PathLab Medical Laboratories (PathLab) was established in Hong Kong in 1975 and provides clinical diagnostic laboratory testing services to doctors, hospitals, insurance companies, and other healthcare organizations. Since 2006, PathLab has been accredited under the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme, HOKLAS ISO 15189, with a wide range of accredited tests across multiple laboratory disciplines. 

PathLab offers a comprehensive range of tests and sends referred testing to the United States, the United Kingdom, and other regions worldwide. Established procedures, advanced equipment, and experienced professionals enable it to provide reliable and timely services to physicians and patients. 

PathLab's headquarters is in Fortress Hill, Hong Kong, with four branches in Central, Causeway Bay, Mong Kok, and Tsim Sha Tsui. All branches provide venous blood collection, resting electrocardiograms, and courier services.

Laboratory accreditation is awarded following rigorous inspections by HOKLAS-accredited pathologists and scientists from Hong Kong and overseas. HOKLAS medical testing standards are based on ISO 15189:2012 and cover policies, procedures, records, internal quality controls, and external quality assurance programs (EQAP).

ISO 15189 is a globally recognized accreditation standard for medical laboratories and has been adopted by many countries. HOKLAS has mutual recognition agreements/arrangements (MRA) with nearly 100 laboratory accreditation bodies.

Through medical testing accreditation, PathLab seeks to maintain high laboratory standards and provide physicians and patients with reliable, accurate diagnostic information. It has served doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories for more than 40 years.
