I had a hysterosalpingogram and saline sonogram at Shady Grove Fertility, and the experience was excellent. Today, Dr. Kendall, Dee, and Michelle were all with me throughout my appointment. They were very kind and welcoming and made me feel at ease. I am so glad to have found such a beautiful clinic with such friendly staff. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with fertility issues—a perfect 10!

I have secondary infertility due to DOR following ovarian surgery. My sister saw Dr. P for IVF, so he came highly recommended. My experience so far has been great. Dr. P and his team explain everything very thoroughly to make sure I understand. Katherine, who is part of the pretesting team, was so kind and helpful during the initial testing stage.

To families with children and Shady Grove management: My husband and I have always longed for a second child. Our first—and so far only—child came to us miraculously, and we cherish him deeply. Our son has dreamed of having a little brother since he was young. We therefore came to Shady Grove full of hope. At the front desk, a receptionist took my son by the arm and “politely” led him out of the clinic without asking or getting my permission. She explained that children were not allowed—“It is clinic policy.” We felt extremely upset and embarrassed. Our son was disappointed too. Even worse, my husband had previously brought our son here, and the consultation went very smoothly. It seems the clinic does not enforce its policy consistently. This was a painful experience. Our son came to the clinic with his parents in the hope of fulfilling his greatest wish—a little brother—only to be treated differently, as though he did not belong. I strongly urge management to review the front desk staff's approach to patient service. Because of this style of communication, many families may ultimately miss out on genuinely expensive medical care and consultations. A little more consideration and clear communication would make a major difference. This terrible first impression truly hurt me. Incidentally, I did not notice any restrictions posted at the entrance.

Everyone at Shady Grove is so kind and helpful! They truly care about their patients. As Dr. Kendall's patient, I have always appreciated that she takes the time to connect with me, patiently answer my questions, and discuss treatment options. Her extensive knowledge, patient explanations, and thoughtful communication have all impressed me. Dr. Patounakis is candid and direct, yet also very calm and knowledgeable. With both of their help, all my questions were answered and I felt very comfortable throughout treatment. Nikki is my nurse/case manager, and she is amazing. She always makes time to answer questions, responds to portal messages, and is exceptionally thorough and thoughtful. You can feel how genuinely she cares about her patients! She stays with me until I have no questions left and never makes me feel embarrassed for asking something she may have already answered. Overall, the entire team—from the receptionists and phlebotomists to the case managers and doctors—is outstanding.

Shady Grove has been an absolute blessing to our family. We have been through many stages of our fertility journey... Words cannot express how grateful I am to everyone who cared for us—first, I absolutely loved working with Dr. Kendall. She was both kind and knowledgeable. I trusted her opinion completely, and she always patiently answered my countless questions. Madison and Ana always made me feel comfortable. Every time I saw them, they made me feel warm and happy, even when I had to get up early. Sharon was a ray of sunshine, and her genuine warmth made me feel welcome and at ease. My nurse, Dawn, also went above and beyond. She was always kind and took extra time to answer my questions or pick up the phone when I needed her. Thank you to Beth for warmly greeting me every morning and making sure every appointment ran smoothly. The clinic itself is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, but I especially want to emphasize that the people matter most during this process—they are what truly makes the difference. If anyone asked me where to go for help building their family, I would recommend the Shady Grove Orlando office without hesitation. Honestly, my experience has been amazing so far! Although I am not pregnant yet, simply starting infertility treatment at Shady Grove has already been a wonderful experience. I love the environment! It is beautiful and welcoming, and I actually enjoy being at the clinic. The staff have also been outstanding so far. Everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Communication is excellent, and they even offer an online consultation platform where you can receive quick responses. I have had infertility treatment before and became pregnant, so I am confident that Shady Grove can help me become pregnant again. I highly recommend going there! So far, I rate them 10/10!

If you are looking for reliable support during IVF, you have found the right place! As you may know, IVF involves many uncertainties and requires tremendous trust in your medical team. Shady Grove Orlando has the best care team ever!!! Every member of the Shady Grove team is kind and dedicated to answering all questions and concerns. As a patient, I feel reassured knowing I am not just a number here. Even the medical assistants and phlebotomists are outstanding! I have recommended Shady Grove to many couples throughout Central Florida! I previously received care at another clinic but was dissatisfied. I later heard extensive praise for Dr. Patounakis in several Facebook fertility support groups. Then I learned that my neighbor had two wonderful children with the help of Dr. Patounakis and his team. I transferred to Shady Grove and have been very happy with Dr. Patounakis! Despite my very low AMH, Dr. P's protocol and attentive care helped me obtain 4 blastocysts, which was an amazing surprise. After taking a break from IVF, I returned to Dr. P and received treatment from him again. Every aspect of his care was outstanding! Financial coordinator Nelida was excellent, responsive, and patient. She is a central source of information and is very kind! My fertility care coordinator Yuri was also warm and considerate. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Shady Grove Fertility. The entire team was highly supportive, caring, and patient throughout the process. Our financial counselors, Sherita and Nelida, were especially outstanding. They went above and beyond to help us arrange everything in a very short time, making a potentially stressful process easy and clear. Our registered nurse Nikki also made a lasting impression. She was very supportive, provided helpful information, and was always willing to answer our questions. I can be persistent at times, but the team never made me feel like a burden. They were always gentle, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. We are very grateful for the entire team's compassion and dedication and look forward to continuing our fertility journey with such an excellent team.

