Wang Jiawei Reproductive Medicine Center in Taiwan is led by infertility specialist and director Wang Jiawei, who has 30 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. His academic background includes National Taiwan University, a visiting scholarship at New York University, a medical doctorate, and extensive laboratory research. He specializes in patient-friendly protocols, including mild stimulation, double stimulation, and natural-cycle stimulation. The best decision I made 6 years ago was to freeze my eggs. When I discovered that my AMH was below the normal range, I did extensive research and searched online for information. I ultimately decided to freeze my eggs at the Wang Jiawei Reproductive Medicine Center. After getting married 2 years ago, I did not conceive naturally, so my husband and I discussed it and decided to pursue IVF. Dr. Wang was very patient and attentive throughout the process. Although the first embryo transfer was unsuccessful, Dr. Wang did not rush into another transfer. Instead, he arranged a hysteroscopy, monitored my condition at each visit after my period began, and waited for the right time to perform the transfer. I still remember returning for a blood test 2 weeks after the second transfer to find out whether I was pregnant. When we entered the consultation room, Dr. Wang held my blood test report and said in a firm yet gentle voice, “Congratulations, you are pregnant.” My eyes filled with tears as I expressed my immense gratitude to him. Until 10 weeks of pregnancy, I had my ultrasound examinations with Dr. Wang. My heartfelt thanks go to every doctor, nurse, embryologist, and Dr. Wang Jiawei at the Wang Jiawei Reproductive Medicine Center for their expert judgment and care. My baby was born this month. From 2024 9 to 2026 6, I have finally officially graduated from the clinic! The journey was incredibly difficult, from a failed implantation, which is very common, to becoming pregnant but discovering at 20 weeks that the baby was unwell and having to undergo induced labor, and then using our last embryo and being able only to pray for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. I am so grateful to Dr. Wang's team for helping me dry my tears and become a happy older mother. Thank you all ❤️ Baby Xiaokui 🌻 was finally born yesterday! However, Dr. Wang is harder to see than a celebrity because she is so popular! Mothers who need her care should be patient. Follow the doctor's instructions, relax, and good news will come! Keep going 👏! By the way, Dr. Hsieh handled my follow-up care after implantation and was also very reassuring 😌 You can choose the doctor who best fits your schedule!

I transferred here from another clinic. Because of my advanced maternal age, none of my embryos at the previous clinic could undergo PGS. Feeling discouraged, I sought help from Director Wang and the team. The laboratory here is truly excellent. After three egg retrievals, I finally obtained my only chromosomally normal embryo. Thank you to Director Wang, the technical director, Deputy Directors Hsieh and Lu for examining me at each visit, and the nurses who patiently taught me how to inject medication and encouraged me. The journey brought both tears and hope. Throughout my experience at Wang Jiawei, the director always calmed my anxiety and uncertainty. I took only the necessary medication and injections and completed this long process steadily and with peace of mind. But you should also do your own research! I highly recommend them to women who, like me, have faced setbacks on the path to parenthood or need a steady, trusted expert to provide the strongest support.

This treatment left us deeply disappointed and helpless. During our initial consultation, the doctor clearly told us we qualified for the “3.0 subsidy plan.” Although it allowed transfer of only one fertilized egg, the subsidy amount was higher, so we planned our subsequent treatment and finances based on that information. However, only after treatment ended and the transfer failed did we discover that the hospital had actually applied for the “2.0 plan” on our behalf. Under the 2.0 plan, two fertilized eggs could theoretically have been transferred, yet the hospital still transferred only one, costing us an opportunity to potentially improve the chance of success. Even more difficult to accept was that after the first failure, the doctor personally said, “We actually do not recommend transferring only one because the success rate is lower.” This shows the hospital already knew that a single transfer had a comparatively lower success rate. If the information and plan had been explained clearly and correctly from the beginning, we would have carefully considered transferring two instead of learning the truth only after failure. IVF involves not only financial expense but also time, physical strain, and emotional and psychological stress. Every treatment requires lengthy preparation and waiting. For patients, it cannot be dismissed with, “We can transfer two next time.” The hospital has now offered to transfer two fertilized eggs during our next treatment as compensation, but this cannot make up for the loss and stress caused by incorrect information and poor planning during this cycle. We hope the hospital will seriously address the following: Why did the plan actually submitted differ from the one originally explained? Why, despite knowing the success rate was lower with a single transfer, were we not given complete options and risk information? Why did we learn only after failure that two could have been transferred? I hope others can avoid this situation.....

