Today I finally graduated from the IVF clinic and can write my review. I once thought this day would never come. We had gone to another clinic but were unable to obtain any embryos, which led us here. Initially, we only wanted a second opinion, but we decided to try Dr. Simckes's clinic, and I am so glad we did. At the first clinic, we could not freeze a single embryo; at Fertility Partnership, they obtained 3 PGT-tested euploid embryos. After several spontaneous miscarriages, I was prepared to seek a surrogate, but the doctor and his team advocated for me, and today I finally graduated. It has been a long journey, but I believe the wait was worth it. Thank you to this amazing team for everything you have done for us!

I would not recommend bad experiences for out of towners

I began seeing Dr. Simckes in October 2025. We originally planned to try intrauterine insemination (IUI) again, but given parts of my medical history and some concerns, we decided to pursue in vitro fertilization (IVF)/Invocell. I am plus-sized, but Dr. Simckes did not turn me away. Instead, he gave me the tools I needed to lose weight and meet the criteria for IVF/Invocell. Within two months, I lost about 25 pounds and joined the December conception group. We retrieved 22 eggs, 15 of which were mature and placed in the Invocell device. We ultimately developed 7 healthy embryos! We transferred one, and I am now 13 weeks pregnant. When other doctors turned me away, Dr. Simckes was willing to give me a chance. I will always be grateful to him and his team for helping us complete our family. Thank you, Dr. Simckes!

Before choosing Fertility Partnership, we visited three other clinics. What impressed us most was our quirky yet brilliant doctor, Dr. Simckes. He is genuine, knowledgeable, and truly first-rate. He personally performs every ultrasound instead of leaving it to a technician, and he builds sincere, trusting relationships with patients. He welcomes suggestions and is highly collaborative. The clinic's care team is also exceptional! I cannot say enough good things about everyone on the team—from the nurse who took my vital signs to the front desk staff, financial staff, phlebotomist, stimulation physician, laboratory staff, frozen embryo transfer physician, anesthesiologist, and obstetrician. Everyone was excellent and always ready to answer my many questions, no matter how tiresome. I was not treated like a number there, and you will not be either. I highly recommend this clinic! Thank you, Dr. Simckes and the Fertility Partnership team!

The staff at this clinic were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with scheduling and check-in, which made a very good first impression. However, the appointment itself was very different from what I expected. The doctor was late and seemed unprepared, and the visit went off topic, making it difficult to get clear answers to my questions. Some comments made by the doctor during the visit also seemed unprofessional. I was also told during the visit that the appointment did not align with the timing required for certain tests in my menstrual cycle. This was very disappointing because no one had informed me beforehand. Afterward, I had to follow up several times to receive my blood test results. Although the staff were supportive, the overall experience was not worth the cost, so I decided to seek care elsewhere. I recommend that others do the same.

Dr. Simckes and his team are caring and highly knowledgeable. Communication was consistently smooth. Everyone was polite and kind. Special thanks to my IVF coordinator, Dash—you are amazing and do an outstanding job!

Dr. Simckes and his team are amazing. On November 4, we had a consultation about the INVOcell device and felt completely at ease from the start. He explained everything in easy-to-understand terms and even made a few jokes, which my husband and I enjoyed. We felt comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. I had visited other fertility clinics and always left feeling like a number, but Fertility Partnership was completely different. I happened to be ovulating during the consultation, and Dr. Simckes told me that if I conceived naturally, he would care for me for 8 weeks just as he would an IVF patient. That is exactly what happened. After 10 years of infertility, I conceived naturally. Dr. Simckes immediately arranged blood tests, and we received the good news on Christmas Eve—a moment we will never forget. Words truly cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Simckes. He is the kind of doctor who genuinely cares about his patients, not just procedures or the cost of fertility treatment. That is very rare. We are endlessly grateful.

This was the best decision my wife and I ever made. The clinic helped us from the beginning until we successfully became pregnant. I highly recommend this doctor; he loves his work. Here is the result. Thank you!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Simckes and his clinic. He truly cared about me and was exceptionally thoughtful. He genuinely wanted me to become pregnant. I am from Georgia, and driving to see him for the chance to undergo IVF was completely worthwhile. My coordinator, Lindsay, was also wonderful. She patiently answered all my questions and concerns, and I had many. I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you so much for helping make my dream come true.

