Longduhua International Fertility Center in Cambodia has established an advanced Asian platform for cytogenetic and molecular genetic diagnosis, including preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and preimplantation genetic screening using NGS. PGD can diagnose diseases caused by single-gene defects, such as thalassemia, and the center has developed PGD testing for nearly 125 single-gene disorders. NGS can comprehensively assess the structure and number of all 23 chromosome pairs and compare results to identify abnormalities in embryonic genetic material.

To strengthen its technical capabilities, the center has invested in a German IVF workstation, a Japanese microinjection system, a Swiss laser-assisted hatching system, Japanese carbon dioxide incubators, US tri-gas incubators, laminar-flow workbenches, Nikon inverted microscopes, Olympus stereo microscopes, biological microscopes, a US illumina next-generation sequencer, a semen analyzer, and other equipment. These systems provide a strong foundation for infertility diagnosis and treatment and human assisted reproductive technology.

Staff in the center's embryology laboratory have experience working in high-end US laboratories and use internationally advanced third-generation IVF technology with precision.

Using current international assisted reproductive technology, the center has established leading Asian platforms for assisted reproduction and cytogenetic and molecular genetic diagnosis. It uses current next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology to improve IVF success rates.
