This place is amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone struggling with fertility issues. Dr. Bohrer is one of the best doctors I have ever met, and Adriana was wonderful and always there when I had questions/concerns. My husband and I now have a beautiful baby boy.

I highly recommend this clinic. Everything was communicated clearly and explained thoroughly throughout the process. My nurse was always willing to listen to my concerns and answer any questions. I fully understood every step of the journey, which fortunately was brief for me.

I cannot thank the incredible RMA team enough. Thanks to their attentive care and support, I am now 8 weeks pregnant and everything is going well. They have been there for me from the start. I had three episodes of bleeding, and each time they scheduled me immediately. Their quick response and compassionate care meant the world to me during such stressful moments. Every doctor, nurse, and staff member I encountered was professional, kind, and genuinely invested in my journey. RMA provided not only first-rate medical care, but also emotional support that made all the difference. I always felt heard, valued, and exceptionally well cared for. They even gave me a thoughtful gift for my baby, which truly touched me. These small but meaningful gestures show how much they care about their patients. If you are looking for a fertility clinic that truly cares, I highly recommend RMA. They are simply the best!

I tried to reschedule a Monday appointment on the previous Thursday. The staff cited a 72-business-hour cancellation policy and said I needed a credit card on file to be charged if I rescheduled. They were trying to establish care and collect fees before I had even entered the building. This policy is not clearly stated anywhere on their website, and I received no email/text about it when I made the initial appointment.

I came here for outside monitoring as a surrogate. They are always extremely fast and professional—the quickest medical care I have received anywhere, with almost no wait—and the office is quiet with friendly staff.

RMA operates like a well-oiled machine with a very high patient volume. As a result, they do not provide personalized treatment and instead take a one-size-fits-all approach. After two failed transfers, I decided to switch to CCRM. At CCRM, I quickly became pregnant because the doctor listened carefully and created a personalized treatment plan that improved my chances of implantation. Last year, my healthy, beautiful daughter was born, and I am so glad I switched clinics. If you are a patient who can conceive easily through IVF, I recommend RMA. I had issues including fibroids and spent months undergoing various procedures and medication treatments without any success until I left RMA!
22/06/2025
My wife and I underwent five IVF cycles at RMA, but unfortunately, the overall experience left us deeply disappointed. Although we understand that medical treatment can be challenging and complex, we found the care model more like a factory operation, lacking the personalized attention and support we expected. Throughout treatment, we rarely saw or spoke directly with a doctor, leaving us feeling disconnected and uncertain, especially during a journey with such high emotional and financial stakes.
27/05/2025
The experience and results were excellent. However, the low rating is because if you still have embryos stored for future use and later decide to discard them, they completely ghost you—except for the annual bill. Very disappointing.

Customer service means everything to me. I simply want to commend Rob in the financial department for going above and beyond and for the service he provided. Thank you again for all your help!

They did an excellent job helping me navigate complicated fertility care during the pandemic, and after a long wait, we finally welcomed a healthy, happy, intelligent, strong baby. They helped with my insurance and managed the extensive paperwork. My nurse was supportive, compassionate, knowledgeable, and efficient.
19/08/2025
This is the worst facility. It operates like a factory and does not care about anyone. They could not even perform the bloodwork correctly and made me return. No one knows what they are doing.

I can't say enough good stuff about this place. Everyone was fantastic that we dealt with. We were informed about everything and everything went as planned. The doc asked us if we wanted a girl and sure enough somehow some way we got a girl. We went there for our first child as well which is a 6-year-old healthy boy now. Our daughter is very healthy as well and she is now 2. I highly recommend this facility and we couldn't be happier. Thank you very much

Dr. Jain was very kind and attentive and listened patiently to our needs. She guided us compassionately through both difficult news and positive developments.

You make an appointment, but they do not honor it. Be prepared to wait more than an hour. A woman whose appointment was later than mine was called before me. I arrived on time, and when I asked why someone with a later appointment had been called first, they gave no answer. Today was also the last day of my treatment, and I learned from the person drawing my blood that I should not drink alcohol during treatment. Neither my nurse nor my doctor had mentioned this. They told me not to exercise but never mentioned not drinking alcohol.
13/09/2025
This clinic is extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. Be prepared to wait more than an hour past your appointment time. I am not exaggerating: this was the third time we waited 94 minutes after our scheduled appointment for an ultrasound. They are poorly staffed and managed. This clinic is simply awful. Find a fertility clinic that respects your time.

This review concerns RMA's organization as a whole. Their billing and response processes are chaotic. They have some of the best doctors and nurses, but unfortunately you have to deal with a poorly managed department. Communication is very poor, so good luck getting accurate information about actual costs. I submitted three forms and, after repeated follow-ups, they finally said seven months later that they had received them, yet decided to bill me. Even the excellent doctors are not worth it.