I do not recommend this clinic. Background: We are out-of-town patients traveling from 5.5 hours away, with other children at home and almost no childcare. Several months ago, I called Fertility Partnership to ask about the process for out-of-town patients, mainly because their fees were lower than other clinics. The woman who answered seemed professional and was very friendly. She answered many questions and said they had many out-of-town patients. I asked whether remote monitoring was possible, and she assured me it was. Months later, when I was ready to schedule the required in-person consultation, I asked again about out-of-town care and monitoring and was again assured there would be no problem. My husband took time off work, and we paid for flights to St. Louis—despite having almost no childcare—plus Uber rides, meals, and a consultation fee of more than $400. Then the problems began. Our appointment was at 1 p.m., but we were not taken back until after 2:15. The doctor seemed very unprofessional, swore, and made comments bordering on inappropriate, but we continued. Despite all my pre-appointment preparation and the hours spent uploading previous bloodwork and medical history, he knew very little about my case. Next came the ultrasound. The closet beside the machine was broken, so we moved to another room. I later learned it was the egg retrieval room, not a sterile operating room, and I would not want anesthesia there. We again mentioned that we were from out of town, but the doctor said nothing. After the doctor completed the ultrasound, the nurse took over and explained the process. She assumed we would drive 5.5 hours each way every few days for monitoring, which was absurd 🤯. When I explained that monitoring would occur in our home state, she said the third monitoring visit had to be at the clinic and that most patients needed to stay locally for a week to complete monitoring, triggering, and retrieval. That might work for couples without jobs or children, but it was impossible for us. Had they explained this by phone, I would never have traveled so far or spent $1,500 to visit St. Louis for the consultation. I left the clinic crying and cried all the way to the airport. Valuable time, money, and resources were wasted, and we were back at square one. This clinic should allow patients to have a brief phone consultation with a nurse to answer questions like these before taking their money. Shameful!

Dr. Simckes is amazing!!! He is very understanding and dedicated to helping people build families. I am so excited to begin the process!!!

Dr. Simckes and his team are amazing! They explain everything you may need to know in detail. We cannot wait to begin our IUI journey! As members of the LGBTQ community, he helps families with two parents, especially two women, remain closely involved. We could not do this without him! Thank you, Dr. Simckes!

As a woman approaching 40 with a low egg count, I went to Fertility Partnership to discuss treatment options. They told me IVF was my only option. I wanted IUI but was told the success rate would be low because of endometriosis. At my most vulnerable, just after a miscarriage, I paid a nonrefundable $1,000 IVF deposit. After a month, I knew IVF was not right for me and trusted my instincts. A year later, I naturally conceived a beautiful baby girl. I called the clinic hoping they could help with injections that were necessary to sustain the pregnancy, but they did not return my call promptly, so I had to seek help from another fertility clinic. The support staff were very nice, but responsiveness was an issue.

I’ll be direct: you will never find a doctor and staff who care more about you and your family’s needs than Dr. Simckes and his entire office. There are not enough good things to say about Deanna. She is proactive, intelligent, responsive, and seems to know everything. She loves her work, and it shows in everything she does. If you want a place that puts your needs first, this is it. *It has been our special place from the beginning. Thank you for all you do, even on the busiest days. Dr. Simckes worries about making people wait and hates doing so, but I assure you that every minute spent in his office is worth it. Come experience it for yourself!!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Simckes and the people at Fertility Partnership enough! First let me say, I am writing this review with a daughter who is currently four months old who was made possible with the help, knowledge and care of Dr. Simckes and his team. After our consultation, we had no doubt that Dr. Simckes was the doctor for us. Not only was it clear he was very knowledgeable, talented, and hands-on, he is also very honest and does it all with humor which we loved. Dealing with infertility is a very heavy situation and being able to laugh and enjoy my appointments was such a blessing. Throughout the entire process, things were explained really well. I never felt rushed in and out of the office like I was just another number. I felt like everyone cared about me as an individual and our success. Everyone took the time to make sure I knew what was happening and next steps. Any time I texted or emailed our nurse coordinator Jordyn, I got a quick and friendly response. I never felt like a burden. IVF was not covered by insurance for us, so we specifically chose Fertility Partnership (and drove from Kansas City) because of their mission to keep IVF affordable. They were half the price of clinics we looked into in the KC metro area. We had two successful egg retrievals and one successful frozen embryo transfer resulting in our daughter. When it was time for us to switch to our OBGYN in KC, I was sad that I would no longer be working with Dr. Simckes and everyone there. I was so comfortable and got so used to going that it felt like a break up. TLDR: if you are struggling with fertility and looking into IVF, Dr. Simckes is hands down the doctor for you! He knows what he’s doing but on top of that your experience will be much more affordable and top notch with a compassionate and caring team.

