Fortunately and unfortunately, I have been coming here on and off for nearly ten years, through different stages of this journey. The care team in Pembroke Pines has always been very kind to me, and they have truly helped me a great deal. They include Dr. Christie, Miriam, the two blood-drawing vampires named Brittany—ha ha—and many others. I visited recently and happened to see Brittany, as the other one had moved away, and I was so happy to see her. I was delighted to show her a photo of the son we finally had after a ten-year struggle to conceive. Dr. Christie has always been the best, even when the news he brought was not good. He is kindhearted, and we are grateful that he successfully transferred our embryo. As for some of the discouraging reviews I have seen here, I would say that this journey is never easy from the start. You need to stay positive and treat others with understanding to receive the same in return. Wishing everyone success on their fertility journey!

The service at the Pembroke Pines location is terrible. I recommend that you not waste your time and energy, especially during the emotionally vulnerable experience of infertility! The doctors may be highly skilled, but that means nothing without a supportive team! Once, they sent me a bill, and when I went to pay it, the woman did not even know how to process it in the system. She told me I had to go to the Margate location, where the staff were very helpful, to make the payment. Then my fertility consultation began. Dr. Hoyos ordered a series of tests and gave us some instructions. He said the staff would contact us, but we never heard from them. Weeks passed, the test results were lost, and we had to repeat the tests. They said they would notify us of the results through the patient portal, but again, they did not. If I did not contact them first, they simply would not respond. Then I asked them questions about the testing, and they told me to go get it done. When I arrived, however, the person at the front desk said there were no test orders or pending items for me! They are completely disorganized! If you use this center, go directly to the Margate location! Or, like us, change your approach entirely, because this process requires personal attention and empathy, not indifference!

Ms. Lakita provided excellent customer service and was patient and understanding. I was a little impatient at first, but Ms. Essence took over my appointment, kept her promise, and helped me with the portal immediately afterward. Ms. Charlene could manage multiple tasks at once and was a great team player. Thank you very much!

Where do I begin? Dr. Christie has been a blessing in our lives. From our first meeting, he made us feel comfortable, hopeful, and genuinely cared for throughout our entire fertility journey. Infertility treatment is not an easy road, but Dr. Christie and his team made it manageable and meaningful. His kindness, expertise, compassion, and unwavering support set him apart. He listens patiently, offers reassurance, and guides patients with sincerity and empathy, qualities that matter deeply in such an emotional experience. His entire team demonstrates the same excellence. The clinic has state-of-the-art equipment, and every staff member works hard to ensure that patients feel supported, informed, and never alone. At every step, we felt we were receiving the best care. Because of Dr. Christie, we are now expecting our first baby boy. A dream that once felt distant and nearly impossible has come true. Words cannot express our gratitude. Dr. Christie, thank you for everything you have done for us and so many others. We will always remember it with gratitude.

The IVF center in Pembroke Pines, Florida, is a good place to seek fertility treatment. The people are warm and friendly, and the clinic environment is pleasant. The IVF process took longer than I expected because I knew nothing about it beforehand, so I recommend starting treatment early.

Go to a different clinic. Staff has been rude to my wife and they will make you wait hours to be seen. We've been to the Margate location and would highly recommend going there instead. Doctors are great but the staff could benefit from a little kindness. How are they always running hours late by 945am without any consideration?

I strongly advise against Florida IVF. Although the doctor seems good, you will only see him once or twice and spend most of your time with nurses. During infertility treatment, the medication caused a rapid heart rate and other symptoms consistent with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). The nurses never asked how I felt or checked my vital signs during treatment. I had to advocate for myself, only to be brushed off. I had to stop treatment because my life was at risk. The front desk staff were also extremely rude. Once I waited over an hour to see the doctor because they forgot to check me in. This is highly unprofessional; they only care about money.

Terrible. I tried contacting them several times, but no one ever answered, and calls about results went to voicemail. The lab visit itself was fine, but getting the results was nearly impossible.

I came from out of town for bloodwork and an ultrasound while visiting family, with a 7 a.m. appointment. I arrived at 7 and no one was there. After waiting outside for 28 minutes, someone came and said they did not open until 7:30. Then why did your office schedule me for 7? Unprofessional, inconsiderate of patients, and a waste of time. I will not return.