Stay away from this baby factory. It was the most dehumanizing experience anyone could have. They are cold and never acknowledge that medications can have side effects. After becoming pregnant, I became very ill, yet there was no accountability or help to make things easier. I was hospitalized several times with severe edema and nearly had a stroke. On top of that, I never received a storage bill; it was sent straight to collections without my knowledge. When I tried a second transfer, I attempted to arrange a payment plan, but the entire billing department was awful and said terrible things because their policy stated that I could not have a transfer until my $1200 storage fee was paid in full. I have never heard of a bill preventing you from using your own biological embryos. I disputed this several times, but billing actually prevented me from scheduling an appointment with the doctor to discuss it. Stay away. I switched to another clinic and had a much better experience. This place does not deserve even one star.

If negative stars were an option, she would get them. Extremely unprofessional and traumatic experience with Dr. Zhu I had a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) at RMA performed by Dr. Zhu, and it was one of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. She was extremely unprofessional, inconsiderate, and rough throughout the procedure. Dr. Zhu introduced herself while standing at my feet, where I could not even see her face, and never explained what the procedure involved or what to expect. That day, I felt like the next number on her list rather than a patient deserving care or compassion. To her, it felt like a factory. The experience left me deeply traumatized—I developed genuine PTSD from the pain and distress. To make matters worse, she was a tier-two provider, I was never given a choice beforehand, and now I face a huge bill for a procedure that left me physically and emotionally exhausted. I would never recommend Dr. Zhu. If you plan to have an HSG or any other procedure at RMA, be sure to ask for a tier-one provider and confirm who will perform it. No patient should be treated the way I was.

Terrible experience! I love the Marlton office, but this egg retrieval left me traumatized for life. I nearly died from such a quick procedure. I was hospitalized for 4 days and needed two blood transfusions to save my life. They caused severe bleeding from my ovary into my abdominal cavity. I am too afraid to have any more fertility procedures at this clinic and hope my local office can handle the rest, though my embryos may still need to be sent to Marlton. Not only is my IVF on hold, but I now need treatment to cope with what happened. The doctor who performed the procedure should at least have called me! Only my local office called, and they even visited me in the hospital. My surgeon in Basking Ridge was absolutely terrible!

This was a terrible experience for my wife. Five minutes before surgery, they said it could not proceed because she had nasal congestion. We wasted $200 on Uber rides, childcare, and time off work. No one had asked beforehand whether she had a cold or similar symptoms. During Christmas, this was painful and wasted valuable time. She already had an IV, was in a gown, and was lying on the operating table. I expected more from RMA. Extremely disappointing.

A recent conversation with a friend receiving care at another fertility clinic in another state made me appreciate RMA even more and prompted this review. The doctors, nurses, and staff here make me question every clinic I visited before. RMA Basking Ridge operates efficiently and, in my experience, knows how to care for patients. I have waited no more than 20–25 minutes for any appointment. Its app is also useful for managing care; despite occasional glitches, it makes viewing test results, signing documents, scheduling visits, and communicating with the care team very convenient. Everyone I met was kind, considerate, and welcoming. The doctors and nurses patiently answered every question, however unusual. Regardless of the ultimate outcome, I am very grateful to this clinic and its team.

I want to share my experience… RMA (Reproductive Medicine Associates) is amazing. My fertility nurse always patiently answered the many questions I submitted through the portal! I especially want to talk about my hysterosalpingogram (HSG). Dr. Jain performed my procedure. The exaggerated stories about this procedure were not accurate—at least not for me. The procedure itself took under five minutes and was painless, and I was in and out of the surgical center in under an hour. It was not scary at all! Take a few deep breaths during the procedure and remind yourself why you are doing it. There is little privacy in pregnancy, childbirth, or becoming pregnant through IVF. The nurses and doctors do their best to keep you comfortable, but sometimes you have to be brave! I also recommend asking your nurses plenty of questions and doing your own research. It is your body, and yes, you are paying for a highly personal and individualized service, but what I had read about HSG made the actual procedure feel very uneventful.

The coffee machine was broken. I told the front desk twice, and both times they said they would check it shortly, but did nothing. They just sat there waiting for me to leave. They could at least have pretended to be busy. I waited half an hour and could not even get a cup of water.

Dr. Bolig and her team are amazing! They are thoughtful, kind, caring, and happy to answer any questions that arise during treatment. Definitely see her!

