After seeing several fertility specialists and going through multiple failed IVF cycles at other clinics, I began to lose hope. For years, I wasted so much time with doctors who could never identify the cause. Then I met Dr. Vermesh. He took the time to thoroughly investigate the real reason I was not becoming pregnant, identified the problem, and successfully treated it. After years of trying, I can finally say with pride that I am pregnant, all thanks to him. I only wish I had found him sooner. Dr. Vermesh is truly the best. His care team is kind, patient, supportive, and always available. They remained positive throughout my fertility journey, which meant so much to me during such an emotional process. This was truly the best experience I could have imagined, and I will always be grateful to Dr. Vermesh and his wonderful team for helping me achieve my dream.

When you search for this center on Google, it says they provide fertility and gynecology services, but when you call, they say they only offer fertility treatment. They do not provide gynecology services, which is strange because their website clearly says they do. The woman who answered the phone was also cold, rude, and curt. They need to improve their service. I am sure you receive calls like this all the time, but you could either be more courteous or stop being lazy and remove "gynecology" from your name, especially if it is not your specialty.

My wife and I went to The Center 4 Fertility & Gynecology to see Dr. Tolou, and we were very pleased with the care she and her team provided. We felt exceptionally well cared for. Whenever we spoke with Dr. Tolou, she recognized us and knew our medical history. She remembered the medications we were taking beyond our stimulation medications, as well as any other health concerns or conditions we needed to monitor. She was warm and approachable and was always available after hours if needed. After I miscarried, they brought us in first thing the next morning to make sure I was properly cared for and to give us the confirmation we needed. Throughout all our treatment—including egg retrieval, two embryo transfers, and one embryo transfer for my wife—we worked with Dr. Tolou and Nurse Zenia. By the end, Zenia truly felt like a friend, and their good wishes and encouragement were heartfelt. We never felt like just a number. Every ultrasound and appointment was handled by the doctor herself, and every phone call came from Zenia. It was wonderful to have a consistent care team and to feel that they genuinely cared about us. We highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Tolou. We are now 17 weeks pregnant and eagerly awaiting our little miracle.

Dr. Vermesh is amazing! He is very considerate and gentle, and this was absolutely the best medical experience I have ever had. You can tell that he genuinely respects and cares about his patients. He is extremely thoughtful and attentive to both patients and their families. The anesthesiologist, Debbie, was also reassuring and friendly. She, Dr. Vermesh, and the entire medical team made me feel very comfortable and well cared for throughout. Highly recommended!

My experience with Dr. Vermesh and his clinic was deeply disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable—especially for something as serious and emotional as IVF. From the very beginning, it felt like neither Dr. Vermesh nor his staff had a clear understanding of my case. At multiple appointments, I was asked to re-explain why I was there, and comments were made that were completely irrelevant to my situation. While I understand that doctors see many patients, I expect at a minimum that my chart would be reviewed before each visit. That basic level of care and professionalism was consistently lacking. I chose this clinic based on a recommendation from a friend who had undergone IUI here. However, IVF is a far more complex process, and the level of care I received did not reflect that. While their pricing may initially seem more affordable, you ultimately pay for it in the quality of treatment, communication, and overall experience. Throughout the entire process, communication was extremely poor. I had little to no direct support from Dr. Vermesh, and the staff was unhelpful, rude, and often dismissive. There was no sense of compassion or attentiveness during what is already an incredibly stressful and emotional journey. Medically, my case was handled in a way that I—and other doctors I’ve since consulted—find very concerning. I was initially told I had 14 follicles, but 19 were discovered during the procedure. Despite this, I ended up with only one viable embryo, and my recovery from the retrieval was debilitating, something I wasn’t prepared for in the slightest. Based on my profile, this entire outcome was highly unexpected. It felt like my cycle was not properly optimized, and the guidance I received along the way was flawed. Only after my retrieval I was told about a two-cycle package option that would have been more cost-effective—something that was never offered to me beforehand. When I asked him to honor the price, while he recognized that he made a mistake in my retrieval, they still refused to honor the fair price. This felt incredibly misleading, greedy, and opportunistic. To make matters worse, my one viable embryo transfer resulted in an unsuccessful outcome and after being broken the news by some nobody in his office who can’t answer a single question, I was then told the next time the doctor could speak to me was 6 days later. He couldn’t even be bothered to pick up the phone and call me after all that I had just been through, all the money I had spent with him, and all the pain I was feeling. When I asked why, they said it’s because “he likes to carve out 30-45 minutes to speak to his patients”. BS!!!! In my entire experience with him of 6 months, if you added up all the minutes I’ve had in direct communication with this doctor, both in person and on the phone, you wouldn’t be at total of 45 minutes. On top of everything, the clinic environment itself felt unclean, and the staff was often rude and lacking empathy. You guys clearly have no clue what field you are in or how delicate these matters are for women trying to get pregnant. I felt so unimportant to Dr. Vermesh from the start and I believe my results were a direct reflection of his lack of care. I left this clinic feeling misled, unsupported, and taken advantage of. Even if offered another round for free, I would not return. I would strongly caution anyone considering IVF here to explore other options where patient care, accountability, communication, transparency, and results are taken seriously.