Looking at the ultrasound image in my hand, my own phoenix flower has bloomed 🥰. Today I graduated from Dr. Wang Chia-Wei’s clinic. Graduation is not the end, but the beginning of becoming a mother. My health checks had always been excellent and my lifestyle regular, so I expected to conceive naturally. After two years without success, I saw last year that my AMH had fallen into the 1 range and realized I was running out of time. I decisively began IVF. After researching and comparing several fertility centers, we chose the understated but highly regarded Dr. Wang Chia-Wei Clinic. Looking back, we are very happy we made the right choice! Dr. Wang’s expertise and patience made us feel secure. He gently and thoroughly answered every question and eased our anxiety. I began treatment late last year and had a positive pregnancy test in February. The clinic’s reputedly excellent laboratory proved itself in my fertilization results: 9 eggs retrieved and 8 fertilized. I even asked AI whether the result came from good eggs and sperm or a strong laboratory. The answer was that both had to be excellent. Expertise reassures, and warmth comforts. Every staff member’s friendly manner, gentle tone, and professional, efficient help impressed me. This graduation is joyful but also bittersweet. Thank you to Dr. Wang and the entire team for helping my phoenix flower bloom in April. I now carry a tiny life as I begin a new journey. This is my second graduation from Dr. Wang’s clinic, and words cannot express my gratitude. I was fortunate to succeed with one IVF cycle for my first child, but trying for a second at an older age brought setbacks beyond anything I imagined. Over more than a year, I faced countless disappointments and even switched clinics for a change of luck before returning. Dr. Wang has always been calm. He never offered excessive or false hope, but he also never gave up on me because of my age. When repeated PGS reports were poor and I was nearly ready to stop, I entered the consultation assuming another failure. Dr. Wang looked up and said gently but firmly, “We can try this one.” Those words were a lifeline when I felt I was drowning. During transfer, Dr. Wang smiled and said this embryo was very active. He continued to give me confidence at follow-up visits, and because he never exaggerates, his encouragement carried special weight. I have now graduated at 10 weeks. I am grateful that I did not give up and thankful for every positive nurse at the clinic. Dr. Hsieh and Dr. Lu were also meticulous and reassuring when explaining my ultrasounds during an anxious early pregnancy. It felt as though every doctor in the clinic supported us. This is more than a clinic; it is a place that helped me persevere. Little one, grow well, and after you are born we will visit Dr. Wang together!

I began IVF in 2024 with Dr. Lu Po-Chia. My journey was not the hardest, but it took 1–2 years of effort. Dr. Lu carefully analyzed the best options and gave us great encouragement. I had only two chances. The first failed, but the second succeeded, although I needed one month of pregnancy support and graduated later than usual. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Lu for helping me have my lovely baby. The nurses were also kind at every follow-up. Thank you all for your gentleness and encouragement throughout this journey. Dr. Hsieh's manner was acceptable, but the assistant named Betty or Bella was extremely unprofessional and lacked basic ethics. After cleaning up after the previous patient, she handled a condom with her bare hand and placed it on the examination probe for my internal exam. The hygiene was deeply concerning. As expected, I later developed clear discomfort, odor, and discharge. I ask the clinic to address this seriously and provide an explanation!!! Despite the high fees, my menstrual irregularity remains unresolved, and professional negligence caused an additional burden while disregarding patient hygiene and health. Absolutely appalling!!!

