always has a smile on her face for you when you walk in. 🤗 Thank you CCRM Boston!

My experience at CCRM Boston was wonderful! After visiting many fertility clinics and going through disappointment and intense stress, CCRM was a breath of fresh air. The laboratory, clinical, and administrative teams made everything easy, and Dr. Styer used a personalized treatment plan rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. With the CCRM team's help, my husband and I finally found peace and hope on our fertility journey. We are now expecting our baby and look forward to building our family with CCRM's help.

If you are considering CCRM, I highly recommend it. My experience was flawless. From beginning to end, their care, precision, and professionalism were impressive. This was my first IVF cycle, and both the egg retrieval and first frozen embryo transfer were successful. That alone reflects the CCRM team's exceptional clinical skill and their thoughtful, personalized approach to treatment. What makes CCRM special is not only the outcome but also the support they gave me throughout the process. My nurse Katie was very attentive and calm and always reassured me when I felt anxious. Her communication was clear, timely, and caring, which is essential during fertility treatment. Katie and Sarah were steadfast sources of support throughout my journey. Their embryology team was also outstanding. The care and precision in their work were evident, but even more impressive was the thoughtfulness of their communication. They fully understood the anxiety and anticipation patients experience at every stage and responded with empathy and professionalism. Their updates were timely, thoughtful, and extremely detailed. At every milestone, I felt fully informed and reassured and never wondered what was happening behind the scenes. This high level of diligence and transparency was essential during such a sensitive treatment process. It is rare to find a team that combines technical excellence with such thoughtful, patient-centered communication, and CCRM's embryology team does exactly that. Danielle on the financial team was equally impressive. She was patient and candid and gave me tremendous help in explaining procedures and insurance coverage. She made what could have been a stressful and confusing process feel simple and clear. Finally, and most importantly, I must mention Dr. Aaron Styer. He is a truly exceptional physician. His treatment approach was thoughtful and personalized, combining expertise with genuine care. I always felt that every decision he made was carefully considered rather than simply following a standard protocol, which gave me deep confidence throughout treatment. Fertility treatment can cause enormous emotional stress, but the right team can help you navigate it with clarity, confidence, and strong support. CCRM gave me that support at every step of treatment. If you are looking for a clinic that combines leading clinical outcomes with genuinely compassionate, meticulous care, CCRM stands among the best. I am sincerely grateful to this team and would recommend them without hesitation.

I highly recommend Dr. Ryniec, her medical team, and everyone at CCRM to anyone looking to begin a fertility journey. They were honest and transparent at every step and provided tremendous support. At every appointment, all the staff made you feel welcome.

I will describe my current experience at CCRM as objectively as possible. After two unsuccessful intrauterine insemination (IUI) attempts, I am now undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). Pros: - My doctor is Dr. Ryniec, who is compassionate and approachable. You do not interact much with the doctor, but I appreciated her initial consultation and follow-up visits. - Most monitoring appointments are highly efficient, with lab work and ultrasound completed in 30 minutes or less. This is very convenient when frequent visits are required. Cons: - Communication is very poor. You cannot reach clinical staff directly and must leave a voicemail or portal message. Even if you call in the morning, it is difficult to receive a reply by the end of the day. One of my messages went unanswered for a week. I was not notified of my genetic screening results and had to call the testing company directly because the results had been available for over a week. CCRM's system prevents them from seeing the results unless the patient contacts the testing company. - Appointments are limited. I do not know how this compares with other fertility clinics, but I waited three months between egg retrieval and embryo transfer because they were so busy.

All the nurses were professional and efficient. I arrived early and immediately had my blood drawn and vital signs taken. My appointment with the nurse practitioner began on time and was very thorough. Sarah explained everything, helped me feel at ease, and made sure all my questions were answered. I had an excellent experience there.