The painful experience of failure taught me that this program does not cost $12,900; completing one cycle costs $35,000. It is entirely a gamble, and the success rate is nowhere near 70%—perhaps only 15%. Please try other approaches first. IVF should be your final option. It is painful and frightening, and to them we are only numbers. They bill by the minute. We do not blame them for ultimately giving up on us; it is simply a business, and no miracles happen here. Make IVF your last resort, and do not set your hopes too high.

I would like to hear from people who became pregnant after tubal reversal surgery: how long did they wait before trying to conceive again, and what were their surgical outcomes?

Where do I begin? I previously had a terrible experience at another Los Angeles clinic, where an irresponsible doctor placed me on a very aggressive ovarian stimulation protocol without checking any hormone levels. The embryo transfer failed, leaving us with nothing. In April 2025, I met Dr. Vermesh. From the first consultation, he made no exaggerated promises, but his calm optimism immediately put me at ease. We used a gentle, carefully monitored protocol. He continuously monitored my hormone levels and adjusted medication doses based on the results. This personalized care produced an ideal outcome for me at age 39. The first transfer worked, and I am now 11 weeks pregnant with a healthy, thriving baby. Dr. Vermesh also recommended intralipid infusions to improve implantation. He is highly skilled, always kind, reassuring, and thorough. Reviews like this often focus only on the outcome, such as whether eggs were retrieved or a baby was delivered. However, clinics that offer elective procedures should prioritize the whole patient. I appreciate that Dr. Tannaz Toloubeydokhti and the Center for Fertility and Gynecology accepted me as a patient, approved exercise during my egg-freezing cycle, and helped me successfully freeze eggs. However, I also experienced preventable complications during egg retrieval through A.R.T. Medical Group, which handles the anesthesia and surgical aspects of the clinic's care. Despite my high pain tolerance and proactive efforts to optimize my IV placement and medication dosage, the anesthesiologist, Emmanuel, did not adjust his technique until my vein blew and I insisted on switching arms. At that point, a nurse suggested a small butterfly needle. Once it was used, the problem was resolved immediately and without pain. In addition, an unnecessarily large amount of IV fluid was administered, and the medication and anesthesia plans were not adjusted to my individual tolerance. This caused severe swelling, delayed lymphatic drainage, and significant discomfort while traveling after the procedure. 📌 Based on this experience, I recommend Dr. Tannaz Toloubeydokhti and the Center for Fertility and Gynecology, but urge patients to ask questions, voice concerns, and speak up if they feel pain when preparing for a procedure handled by A.R.T. Medical Group.