This place is incredible. I was previously using CRM in Winter Park and did 3 rounds there. Nothing took and I never saw my doctor (Jaffe) once...when I did, it was through zoom and she was incredibly rude. I decided to do more research and found Shady Grove. My aunt and cousin have previously used them in different states and both had success with them. I am self pay and albeit they're a little more expensive than CRM, they facility and care is WORTH IT. I pay $1,750 per lUl and that includes everything besides meds. From the beginning, my doctor Davis (unfortunately no longer works here) and the staff were extremely my friendly and attentive. Took all my reports from my old tests and brought me in for more testing. They put me on different meds and every single time I went in for an ultrasound my doctor was there. After Dr. Davis left, I was put under the care of Dr. Patounakis and he is just as amazing! I struggle with Hashimoto Hypothyroidism and PCOS so it's exceptionally hard for me to conceive. I've been trying to conceive for 2 years and have been on this long, tedious path of meds and vitamins trying to get optimal. I had a successful lUl the first round here...and I was so happy when I got the call that I cried!! I'm eternally grateful for their help and they'll make sure I'm good up to 8 weeks think they said, then I'll go to my OB. I really love this place and their staff. I had zero hopes and honestly I just try lUl over and over without expectations...but I was not expecting this and I am so, so blessed to have found this place. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and thank you to Dr. Patounakis who made me feel comfortable and reassured that my baby is measuring perfectly in everything! I would recommend 100% of people TTC to come here 💕

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would rather let my family name end with me than receive fertility treatment here. They were once a great organization, until they learned that my insurance no longer covered them. They canceled my cycle because I apparently had more than two follicles. However, I believe it was because they realized my insurance no longer covered their services. After canceling the cycle, they billed me nearly $3,000. Thankfully, they credited that amount, but now random charges are appearing on my account. They also took nearly two months to send my records, further delaying my treatment, and they did not even send everything. Their work was as careless as their concern and compassion. Now they are withholding my sperm and communicating with neither me nor the transport company I paid $750 to ship it. They have also charged me another $350 administrative fee. At this point, attorneys will become involved over their obstruction of my treatment and their complete lack of compassion for what my family and I have endured. Please do not go to her.

I highly recommend Shady Grove Fertility in Orlando, especially for patients like me with complex infertility involving endometriosis and DOR. From the start, Dr. Davis put me at ease and gave me his full attention for over an hour, making me feel like his only patient. Other fertility doctors listened for only 15 minutes before making it clear that they had other patients to see. He also provided follow-up care and testing after a biochemical loss. While other fertility clinics treated me like I was on an assembly line, Shady Grove Orlando believes in collaboration and shared decision-making and tailors treatment to each patient’s unique needs. The team worked closely with the Tampa Bay laboratory on my embryology testing and provided cycle monitoring closer to home before I traveled to Tampa Bay for my frozen embryo transfer. During my early prenatal care, Dr. Kendall-Rauchfuss, Dawn, Dee, and Alexa were incredibly supportive, warm, and welcoming, which eased my anxiety. Shady Grove Fertility also offered a shared-risk program, which gave me peace of mind after I had spent tens of thousands of dollars on unsuccessful treatment at other clinics.

We accompanied our donor to an appointment. We spoke with office manager Megan D, who was very kind and helpful. She made us feel reassured and understood.

I cannot say enough good things about SGF Orlando! They have the best doctors and team and supported us throughout the process. We previously went to another clinic in town, and switching to Dr. Davis was a night-and-day difference. He is an incredibly kind and talented doctor who listens and supports you throughout the IVF process. We greatly appreciated that he or Dr. Kendall personally performed every ultrasound, allowing us to ask questions at any time. The entire SGF team is outstanding and kind—everyone we met made us feel welcome. Our nurse Dawn was incredibly supportive and helpful. Dee always greeted us with a smile and encouragement. Every staff member helped us throughout the process and made us feel that they were truly on this journey with us. We were fortunate that our first transfer has been successful so far, and we are expecting our first baby this spring. Leaving their care was bittersweet. Of course, we wish we could stay with them throughout the pregnancy, but we will definitely return for baby number two!