Because my husband has azoospermia, Dr. Wang coordinated with Taipei Veterans General Hospital so his sperm retrieval and my egg retrieval could be done the same day. After trying to conceive naturally for a year without success, my husband and I decided to visit a fertility hospital for testing. The first place we visited was the most expensive clinic in Taipei. Its assembly-line approach and the doctor's cold response to my poor physical condition left us devastated. After pausing for nearly 3 months, we found Dr. Wang Chia-Wei's clinic online. A friend had also seen Director Wang and had since delivered twins, which gave us more confidence to make an appointment. After our first consultation, my husband said, "Let's choose this place." The clearest difference from the previous clinic was that the patients waiting outside were smiling. Director Wang's gentle manner during consultations and the clinic's special encouraging notes were why we chose it. This is the healthcare facility with the best attitude I have encountered. Of course, not every visit will meet expectations. Sometimes, because there are so many patients, the doctors or staff may not respond as expected, but do not take it too personally. When a genuine problem is raised, the clinic staff communicate proactively and resolve it. I also had an issue with a subsidy, and it was resolved well. After reading many people's experiences at fertility clinics, I was amazed by Director Wang's skill. For example, other clinics require a full bladder or repeated ultrasound checks to confirm placement during transfer, but Director Wang finishes in under 5 minutes. Medications and examinations are also kept to the minimum needed for the best results. I understand that when you are anxious and preparing for treatment, you want to do more to confirm things or break through the current situation. In fact, there is no need to overthink it—trust the doctor and keep moving forward👍 This path is certainly a long journey, especially with advanced age, adenomyosis, and low AMH. I went through multiple retrievals and transfers, the joy of pregnancy followed by miscarriage when the gestational sac had no heartbeat, and surgery at a hospital to remove numerous fibroids. Two years later, we finally heard our baby's heartbeat at the clinic. We had hoped for a Dragon-year baby, but we are now preparing to welcome our Horse-year baby next year. Wishing everyone success😊

Friendly nurses greet you as soon as you enter, and blue nonwoven shoe covers are available at the entrance, which makes the clinic feel clean and reassuring. After three egg retrievals and four transfers, I finally held my healthy Virgo baby in 2025 🥰 The strongest memory from treatment was the typhoon season in the second half of 2024. I repeatedly traveled past fallen trees on Keelung Road and Xinyi Road through powerful wind and rain, either for retrieval or transfer. I am grateful that the W team often saw patients until midnight—I once left at 11 p.m.—and continued working through typhoons and holidays. Each day felt endless. Because advanced age meant fewer eggs, every transfer was a gamble. I feared losing the courage to continue and was afraid to hope despite caring deeply. During long waits at the clinic, I wondered whether I still had the chance and ability to find happiness. Dr. Wang told me, "The chance of success is still very high," and together we waited for that healthy egg. Thank you to the professional W team for helping me conceive within six months. Every day when I watch my baby wake up, I am deeply grateful to Dr. Wang Chia-Wei and the professional team for helping me have a healthy, lovely child. If your time is valuable, think twice. The wait is at least 1.5–2 hours at every visit, and waits of over 3 hours are not uncommon. This is no exaggeration. Director Wang is highly skilled, but the entire consultation process urgently needs improvement. The staff ask you to arrive early, but if you arrive early, you wait; if you arrive on time, you wait; and if your number has passed, you still wait. No matter what, you spend a great deal of time waiting. Basically, whenever you have an appointment, you should not plan anything else for the entire morning, afternoon, or evening.