We began treatment at RMA in 2018 with Dr. Rybak, who did not earn much but was the most dedicated doctor we had ever met. Later, because Dr. Rybak's schedule was too full, we made the terrible decision to transfer to Dr. Shefali M. Shastri. Someone recommended Dr. Shastri as the best, but that is complete nonsense—trust me, do not see her! Dr. Rybak is the better choice. He patiently explains every detail instead of brushing you off as we were. Even after my wife and I experienced three miscarriages, he continued having us try dietary changes, testing, and every other approach. We decided to try surrogacy, but once again Dr. Rybak's availability did not work for us. We wanted to move forward, so we ultimately chose Dr. Shastri. Dr. Shastri speaks extremely quickly, expects us to understand everything, and showed no compassion for our situation. After more than seven years of loyalty, thousands of dollars, and countless tests and investigations, she abandoned us and told us to go to another clinic. We were initially confident, but after the first surrogate failed for obvious reasons, my sister enthusiastically offered to be our surrogate. We had not wanted to involve family because we thought it would place too much emotional pressure on her, but she was excited. My sister is introverted, has hearing loss, and does not communicate well with people she does not know, but she is kindhearted, healthy, and still willing to carry a child for us. My sister passed her physical examination, but when a counselor, Jennifer Gamper, asked her questions, she may not have understood them and answered one incorrectly without an interpreter present. They therefore deemed her ineligible to be a surrogate due to concerns about coercion, capacity, or understanding. To me, this implied that she was being forced and was not intelligent enough to be a surrogate. Dr. Shastri simply told us to go elsewhere and abandon surrogacy. She offered no second opinion, did not arrange an interpreter, and did not even give us a chance to find another surrogate. What?! Because of my love for my family and a difficult day at work, I took this as a personal attack. Yes, I lost my temper with the doctor. I suppose she felt threatened by me as a Black man and used the term ‘Karen’ to describe me. I explained that my sister is capable, has a high school diploma, and attended community college for two years. With a sign-language interpreter, she could have explained why she answered that way and asked more questions. Dr. Shastri essentially told us to go elsewhere and would not even refer us to another doctor or offer other options. I called and sincerely apologized because that is not how I normally behave. Based on the translated message, however, she was apparently too afraid even to hear from me directly and would communicate only with my wife from then on. Today, she had her team come to the office as witnesses simply to schedule a time to tell us that she would no longer work with us and that no one at RMA would work with us. Essentially, RMA blacklisted us and told us to go elsewhere. They said they would send a letter making it official, but if so, why not simply send the letter? My wife argued that this was deeply unfair: there was no opportunity to accept her husband's apology, find a compromise, resolve the issue, or even give us a chance to have a child. I hope a manager will call me to explain this process and the supposed zero-tolerance policy, if one exists, because I am not the only patient or client who might become emotional after a bad outcome. Dr. Shastri seems to have no compassion for the emotions patients experience during this process and after their losses. Conflict resolution should be a basic skill for doctors. They know we are emotional human beings created by God, and that we were in a difficult state, facing life's challenges every day. Those stresses can converge into a bad outcome on any of countless difficult days, whether while driving or communicating with RMA early in the morning. Choosing to treat us this way despite knowing that is deeply unfair.

RMA committed serious medical malpractice in my wife’s case, resulting in the death of my first child. Our first embryo transfer succeeded, but a female doctor said that although HCG was rising normally, she could not see the embryo on ultrasound. RMA urged my wife to take miscarriage medication, warning that an embryo growing in her fallopian tube would be dangerous. She eventually took it, but HCG kept rising. At a second ultrasound, a male doctor unexpectedly saw the embryo developing well. Because she had taken the medication, however, we had to continue the abortion due to possible harm. The embryo kept growing, so my wife needed more medication and ultimately terminated the pregnancy. I buried our only male embryo in our backyard. RMA’s doctors are irresponsible, rotate shifts, and are careless. Our second RMA transfer succeeded, after which I transferred to Valley Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey. Unlike RMA, one Valley doctor managed the patient throughout. Everything went smoothly, and we had a boy. I now have two children, but we still miss the child in our backyard. RMA mistakenly killed him. My wife still blames me for not suing RMA. I chose RMA because my insurer said its success rate was high. I later realized I had been misled: RMA was out of network, so I paid everything without reimbursement. Valley Hospital was in network, so my insurer would have paid. I share this so no other family suffers the same tragedy.