I truly appreciate the time Dr. Zimon spent reviewing our history and discussing possible next steps. My husband and I felt that Dr. Zimon was thoughtful, honest, and compassionate, and we are grateful for her willingness to work with us despite the challenges associated with advanced maternal age. Thank you!

Dr. Coniares is a very compassionate doctor who always takes extra time to listen to her patients. I feel reassured whenever I know she will be performing my surgery.

I wish I could give this practice more stars. I was seen by Dr. Styer and his team. Dr. Styer really takes the time to explain everything to you and listens to all your questions and concerns never feeling rushed. Everyone was so professional and the nurses and receptions were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I highly suggest Dr. Styer

I had to visit CCRM on my surgeon's recommendation to preserve fertility before an orchiectomy. Initially, I felt positive while browsing the website and entering the clinic, but my first interaction with the staff was extremely disappointing. I am a transgender woman. I followed every step and entered my chosen name and pronouns on the forms, and I present primarily as female. The front desk staff initially gendered me correctly while asking whether I had an appointment and why I was there. However, as soon as they learned I was there to provide a semen sample, they immediately began using the wrong pronouns. Everything had been fine at first, but for some reason they changed how they addressed me because of a biological factor. I hoped this was an isolated incident. Before the appointment began, my nurse asked to see my ID and immediately pointed out that the name on it did not match the name in my medical record. I tried to explain that my chosen name had been entered in the record, a decision made by my surgeon and me, but she insisted they could not accept my ID because the information did not match. Their solution was to change my name in the system back to my legal name, then continue misgendering me throughout the rest of the visit solely because of my treatment and identification, while also treating me very rudely. If I had a choice, I would never return to CCRM. Every staff member I encountered was extremely rude. I do not understand how they can have an "LGBTQ+ Family Building" section on their website and claim to support transgender people when their employees behave this way.

First, I am very happy to be pregnant with my first child after a successful egg retrieval and embryo transfer at CCRM. Medically, the clinic seems adequate, and I had no problems with my protocol or other aspects of treatment. My review is unrelated to CCRM's IVF success rates. The five stars are for their excellent satellite clinic in Falmouth, Maine, and Dr. Parsons, who was a pleasure and gave me considerable help and support amid the confusion at CCRM. Working with CCRM was terrible from beginning to end. Their billing department incorrectly told me IVF was not covered by my insurance, causing us to pay them $20,000 directly. I later learned in a chance conversation with the pharmacy that I did have coverage. This mistake caused us to miss a cycle while waiting for coverage to take effect, and they took 6 weeks to refund us. Dr. Steyr seems friendly, but during our direct interactions, including in person, I always felt he had another agenda. When he told me the first transfer cycle had to be canceled, he seemed impatient with my questions and disappointment, which I found very upsetting. All communication with the clinic and team occurs through their app, but my nurse often did not respond. This left me waiting, prevented me from obtaining medications on time, and left instructions for some medications unclear. Several times, I had to send two or three messages before receiving a response. Every IVF protocol differs, so there is no single standard to follow. Apart from injection videos, however, they provided no information proactively. I had to request a medication calendar and ask when to stop medications and how long to take each one. No one guided me or even messaged instructions until I asked. Their schedulers mishandled three urgent blood test appointments. Once, I nearly missed the appointment because the scheduler gave me a later time than the clinic did. On several other occasions, I was an hour late for work because I had to wait after being given an appointment time earlier than the actual one. Communication within the team also seemed poor. Dr. Steyr told me IVF would take about 10 weeks from beginning to end, but my entire CCRM process lasted 10 months. At least once, Dr. Steyr gave me a procedure date range, but the nurses then said he did not know the schedule and the procedure would actually occur 1-2 months later. Once, while I was traveling, I communicated my itinerary to my nurse by text at least three times. At the last minute, she said she "did not notice the dates," and I had to arrange care in another location, even though she had confirmed the dates by text and phone. My most charitable interpretation is that the nurses are so busy caring for patients that they have no time to care for them properly, or that dissatisfaction spreads because their leadership treats them the way I was treated. Online and in person, I often felt ignored, forgotten, and uncared for. Finally, I have been taking several medications since becoming pregnant, yet my care team has not contacted me once. I had to ask how long to continue the medications. Apart from that, I have heard nothing from them for eight weeks, and they clearly have no interest in supporting my transition to obstetric care. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone and will not return for future fertility treatment.

