Unfortunately, my most recent visit was the most dismissed I have felt by a doctor in many years. Three years ago, I had surgery for endometriosis with Dr. Siegelstein and recovered well. When my condition recurred, I returned to discuss the next steps in treatment. At the start of the appointment, she asked what I wanted her to do, then said she was not interested in surgery and told me that having more surgeries would only make the condition worse and more painful. She went through my many symptoms and dismissed them one by one, saying they were unrelated to endometriosis, which turned out to be incorrect. Since there were no other effective treatment options, surgery was the only choice, so she said she could perform it in a few months if I wanted, but repeatedly emphasized that she thought I should wait until the pain became more severe. After consulting another surgeon, I concluded that Dr. Siegelstein's advice was highly unprofessional and lacked empathy. I would not recommend her for endometriosis care.

Words truly cannot express how grateful we are to Dr. Barry Perlman and his outstanding team. From our first appointment, everyone made us feel welcome, supported, and cared for. The reception staff were always warm, friendly, and helpful, and the nurses were remarkable. They were kind, patient, and thoughtful and always took the time to answer our questions and ease our concerns. Every interaction reassured us that we were receiving the best possible care. The clinic was also consistently spotless. Dr. Perlman guided us through our entire fertility journey with exceptional skill and extensive experience. Building a family can be an emotional and stressful experience, and having a team that truly cares about you makes all the difference. Thank you for helping us realize our dream of having a family. We will be forever grateful. We will always remember Dr. Perlman, the reception staff, and the nurses who changed our lives. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone on a fertility journey. We chose Damien Fertility Partners specifically to receive care from Dr. Damien, but unfortunately our experience fell far short of expectations, especially considering the significant money and effort we invested. We paid $3,500 out of pocket for one intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycle and drove 40 minutes each way on the Garden State Parkway every other day to receive his care. It was extremely disappointing that we were not told until one week into the cycle that Dr. Damien would soon be traveling to Antarctica. Had we known in advance, we would have rearranged our schedule or postponed treatment altogether. During the two-week cycle, we saw four different doctors, two of whom did not know me or understand my medical history. Staff attitudes were inconsistent and sometimes rude, with poor patient communication. When I struggled to understand the highly technical medication-mixing instructions, I received frustration instead of support. They also failed to monitor prescription changes properly, placing me at risk of running out of medication during treatment. Unfortunately, the IUI failed, and we still had many questions about the process and testing. I was surprised that a post-procedure consultation was not included, particularly given the $3,500 out-of-pocket cost. During treatment, when I asked questions, Dr. Damien repeatedly encouraged me to “trust him.” I later learned that obtaining answers would require an additional $110 consultation fee. Had I known, I would have insisted on clearer explanations at the time. Overall, the experience felt severely lacking in communication, transparency, and patient support during an already emotional and complex process. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but this experience was very disappointing, and I hope sharing it helps others.

In June 2024, at age 40, I began treatment with Dr. Barry Perlman and the exceptional team at Damien Fertility Partners. Two years later, I officially graduated from their care because I was pregnant, and I could not be more grateful to this extraordinary team. Walking into an IVF clinic for the first time is understandably frightening because of the emotional and physical strain of the process. But from day one, I felt genuine care, support, and understanding from everyone at the clinic. Dr. Perlman, the nurses, and the clinic staff consistently treated me with kindness, compassion, professionalism, and patience, even on my most difficult days. What impressed me most about Damien Fertility Partners was the warmth throughout the clinic. I was always greeted with smiles and treated like family. During anxious and uncertain moments, I felt reassured knowing that I was receiving expert and compassionate care. The clinic’s level of expertise is outstanding. I would absolutely recommend Damien Fertility Partners, especially Dr. Perlman, to anyone beginning an IVF journey. I sincerely thank them for helping me reach this milestone.

I waited ten months to finally write this review, and I am so excited! With Dr. Perlman’s help, my husband and I conceived our son, who was born just a few days ago. Although my case may have been somewhat unusual because of polycystic ovary syndrome, Dr. Perlman patiently listened to my concerns and developed the treatment plan best suited to my situation. My husband and I will always be grateful for the joy he brought into our lives! I recommend him to anyone with fertility concerns.

After 21 years of tremendous struggle, doubt, and countless unsuccessful diagnoses, God blessed me and led me to this clinic and Dr. Perlman. Although I had an excellent experience with gynecologic surgeon Dr. Siegelstein, I cannot recommend Dr. Damian because he and his practice made repeated mistakes.