I want to give special thanks to Dr. Simckes and his team! My husband and I had our first consultation in 2019. I had undergone tubal ligation in August 2015 after delivering my third child. A year later, I met my now husband, who very much wanted a child. We married in 2018, and I told him I would consider tubal reversal. I had the reversal in April 2019. A dye test in May 2019 showed that only one tube was successfully open, lowering our chances further. We began trying as instructed. Months became years. We returned several years later because we still had not conceived naturally. I knew I could become pregnant because I already had 3 children, so they evaluated my husband. He was diagnosed with a low sperm count. With both a low sperm count and only one open tube, the chances were even lower. Dr. Simckes started my husband on treatment to improve his sperm count. Four years later, in 2023, we became pregnant, but unfortunately miscarried at 8 weeks. A little over a year later, in July 2024, we conceived our now healthy, beautiful 6-month-old boy. We welcomed him on March 7, 2025, weighing 9 pounds 6 ounces. None of this would have been possible without Dr. Simckes and his team. Yes, it took a long time, but we never lost faith that we still had a chance. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making the journey worthwhile! 💕

My husband and I are immensely grateful to Dr. Simckes and his team. We tried to conceive naturally for two years before seeking fertility treatment in early 2024. With my PCOS and one blocked fallopian tube, having a child truly felt impossible and I felt my body was failing me. Dr. Simckes is direct and does not sugarcoat what he believes will work best, and he always explains why he recommends something. He is also kind and humorous and makes you laugh because he understands how stressful and difficult this is for his patients. Because of my blocked tube, he initially recommended going directly to IVF. When we asked to try IUI first because it was less expensive and we could not afford IVF at the time, he agreed to let us try the standard three IUI cycles before IVF. We ultimately chose IVF, but I would not change anything. I feel the IUI medications and preparation helped prepare me for the IVF medications, injections, egg retrieval, and transfer. Dr. Simckes’s team was always wonderful; Dash, Danielle, and Deanna were excellent IUI and IVF coordinators who were available around the clock. Everyone ensured that we fully understood each step. Dr. Simckes recommended weight loss to improve the success rate of our first embryo transfer, which I did; he was very kind about it. Our first IVF embryo transfer succeeded, and we welcomed our daughter in July 2025. We are from the STL area and moved 5 hours away several years ago, but every late-night drive and round trip, and every day away from loved ones, was worth it. After returning to my OB-GYN at nine weeks pregnant, I began to miss this clinic because its care is unmatched. Based on my experience, I will always recommend it.

Dr. Simckes and his team made me feel welcome and valued. They fulfilled a dream I thought impossible. I could not ask for a better fertility team.

The situation is so serious that we are filing with the Attorney General. We began PRP injections and IVF here in summer 2024, then explored donor eggs. Egg-donor coordinator Sydney told us everything required, and we complied. She took about a month to obtain correct male carrier-screening results, then after we paid for eggs, another month passed before the clinic signed shipping forms despite repeated calls. After another month, I requested a refund; the office manager/billing employee promised paperwork that day. We agreed only after she guaranteed a July cycle. The eggs arrived Tuesday; we drove 7 hours Thursday and were again promised a July cycle and same-day thawing. After signing consent Monday and asking the cost, finance said July was impossible. We reminded her that July availability had been promised before shipping and that otherwise we had to wait until next summer. On Wednesday, she said they had never thawed the eggs and could not cycle until August. We immediately requested a refund and paid over $1,000 to ship the eggs elsewhere. We asked the clinic to share the cost because its false July promise induced shipment, but it refused. They changed the terms immediately after consent, apparently expecting us to proceed. We are pursuing claims with the Attorney General for fraud and false promises.