I have been wanting to give feedback about Shady Grove Orlando for a long time, especially to my Doctor Joseph Davis. I was just really busy with my pregnancy and taking care of my baby. But I always think about the help that Doctor Davis and his staff gave me. I want to thank Doctor Joseph Davis, I had a wonderful experience with him, he helped me and my husband answered our prayer of having a baby, he is very knowledgeable , he knows what he is doing, he is like a Godfairy Father, he will listen to all your concerns, what I like most of Doctor Davis, he always has a smile on his face. He is a cheerful person and always positive. When I got pregnant, I was a little sad because he couldn't take care of the baby anymore. I needed to find an obgyn for the baby and me. His staff joked with him to become an obgyn too so he could continue taking care of his patients. I just want to let people who read my feedback know that you will not regret having Dr. Davis as your fertility doctor. He is the best, very compassionate doctor! All the staff are very kind and sweet. They welcome you as if they were your family. Ms. Dee in bloodwork even though she pricked me with a needle several times, I didn't feel the pain because her hands were so light. She’s super good in her job. Ms. Megan helped us with the paper works. We didn't have any problems because of her, she is a thoughtful person. Ms. Jessica at the front desk has a very nice voice. She will always help you with your schedules and appointments. I highly recommend it to anyone needing fertility help! I began treatment at SGF over a year ago and am happy to say our miracle is here! Dr. Davis, Dee, and all the front desk staff were excellent throughout the process. Although we were not accompanied at every stage, the team was compassionate, knowledgeable, and achieved excellent results.

I highly recommend SGF Orlando! I scheduled monitoring there while vacationing in Florida and had an excellent experience. Parking—There is a garage across the street, street parking, and a drop-off area. Building—Clear signs direct you to the correct floor. Office—Clean and tidy, with skyline views and natural light. Exam room—Clean and tidy, with a large monitoring screen, pillow, and blankets over the stirrups. Staff—Everyone was very friendly, kind, and helpful. My home clinic is in the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia area, where it is extremely busy and chaotic. The staff are overworked and stressed, patients are packed in like sardines, and there is no time to talk. We are moved around like a factory line and rushed in and out. The Orlando clinic, however, was very calm. Even after several IVF cycles, I felt reassured and safe as the staff guided me through each step and explained what they were doing. I left feeling valued and cared for. From check-in and the blood draw to letting me use the restroom before the exam and the exam itself, their bedside manner and professionalism were outstanding. I was very nervous about having a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), but they were so attentive that I barely felt any discomfort. Thank you, Dee, Brittany, and Dr. Kendall.

Update: My insurer said Shady Grove charged copays they should not have because we were billed for a "doctor visit" without seeing a doctor. The copay was refunded, but I still do not recommend this clinic. Check every bill carefully! Our experience was terrible. We liked Dr. Kendall-Rauchfuss, but she promised emailed answers to our questions and never replied, even after reminders. Months later, genetic testing made things worse. We both paid copays; mine was $250 instead of $25, though that was corrected. Staff said results would take 3-5 days and several weeks. After a week with no news, I messaged the clinical team and received results the next day without a written summary or call. The out-of-network laboratory then emailed that we owed $650. I wish we had been warned. I contacted Shady Grove Orlando about using an in-network lab. At 11:30 a.m., Faith at reception kindly heard my complaint and said Vidya would call by closing. She did not. At 3:45 p.m., Jessica said Vidya had left and manager Meegan would call the next day. Meegan did not respond until my insurance advocate called Shady Grove. She was defensive and said Liz should explain all financial/billing matters; I still do not know who Liz or Vidya are. She promised to investigate, "escalate," and "circle back." The next day she only confirmed we needed to repeat genetic testing and they do not use an in-network lab. I do not want corporate jargon when discussing family planning. Worst of all, after readily collecting copays, the clinic billed me 100% for an insurance-covered service. My insurer confirmed Shady Grove Orlando never submitted a claim despite receiving my insurance card. I do not recommend this company/clinic because communication, customer service, billing, and dispute resolution are severely deficient. They increased my anxiety during an already stressful time. Seek treatment elsewhere.

Dr. Joseph Davis, nurse Dawn Davidson, and the entire staff at SGF Orlando are a wonderful community that is supportive, patient, warm, and positive. SGF provides the highest quality care even to those considered to have “lower potential for success,” because rather than focusing only on outcome statistics as many clinics do, they treat every person with care. Their high success rates, quality care, and sense of community make IVF treatment feel neither intimidating nor stressful.

This doctor is amazing! We had always wanted a child, and we had a beautiful boy exactly when he said we would. He is now 3 years old. Thank you so much for his professional guidance. I recommend him to anyone struggling to have a child.

This organization is extremely rude. They waste couples' time, give them impossible tasks, and ultimately set them up to fail. For example, they tell you to take one medication today when another medication is unavailable. They send you to another city and expect everyone to follow their schedule. They do not respond when you call, but call only when they are free, without caring whether you are in a meeting, then blame you and tell you to speak politely. Stay away from this organization and save your time. God bless you. Update - They responded to this review and asked us to contact their patient care department. We did, but received very few responses and no one followed up. Stay away from this organization and save your time and money.

Very corporate. The environment is cold. They do not actually have more resources than anyone else. They collect payment at the visit, then send you a bill that you have to dispute with the billing department. I would go elsewhere.