I came here thinking this place would save me, but it brought only endless misery. It is impossible to communicate with the doctors. Laboratory testing is scheduled neither promptly nor appropriately, and women are required to undergo invasive tests without adequate testing of their male partners. The clinic is cold, humiliating, and never proactively contacts the doctors. I needed to know my laboratory results, but weeks passed with no response. I was ignored and dismissed. The only kind person there is Emily. It seems I am not meant to have a miracle baby. I will not return or waste any more time here. Heartbroken.
    Nov 23, 2025
If you are a woman already exhausted from searching for the right fertility care, do not waste your time here. Only one staff member is kind. The others do not respond, do not care, and offer no help. Reaching your doctor is harder than finding evidence of Bigfoot. You do not matter here. They do not listen to your concerns or schedule follow-up appointments promptly. I could talk for hours about all the times they disappointed me and made me feel abandoned, always brushing me off with, "Our clinic manager will contact you." *eye roll* I should have known what to expect because the first people I met were extremely rude. They threatened to cancel my appointment for no reason, and things remained terrible afterward. Zimon herself is kind, but I have spoken with her very little: once in several months.

I highly recommend Dr. Steyr and his team. Dr. Steyr is highly knowledgeable and always explains everything patiently and thoroughly, helping me feel reassured and informed throughout my fertility journey. His nurse Katie is warm, attentive, and very supportive. She made an otherwise stressful process feel easy and pleasant. Special thanks also to phlebotomist Magda, who is always so kind and gentle that she makes every early-morning blood draw enjoyable. The entire team made us feel valued. They patiently listened to the "wild" ideas I found online and provided thoughtful, clear explanations and personalized care at every step. They are one of the finest medical teams I have had the privilege of working with. I was sad to leave the clinic because they had become such familiar and comforting faces in our lives, but I am even happier that, thanks to them, we are expecting a baby girl. Thank you, Dr. Steyr and team!

Without CCRM’s expertise and care, we would not have our healthy baby. We are extremely grateful to the team, whose exceptional care and compassion I felt throughout treatment. Dr. Styer in particular is a very kind, compassionate doctor who genuinely cared about us and wanted us to succeed. After speaking with several REI physicians, I found him the most caring by far. I highly recommend CCRM!