My employer provided fertility preservation benefits through Carrot, and I had many approved fertility clinics to choose from. I met with several doctors but was quickly drawn to Dr. Tolou. As others have said, she is very kind and attentive to detail, and her soft voice is calming. At every appointment, I laughed with Dr. Tolou and the nurses. I think this was the first time I ever looked forward to seeing a doctor. Because my AMH was below average, I chose a two-cycle package. The gap between cycles was longer than I had planned, but the timing was flexible. Many thanks to Nicole for her help with all the financial details. In the end, every egg retrieved was mature and successfully frozen, which pleasantly surprised me! As I understand it, some loss is common when freezing eggs. Great results and great staff!

This was my first IVF treatment. We chose this clinic based on the reviews and had high hopes. Unfortunately, the clinic was disappointing in many ways. Although I got along very well with Dr. Tolou and her nurses, I found many shortcomings in my experience. For a failed IVF treatment plan, it was certainly an expensive and eye-opening experience. Here are my observations: 1. The clinic provides a very low level of service despite how much we paid, and it truly made me feel like just a number to them. By "low," I mean that if something goes wrong with your cycle, they do not proactively warn you about the worst-case scenario or offer flexible options in the IVF package to ensure you receive fair service. For example, if you choose not to continue after egg retrieval, you will receive no refund after retrieval, whether or not you decide to proceed with implantation. Also, if you paid for embryo genetic testing ($5,000 for 6 embryos) but have only one embryo, you receive no refund. There are no warnings or reminders. If my initial ultrasound showed a low follicle count, I would have appreciated the doctor warning me about the worst-case scenario or giving me the option to wait until the next cycle before starting IVF. This truly made me feel that they only wanted to make money and did not care about my well-being. The entire experience left me devastated. 2. Their finance/billing staff may be the reason we decided not to continue treatment. Before treatment began, they did not proactively inform us about prior authorization or cooperate with us on reimbursement for medication costs. After receiving unhelpful, generic responses from their financial coordinator, Nicole, I found her difficult to deal with. Honestly, I was furious when I learned that I could have obtained the medication for $50 instead of $900. I was already dealing with the emotional stress and poor outcome of treatment and did not need her unfriendly attitude as well. 3. The team did not provide us with a treatment plan or timeline. Everything felt rushed, and we had little time to process or think. For example, I did not like having to pick up medication the same day because the injections had to be given at a specific time. I wish they had explained all these procedures to my husband and me before treatment began. 4. This fertility clinic's IVF package lacks flexibility, and when something goes wrong, it becomes very expensive. We started the IVF process but ultimately could not complete it, after spending more than $20,000.

My first experience was 100% satisfying. I was there for a consultation, and everyone at the office was professional and welcoming. The office was very clean and pleasant. Dr. Tannaz Toloubeydokhti was very knowledgeable and helpful.

After two failed IUIs at another clinic, we saw Dr. Vermesh. We immediately felt at ease with him and appreciated that he told us he was in control so we could relax a little. He was realistic about outcomes, and the financial team was transparent about all costs. One thing we liked most was that he and usually the same nurse performed every ultrasound, so he truly knew me and my case, and the care felt personalized. The other clinic felt like a fertility factory, with a different team each time I visited. He also tries all available treatments and protocols to achieve a successful outcome. Hello, I would like to share my wonderful experience with the best team God placed in our path at the Center for Fertility and Gynecology on our journey to motherhood. We first met them in 2015 and welcomed a healthy baby in 2016. We returned in 2023 and transferred 3 day-3 embryos. Only 1 implanted, and we were blessed with another girl. We are incredibly fortunate and endlessly grateful to Dr. Vermesh, Zenia, and Connie.

First, I want to thank Dr. Tolou and her team for their exceptional support throughout my journey. From scheduling and medications to travel arrangements, they were wonderful. Despite the challenges, their help made the journey go smoothly. They have become like family and hold a special place in my heart. From the first consultation, I knew I was in the right place. I highly recommend the Center for Fertility and Gynecology. My appointments required 4-5 hours, and their flexibility and understanding made everything possible.
