Everything was wonderful, and I was never bored. I stayed there for three nights caring for a patient. The hospital was clean, the service was good, and all the staff were friendly and spoke kindly. Dr. Kreek was also very good. I recommend this hospital.

Everything was extremely slow, including getting documents. The nurses did not understand what I was saying, so it took a long time to receive the medical certificate. Be sure to check your medical receipt carefully. They added tests I never had, and I almost overpaid by 3,000 baht. It was terrible.

I visited in late December with severe lower abdominal pain. After various tests, kidney stones and an inguinal hernia were found. I then received the necessary treatment and surgery from January through March. I have now recovered without complications and can live comfortably without pain. I sincerely thank the doctors, nurses, and staff who cared for me. I was especially impressed by the Japanese interpreter. The woman with light brown hair who assisted me on the final day interpreted even the smallest details carefully and communicated my requests accurately to the doctor. I sincerely thank her as well.

I gave birth at Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital and am sincerely grateful for the attentive care I received. Dr. Patama and the nurses were very patient, considerate, and helpful throughout the entire process. Childbirth can feel overwhelming and frightening, but the medical team made me feel safe and reassured and listened carefully to my needs at every step. They explained everything clearly, never rushed me, and showed genuine kindness and empathy. Thank you for caring for me so thoughtfully during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. I will always remember this experience with gratitude.

After emergency operation and 2 nights ' stay in ICU my wife was transferred to ward4A Room 1408 which was a single room and I could accompany her day and night! All the nurses and service team are professional, responsive, helpful and always with a simile on their face and comforted my wife from time to time! They really helped us from the bottom of their hearts that facilitated her speedy recovery! More over the food supplied were yummy and with wide variety like Thai/Japanese/Western food in which she can find her comfort food.

The best hospital experience ever! I had to rush to the hospital ophthalmology department with eye pain without an appointment. They efficiently arranged the care I needed. I saw a doctor fairly quickly, and she found a small rusted metal splinter lodged in my cornea. She skillfully numbed my eye and removed the metal without causing any additional pain, a remarkable achievement given the difficulty of the situation. I am Canadian, and we have a world-class healthcare system, but the quality here still makes me envious. The hospital is like a 5-star hotel. Their complimentary coffee machine brewed some of the best mocha I have ever had. They provide free B-vitamin powder to drink. Everything is exceptionally clean, with no "hospital disinfectant smell." They are accustomed to foreign patients and required only my passport and insurance printout, with no additional forms. I was in and out in 1.5 hours, and the entire visit cost only $178 CAD, including medication, which is remarkable.

As an American visiting Thailand on vacation, I can easily say there is no comparison between this hospital and hospitals back home. It is not uncommon to wait all day in a U.S. hospital for simple emergency care. I had an unfortunate accident while vacationing in Bangkok and had to visit Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital. As we pulled into the ER drop-off area, an attendant rushed to our car with a wheelchair. I was taken directly to a triage bay, seen by a doctor, and underwent several procedures immediately. I was meticulously cleaned and cared for during my stay. I was at the hospital for no more than 90 minutes. There was no language barrier. One doctor I spoke with had trained in Boston, Massachusetts, my home state. The hospital is beautiful inside and out. If you are vacationing nearby and need care, you cannot go wrong with this wonderful place.

Ward 4A I had my first cesarean delivery at Samitivej Hospital and was deeply impressed. The hospital took excellent care of both mother and baby. All the doctors were experienced and trustworthy. My father had an intestinal infection and severe diarrhea. He was treated by Dr. Nattawut in gastroenterology. He was very caring and kind. I greatly appreciate the outpatient assistant Khun O (Khun Saowaros Roopsong-nga). She is kind, lovely, always smiling, and consistently helpful and proactive in coordinating care. She even sent me photos documenting the diarrhea almost every day. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻❤️

Overall, this is a great hospital, but recently I have noticed that some doctors—not all—overprescribe medication. Often, you do not realize it until after you have paid for and collected the medication. This is not good.

I suddenly became ill while traveling and used this hospital. A friend called the Japanese-language desk in advance, and when I arrived, I was seen in the emergency department. A Japanese interpreter was provided, and the doctor was very thorough. I was admitted 2 days later because my condition had not improved much. Everyone was very kind, and although communication with the doctor was through an interpreter, the doctor looked me in the eye and spoke carefully, which reassured me. However, treatment costs can be extremely high, so travelers should be sure to obtain insurance before traveling. The room was very spacious and even more comfortable than a hotel.