Absolutely terrible customer service! The nurses are pleasant, but otherwise—do not waste your time or money! Review their charges carefully. They are never transparent!
    Nov 5, 2025
If you want a “fertility factory” with atrocious service and no customer care, this is the place for you. After two and a half years of assembly-line treatment, shocking errors, and unusual conduct, we finally decided to transfer our embryos to another clinic. Here are some of our experiences and things I wish I had known before choosing a clinic: 1) CCRM Boston lost my blood test results midway through a cycle in fall 2025, disrupting the entire transfer cycle. While I repeatedly tried to reach the clinic and waited for a response, my medication instructions were delayed by more than two days, delaying estrogen treatment and throwing off the process. 2) During a follow-up call, I discussed a time-sensitive additional IVF cycle with Dr. Styer in fall 2024. A nurse later messaged, “Sorry, the clinic is full this month,” and said they could not accommodate the cycle because of patient volume. No one contacted me again. 3) All communication occurs through nurses on the messaging platform, who relay information from doctors. Speaking directly with a doctor is nearly impossible, and the phone system is fully automated. You must leave a message and hope for a callback, which does not always happen. CCRM Boston’s doctors and staff go to great lengths to avoid communicating directly with you. 4) CCRM requires both partners to undergo sexually transmitted infection testing every six months. This profit-driven policy surely generates substantial income for CCRM Boston. Staff repeatedly told us the FDA mandated it, which is clearly untrue. Our research found that most clinics in the region test both partners only once a year. 5) Billing is completely opaque. As IVF newcomers, we were too eager and mistakenly agreed to a prepaid cash package promoted by CCRM Finance, which our doctor said was the option “most likely to succeed” in summer 2023. Two and a half years later, after requesting itemized statements repeatedly for over a year, they still refuse to provide details of charges or balances. Our contract clearly states that we are entitled to refunds for services not provided—in this case PGT testing, since we never had an embryo transfer. 6) More than a year ago, after we requested a refund for PGT testing, a rude financial representative confirmed it would be returned to our credit card, but we still have not received it. 7) Research embryo freezing beforehand so you understand the service you will receive. We now have “day-one frozen” embryos, something we learned only afterward. We later discovered that many clinics do not use this method because it disadvantages patients. This happened because we were sold a “package,” likely so CCRM Boston could reduce laboratory costs. I have given CCRM Boston countless opportunities to contact me and resolve these issues, but they ignored them. This is honestly some of the worst customer service we have experienced. It feels like dealing with a large health insurer. The fertility journey is already difficult enough and should not be made harder by an IVF clinic. Calling CCRM Boston was an enormous mistake for my husband and me, and we deeply regret it.

Professional, convenient, punctual, and efficient service. No complaints!

My husband and I recently began our fertility journey, and this was my second visit with Dr. Renick. I had planned to undergo fertility testing but unexpectedly learned that we had conceived naturally! We hope for a healthy pregnancy, but if we need fertility support in the future, we will certainly return to Dr. Renick. Why her? The answer is simple: she is compassionate, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We sincerely appreciate her care and guidance.

“I had my test on June 20.” More than a month has passed, and neither I nor even my attending doctor has received the results. CCRM, this is very unprofessional.
    Sep 26, 2025
I do not recommend working with them if you do not have insurance. Their business model is clearly centered on billing insurance companies, with no consideration for patient costs. A 1-hour video call with a doctor for new-patient intake cost $475. Unnecessary blood tests cost up to $900, although the same tests can be purchased directly from LabCorp for half the price. These details were never discussed with a financial counselor before treatment. If you have very comprehensive insurance, they seem to know what they are doing. If you are paying out of pocket, find another clinic that offers direct patient care.

I cannot recommend the Boston CCRM office enough! They were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and empathetic. I came in with lots of questions. Dr. Zimon did an amazing job of answering my questions, providing context, and giving guidance without pushing me towards any one decision. Prior to my first visit the team had already contacted my insurance company and provided me with details on my coverage. So helpful!
    Aug 18, 2025
Their administrative and care teams are the worst I have encountered at any clinic or hospital. They did not even have my insurance information on file before ordering tests. If I had not tried to confirm whether my insurance covered them, I would never have known. I specifically told them not to perform the tests until coverage was clarified, but they did them without my consent anyway! Now they and the affiliated outside lab have sent me bills totaling $2,400, and I have not even received the result of one test! Choose them at your own risk.
    Aug 22, 2025
I would avoid CCRM Boston. Objectively, their data is not very good. Their administration is chaotic, they rely heavily on part-time staff, the nursing is poor, communication is lacking, and they insist that patients’ insurance will not provide reimbursement just so they do not have to handle the process. At least some of their younger doctors have poor skills and merely post on Instagram and social media to appear professional. Do not be fooled.