Dr. Perlman is amazing! It was wonderful working with him. He made me feel comfortable, clearly explained his thinking, and communicated very well. I highly recommend Dr. Perlman and would absolutely see him again. If you are looking for an attentive, ethical doctor who genuinely cares about patients, Dr. Perlman is an excellent choice!

It is truly an honor, a privilege, and a blessing to write this review for the best fertility clinic in the field (trust me, I researched it). As a 36-year-old woman in early menopause, I never imagined I would be able to say, “I am pregnant!” Thanks to Dr. Damien and his outstanding team, I can shout it from the rooftops! Dr. Damien never gave up on me. He promised he would get me pregnant no matter what, and he kept his promise. I had one failed intrauterine insemination (IUI), two surgeries, stage-three endometriosis (EGF), and two failed rounds of in vitro fertilization (IVF) with my own eggs. I never imagined I would need donor eggs, but because Dr. Damien recommended it, I trusted him. The process was relatively simple, and my first transfer succeeded! I still find it hard to believe. I will spend the rest of my life thanking God for leading me to this clinic and making all my dreams come true. This is more than a place; it is the best choice for all your fertility needs. Dr. Damien and his team are miracle workers. I went through two IVF cycles, five transfers, multiple miscarriages, and a great deal of heartbreak. But when I met Dr. Damien and his team, I knew they were the right people for me. He discovered that I had endometriosis, which other doctors had missed, and my first transfer after surgery was successful. I now have the sweetest seven-week-old baby boy. Dr. Damien and team, words cannot express how grateful I am to you.

I had an appointment two weeks ago but still have not received my results. I called twice and left two messages, but no one returned my calls. A terrible experience.

If you need them to coordinate with a urologist, avoid this clinic if possible. We waited nearly three months for the office to respond about coordinating my husband's surgery. They essentially told me to stop calling and that they would call with an update. After a month with no progress, we switched to RMA about six weeks ago. The surgery has already been completed, and we are about to begin egg retrieval.

100/10!!! I could write a book about why you should choose Damien Fertility! Dr. Perlman and his team are amazing! When he says he will be with you throughout, he truly means it. Under his care, you feel heard, valued, and secure. I thank heaven a thousand times that we found such wonderful people who treat you like family❤️

I now finally have a beautiful four-month-old baby, all thanks to the love and support of everyone at Damien Fertility Partners. After everything it took to reach this point, we are deeply grateful to have found Dr. Perlman. I formed close relationships with Dr. Perlman, all the caring nurses, and the outstanding support team, and during my cycles I was in contact with them almost every day. Graduating and returning to my OB-GYN was very emotional! Damien Fertility Partners helped me become pregnant, and I am so grateful! I had tried on my own for 8 months without success and, because of my age, decided to have tests to see what was happening. I worked with Dr. Perlman from the beginning and had an excellent experience! We completed a series of tests, a polyp-removal procedure, 4 failed IUIs, and laparoscopy confirming stage 2/3 endometriosis. 2 months after surgery, I became pregnant during my fifth and final IUI! I could not have done it without my doctor and all the staff who helped me. Linda is also wonderful and had to deal with my fear of blood draws! The staff was always so kind and helpful, and I felt very safe there. When I had to graduate and transfer to an OB-GYN, it was a little frightening to go somewhere new after feeling so secure. I strongly recommend Damien Fertility Partners! They also successfully helped one of my best friends become pregnant! Many thanks to my doctor and the entire staff!!

Dr. Perlman and his team are absolutely the best! We are fortunate to say that thanks to him, our baby girl is due in April! Going to Damien Fertility Partners was the best decision we ever made. I had a terrible experience at another clinic in Ocean County and had almost given up hope. I highly recommend Dr. Perlman and the entire team! They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was at this facility for about two years. After surgery (lysis of adhesions and bilateral salpingectomy), two egg retrievals, and a failed transfer of my only embryo, I was told my egg quality was poor and that I needed to consider donor eggs. I switched to RMA. After 2 egg retrievals, I stored enough PGT-A-tested embryos and became pregnant within a year. The biggest red flag was that they performed surgery before even trying to obtain embryos. If you need to switch clinics, do it—or simply do not go here. Another issue is that every monitoring appointment included a specialist copay. With the same insurance, RMA never charged me for monitoring. Interesting....

I began treatment with Dr. Damien in February 2024. After having my first child, I experienced fertility issues and decided to try intrauterine insemination (IUI). I spent many early mornings there, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Liz and Dr. Damien reassured me and helped me remain positive when I felt defeated. In May 2024, I learned I was pregnant with twins. This January, my husband and I welcomed our baby boy and girl. We are extremely grateful.