I scheduled my wife for a 7 a.m. outpatient appointment, confirmed by email, but they did not open until 8. Who does that?! If they cannot keep track of their own hours, how can anyone trust them with something as complex and personal as reproductive health? A complete disaster.

I am filled with gratitude and joy as I enter this new chapter. Endless thanks to Dr. Luis Hoyos and his entire team: Leydi, a wonderful person; charming Noemí; incredibly kind Isabel; Dr. Karina; and all the women there. Dr. Karina is an excellent doctor and my favorite; she made my dream come true. Luis Hoyos, thank you for everything you did and every step we took together, up to the call when you said, ‘Congratulations 🎊🎈, we did it.’ I love you and recommend you 10000%!

We are beyond grateful to Dr. Daniel Christie and his entire team for their exceptional care throughout our IVF journey. From the very beginning, Dr. Christie provided a level of expertise, compassion, and personalized attention that gave us both confidence and comfort during a process that can feel overwhelming. His ability to explain every step clearly, answer our questions with patience, and guide us with both professionalism and empathy truly set him apart. What impressed us most was not only his medical knowledge and precision but also the genuine care he showed for us as individuals. I am adding to my review. See below. This was one of the worst experiences I have had with any medical practice. They do not respect your time, especially women's time. My wife and I had a 10:15 telehealth appointment. Fortunately, we were both off work and at home. At about 10:30, we called and were told the doctor was running late. We called again around 11:00 and received the same answer. Around 11:15, they called to say the doctor would call in 15 to 20 minutes. The call never came. When we called again at 12:00, they claimed they had called twice. My wife had been holding her phone and then set it on the sofa while waiting to continue our day. We received no call, text, email, or other contact. Making us wait two hours was absurd. I could understand if this were the only telehealth visit, but the previous one was similar. We were working and were told they would call around 9 p.m., but we did not connect with the doctor until around 11 p.m. This is deeply disrespectful of patients' time. Worse, telehealth is the only option for these consultations. If you need to see a doctor, they make you wait two months for an appointment! My wife had surgery with Dr. B, and they would not schedule her postoperative follow-up because there were "no openings." Several months ago, I provided a sample for testing and was called later that day to say it had been "lost" because of a power outage or something similar. I had to take another day off to provide another sample. They also refused to work with my schedule, forcing me to take time off again for their mistake. They made me feel like a criminal because of circumstances I did not cause. Overall, they are cold, unprofessional, and disrespectful. If you have another option, choose it. Added: surprise billing. I received another bill for more than $300. After treatment ended, they told me it was complete and I owed nothing else. Yet on August 9, 2025, I received another bill, the second sent directly to me after I was told treatment was finished and there were no outstanding balances. What truly angers me is that this bill dates back to October 2024, 10 months earlier. I dislike owing bills and always try to pay promptly. This is absurd. How can they charge me for treatment 10 months later? It is unfair. If they had submitted the bill to insurance promptly, this would not have happened. Treatment is emotionally and financially burdensome for families, and I would not wish this on anyone. Thankfully, we succeeded after four attempts, but their handling of payments and insurance was terrible. I do not understand how they get away with it. I spoke with them and called for months to confirm everything had been paid, and I was told nothing was pending with insurance. This is wrong. We need a new law to protect people from companies like this. They should be ashamed, but when you call, they do not care. They only want money or send the account to collections. They never take responsibility for their mistakes and always make you feel at fault. The billing department needs to wake up and process claims promptly. Receiving another bill 10 months later after paying thousands of dollars is completely wrong. Overall, my updated assessment is that they are irresponsible and disorganized. I wish we had other options.

Avoid this location.

I came in for some testing with Dr. Hoyos. Brittney assisted him with the testing. They are extremely knowledgeable and kind. I feel as if I am in great hands and am praying for the outcome my family and I are wishing for. Thank you for all your help and kindness.