I received care at this clinic for more than two and a half years. At the beginning, I felt hopeful and confident in their recommendations. Unfortunately, after multiple failed IUIs and multiple failed IVF cycles, that hope gradually turned into frustration and disappointment. Over time, I began to feel less like a person and more like a chart in their system. The diagnosis of “unexplained infertility” was barely explained, and meaningful communication became increasingly rare. Since my first visit in October 2023, I can count on one hand the number of times I truly communicated with a doctor. In contrast, I often felt more supported by the ultrasound technicians than by the medical team responsible for my care. Delayed communication became routine, and different staff members seemed to answer questions inconsistently, adding to my confusion. One especially frustrating incident occurred when I arrived for a biopsy and the doctor handed me a form on the spot stating that the test was not covered by insurance and requesting my credit card information. There had been no prior discussion or transparency. After connecting with other women and learning how their fertility clinics took a more proactive and personalized approach, with earlier testing, tailored treatment plans, and clear explanations, I wish I had trusted my instincts and explored other options sooner. I kept hoping this clinic would help me become a biological mother. But after a final call lasting less than 30 seconds, delivered in a flat tone without empathy or a deeper understanding of my situation, I knew it was time to move on. They simply told me that IVF had failed again and suggested trying once more, still without attempting to understand or explain why. After more than two years of blood tests, procedures, and emotional and financial investment, I was left only with the vague label of “unexplained infertility.” It felt as though the clinic had given up on truly understanding my situation. I hope others receive more proactive support. If you feel uncertain, seek a second opinion early. You deserve to be seen, heard, and cared for as an individual. I hope the clinic returns to more thoughtful communication and a patient-centered approach, ensuring that every patient genuinely feels seen, heard, and cared for throughout treatment.

Dr. Koniares took her time to listen intently, asked thoughtful questions, and demonstrated her knowledge and skill in developing a stimulation protocol that will hopefully not only produce quantity, but will also produce quality. We felt appreciated and heard. We feel very positive about moving forward with CCRM and IVF there.

As newlyweds in our twenties who were anxious about beginning our fertility journey, our experience with Dr. Koniares at CCRM was flawless. From the first visit, Dr. Koniares demonstrated exceptional knowledge and compassionate care and answered our questions thoughtfully. During a potentially overwhelming treatment process, she made us feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. As a young couple navigating this journey, this was absolutely the best fertility-clinic experience we could have had. We strongly recommend Dr. Koniares and the entire CCRM team to anyone seeking expert, compassionate care.

Communication with CCRM is a nightmare, at least with nurse Emma. Because she communicates poorly and responds slowly, I have already missed the start of two IVF cycles. She is also rude and lacks compassion. The process has left me uncomfortable and alone. Several years ago, I attended a fertility clinic in California and had a warm, wonderful experience. This clinic is rigid and, frankly, even mean. I would not recommend it to anyone.
    Jul 6, 2025
The entire process has been a nightmare. This place is awful for anyone with fertility problems or simply seeking help. Communication is extremely unprofessional. Staff returning calls make you feel pressured and question your choices and abilities; overall, they lack compassion and warmth. I expected a difficult journey but thought professionals would stand beside me and advocate for me. Reading these reviews, I see the same person repeatedly described as unfriendly, unprofessional, and lacking compassion. I am now in my second cycle, and because of poor communication and orders that did not apply to me, I missed the opportunity for bloodwork. I understand that if someone's period begins on a weekend, labs may not be possible, and that being called in for laboratory testing may be frustrating. But professionalism and compassion should always be present, and this place has neither. You need to do better for patients seeking your help. As a company, you must better serve people who already feel misunderstood, stressed, dismissed, and afraid. This process was simply not what I expected.

I am incredibly grateful to my care team, from the phlebotomist to my doctor, Dr. Zimon. They are all amazing❤️ I appreciate them so much.
    Feb 28, 2025
Everything involving CCRM is a problem. They are difficult to communicate with and were unable to process my sperm sample. I spent two hours jumping through their hoops without success. This was after they made me watch a video just to access disposal documents as though I were a child. Stay away from this place. Find another IVF provider because CCRM prioritizes form over substance.
    Feb 22, 2025
The staff at CCRM Fertility Boston are very professional. The front desk staff always greet visitors warmly. Ashlee, Dr. Zimon's nurse, was very supportive. Whenever I spoke with her, she was there with encouragement and guidance.