This is my favorite hospital in the world! The entire visit was smooth and pleasant. The doctors were warm and patient, and staff escorted you between rooms. The hospital was spotless and beautifully decorated, so it barely felt like a hospital. However, it is not the most affordable by Thai standards. Some procedures and medicines are extremely expensive compared with other hospitals, including private ones. I was quoted about 30,000 baht for a minor procedure and declined; another hospital charged only 4,500 baht for equally good service. Ask for a quote before any test or procedure. If you want a premium hospital with reliable professionals and are not price-sensitive, I highly recommend it.

The nurses were all kind and friendly. Even late at night, when everyone was tired and there were many patients, each person cared for us patiently and attentively. As someone who has received annual health checkups at Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital for 6 years, I would like to praise the counter staff, doctors, nurses, and even the parking attendants for their excellent service, complete information, polite communication, and attentive care. I wish this high standard of service also extended to back-office staff. I politely followed up with a woman in the receipt department about the scheduled date for sending payment documents and receiving the hospital receipt, but her communication was inappropriate, emotional, and unprofessional. This left me disappointed and questioning the hospital's hiring standards. I hope Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital sees this review and improves its standards across every department.

I cannot praise the service and all the nurses in Ward 4J enough. My boyfriend stayed in this ward for three days, and all the nurses and housekeeping staff were very kind and attentive to our needs. The care here is highly efficient and effective. I requested an appointment with a specialist the day before. The hospital itself is easy to navigate, with signs in English. I saw my doctor almost immediately after checking in and did not have to wait long at all. The doctor assessed me and then directed me to collect my prescription. The queue and pharmacy were very fast, and my order was filled within minutes. I highly recommend this hospital and would return.

I saw a urologist, which cost 2,000 baht, and paid 5,000 baht for an ultrasound, but it was performed incorrectly and I was not given the results. It took me half a day to find out which email address to contact to obtain them, and I still do not have them. I have to leave.

The worst hospital management company ever! I have completed their message center questionnaire twice, and the system still has not retrieved my message! Now I am just waiting for the Microsoft blue screen to appear!

I used the services of Ward 4A as a postpartum mother and was deeply impressed. All the nurses provided attentive care and guidance. Special thanks to nurse Eng-ae for giving new mothers comprehensive breastfeeding instruction. She helped care for me and offered advice and techniques for increasing milk production and helping the baby remain latched longer. I am very grateful 💗

The doctors, nurses, and staff in every department take excellent care of you and offer very helpful advice. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, which impressed me. I often stayed in Ward 5 of the Japanese Building and waited on the 3rd floor of the same building. All the staff were lovely 😊

The doctors and nurses in Ward 5R were outstanding. They were very kind, friendly, and professional, and always happy to help when I needed it. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. We stayed in the hospital for 2 days.

I and my family are the loyal patients of Samitivej hospital but, I had a visited today and day, unlike before the staff behaved very rude, and they sent me to different departments. I asked them to see a general doctor they just keep pass me to different departments. And again they asked me to go to upstairs to see a special doctor while in that department they told me to make another appointment and they said the que is long and i have to wait at least 1 hour. Anyway i hope someone from Samitivej hospital see my comment and fix this issue.

A very disappointing experience. The nurses at the 'Women's Health Center' were very rude and unprofessional. They seemed to have no time to talk or offer any help, and left me waiting for a long time without any explanation or update.

I am deeply touched by everyone's goodwill. It was an endoscopy and minor surgery, with nothing to worry about. On this occasion, I must sincerely thank radiologist Salakchit Chuchotirot, Salakchit Prom, who cared for me from top to bottom and promptly addressed the red result. My deepest thanks to the beautiful Dr. Da, Professor Tida Khomsiri, who performed my annual checkup, said this time was urgent, and recommended Professor Santi Pongphantarak, an endoscopy specialist with such a gentle hand that I felt no pain. I must also sincerely thank Professor May, anesthesiologist Punyacha Satchamahithinan, Punyacha Bhatia, who gave me light sedation. I fell asleep before the anesthetic and next woke when Nong Fon roused me to assess my consciousness, though I was still drowsy and went back to sleep in the room. The doctor had an excellent manner, and the hospital staff provided very good service. The nurses on the fourth floor of the Japanese building were attentive and answered everyone's questions. The doctor was kind and calm and spoke very pleasantly, making it feel like we were in our own country.

I recently received treatment at Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital for the first time. The doctor, Dr. Wasinee Siriwongpairat, provided excellent care. She is experienced and dedicated to identifying and treating the cause. During treatment, nurses assisted me in the ward waiting area on the 3rd floor of the main building. In our chosen room in Ward 5J of the new building, the nurses and housekeepers were all lovely. Excellent care, a clean room, and very impressive service :)
