Clinic Details

When Dr. Kelly founded Society Hill Reproductive Medicine in 2010, her vision was to create a practice that uses state-of-the-art technology and the latest research while maintaining a highly personal connection with patients.

Society Hill Reproductive Medicine does exactly that, allowing us to provide the kind of care we would want to receive ourselves.

Drawing on 30 years of experience in private practice and academic settings, Dr. Kelly has created a space unlike any other clinic.

Over 27 years in private practice, 3 years in an academic setting at the University of Pennsylvania, and a career teaching in hospitals, Dr. Kelly gained valuable insight into what matters most in patient care. She now applies those lessons to how patients are treated at Society Hill Reproductive Medicine and has carefully selected a team that shares her values.

Whether you come to us for fertility care or reproductive endocrinology care, you can feel confident that you are receiving excellent treatment from a team that cares about you and your health.

My fiancée and I were excited and nervous to begin building our family as a lesbian couple. She is 40, and I am somewhat younger. After careful consideration, we decided that she would carry our first child and that I might carry our second in a few years. After researching online and reading positive reviews, we truly believed we had found the right organization to help us through this important stage of life. We were excited and hopeful. After paying the $150 consultation fee, my fiancée attended her first appointment. I was working but joined by FaceTime so we could experience it together. During the appointment, the doctor explained that IVF might be her best option and said that if her eggs were not healthy, we could consider using mine. However, whenever my partner tried to ask about pricing or procedure details, she was interrupted and told, “We do not know how much you will pay with or without insurance. The finance department will contact you.” The doctor also repeatedly suggested that I schedule an appointment to become a patient. After the visit, they provided no meaningful information about costs, next steps, or a clear plan. It felt as though we had paid $150 only to be told to schedule another paid visit before receiving any real answers. Weeks passed with no call, email, pricing information, or next steps. I repeatedly called the Philadelphia and Delaware clinics and left several voicemails asking to speak with the doctor or a manager. None of my calls were returned. Because they provided no follow-up or service, I disputed the charge. Strangely, we then began receiving collection letters. An organization that would not return calls or provide information was quick to resend a bill. We paid for guidance and clarity but received nothing. The experience left us feeling ignored and dismissed, as if our desire to build a family mattered less than collecting a fee. Fertility treatment is deeply personal and often time-sensitive, especially for couples facing age-related factors and the unique challenges same-sex couples encounter when seeking assisted reproduction. Many individuals and couples invest substantial emotional and financial resources, sometimes taking out loans or making major sacrifices, to fulfill their dream of having a child. Encountering silence and a lack of transparency at such a vulnerable time is deeply discouraging. We remain shocked and saddened by this experience. Unfortunately, based on our visit, I cannot recommend this organization.

They charged $150 upfront for a consultation, only to send you home with a list full of medical terminology that requires Google to understand. They said someone from finance would call with pricing; in my case, they called a month later and said they had forgotten, after already taking my $150. Terrible service and a rip-off! PLEASE BOYCOTT. BE ADVISED: THEY WILL CHARGE $150 AND YOU WILL GET NOTHING FROM IT! GO TO CYN FOR UPFRONT PRICING AND NO DECEPTION.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to everyone at Dr. Kelly's office. Fertility treatment can be overwhelming, but this clinic never added any stress. They patiently answered every question, addressed every concern, and clearly explained what to do whenever I had questions about medication. I never felt like just a patient number or as though I was being ignored. This clinic helped me welcome my daughter in 2022. Today we graduated from the clinic and are expecting another miracle, all thanks to Dr. Kelly's office. The process can be difficult, challenging, and stressful, but trust this clinic and its wonderful team. They will support you and help you through it every step of the way.

After transferring to Penn, I became convinced that Society Hill should close. My new clinic at Penn provided much more personalized titration of IVF medication because it is open on weekends and holidays. Society Hill gives everyone the same protocol and barely adjusts dosages based on laboratory and ultrasound results. I also succeeded during my first round at Penn. To make matters better, all my out-of-pocket costs at Penn were much lower. Ask for an itemized cost estimate and compare it with Penn and RMA to see for yourself. There is absolutely no reason to choose this place over RMA or Penn. Society Hill is smaller, has fewer resources, and is open fewer hours, which affects outcomes. I also suspect that some of their reviews are not genuine. Many 5-star reviews come from profiles with stock photos, full names, and only 1 review.

I was very nervous about my egg retrieval, but Society Hill made everything go smoothly and made me feel well cared for. I appreciated that it was smaller and more personal. They adjusted my medication, and my egg retrieval was very successful. I liked being able to call the office and receive an immediate response. They made me feel cared for in a way larger clinics did not. Supporting women-owned businesses is important, especially in the male-dominated healthcare field. I recommended this clinic to my friend as well.

Without Dr. Kelly and her team, we would not have our daughter. They supported me throughout, answered my questions, and guided us successfully through IVF. I highly recommend this clinic!