She was very professional, and I felt no pain without any pain medication. Dr. Wang patiently explained the medical information and issues. The egg retrieval went very well and was painless. After two failed implantations at Chang Gung, a friend referred me to Dr. Wang Chia-Wei. He seemed reserved at our first visit but encouraged me to try transferring my last vial of embryos. His confidence inspired me to try once more! To my surprise, the lowest-grade embryo that I had nearly abandoned grew successfully, and I graduated from the clinic. From the environment and examinations to the overall experience, this clinic made me feel completely safe. He always said everything looked good and not to worry, which was very reassuring. However, because so many patients seek him out and he personally performs egg retrievals and transfers, wait times can be unpredictable 😅 Deputy Director Hsieh also examined me and was extremely thorough. He was a reassuring doctor who accompanied me throughout treatment. I later saw him for consultations as well, and like Director Wang, his approach was highly professional and reassuring. I underwent egg donation. Nurse Yi-Hua provided excellent service, and the doctor was very humorous. Although I have polycystic ovaries, neither treatment nor surgery was uncomfortable. The medical team on the day of surgery was professional and thoughtful. I experienced only slight bloating during the process, like the feeling before a period. The doctor thoughtfully used a long-acting injection to reduce the number of shots I needed. Nothing was as frightening as I imagined. I would choose this team for egg freezing in the future!!! I wish the recipient a safe delivery and that all her hopes come true.

Because of my history of miscarriage, I came here to see an immunology specialist on a friend's recommendation. Many expectant mothers come here from Taiwan and abroad because of the clinic's reputation. Despite the busy atmosphere, I especially appreciate Dr. Yang's consistently precise answers. Dr. Yang also has the amusing style of a PTT user XDD. Special thanks also go to the nurses!! They are often so busy that they cannot even eat lunch, yet they still answer expectant mothers' questions very patiently~~~ My baby is now safely past four months, with Dr. Yang's treatment continuing to support the pregnancy~~~ Fertility is an extremely important matter, and medical expenses can burden many families. Once you spend the money, you naturally hope the treatment is effective and the process feels worthwhile XD. Thank you to Dr. Lu at the clinic for patiently guiding us through the entire IVF process. Today my wife is 12 weeks pregnant, and the NIPT report shows that the baby is healthy. We can finally put our worries aside. We would also like to thank every clinician at the clinic for making sure we clearly understood what we could and should do at each step. We especially recommend Dr. Lu. Because my wife is gentle and indecisive, we specifically chose a female physician. Throughout the process, Dr. Lu patiently explained everything and offered appropriate advice. Initially, because my wife's health assessment did not meet the optimal criteria, we prepared for IUI. I began my first IVF cycle in Australia, but it unfortunately overlapped with my vacation in Taipei. I found this clinic on Google Maps, saw that its website had some English information and strong reviews, and requested bloodwork. The efficient staff replied to my email that day and arranged an appointment. The overall experience was excellent: staff were friendly, spoke fluent English, and explained everything in detail. In years 104 and 105 of the Republic calendar, I saw Dr. Wang at Taipei Medical University and underwent artificial insemination. After the first attempt failed, the second resulted in our eldest from four eggs, and the third resulted in twins from 2.5 eggs because the third was not large enough. I was 37 and was blessed with three sons, although I cried out when tests showed they were all boys. Unfortunately, the older twin experienced oxygen deprivation from shoulder dystocia during the cesarean delivery. For the first eight months, because of hypertonia and a 50% chance of cerebral palsy, I cried daily and prayed until cerebral palsy was ruled out at his eight-month well-child visit. We continued monitoring for developmental delay. At 18 months, he underwent a multidisciplinary assessment, began early intervention at age two, and received annual assessments. In kindergarten, he was assessed and placed in mainstream education. His grades are in the bottom third of his class. Now in second grade, he takes low-dose medication prescribed by psychiatry for attention issues (Ritalin and Concerta) and is a caring extrovert. Our eldest and youngest both rank among the top three in their classes; the eldest is now in an elementary gifted program for general intelligence, and the youngest has also passed the first stage. I revisited the past after recommending Dr. Wang to friends and family and wanted to share. Parenting has its joys and hardships, but the love of family is irreplaceable! For those who marry and have children later, as I did, I highly recommend Dr. Wang. With AMH values of 1.37/1.13, he used the same experienced dosing, avoided overstimulating too many eggs, protected my health, and gave me the opportunity to welcome new life. I am truly grateful 🙏 and wish more women success soon 🏆