I hope this review helps even one person make a better-informed decision. Based on my experience, I would not recommend RMA or its affiliates. Throughout treatment, I often felt that important information about the process, possible side effects, and what to expect was not clearly explained beforehand. Unfortunately, I learned many things only after experiencing unbearable side effects. On one occasion, I was bleeding and deeply distressed. A nurse and doctor entered the room, but their interaction felt cold and lacked empathy. At such a vulnerable moment, compassion and reassurance would have made a great difference. Most difficult was that the physical and psychological effects of hormone injections did not end with treatment. Recovery took months. I wish they had been more transparent about possible effects so I could have prepared better. I usually avoid negative reviews because every organization can make mistakes. However, fertility treatment is sensitive and far-reaching, and patients deserve clear communication, empathy, and full transparency. That was not my experience.

My husband wanted me to do something good instead of standing in a welfare line asking for food stamps, and now I am being targeted in Hillsborough, New Jersey.

I had an excellent HSG experience at RMA Basking Ridge and wanted to share because the internet is full of frightening stories! The process was quick and well organized. After taking 600 mg of ibuprofen 30 minutes beforehand, the pain was only 3/10, felt more like pressure, and lasted no more than 1 minute. Everyone was friendly and professional, making the visit easy and stress-free. Special thanks to nurse Judeen, who was thoughtful and supportive and carefully guided me through every step. Dr. Reig was also very knowledgeable and took time to explain the procedure and results in detail.

RMA may have a strong reputation, but my experience working with them on insurance matters was incredibly frustrating. Because the clinic failed to submit complete documentation to the insurance company, patients were asked to pay for treatments and procedures that were actually covered. Worse, they did not advocate for the patient at all. Insurance representatives repeatedly asked to speak directly with a doctor or nurse to explain why my treatment was medically necessary, but no doctor ever took the call. This level of neglect is unacceptable for a fertility clinic handling emotionally and financially sensitive cases. Communication between the clinic's internal departments was completely disconnected, and external communication with patients and insurance companies was even worse. One department said one thing while another said something different, leaving the patient caught in the middle and trying to correct errors that should never have occurred. For such a well-known fertility clinic that claims to be a leader, this lack of diligence, accountability, and patient support is shocking. Fertility treatment is stressful enough without having to fight your own clinic to submit insurance documentation correctly.

My review of RMA is based solely on its billing practices and financial coordination. I am grateful for the medical care I received. In January 2026, I was required to prepay my deductible and coinsurance before an embryo transfer. I was skeptical of this requirement, and at that time my insurance company had not received any claims, so both my deductible and coinsurance were $0. They assured me that I would receive a refund if one was due after the transfer. My transfer was completed in February, and the insurance claim was processed for RMA. All charges except a small copay of $25 were paid to RMA. I began requesting my refund. It is now the end of April, and even after confirming that I owe them nothing, RMA still has not refunded me. None of my deductible or coinsurance was applied. RMA claims it issued the refund, but my bank confirmed by phone that it was never received. RMA refused to provide any assistance and continued holding money I paid that did not belong to them. Update: After the accounting department became involved, Jennifer did an outstanding job resolving my issue. I greatly appreciate her help in finally resolving the matter.

Throughout my entire fertility journey, my experience here has been fantastic—from egg retrieval and laparoscopic surgery to starting a family, every step made me feel well cared for. The weekly follow-up appointments were also great. I was very afraid of blood draws, but the staff made me feel very relaxed and I quickly got used to it. Appointment scheduling was efficient, and the nursing team communicated clearly and smoothly. I always felt their genuine care. Dr. Boliger and my nurse, Mary Ellen, provided exceptional care, support, and guidance throughout the entire process. Their compassion and expertise made this challenging journey much easier. I truly and strongly recommend this facility!

I am extremely disappointed with my final visit experience at RMA Basking Ridge, especially regarding my communication with Dr. Soorin Kim. I had high expectations, but they were clearly misplaced. Additionally, Dr. Kim refused to provide treatment at the last minute, despite the availability of safe, routine, and well-established alternatives that could replace her rigid and outdated requirements for follow-up transportation and support. I am still waiting for the clinic to refund my prepaid $2,500. They are not nearly as inclusive and progressive as they claim to be.
30/06/2026
The service and team members were amazing. We came here because we had been having difficulty conceiving for 13 months, and they performed all the bloodwork and other laboratory tests. The reason for the 2-star rating is that they did not perform a pregnancy test, even though my wife was already pregnant. As a result, we had to pay out of pocket for all the laboratory tests. The home pregnancy test the day before was negative, but a blood hCG test would have been positive. Please start performing pregnancy blood tests for your patients so they can save $5000.
14/06/2026
The weekend wait time is ridiculous. A simple blood test and ultrasound took more than two hours. After taking off my pants in the ultrasound room, I still had to wait another 20-30 minutes. Seriously... if the clinic is so understaffed, why not space appointments farther apart so people waste less time?