While the doctors and nurses are great, the billing department is terrible. Not only do they not answer messages through the portal, but they also don’t return phone calls. It’s very disappointing and makes an already stressful situation even more stressful. Be sure to stay on them and reach out to genetic labs, insurances to see the status of things as they often are looking for the billing team to provide them with information. It is amazing to me how many times labs and my insurance have reached out to the billing clinic and not received what is needed. It’s sad because moving forward, I wouldn’t choose CCRM and it’s not because of the doctors or nurses and strictly due to the billing team being unprofessionally. It I was rating the billing team solely, they would receive 0 stars.

For those unfamiliar with it: the IVF process is not easy. It is not merely difficult. The process is extremely difficult. The people here are highly dedicated, thoughtful, and skilled. Of course, I would rate them higher if we had a child...but perhaps we will in a few months... Joel Long.

This place is a joke. They only want your money and do not genuinely care about anything else. They want you to undergo tests even if you do not need them or have already completed them, without even checking with your insurance company. All they care about is billing you, which obviously generates more revenue and seems tied to their performance somehow. No one knew which tests I needed, yet somehow they decided I needed this “large set of tests.” I had to confirm whether my insurance covered them because the clinic did not care. They simply want to be paid, which is fine, but provide proper customer service instead of being rude and careless. Even 1% empathy or a warm word might resolve the issue.

My cycle has started and I have contacted them, but they have not returned my calls at all. Even with all the calls, emails, and the app! How am I supposed to reach you? I feel that you are not paying attention to patients' wishes. Please do not let this valuable once-a-month opportunity pass. I am very upset because I have already paid all the costs out of pocket.

Go elsewhere in this industry. I regret ever entrusting my care to them after endless delays, conflicting information, appalling scheduling practices, and the most childish and condescending behavior I have seen from healthcare professionals. The way they treat patients is shameful.

I highly recommend Dr. Styer at CCRM! When fertility treatment was suggested to build our family, I researched Boston-area clinics extensively and ultimately chose CCRM. I am very glad I did. With Dr. Styer and the team, I had two children through several IVF treatments. My husband and I were always involved in discussions about recommended treatments and why. I never felt like a number. Dr. Styer's bedside manner is outstanding, and the CCRM laboratory is first-class.

One word for CCRM: excellent. We previously tried other fertility centers where we felt like numbers being churned through a system. Dr. Styer was the opposite: he carefully reviewed our history and circumstances and worked with us to find and refine the right protocol, ultimately producing an excellent result! We will always be grateful. I know some reviews mention poor communication, but that was far from our experience. Nurses responded within about an hour, and we never waited more than 3 minutes in the waiting room—not joking, it was incredible. CCRM clearly cares deeply about achieving first-rate results and excels at doing so.

After reading reviews about nonexistent communication and billing problems, I was nervous about using CCRM for egg freezing. My experience was the exact opposite. I cannot praise this facility enough. Nurses always responded promptly and very kindly, and I could always reach someone by phone, although I only needed to call once during regular business hours. I rarely waited more than 10 minutes for bloodwork or an ultrasound. Dr. Styer was my provider and was very patient with me. On egg-retrieval day, the care team was extremely kind and understood how frightened I was of surgery. The retrieval doctor met with me before I entered the operating room and afterward. The anesthesiologist knew how afraid I was of IVs and made the process as gentle as possible. I did not retrieve as many eggs as I hoped, but that only means we will try a new protocol next time. The process was frightening, especially alone, but CCRM's staff made it as smooth as possible.