Thank you to Director Wang and the medical team for accompanying me. I felt cared for and supported throughout egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and the following 11 weeks of care. My veins are small and difficult to draw from, but every one of the countless blood draws succeeded on the first attempt. It was incredibly professional and moving, especially since a different nurse drew my blood each time—amazing 👍 At every stage, from front-desk reception, blood draws and education by the nurses, the ultrasound physician and appointments with Director Wang to surgery, every professional staff member's calm and reassuring manner made me feel confident and trusting.

Dr. Wang truly puts patients first in everything he does. He is highly skilled and precise with medication, does not waste expectant mothers' hard-earned money, and achieves the best egg-retrieval and implantation outcomes. Because I had cancer, we could only use frozen sperm. After repeated failed IVF attempts in Hualien, a friend introduced us to Wang Jia-Wei Clinic. The nurses, counselors, and doctors here were very patient and explained everything thoroughly. If an unexpected issue arose, we could consult them through LINE, which gave both the expectant mother and her husband peace of mind. This is my experience after two failed attempts. Because of my advanced age, I chose the highly rated and expensive Wang Chia-Wei Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. I will not recount the entire process. At the initial consultation, the nurses clearly said they could help administer injections if I lacked experience and was afraid to do them myself. Yet after waiting in line for an extremely long time each time, a receptionist impatiently replied, 'We have already been very kind by giving you the injections.' Is this the clinic's standard of service? Did we not pay? If they were unwilling to help with injections, they should not have promised to do so. This was an unpleasant part of the process. More importantly, after the embryo transfer and payment, they seemed to consider their work finished. Unlike other clinics, they did not request follow-up visits or actively monitor me. Their approach was far too passive, and we were left on our own. When the treatment ultimately failed, the doctor only cited my advanced age. Does that mean older patients are not suited to this clinic? And our hard-earned money was gone. There are many success stories in the reviews, but those whose treatment failed may simply lack the courage to speak out.

Today I graduated 🎓... from the fertility center. I am so happy 😁 The doctor was gentle and kind, and the nurses were all very patient. I will miss everyone so much. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for nearly 10 years. This time, we finally have our baby. I am truly grateful 🥹 Every follow-up visit still made us nervous. Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time brought joy. Hearing it for the second time was deeply moving 😭 (We had a bad experience before.) When the doctor finally said, 'Congratulations, you have graduated from here,' I was overwhelmed with emotion. But I know it is not over yet, and there is still a long way to go. I believe we can make it. Thank you, Dr. Yang Tsung-Han. I stopped medication for a while and felt a little embarrassed when I returned to see him. After discussing the options with him at my follow-up visit and receiving his recommendation, we decided to transfer to Wang Chia-Wei Fertility Center. Because I have an immune-related condition, I needed some preparation before treatment 😜 The medication's side effects were significant 😖... It has been hard on this mother.