The IVF location in Pembroke Pines truly is the best. What I appreciate most is the people. This process is already so emotional, and it is reassuring to be surrounded by an outstanding team that genuinely cares about you. I want to recognize a few people who consistently made my experience exceptional. Brittany R. handled most of my bloodwork, and I just love her. I do not like needles, but she made it quick and painless every time, always greeting me warmly and treating me with kindness. I also want to recognize April, who often performed my ultrasounds. She remembered every detail, and I enjoyed our conversations. It is wonderful to be in such good hands. Most importantly, Dr. Luis Hoyos! The timing throughout the IVF process was handled very carefully and precisely. He was present throughout and made important decisions at every step, and I am extremely grateful for his excellent timing and judgment. Despite how busy he must be, he also took the time to call me personally with updates and ask how I was doing. This professional team works well together and truly has a culture of care and understanding for patients and for one another. To anyone wondering whether this is the right place to begin an IVF journey, I want to assure you that it is one of the best. I trust this team and am deeply grateful to them. IVF FLORIDA shows women no care or respect. IVF FLORIDA failed me, and I am deeply disappointed: no empathy, flexibility, or care. That was my experience at IVF FLORIDA. If you seek support and respect, stay away from IVF FLORIDA. I am writing to formally complain about unprofessional conduct and the lack of patient-centered care at IVF FLORIDA's Coral Gables location, specifically involving a staff member named Heather and the front desk team. I scheduled an egg-freezing consultation three weeks in advance. As you know, this is not a trivial medical matter. For many women, including me, it is a profound and time-sensitive decision. Initially, the staff were polite and helpful when assisting with scheduling. However, after a minor error in the referral from my primary-care physician, their tone and behavior changed dramatically. Although I explained my limited availability—only four days off per month—they refused to offer any midday or afternoon appointment, even though they initially appeared willing to do so. I was repeatedly rejected without any attempt to find a solution. I was even pressured to travel to a less convenient location in Pembroke Pines, although I had explicitly scheduled care in Coral Gables. The dismissive tone and lack of effort to find a compassionate solution were frustrating and unacceptable. After weeks coordinating with my primary-care physician to satisfy their requirements, I was finally told they could not help me simply because my availability did not fit their rigid schedule. I was offered no waitlist or flexibility. The interaction made me feel punished for circumstances beyond my control, despite being an informed and cooperative patient. The clinic's lack of empathy, flexibility, and professionalism seriously undermines its stated values. I am deeply disappointed that my time, energy, and emotional peace were wasted with complete disregard for my medical needs and personal circumstances. I am submitting this complaint not only to share my experience but also to protect other women who may consider this clinic for something as important and emotional as fertility preservation. Compassionate, patient-centered care should be central to every reproductive-health organization. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Where do I begin? I left frustrated and disappointed, feeling that my time and money had been completely wasted. They seem to think money falls from the sky. There was an obvious lack of communication, organization, and follow-up. I paid for a service expecting professional care but instead felt ignored and taken advantage of. My concerns were never truly addressed, and no one seemed accountable for the poor service provided.

We are deeply grateful to IVF Florida. We will always thank Dr. Christie and his staff for bringing us our little joy. After trying for several years and seeing two previous doctors, I was ready to give up until my new gynecologist, Dr. Echavarria in Miramar, highly recommended Dr. Christie. From the moment we met him, we felt our confidence return. The staff and nurses were delightful, and everyone in the office was highly professional. They were understanding and compassionate and supported us through this difficult time. On Valentine’s Day last year, one year ago, we had our second retrieval with Dr. Christie. The result was exciting but also frightening because we had only one good embryo. We truly put all our eggs in one basket, but Dr. Christie continued to give us hope and encouraged us to continue. That embryo was transferred on Mother’s Day. It is interesting that all these special procedures happened on special days: My first retrieval at IFVFL was the day after Thanksgiving, and just before my birthday, I received the sad news that none of the embryos had good PGT results. Fast-forward one year, and today our baby boy was finally born. We feel our family of four is finally complete. Thank you again, Dr. Christie. We will always be grateful to you and the staff at IVF Florida Pembroke Pines. Everything you do is amazing. Thank you; you are all angels!!!! 🙏🏼