I cannot recommend CCRM Boston and Dr. Styer highly enough. Before switching to CCRM Boston, I completed 2 stimulation cycles and 5 transfers at Boston IVF, all using high-quality day-5 embryos, and had nothing but 2 chemical pregnancies. The doctor there kept telling me all the failures were “bad luck.” I finally realized I could not continue my IVF journey at Boston IVF. It had become a nightmare. Last July, when I learned my fifth transfer had failed, I immediately scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Styer. I am now so glad I did not lose hope and tried CCRM! Dr. Styer truly saved me. He personally performed all my ultrasounds and made several changes to my protocol. And guess what? We became pregnant on our first attempt at CCRM last November. I am now holding my beautiful newborn daughter! Words cannot express my gratitude to CCRM Boston and Dr. Styer. CCRM is not a baby factory like many other IVF clinics. The doctors truly care and tailor treatment to your individual situation. For couples still on this journey, I highly recommend making CCRM your first choice. 2024 update after 3 years! I had my second transfer last August and am now holding my CCRM baby #2. My family is now complete. Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Styer and his team! They are the best! Advice for future parents: The supporting administrative team still has room for improvement. We all know fertility treatment is time-sensitive and every cycle matters. If you choose CCRM Boston, closely monitor scheduling, insurance approvals, and other administrative steps. Be sure to make follow-up calls when necessary.

1000 times better than MGH. The best doctors, with success on the first attempt. Dr. Styer is the best.

I do not know where to begin, but the main reasons for my 1-star rating are misinformation, poor communication, and being made to feel like a number instead of a person. Misinformation: I needed a procedure, and an NP told me it could not be done mid-cycle because I might be pregnant. That did not sound right. When arranging the procedure with my own OB-GYN, I was able to speak directly with an MD—communication with an MD rarely happens at CCRM—and she explained that it should not be done mid-cycle because the margins are clearer after the uterine lining sheds, making that the best time. An RN also told me I needed a baseline scan by day 4. This was unexpected, and while away I had my stimulation medication privately couriered from Massachusetts. I sat all day waiting for the delivery. The next day I went to the Falmouth location for the baseline scan, which was supposed to have the lab and equipment, but no one had communicated this to the clinic and they could not do it. I called Boston, and a different nurse told me the baseline could be done on day 5, when I would already be back home in Boston. If the first nurse had given me correct information, I could have avoided the stress of reaching my specialty pharmacy on a weekend and privately couriering the medication. Poor communication: there are two portals, and I do not know why. It is confusing. Messages are answered, but with misinformation as described. Patients are told things without evidence explaining why a protocol is used or why something is unsafe. Laboratory results and notes are uploaded only if requested. Videos about certain procedures, protocols, or medication administration are helpful but do not suit everyone. Education should be individualized rather than sending everyone the same videos. As an oncology RN, I do not need to spend an hour watching a video on subcutaneous injections. Care plans should be shared early, with detailed provider discussions about each option, but this did not happen. As a patient experiencing infertility for the first time, I did not know what to expect, and information was often unclear, so my expectations differed from what actually happened or would happen. For example, genetic testing was important to my husband and me. During my stimulation cycle, I was asked whether I wanted testing more extensive than PGT, but it would delay us 3 weeks and might cost $800. This could have been shared during my first consultation or even the second “regroup” so the delay could have been avoided. We declined because we did not want a delay. IVF is emotionally daunting and stressful, and CCRM's processes and communication made it even more stressful and emotional. Unfortunately, transferring elsewhere would cause a significant delay. I hope that within a month or two I never have to return. I think pregnancy outcomes may outweigh some people's frustrations with the process, which is why there are positive reviews. I do not know what other fertility-treatment options exist in the area, but I recommend researching communication before choosing a fertility practice. 1* because everyone was very kind when speaking with me, and the phlebotomist was excellent. If CCRM changes its technology, adjusts its processes, offers more transparency and insight into the “care plan” and the evidence behind protocols and clinical standards, and has MDs be more thorough during appointments, I believe this could be a five-star practice.