Time for a negative review: negative five stars if possible. This clinic aggressively recruits new patients but responds terribly to concerns. PRP is their “hook,” and they prepaid a $500 scheduling fee. Even timely cancellation does not produce an easy refund; then calls, voicemails, and emails go unanswered. They should be called the “Fertility Fishing Center.” It took five months to reach patient-relations development manager Elena Plant by phone!

Dr. Simckes is wonderful! I highly recommend them. The friendly, knowledgeable staff made treatment easy and pleasant. My case manager Deanna always responded promptly; she was a blessing and made the experience feel special.

If you are looking for a place that truly cares about its patients and offers affordable IVF, this is it. They are very organized and give you exact dates for starting and stopping medications. Worth the trip from Kansas City!!!

We are extremely grateful to Dr. Simckes and our coordinator Dasha! We began our journey with Fertility Partnership in late 2024, and by March 2025 we were officially pregnant! We are so thankful after two rounds of IUI, medication, and monitoring. The idea and cost of IVF felt overwhelming, but having a dedicated team of doctors who genuinely cared and advocated for us made all the difference. We are very grateful for their support and expertise. This was the best decision!

This review is 6 years overdue! Time flies when you are raising twins! None of this would have been possible without Dr. Simckes and his esteemed staff. During our process, we discovered that I did not develop enough eggs even with increased medication. Dr. Simckes did recommend donor eggs because I had only a 15% chance using my own. But I knew I had come to this place for a reason—I was living in Oklahoma at the time. He was so honest: he did not tell me what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear. He is a person of great integrity. Still, I told him I wanted to try with my own eggs. He knew an unsuccessful result might hurt his 'statistics,' but he respected my wishes as his patient. After retrieval, only 2 eggs matured. We performed a day-3 transfer with both, with a 30% chance that one would implant. One egg was graded B and the other C. After the transfer, the doctor prayed over my abdomen. Later, there were things he advised me to do that I heard we should not do. But I decided to trust the process because I truly believed I was meant to be with this doctor. By God's grace and through all the hope we never lost, we were blessed with our daughters Skyley Grace and Ryley Hope. They are now 5 years old and are very healthy, intelligent, silly, stylish, all-star children. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us become parents, giving us a family, enabling us to have a beautiful life, and creating all the memories we have the opportunity to make every day. Sir, you are truly an angel! ❤️

The doctor is very kind and experienced, and his staff are also highly qualified.

They increased our embryo storage fee without consulting us and kept sending bills. After I left multiple messages and spoke with billing, no one returned our call. The medical team seems not to care after receiving payment.

Dr. Simckes and all his staff are always so kind, cheerful, and encouraging. You can definitely tell they do this because they want to help people build families, not for the money. I am not from the area, but there are no clinics near me, so I have to travel. Two years ago, I went to another fertility clinic in the STL area and completed 3 rounds of IVF, but my transfers failed. I found Dr. Simckes because I wanted ovarian PRP, so I visited his clinic, spoke with him, and had it done. I immediately liked him, what he said, and the plan he created for me. I trusted him with two more IVF rounds, and at ages 34/35 I had better results with him than I did at my original clinic at ages 31/32. I highly recommend him and his staff. The nurses, MAs, and laboratory technicians are all wonderful. Update: After transferring 2 embryos, I became pregnant with boy/girl twins.