Today I officially graduated from Dr. Wang's care 😊. This was my second IVF cycle. I am 37, remarried, and have PCOS. One retrieval and 2 transfers at another hospital had failed. Because my husband's condition required surgical sperm retrieval, Professor Huang at Taipei Veterans General Hospital handled that procedure, while I began my second IVF cycle with Dr. Wang. With PCOS, I knew my egg count would not be low. The first hospital retrieved 21 eggs, producing 6 day-5 embryos, but all transfers failed, perhaps partly because of my own health. After beginning this treatment, I changed my routine and exercised. The second retrieval was excellent: 46 eggs yielded 19 day-5 embryos. Five underwent biopsy, and 3 passed. Fortunately, the first transfer implanted. During my first retrieval of 21 eggs, I spent an entire week in bed and went to the emergency department twice because ovarian hyperstimulation caused ascites. That week was worse than the injections and medication, and I could not sleep lying down. When Dr. Wang predicted retrieving 30-40 eggs this time, I was terrified it would happen again. His technique honestly amazed me: after retrieval I had no discomfort or abdominal swelling or pain and could live normally. I recovered after 3 days despite having 46 eggs retrieved 🤣. The laboratory's technique was also excellent, with success rates above half from fertilization through embryo culture. At my first follow-up after retrieval, Dr. Wang said, ‘You will definitely become pregnant,’ which gave me complete confidence despite traveling from Miaoli to Taipei each time 😂. The hysteroscopy before transfer was also completely painless. Dr. Wang performed the transfer without requiring a full bladder or ultrasound, which takes remarkable skill. I had expected a year-long struggle, but the first attempt succeeded 😏. I am delighted, and the whole team made me comfortable. Thank you to everyone at the clinic for helping me become pregnant at 37. After transferring to TFC for IVF, I am now 12 weeks pregnant. We initially sought treatment at Wang Chia-Wei Clinic and began in February. A polyp was found but initially judged not to affect treatment. After ovulation medication and injections, it grew by late March, and Dr. Wang said it would affect implantation. We followed his advice and underwent further examination on 4/2. Because there were multiple polyps, we were advised to schedule removal with Dr. Huang at Dianthus Xinsheng. On 4/26, I underwent polyp surgery at Dianthus Xinsheng. After waking from anesthesia, I was told that fibroids also needed treatment, although fibroids had never been mentioned during treatment. This piecemeal series of diagnoses made us worry that expertise and precious time were being wasted. At our first consultation, we clearly explained our ages and concerns about both parents' health and age, and we actively cooperated to make the most of our time. On 5/15, we sought help from Taipei TFC, where we were told the fibroids had no effect. This saved 3-6 months of surgery and recovery, and pregnancy was confirmed on 7/12. Regarding the fibroids, a nurse at MacKay Memorial Hospital Zhongshan immediately found them during the first prenatal ultrasound. Based on our experience, we actively recommend TFC to friends for its facilities, technology, and service. At the previous clinic, the cashier had a terrible attitude, visits were exhausting, and we had to tolerate poor treatment. Time and money are precious to every couple seeking care. TFC made us feel that patient-centered care had returned to its original purpose.

It took nearly 10 months from egg retrieval to a successful transfer. Women trying to conceive truly go through a lot. The first and second attempts failed, but the third succeeded, and I graduated last week. Director Wang does not say much, but I trust his professional judgment. The nurses are attentive and know their patients' information, and the environment is warm. Dr. Wang has many patients, but he is worth the wait for women trying to conceive.

Thank you to the nursing staff for their hard work. I recommend coming for a consultation for the following reasons: 1. They remember clients' or patients' names and appointment times. They are knowledgeable and patient, making you feel their sincerity and patience. 2. The director proactively explains areas you may be uncertain about rather than waiting for you to ask. 3. The nursing staff are also very attentive and patient. Blood draws do not leave bruises, which may sound normal, but some nurses truly cannot manage it QQ. They patiently answer medical and nursing questions. 4. Handoffs between staff are seamless. You will not explain a problem to staff member A only to find that staff member B knows nothing about your situation. Update The baby was born safely. Thank you, Dr. Wang and team. I am currently five months pregnant! Trying to conceive was difficult before. I was hopeful but afraid of being hurt. After the first loss, I broke down crying at the clinic and felt so embarrassed. The second attempt failed, and I nearly gave up. Fortunately, I persisted, and the third transfer succeeded. Thank you, Dr. Wang, Dr. Hsieh, and the caring, professional nursing team. I now hope the baby continues to grow healthily. When friends struggle with infertility, I recommend only Dr. Wang Chia-wei.