I began my journey with Dr. Simckes in 2019. He took time to speak with my husband and me and performed every test imaginable to determine the best way for me to become pregnant. When COVID arrived, we paused until 2024, then continued where we had left off. Before I knew it, I was pregnant thanks to Dr. Simckes. The coordinators and entire office staff were very helpful and answered all my questions. I never had trouble communicating or getting the help I needed. The doctor takes time with every patient, which can make some appointments run late, but it is worth it!
    Feb 4, 2025
If you want a doctor who makes the experience enjoyable and less stressful, has a relaxed personality, and is completely honest with you, this is the place! The staff makes sure you know what to expect and understand the next steps throughout the process. INVOcell is a great option and is less expensive than any other office in the area. Our frozen transfer worked on the first try. It was an amazing experience from start to finish!
    Feb 16, 2025
Fertility Partnership was the second opinion my husband and I sought before giving up on starting a family. Learning that IVF was the only possible path was frightening and, honestly, beyond our budget. We felt stuck and did not know what to do. Fertility Partnership was the first place that respected us and offered options within our reach. The staff was very personable and thoughtful and genuinely cared about our journey to build a family. Deanna was our IVF coordinator and was present at every step of our journey! She explained things, answered questions, and guided us in a direction that made IVF feel less overwhelming. Once we reached early pregnancy, Dash took over. She was very positive and helpful during that nerve-racking time. Overall, we are extremely grateful that Fertility Partnership gave us a path forward to grow our family. Words cannot express how thankful we are for their expertise and guidance throughout our IVF journey.

Dr. Simckes and Samantha are amazing! They made the entire process easy. Samantha assigned me a coordinator whom I could text or call with any questions. She was always very kind and helpful. Dr. Simckes always made awkward or uncomfortable situations funny and did everything possible to keep costs down. We qualified for Invocell, which took less time and cost less money. Because of him, we had incredible success. We cannot thank his team enough for everything they did. Our transfer is Thursday. We froze a total of 6 very high-quality eggs. After being diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS, this means so much to me. Both of my fallopian tubes are unusable. He and his team are the best!!! Update: We welcomed our second baby with Dr. Simckes! Both worked on the first try!
    Dec 15, 2024
Words cannot express how grateful we are to Dr. Simckes. We spent two years trying to have a baby. We finally met with Fertility Partnership in early October, and by Thanksgiving we were pregnant. Deanna is an excellent coordinator who was available by text 7 days a week. This team works miracles!
    Dec 15, 2024
I do not even know where to begin. We were referred by an NP in Springfield, Missouri. At our first visit on October 1, we met Dr. Simckes and Deanna. They were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. My husband and I thought we could not have children. When we first met Dr. Simckes, he gave us the hope we needed. We underwent IVF with them and had a fresh transfer. It was successful, and we also have 4 more frozen embryos! Our nurse, Jordan, was very kind and attentive during both the transfer and egg retrieval. I developed late-onset OHSS, and Dr. Simckes was incredible. Even while on vacation and out of town, he called and texted me regularly to check on me. He clearly and deeply cares about his patients. I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing fertility difficulties.
    Dec 28, 2024
We love Dr. Simckes and his outstanding team of nurses and embryologists. Without them, our dream of having a baby would not have come true. Dr. Simckes is highly skilled and successful at what he does, but he is also very down-to-earth and funny. We had very successful IVF and FET cycles on our first attempt. We know other patients who had worked unsuccessfully with 1-3 clinics before coming to Fertility Partnership but ultimately became pregnant with Dr. Simckes’s help. My husband and I never felt as though we were walking into a clinic; it felt very comfortable and welcoming. Although we have graduated and now see an obstetrician regularly, I still text our IVF nurse with photos and updates. The team genuinely cares about its patients and goes above and beyond in the work and service it provides to everyone.

My husband and I pursued IVF because he had undergone a vasectomy. My older son has cystic fibrosis, and at the time we did not know how his health would progress, so we only wanted one child. After I had my second child and my older child was doing very well, we both wanted another baby. My husband is larger, so he was not a good candidate for a reversal, and there was no guarantee it would work. We decided on IVF, and Dr. Simckes was very honest and open about my age and low AMH. I ultimately had one embryo, a chromosomally normal girl. We were thrilled but knew she had to implant. I had the transfer in January 2024, and she did. Thanks to Fertility Partnership, I now have a healthy three-month-old baby girl. I appreciated their honesty throughout our time with them and am so glad it worked out for us.
